Choppy Ken Burns screensaver.........Never had this issue before
Maybe I've just been lucky to this point as I've had no issues whatsoever with the upgrade to v2.0.
But I came home from Valentine's Day dinner with my family, went to the aTV and noticed something that I'd never seen before......a slightly choppy and "grabby" Ken Burns mosaic screensaver. I've never had this issue before, even when I was using the 40gb aTV a few short weeks ago.
Also, I've noticed that the performance seems a bit sluggish in general as I navigate through the UI (ie unsmooth and choppy scrolling of artist and album titles and YouTube history). It's also choppy with the album artwork flow.
This strikes me as odd as I didn't have this issue on the 40gb aTV but am having it now for the first time after the upgrade on a 160gb with over 100gb's of free space.
My laptop PC(hosting iTunes) has been running without issue all the while.
Any ideas here?
Would a "reboot" do it?
This issue here reminds me of when my office PC starts to get sluggish. I'll reboot and it will be fine. But right now, I'm still a bit paranoid about rebooting my aTV.
(As info, I sync and never stream.)

A restart shouldn't do any harm at all, since you sync everything make sure you don't restore.

Why is Adobe Flash now asking me to quit 'QuicklookUIHelper' during install? I never had this issue before I upgraded to 10.8.5! Is there an alternative to Flash if I want to watch Youtibe or play material that uses Flash? Thanks in advance!
http://hoyois.github.io/safariextensions/clicktoplugin/ and other extensions work if the website has alternatives to the Flash content (much of youtube does) but otherwise, no.
You may need to restart before installing Flash. -
I was using IPhoto looking at creating a Book when I uploaded the book for purchasing the site froze. I stopped the upload turned off computer and when I restarted the computer IPhoto dissappeared. I called Apple and the lady talked me through restoring IPhoto. She found it in the trash.It worked fine for a day or two, I uploaded more photos from Nikon camera closed IPhoto and now it won't open. The App Store trys to open it but it times out and won't connect.
When I double click on IPhoto to open and look at my photos the APP store trys to open it. I never had this issue before. What do I do?Try dragging a photo to the desk top, highlight it and press COMMAND I this will open the info window, in the drop down menu "open with" select either preview, or other, then select iPhoto. Preview is the default.
Then click "Change All"

I recently downloaded some new music from the itunes store and created a new playlist. My phone will not sync with either the new music or playlist, this has never been an issue before. I have rebooted both my comuter and my phone.

Slow download speeds in Mount Kisco. Never had this issue before. Paying for 25/25
For the past 20 months we have loved the 25/25 speeds that we have paid for. We always get 31/25 via the Verizon Speed Check web site. For the past week, speeds have dropped to 3-5mpbs. Upload around 15mbps. Rebooting the router has fixed the issue a few times, but not in the last few days. Any ideas on what could be wrong?
I'm in Staten Island. My wireless speeds are the worst lately. I have the 35/35 and have never had any issues until the past few weeks. Tonight I can barely connect. Wired connections are speedy as always.

This software is killing the battery life. Anyone find a way to solved this issue with their iPads? If not, is there a way to go back to the last software, this is not acceptable.

Im trying to import cds i got for xmas onto my itunes and they arecoming up with no artist/album cover or track names, when i click get track info it says i have not internet connection, but im on my windows laptop and can get on the internet, is there something i need to so in itunes tmake it rcognise the album details?

It sounds like you are connected to the internet otherwise, but iTunes is giving you this error message when trying to get info from the Gracenote database to retrieve your album info. I had a couple of articles I wanted to recommend you try. First this one named:

Customize song and CD info
You can edit information in the Info window to make it easier to find and sort items in your library. For example, you can:
Group individual movements on a classical CD into one work by indicating the name of the work (for example, “Piano concerto in A Minor, Op. 54”) in the Grouping field.
Group songs that are part of a compilation together in your library by clicking the Info button and selecting the “Part of a compilation” checkbox.
Identify the individual artists on a tribute album in the Artist field, and type “various” in the Album Artist field.
Create your own genre category by clicking Info and typing the category in the Genre field.
Change the order in which tracks on a CD play by changing the numbers in the Track Number fields.
Create a Smart Playlist that includes only songs that are just the right speed for your workout by typing the number of beats per minute in the BPM field. For instructions, see Create a Smart Playlist.

I have a MacBook Pro OS X 10.9.3. My IPhoto is version 9.5.1 (902.17). I just updated all available software on the computer and still could not open IPhoto.

This means, that iPhoto cannot find your iPhoto library. You need to point iPhoto to the location of the library. Have you checked in the fInder, if your iPhoto library is still where it is supposed to be by default, in the Pictures folder, and called iPhoto Library.photolibrary? Or have you moved your library somewhere else and renamed it?

After my last OS software upgrade, the calendar and contact list will not sync with each other. My ipad is correct but some contacts and calendar information disappeared from my iphone. How do I fix this?

Compression failed message when downloading zip files. Any suggestions never had this issue before.
Hi using a site i always have used when downloading something it downloads then when it is about to open the zip file it says decompression failed. Any suggestions i googled many solutions nothing seemed to work.

I have Windows Vista and last week I upgraded my iTunes, i think it's up to 11. something or other and now all my music in my iTunes library has this scratch-type noise in the middle of the song. I've never had this issue before, all my songs played wonderfully and now every song has this scratching-type noise in the middle of it. Can someone help me?
OK, after looking into the settings on "my account" on the Verizon website, it appears that "caller ID" was removed from my "features" on my line. The only reason I actually noticed this is because I have the same phone as someone else on our account, so I looked at their features and noticed mine was missing. Any idea how to get it back on there? I can't seem to figure it out.

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.I've never had this problem before... today I opened iTunes and it prompted me to download the newest version. I use iTunes all the time and have updated it multiple times with no issues. During the installation process it gave me an error message that said:

I quit the installation, uninstalled iTunes and rebooted my computer. I now receive a similar message with a slight difference:

I did not leave anything out from the error message. It doesn't point to a specific file, it just ends with "(x86)..." Every time I boot up my computer, this error message pops up on my desktop.
How do I repair this issue? I have found multiple suggested solutions but am unsure which one is the best, and I don't want to try a bunch of different things for fear I may make the problem worse. I would like to try and fix this myself if possible but I need to know if that is really possible or if I need to take my computer to someone for repairs. I purchased a season of a TV show from itunes and it won't go onto my ipad, i've purchased several seasons in the past and never had this issue, how can i fix this?
Drew how is that even possible? I use gift cards all the time, any time I've had insufficient funds iTunes will not allow the purchase, sights Insufficient funds and rejects the purchase. Any time I log into my account the money in that account appears in the upper left corner. If you're not seeing that then you have other issues. Anyway... Kneil is right you should be able to rip CDs you own to your iTunes library (regardless of your money matters with iTunes), then depending on how you set up the music you need to add it to your playlist and then sync it to your iPod. Did imported music ever work? How are you ripping or importing the music to iTunes? Are you using a compatible format?
Something else to look at-- It's possible your cable is defective, have you tried a new or different cable? Some of what your describing is a bad cable issue. Good luck, Cheers.
