Mon iphone 4 a fait une petite chute, environ 1 mètre. La vitre n'a pas cassé mais l'écran est bleu avec des lignes verticales.
Il sonnait jusqu'à présent lors d'un appel mais maintenant les appels sont déviés sur la boite vocale.
J'ai essayé de le réinitialiser (bouton home + power)sans succès.Si je le connecte sur mon pc, il est reconnu (bip et synchronisation ok)
Naturellement il n'es plus sous garantie.
Que faire?? y a-t-il une solution?

I have finally got my computer to operate without any problems and all my programs work fine, the last time I upgraded to Windows 8.1 I had all kind of issues. So my question is; do you have to upgrade to Windows 8.1 or is this a squeeze chute with no option? Right now I can decide if I want to use Skydrive or not but with Windows 8.1 with Onedrive it automaticlly loads my pictures and documents with out my knowledge and I have to go sreaching to see where they went. You are not obliged to update to 8.1 but it is beneficial as it is more stable. With 8.1 you will be eligible to get the free Windows 10 upgrade when it comes out at the end of the year.
As far as Onedive goes you can disable the uploading of your files by changing the settings, also see this:

How to uninstall APC Power Chute

I recently installed 10.6.8 on my core duo iMac. Not knowing that APC no longer supports Mac I mistakenly installed the Power Chute backup disc. Now I can't uninstall it because the APC uninstaller doesn't recognize my system password, which does work for every other app. I even changed the password but to no good end. Does anyone know how to uninstall this program? Thanks.

You will need to contact APC, they have an application they can send you from their Tech Support that will run an uninstall routine. It's a pain to get rid of but that's the only way I'm aware of getting rid of it.

How do i install a superdrive

Hello,
Just wondering if anybody knows how I can find instructions, or if anyone is willing to give them, on how to install/replace a superdrive in a 2006-era MacBook. My superdrive pulled the chute, I have a new one, now I just need to know how to replace it. My operation system is OX Version 10.5.8, if that matters.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

HP Laserjet 6L paper feed

For some reason, the paper has started coming out the bottom front of the printer, rather than following the normal path to the top front bin. I've wiped down everything I can reach inside the unit with alcohol. How can I fix this? Thanks.

Hi,
The HP Laserjet 6L has a switch to the left of the slot where your paper is coming out. The switch must be in the UP position to direct the paper output to the upper collection chute.

HP Laser Printer 1018 prints in grey

My transcript documents in Word xp are printing in grey.
I bought another computer and i've followed all the steps in the printer troubleshooting options still prints in grey. These are all the things i've done to try to rectify the problem with no success.
1. Printer troubleshooting steps
2. Opened notepad typed a few lines and it printed in black.
3. Opened a page from another transcript that i did months ago, but prints in grey.
4. Printed something from the internet and it prints in black.
5. These are the things that are checked off in the word printing advanced button:

Should i maybe click one of those two? The "print in draft" is not checked. It's blank.
I just printed another test page and it's in black. I printed something off the internet and it's in black. I went back into notepad and it printed in black. I printed a page from another transcript and it printed grey. It seems it's only my word documents that are coming out in grey. So it has to be something that's set in word that's making it come out grey. Also, I hooked it up to my older pc and printed a page and it printed in black. This really has me stumped.
And if you're wondering why i just don't print my document on my old pc it's because I have something that's not right there as well. When i print a large document like a 200-page transcript it misses printing some pages, stops in the middle of printing for long periods of time. Sometimes it'll print 30 pages then stops and won't start again for 10-15 minutes.. etc. So I can't trust that pc to do my transcripts. Too risky. That's why i bought a newer one.

@ mcl922- I would start by cleaning to contacts on the cartridges and the contacts in the printer chute to ensure that build up is not the source of the issue with the printer's output. Pages 22-23 of the product's user manual will show one how to clean the contacts. After that is complete, I would look at the troubleshooting steps offered in this document here. I hope that this helps.

If you want some advice from a parent who has a 5yr old, a 3yr old and a 1yr old using Ipads... Keep them off the Youtube stuff.. It has caused more problems for me than anything you would believe..
From issues with the Ipads... finding they have gone from Dora the Explorer vidoes to cartoons of characters called poopman... and the biggest problem.. I think the overdose of Ipad usage has ruined my kids from doing what regular kids should be doing.. On xmas they opened all their gifts, then just went back to the ipads.. I thought Candyland and Chutes and Ladders would be a big change.. Forget it.. They need rehab from Ipad..

Windows 8 USB 3.0 Problems

I have run into many USB 3.0 problems across multiple devices and computers running Windows 8 Pro 64-bit. After many headaches and sleepless nights I think I have narrowed all the problems down to one thing in Device Manager:
"Intel (R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller -0100 (Microsoft)”
The controllers (Multiple Computers) have had problems with all the Microsoft Drivers including the most resent: 6.2.9200.16548 3/1/2013
The problems:
USB 3.0 External Optical Drives (labeled Windows 8 compatible) not recognized or continuously disconnecting/reconnecting with or without manufacturers drivers.
USB 3.0 Flash drives running slow and/or disconnecting often with data corruption/loss
USB 3.0 Flash drives not recognized
My solution: <Disabled> “Intel xHCI Mode” or “XHCI Pre-Boot Mode” in BIOS/Firmware
This solution Takes the
"Intel (R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller -0100 (Microsoft)” out of Device Manager and eliminates all the problems stated above across multiple machines running Windows 8 Pro 64-bit.
However: This is not a fix.
The Intel USB 3.0 controllers on the machines seam to only run at 2.0 speeds. (Before they were also slow but much less functional, often not recognizing devices)
Non-Intel USB 3.0 controllers are fully functional at full USB 3.0 speeds. (Before they had limited or no function depending on the controller)
This appears to be a fix for non-Intel USB 3.0 controllers but what about the Intel controllers that take the lion’s share of USB 3.0 controllers on the market?
Dose Microsoft have a fix for

Is there a new Microsoft driver coming out soon? How about an Intel driver for Windows 8 like the one they have for 7?

Hi I guess I am going to add a few more flies to the ointment.
I have a serious issue with USB 3.0 and I would like to hope that somebody may have an answer even if they are unable to help.
I run three different computers, for three completely different purposes, they are of different makes, One is an Acer, the other is a Pryon and the third is a Toshiba, I also have 2 Toshiba laptops, one brand new running Windows 8, the other running
Windows 7. So basically what I am saying here probably has nothing to do with the systems I am running.
I guess a lot of people are getting swindled here by the hard drive manufacturers and everyone here seems to be blaming it on windows. I have spent thousands of dollars replacing all my old 2.0 drives (and some were getting a bit tired) with these new fangled
super duper super fast 3.0 drives. I think overall in the past year I have bought around thirty of them, mostly portables, but some desktop ones, all different brands too I might add, Seagate, Western Digital, Toshiba and Samsung. This as you can imagine has
cost me a lot of money. The data I had on the old 2.0 drives equated to about 20 years of my life. Out of the roughly thirty I have bought, nine of them have bit the dust so to speak. Nearly all, once they become unusable, come up with the same thing, "The
last USB device you connected to this computer is not recognised.
As an example I will recount exactly what has occurred with the last one to fail, which was today about 4 hours ago as I write this. It was working perfectly fine this morning, never gave off one indication that it may be about to fail. Then after a restart
(which incidentally I am wondering if anyone else has this problem whereby once they shut down their computer they have to either power off or remove every USB 3.0 device from their unit before the computer will even start - this happens on two of mine - but
not on the Toshiba)
So I shut down, I am using a powered 9 port hub for most of the portables on this particular system (Pryon) which I have to power off so all the drives disappear else the computer just hangs at the boot screen until I have done this) I have one 2,0 disc
connected which I don't need to remove for the system to start.
Anyways once I have restarted the computer I then re-power up the hub and all the drives are loaded again and away I go. Well that was all good except when I checked one of my drives was missing from the File manager that I use (Salamander) and also not
showing in Windows Explorer either. So I trace down the culprit, unplug it and re-plug it back in. Lo and behold up comes the afore-mentioned windows does not recognize this device. This is odd given that there are five other drives of the exact same make
and model attached to the same hub still working. As I don't have all the slots in the hub filled I decide to change the slot and plug it into a different one. Same result. So then I decide to plug it into a 3.0 slot connected directly to the box, same result.
As a last try I then plug it into a 2.0 slot on the box, same result. So then I take it out and try it on the other two boxes and eventually the laptop...same result....
I now have nine of these contraptions all totally useless to me....yes I guess I could send em back to Seagate and Toshiba and Western Digital and they will replace em with a brand new one...clean as a whistle with my twenty years up the poop chute....
I have looked everywhere through Google trying to find someone or somebody with the same problem as me, surely I cannot be the only person in Australia that happens to keep on getting the duds.
I've had 2.0 drives that have lasted ten years or more and probably may have went another ten if I didn't keep so called upgrading....some of these that have failed on me are not even 3 months old. I even had one desktop 3.0 drive that I bought on the Wednesday
in Adelaide and by the time I had gotten it home after my son had copied some stuff onto it..it wouldn't work.
I have tried just about everything I've ever read on these forums, like using a different cable, Ive even pulled one of the portable to pieces to be able to use an attachment that I can plug it directly into a 3.0 slot and still nada....
My newest laptop is still under warranty and I have had that back to the supplier twice with a main hard drive failure which they have had to replace.
The reason why I am suggesting here that it may not be all windows fault is that my other laptop is still running windows seven and once a drive cacks it it wont show up in that either....I will say this though, I only have one drive that I use in that laptop
and that is still running well.
Now before everybody jumps down my throat I have checked thoroughly for viruses on all my boxes, and they all are clean. And in anycase I've never heard yet about a virus that can attack one hard drive only, given that all that is on there is music, just
like the other six.
Unless windows eight itself somehow manages to render a hard drive useless somehow then it has to be a fault in the manufacturing technology and that even though a drive might work perfectly for a week or two there is something there that the manufactures
are missing in their testing.
Like someone said earlier, maybe it is going to take some massively big law-suit from a huge company that has lost everything against somebody for them to realise that USB 3.0 is tainted and no good.
Do they still make 2.0 cause I am going back there and hopefully I can do it before I lose everything, even though it will take a good part of six months to copy back over whatever it is that I still may have left....

Using a 'Welcome' file

Setting the starting page for a project is a simple matter, but I'm having some trouble trying to automatically forward to another page inside the framework.
My intention is to automatically redirect from 'index.jsp' to another page, purely for the purpose of establishing a session in which to store values. I've tried using the <jsp:forward page="/nextPage.faces"/>, but I'm receiving "page not available" errors from the server.
Is there a simpler way to accomplish this step using the IDE tools?

No takers yet? Perhaps my original question was too vague. Let me explain my predicament. I've coded a page that includes a radiobutton list that contains some conditional code. The list defaults to option 1, but if the user selects option 2, the page reloads without rendering a certain control that becomes superfluous. I'm storing the selected value of the radiobutton list in a string property in my session bean and that is what I'm checking each time the page loads.
The problem is, the session hasn't been created on the very first time the page loads. When I click the radiobutton, the page resubmits and a session is generated. However, that's too late if I select the option 2. The unwanted component is still generated because there wasn't a property to check. Everything works great after the session is started, it's just the initial click that is the problem.
So that's why I'm looking for a way to get the session started out of the chute. Core jsf recommends using an index.jsp page as the start file with a <jsp:forward> tag that routes the user into the faces servlet. However, that requires a change to the web.xml file - and that kills the domain.xml file of the Sun App Server (An ugly story not related to this thread).
My question is, do I have to be a pro with the Sun App server's domain.xml file to do this, or does the JSC IDE provide some mechanism to start a session with the initial page load?

Adobe After Effects CC showing incorrect OpenGL version on New Macbook Pro Retina Late 2013

Hey Guys, Quick question here. I'm attempting to work on a project on After effects. I keep getting Out of Memory error upon loading the project. i went in and tweaked the settings and i noticed on my GPU page, it says my OpenGL version is 2.1. On Apple's website it says the OpenGL version of My Macbook (Late 2013 15" Retina, Geforce 750M 2048MB) is 4.1
Any reason why it shows the incorrect version? i dont think the OpenGL is whats causing my Out of Memory error, but i just want to make sure im not over looking anything in attempt to resolve the issue.

T61 - Help needed to re-attach the "Shift" key

I accidentally popped off the shift key when cleaning my keyboard. Unlike most other keys on the keyboard, underneath the actual "shift" key cover is a raised point made of a blue rubber-like material. I cannot figure out to re-attach the cover to the shift key and hoping someone can help me out!

You need a pair of tool tweezers and sober pair of hands or a small screwdriver like the jewelers driver included in those eyeglass repair clips on grocery store endcaps.
The blue cone you're referring to is often called a "chute" and black and white scissors is sometimes referred to as a "pantograph"
Use your tool to snap the pegs into the plastic brace on your deck and it should stand erectly over the blue chute.
The important part is installing the scissors with correct orientation because it can still snap fit but upside down and prevent proper key attachment before overwhelming frustration. On the bottom of your Shift key is likely the scissors and this should be snapped off the key. The white half of the scissors should be oriented north to the LCD
Then snap the scissors into the brace, the shift keys have a metal U bracket and this should be unfurled as far as possible towards the bottom / mousepad.
The shift keys are the hardest keys to reinstall but not impossible, if you become frustrated and break it,, you can buy replacement keys from third parties and we use http://www.machinaelectronics.com/store/ (no affiliation except always satisfied) for $6 replacements shipped first class.
Don't just sit there, take a second and use the Kudo's button to compliment the people who help you.

Opening Movies from my my iDisk in iWeb

I have been using iWeb to manage my work website. Since I am an animator I have a large number of videos on my site to show samples of my work. If I just imbed the movies into the web page itself, the load times are horrible on those pages. For example one page which shows my game animation has 6 movies ranging from 20 seconds to 5 minutes. To get around this I currently use a program called "file chute" which provides me away to use a hyperlink to the movies that are stored in my iDisk and open them in a separate internet browser windows. It allows me to keep the pages themselves light so there load time is quick. File Chute works great.
Here's the problem. File Chute uses the old "homepage.mac.com" which Apple is going to be discontinued as of July 7th this year. Is there someway I can just use mobile Me to get a link to my iDisk movies so I can do it this myself without a special program? Seems like there would be.

I have uploaded my videos to my gallery on MobileMe. Now there is a "MobileMe Gallery widget" in iWeb '09 (under "widgets" just where your photos/movies,etc. are) ...
... when I drag this widget to a website I can choose from my "Events" in my MobileMe gallery. I think that this way iWeb only links to the selected video instead of embedding it.
