Chrome Email "Bob Rohrman" Auto group

Does anybody else have problems, with Bob Rohrman Auto group ADs, blocking ability to handle Email abilities? Such as moving text up and down, or, getting full screen?

I believe the problem is with the designer, handling Chrome. When I use Internet Explorer, which I was forced to have besides Chrome, there isn't a problem. It looks like the top of the AD goes above, where it should. Besides Bob Rohrman, there is one other AD that does that. Thanks for your help, but from now on if I see, the problem I exit and go back using Internet Explorer.

  • Can't Send Email to Address Book Group

First time trying to create a group in Address Book and send the members an e-mail. Looks like the group is set up properly in Address Book, but I can't e-mail to the group.
When I enter the group name in "To:" in a new e-mail in Mail, the name disappears when I hit Enter or move hte cursor to the right. I have to click in the field to the right just to get the group name to stay in the field.
When I send the message I get this back: "This message couldn’t be sent because the following internal error occurred: This message couldn’t be sent because you haven’t specified any recipients."
I can manually address the email to the individual group members, but why isn't Mail adding the group members as recipients when I enter the group name?
I'm running OS X 10.7.3. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I, too, have had "When sending to a group, show all member addresses" checked since forever. I have just tried creating a group (or "Folder," actually, since it's in an Exchange account) of contacts and sending email to it. If I create a new message in Mail and start typing the group name, it auto-completes. But if I click the offered compltion, or type TAB, COMMA, or ENTER, the group name disappears from the "To:" box and there are no recipients.
If I right-click the name of the group in Address Book and pick 'Send mail to "(group name)"' a new email message composition window appears, but there are no recipients.
Hold the phone ... I just deleted the first member from the group, then re-added him. Now it partly works. I can 'Send Mail to "(group name)"' from Address Book, and I can drag the group into a recipient field (but I must then "Expand group" to see the addresses in Mail). But still, if I type the group into a recipient field, I get nothing.

  • Cannot assign an email address to SharePoint group (distribution groups)

    Hello,
I configured incoming email awhile back in our SharePoint 2010 environment and it works great. I can assign an email address to a list and the necessary contact is created in AD in the OU I configured for incoming email and of course the item emailed in
is added to the list.  However, if I try to assign an email address to a SharePoint group to create a distribution group, the following happens:
The following error has occurred while attempting to contact the Directory Management Service: The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.
From what I've found on Technet and other resources, if incoming email works as expected, assign an email address to a group should work without issue but this obviously isn't the case.  I've dug around in the 14 hive and pretty much the same exact error
is found there (with just a little more detail):
System.Net.WebException: The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall)
    at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters)
at Microsoft.SharePoint.DirectorySoap.SPDirectoryManagementProxy.CreateDistributionGroup(String Alias, String Name, String Description, String ContactCN, RequestInfo Info, DistributionGroupFlags Flags)
at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPGroup.CreateDMS(String dlAlias, String friendlyName, String description, String[] members, String requestor, String justification, Int32& jobId)
Any ideas what this could be?  I'd imagine the timer service account has the appropriate permission on the OU as it can create objects for lists with incoming email enabled without issue.

For the issue with group members who are not added during the creation process ...
I followed this Technet article : Configure
incoming email for a SharePoint 2013 farm
But in the paragraph "Configure AD DS to be used with Directory Management Service", I added
delegation of control for the following common tasks :
    Create, delete and manage groups
Modify the membership of a group
The distribution group gets created in AD with members in SharePoint 2013 ! It should work with 2010 as well…
PS : Do not forget to set up these rights, not only for the Central Administration Application pool Identity account, but for all
    your Web Applications!

  • Ungrouping auto-grouped text in a PDF form

After I have created a form in FormCentral and import it into Acrobat Pro to further edit (I need it to be one page, so I'm moving fields around and compressing space), some of the text is auto-grouped into larger text boxes. For example, I have a name field above a phone number field, the "Name" and "Phone Number" titles are put into a single text box rather than two separate ones. Is there a way to avoid this so I can move the titles separately or do I need to cut and paste a bunch of times to put them into their own boxes?
    Thanks.

You can't change the way Acrobat interprets the text structure of the file.
The bottom line is that PDF files are not really meant to be edited in such
a way, and Acrobat is not a word processor or layout editor, so don't
expect it to deliver too much on that front.

I have finally set up a group in my contacts. Can anyone please tell me how to send an email to the entire group? running Mavericks on iMac

Drag the entire group into the To: field of a new message. The group is in your Address Book. You've used a name for it, like My Group. You can simply start typing "My Group" in that To: field and it should appear in a context menu.

  • Email a sharable contact group

    Hello,
    scenario: Exchange 2010 SP3
    Outlook 2010 SP1
A user created a contact group and shared it with a bunch of internal users. These users see the contact group in their outlook profile. One of these users would like to email to this shared contact group. He opens up a new email and tries to find the sharable
group. He is unable to. He chooses address book and looks into his contacts and nothing there.
Is it possible to email a sharable contact group in outlook 2010? If so how?
    Alexis

    Hi Alexis,
Please drag and drop the shared contact group from Shared Contacts folder to the contact of My Contacts folder. Then the shared contact group would be copied to the user's own contact folder and can be selected from Address Book for send messages.

  • Email ID  of sales group

    Dear All
In SO header, we manually enter a value for 'sales group'.(vkgrp)
Can you pls tell, where should we maintain the   Email ID of this 'sales group'  in SAP?
Also, request you to pls tell, in which table, this email id of sales group is stored. Purchasing group (ekgrp)  Mail ID is stored i T024 table.
    Thanking you for your time.
    Rgds
    Sumanth.G

    Hello Sumanth,
I believe you cannot have email id for Sales Group. As it is just a Group of Person which has no address & other details stored in SAP Tables.
As an alternate you can have email id for Sales Office or Sales Person.
I believe Email ID of Sales Person would be useful in your case.
All the Email id's will be stored in ADR6 table against Address Number of the Object.
    Hope this helps,
    Thanks,

  • Nesting of Rules for Auto Group (Role) Membership Rules in OIM 11gR2

Does anyone know how to nest rules for auto group (role) membership in OIM 11gR2. The General rules in Design Console are no longer used for auto group membership and the rules that can be configured in the Role properties cannot be nested as far as I can see.
    Any info is appreciated.
    Thanks!

My mistake... this is possible in the web ui.

  • Email Names/Addresses  in Groups Don't Show up

I have some groups which contain members of my address book which fail to show up when sending an email to this particular group.
I have created the group over and over again....although the group has all the correct names and email addresses; it fails to send the email to all the people within the group. Upon close inspection certain names are habitually omitted.
    What to do?

    Any progress on this?

  • Kde update 4.9 & problems with auto-grouping windows

Since upgrading kde to the latest version (4.9), I'm having problems getting the window manager to automatically group windows as it used to. It should group windows of okular, for example, by default, but no matter what I do, I can't get this to happen.
I've tried modifying (basically reasserting) the settings for okular in the "windows rules" settings (under "more actions > window manager settings". I've also tried doing this via the new option "more actions > special application settings" which creates a second entry in the list of window rules. I basically have "autogroup with identical" set to "force" "yes" which seemed to do the trick before but no longer seems to have any effect. It is still enforcing placement and geometry for okular windows so it can't be that it isn't recognising the windows as ones to which the settings apply. It seems to be specific to the grouping stuff.
Does anybody have any suggestions? The config seems to have changed a bit and I'm thinking I must have missed some new setting somewhere but I just seem to keep going in circles.

Unfortunately, I am using Oxygen window decorations already.
I do have the "Attach as tab to" option but it is a pain to have to group every window manually.
I've discovered that auto-grouping does work for windows opened on the same virtual desktop but if I open a new okular window from konsole, say, I get a new window on that desktop rather than having it end up attached as a new tab to an existing window on another desktop. I can work around it by having all okular windows start on a standard desktop but this is a pain as I didn't want okular to behave this way.
Thanks for the suggestion, though. I found a lot of my window behaviour got messed up by this update. Mostly it's just a question of resetting things but this one has me stumped.

  • Problems with emailing to a large group

Has Apple changed something recently?  I used to be able to send an email to a large group of people attaching one or two photos.  Now, everytime I try to do this my email completely craps itself.  The emails go into my sent box, but aren't actually sent to anyone.  Or if they are sent, they are complete gibberish.
What on earth is going on?  Why is Apple making sending an email so bloody difficult!

Yep, I'm using the Apple Mail app.  I think the problem may be as a consequence of the latest OS update because I've only just started to have this problem.
The emails are definitely going into my sent box so I think they have been successfully sent, which is extremely frustrating.
This morning I tried to send the emails to smaller groups in case that was the problem.  I received a reply which showed that the email had pages of letters and symbols instead of the text of the email and attached photos.  But at least one person successfully received the email.
It is just very frustrating because I used to be able to send these emails without any problems.  Now I don't know if they are being sent, received, or received in an unreadable form!
I'm going to try creating a pdf document to circulate and see if that works.

  • Copy many email addresses to a group in address book?

I have received an email with a lot of email addresses, and I want to add all these email addresses to a group in an address book.
There doesn't seem to be a easy way to do this. Any suggestions?

Download [Mail Scripts|http://homepage.mac.com/aamann/Mail_Scripts.html]. It has a script to do what you want. You can import all of the addresses in an email, choose which ones go to which groups, and even create a group while in the interface.

If you mean on your iOS device, unless something has changed recently you have to use an app to do this (like Speed Names or similar).
