Choosing "Don't ask me again"

I accidentally ticked on "Don't ask me again" and then i chose "Save" from options ..save, quit , cancel when i closed firefox.
Since that time i never get a warning message when i am about to close firefox and every time i start the firefox , it comes up with my last closed tabs .
I already edited in about:config value set to true in ""browserWarnOnQuit" and it doesnt work for me .
Can u help me with this problem please?

Firefox 4 and later versions save the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session.<br />
Use "File > Exit" or "Firefox > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit Firefox") if you want to restore multiple windows or otherwise have problems with restoring tabs.<br />
You can use "History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time.<br />
You may need to click the orange/gray Firefox button to see History.<br />
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default <b>about:home</b> Home page.
You can set the warn prefs on the <b>about:config</b> page to <b>true</b> via the right-click context menu or toggle the value with a double left-click.

  • I accidently checked the don't ask me again button when closing firefox, how do i uncheck it?

I accidentally checked the box that says don't ask me again when it prompted if i wanted to save and quit. However, i need it to ask me this so how do i un-check the box?

First check the following setting. In the Tools menu select Options. In the Options dialog go to the General panel and make sure the setting "When Firefox Starts" is not set to "Show my windows and tabs from last time", you can set it to either of the other 2 choices.
Now reset the 3 preferences that relate to warning when closing Firefox.
    # Type '''about:config''' into the location bar and press enter
    # Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
    # Find the following 3 preferences, right-click on them and choose '''Reset''' (if reset is not available they will already be at their default value)

  • 11g ER: Checkbox "Don't ask me again" for Configure File Type Associations

    Hi JDev team
On opening JDev 11g the Configure File Type Associations dialog opens each time, allowing me to associate JDev with 4 different file types. I don't want to associate the file types with JDev, I haven't found an option to turn this off and it's starting to get annoying. Can you raise an ER to include a check box to ask "Don't ask me again" please?
    Cheers,
    CM.

Ok I've done some digging and I think I've tracked down the issue - I'm guessing that you're running on Vista? This all has to do with the need to have elevated permissions to write to the registry on Vista.
What I suggest you do is manually run JDeveloper as an administrator, having first deleted the Jdeveloper.jprFile, Jdeveloper.jpwFile, Jdeveloper.jspFile, and
Jdeveloper.javaFile entries in the registry. Once you've run JDeveloper in this way you'll ok the dialog. Then on subsequent runs you should be able to run JDeveloper as a normal user without being troubled by the question.
Normally we automatically handle the permission elevation on the first run, but I'm guessing that because you've had previous pre-production builds of JDveloper on your machine that's prevented that from occurring.
Phew, this makes Unix permissions seem simple...

  • When I get unresponsive script what will happen if I select Don't ask me again

My PC often is running very slowly and it usually seems connected to a "Warning: Unresponsive script". I always select "Stop script" which usually sorts the problem and with no perceptible unwanted results. On the dialog box for the Unresponsive Script there is a tick box with "Don't ask me again". What action will the system take if I tick this box. Will it '''always''' cancel the script (which I want) or '''always''' continue (which I certainly don't want!)? I need a definitive answer please otherwise I could be hung up FOR EVER!

  • I got a popup that asked if I wanted Yahoo to be my homepage. I clicked on no and don't ask me again. Now it not only is my home page, I can't find a way to change it.

How can I change it back to the page I want

Never remember causes Firefox to create a block exception.
You can inspect and manage the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab via these steps:
*Click the "[[Site Identity Button|Site Identity Button]]" (globe/padlock) on the location bar
*Click "More Information" to open "Tools > Page Info" with the Security tab selected
*Go to the Permissions tab (Tools > Page Info > Permissions) to check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab
You can inspect and manage the permissions for all domains on the <b>about:permissions</b> page.

  • When I used to click on files to download it would ask me if I would like to open or save, I said "save" and "don't ask me again" making it my standard, how do I change this?

When I open files in "dropbox", which uses a file sharing through the internet, it creates "conflicting copies" and it is because of this saving instead of opening issue as far as I know. I never had the problem before.

    So sorry, I'm on windows.

  • I clicked on don't ask me again for a password by mistake

I accidently said never for this site and I made a mistake

Just found the answer to my own question in the Acrobatusers.com forum: Edit - Preferences - General - Reset All Warnings button

  • I clicked "don't ask me this again"; Oops.

I just made an embarissingly small (or maybe just embarrassing) but potentially hazardous mistake. While deleting something, I accidently clicked the "don't ask me again" box when it asked me to confirm the deletion process. So, now if I click "delete", things go straight to the trash - even if it's a mistake.
Is there a way to remedy this? Thanks in advance.

  • About Firefox plug-ins/scripts without response, don't ask me agin~

    for image:http://zhidao.baidu.com/question/1510245430866340020.html?quesup2&oldq=1
hi, guys, english is my second language, but I'll try my best~~~
Sometime I use Firefox, will tint “Have no response to the script or plugin”, my question is when I choose “don't ask me agin”:
    1. If hint show again, ALL WEB will According to my choice;
    2. If hint show again, ONLY THIS WEB will According to my choice;
    Which one Firefox will perform?
and, if i close firefox, “don't ask me agin” Settings are saved? (or Just for this time, when i start Firfox agin, the hint will show again )
the last question, How can I cancel “don't ask me agin”

Do you mean the unresponsive error message about a JavaScript that is running?
That choice is stored globally for all web pages.
As this can block the Firefox use interface, it is best not to select that choice.
You can reset the related pref on the <b>about:config</b> page via the right-click context menu to undo this choice.

  • Firefox repeatedly asks to use 3 specific fonts on my backup drive every time I start up Firefox even if I tell it not to ask me again.

I am using Firefox 3.6.10 on a iMac with a LaCie backup drive attached. Every time I launch Firefox, it asks me in 3 seperate pop-up boxes if it can use the following fonts on the backup drive.(Quick Type Mono, SvttTwo ITC TT, and SvtyTwo OS ITC). It claims they are not installed on the backup drive. Every time, I check the box "Don't ask me again" after allowing it to use those fonts but I still get the 3 pop-up windows upon a new launch of Firefox. I will also add that I clone my iMac hard drive to the backup drive so the backup drive should have everything the actual hard drive has including fonts. This is very frustrating so hope someone can help. Thanks!

Could you describe your current cookie settings?
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Privacy
'''Which of these best matches what you have for your regular cookie setting?'''
    (1) "Firefox will: Remember history"
    (2) "Firefox will: Never remember history"
    (3) "Firefox will: Use custom settings for history" with either
    * "Keep until: they expire" AND "Clear history when Firefox closes" either

    * "Keep until: I close Firefox" AND "Allow" exceptions set for the sites AND "Clear history when Firefox closes" either

I tried reset warnings , but dont succesfully I still dont has it.

I am having this same issue.  iTunes won't give me the option to skip already imported songs from an album after checking the "don't ask me again" box.  How do we get these warnings back?  I have tried to delete the iTunes plist and restarted iTunes with no difference.  Do I have to empty trash and restart the computer for the changes and warning dialog to return?

  • How do I untick "Don't ask again" on Script Stopped Working

I started getting a pop up telling me something similar to "A script has stopped working, do you want to stop it or continue" with two buttons accordingly. Also there was a tick box saying "Don't show this again".
I got sick of it happening so regularly and having to tick the Continue button - well it didn't tell me which script had stopped working and I wanted to Firefox to keep working and have all my plugins to continue working so clicked the Continue button, it would be good to know which script is not working so that it might help find out what's wrong and why it's not working... it's like most things that go wrong on PCs, "There has been and error, ---- will now close" Tell us what the error is so that we can report it to the programmers and they can fix it !?!?!?!?!
Anyway, I ticked the "Don't ask again" and clicked Continue...
Now Firefox pauses for about 5 seconds and sometimes longer every so often, and occasionally I see what appears to be this warning dialogue box flicker onto the screen for a split second...!?
How do I untick this box so that I get the buttons back so that I can stop the script working and then I'll be more likely to find out what's making this script not work by some part of Firefox or a plugin then not working and tell someone about it, rather than making things slow down so much...
I didn't know I had all the plugins listed below installed, where do they come from as I don't remember telling the machine that I've got Netscape- which I haven't as far as I know...?!
    == This happened ==
    Not sure how often
== I ticked the box telling it not to tell me again and continue...

  • How to re-activate a "don't ask me this again" dialog

Hi, I have a slight problem.
I accidentaly checked the "don't ask me this again" option in the text-to-speech voice selection dialog.
Now every time I do the text-to-speech, it automatically selects Kate's voice which I don't use at all.
I'm looking for an option to activate that voice selection dialog again. No success so far.
Do you know any way to do this?
