Chrome bezel falling off 3Gs, sim not reading and WiFi strength decreasing?
Well the chrome bezel started to fall off my phone about a month ago even though it was only purchased in May ¬¬ I'm only concerned about this now as it's just rendered my phone unuseable basically, when you touch the top of the phone, the sim goes unreadable and the WiFi only works if I'm about 2 meters away from my router, dust has also started to collect under the screen. I'm going crazy here as I need my phone for work and I don't have a spare phone. If I was to take it down to the Apple Store, would they fix it or replace it or something? I have warranty till mid 2012.
Very well could. How could you prove that a drop strong enough to dent the case couldn't have caused the problem you're currently having?
In any case, no one here can predict what will happen. Just go there, be nice, and maybe you'll luck out. But be prepared to pay anyway.

My IPhone 3GS will not now join wifi, this is a very recent problem. It finds my network but does not download the IP Address hence when I load password Join remains grey. I have tried all the fixes suggested I.e. network reset, airplane on then off but still nothing. I also have another iPhone of the same type and an iPad and they are just fine so I know it is not a router problem. Please please what do I do?

If your restore is failing, there could be MANY issues... You may need to restore the phone back to "new phone" during the restore... PAY ATTENTION HERE... You will lose ALL contacts, photos, videos, voice memos, etc... But you will be able to re-add your apps< and music through itunes. that is very last resort though. if that doesnt work, I would look into updateing your phone. Personally I wouldn't get the 5, just because I dont need the additonal size screen... I have the 4S and LOVE it!! but, do some research, and see what you can find on the matter. But it sounds like your headed down hill fast with that phone... May be best just to upgrade and save yourself the frustration...

HP TouchSmart 9100 not reading any wifi...
I have an HP TouchSmart 9100 that is not reading the wifi at all. It is a 32 bit Windows 7 Professional system. The drivers it has for netowrk adapters are the two bluetooth Device drivers and the Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller. There isn't a wifi driver and when I try to download it from the HP site, nothing happens. It just keeps looping when I go through the wizard and nothing happens even after I restart the computer. Anyone know what might be happening?

I understand you have a HP Touchsmart 9100 that will not even give you a boot screen for the BIOS, correct?
If the HDD is not functioning you would not see the BIOS. Video card not functioning you would see the BIOS and be able to perform some diagnostics on the computer. If you remove the HDD you would not be able to do anything with the HP Touchsmart 9100.

Cd not reading and cannot eject
I put a cd in my imac. It did not read and does not show up on my desktop.
I have tried placing the computer in sleep mode and pressing the eject key, holding the mouse button down as I restart, restarting and holding command-opt-o-f (nothing happens, the computer starts as normal every time and I never get the firmware prompt) and opening the terminal application and pasting in /usr/bin/drutil eject.
I cannot get this CD to eject no matter what I try. Are there any other options I should explore? Or am I doing something wrong? I really need to get this CD out so I can continue my work.
Edited to Add: I also tried holding the option ket down during start up. I got the hard drive to show up, but no disk ejection.

I rather regret avoiding the OP's earlier post asking how to combine two classes. I looked at the two classes posted and realized the best thing to do was actually to break them into more classes. But I also realized it was going to be a big job explaining why and how, and I just don't have the patience for that sort of thing.
So now we have a Big Ball Of Tar™ and I feel partly responsible. -
Network controller& USB controller driver not found and wifi not working

Update: While the driver I knew would work has not shown up yet, I did some detective work and explored some other broadcom wireless card driver folders from some HP links, and I found one that should work for you. While it says it is for HP desktop PC's, they put the exact same wireless card form factor in a desktop PC that they do in a notebook PC. I see no reason why this driver would not work, since the setup information file contains the same hardware ID that you posted. Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file and you can see the hardware ID you posted is supported by this driver. x86 - Win7

SIM not reading, Need help fast due to being abroad!!
My iPhone 4 was working perfectly until about an hour ago when I received an error message stating I have no sim. I restarted the phone several times with no luck. Then I restored all settings through the iPhone with no luck until I turned my phone off for 3 mintues and upon turning it back on (I was unable to reset the phone because I have no computer back up and no WiFi because of the no SIM) the tmobile signal appeared. I was able to connect to wifi to reset my phone which it is in the processes of doing. But after 5 minutes the NO SIM appeared where tmobile appeared. I am in Austria for another 3 weeks and this is my only connection back to home and I am not even able to contact someone to tell them what is happening. If anyone has ANY solutions that does not involve going to an ATT store (my phones original carrier) to replace the SIM card since I am not capable to do so it would be greatly appreciated. Remove the SIM card.
Verify that the SIM card is not damaged or dirty, then reinstall the SIM card.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Wait approximately two minutes, then see if iPhone detects the SIM card and if it will register on the network.
If that doesn't work, try another SIM card for that carrier, if possible, to see if it is detected.
If the message still exists, please go to: apple.com/support/iphone/service/faq/ for information on service.
Note: If you need to send your iPhone in for service or if you want to temporarily use a different phone, you may be able to use the SIM card inside your iPhone with another GSM phone.
