My ipod is not taking a charge. Can anyone help?
I have an older Ipod which is not taking a charge.
How are you trying to charge it? Have you tried a different cable to see if that makes a difference?
If nothing else, your iPod's battery may be shot and in need of a replacement.

IPOD 5 Touch is not taking a charge. It shows a picture of a lightning bolt and above that a picture of a battery at the end of the battery is a slim red line. This was purchased in August 2013. Could it be battery or ac charger adapter or usb cable?
Those all sound like reasonable causes. I do not know the answer. There is probably an Apple Support forum for the ipod that could help. Also try the ipod Help in itunes.

i have an apple i pad 16 gb...i have it charging for days and its not taking the charge what else can i try...
Could be the charger, cable or the iPad.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
And this - Unplug the charger from the iPad and then replug. May resume charging.
Or - Recalibrate the battery. See link below.
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. I would be grateful if someone could advise. Do I need a new battery after such a short time? I have my ipad which I have had for 14 months and no problem with it.and it is constantly in use, but ipad mini is not used as much and now not able to charge it. help.
Regards
Salvia11Are you using the wall charger? It's unlikely to be the battery .
Take it to an Apple Store for evaluation.

We have been running off of the orriginal charge for 2 weeks and are now down to 9% battery life. We plug it in at night and have tried severel different sockets in case that was the issue. Did our ipad2 come with a faulty charger? Is this a warranty item?

Sounds like it and yes it's a warranty item. Try plugging it into your computer (turned on) and leaving overnight. It will say not charging but it should charge very slowly, enough to get you by until you can get a new charger. -
My 16 gig, 7th generation ipod nano just died yesterday.
I assumed it just needed recharging.
It is not responding. I have complete black screen even when its hooked up to charge....and it wont turn on.
Help!!!!
I got it as a birthday gift around the end of May, its brand new.Clean out the Lighting connector on the bottom of the nano, clean Lightning connector cable, make sure your computer is not set to go to sleep and connect it to the computer and let it charge for 30 minutes. After this time, while it is still connected, hold down the home and sleep buttons, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons.

MicroPhoto not taking a charge anymore
Have made a search and found similar problems to no avail.. my Microphoto is month old in prestine condition and yesterday I plugged in the Microphoto via USB (using the cable supplied by Creative) and the unit no longer pulses blue anymore and although the charge indicator shows a "lightning bolt" icon meaning it's plugged into a power source, the power meter/level doesn't go up at all.
I do have in-store warranty on my unit through Circuit City.. should I just return mine and grab a new one?

Di'version, you might want to reinstall the creative drivers and see if it works. -
Has anyone else had these troubles since "upgrading" to 2.0? My phone is now more then a year old, so perhaps it's battery is dying a natural death? Um, and by natural, I mean it's dying just as apple wanted it to, in about a year.
Are you charging by a USB cable or in the wall? Your cord may have a fault; can you try a different one?

My Ipod nano touch is not charging, not showing in my PC or laptop. Last I saw an apple icon and low battery signal. There after the screen is black and no power not taking AC or PC charge. What Can I do?
If the Reset didn't work, you'll need to do a Restore.
From iTunes, select the iPad and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finished, you will be asked if you wish the contents of iTunes to be copied to the iPad. -
After installing IOS7 on my IPad2, it takes a very long time to charge and does not hold the charge. Should I uninstall IOS7, how do you do that? HELP!!
Do you have the cover on your ipad? If so you may need to go into settings>General and turn on lock/ unlock so that it goes into standby when cover is closed. Not sure this is your problem but it was why my battery didn't last long. As far as long charge time goes I have noticed it is taking longer to charge also. Hope they fix some of these bugs in the first update.

I purchased a brand new iPhone 6 from "Smart Avenue" phone shop located in Avenue Mall (Swefiyeh Mall), Amman (Jordan) in November 2015. In late December it started not taking charge normally. I can sometime (not in all attempts) charge the iPhone with completely switch off state. I checked with multiple chargers from other users with no luck. I left the phone with the seller shop for more than a month with no result. They suggested me to send the phone to USA for a 200USD charge to get a replacement which I did not agree. I believe there should be a way to get it repaired in Amman (Jordan) for free of Charge.
I wonder if anyone in this forum can suggest me with a solution to get the phone repaired by myself or through some local authorized service provider for free. You've been told what the solution is but refused to accept it. We can't help you.

janniemarie wrote:

No, just 1G Nanos. If the battery is no longer taking a charge, it's a good indication that the battery is shot and in need of a replacement. You can opt to have Apple swap it out for a flat fee, send it to a third party company to do the same repair job, or buy a replacement battery from an online site and swap it out yourself.
