CIAC 4.1 installation - not able to deploy "SC_Services_4-1.xml" package

I'm doing a fresh installation of CIAC 4.1, installed CPSC and also finished importing/deploying portal pages and done with Rex Adapter installation.
While deploying service package 'SC_Services_4-1.xml', it's just not finishing the deployment in spite of waiting for hours together. It seems to be quite a huge package at 56 MB, and we did have had difficulty deploying even 2 MB xml files in the previous 10.0 version.
We increased the heap size to see if that helps to 1 GB but it didn't help.
Appreciate your input on how to address this problem. Without resolving this, we cannot proceed with CIAC installation/configuration. Thank you

Thank you Song for your response. I just posted it in the IAC forum, just thought the issue is with the Catalog Deployer and hence posted here to see if anyone has faced the problem.

Hi Guys,
I am not able to deploy the MDM Enrichment controller, i get ServerDeploymentException. I tried Deploying using the JSPM tool.
I doubt whether is it due to the mismatch is SP level of my MDM server and the Netweaver installation.
MDM version is MDM 7.1 SP02
Netweaver is Netweaver 7.1 SP05.

Not able to deploy portal projects

Hi all,
I am trying to deploy .net iviews on the portal but I am not able to deploy it. Its giving time out error. Neither I am able to view any .net iviews that were already deployed on the portal. Can anyone help me on this issue.

Not able to DEPLOY an application

i am not able to deploy one particular application onto one particular WAS.
the same is deploying and running fine on other servers...

we had exactly the same exception:

we could not see the name listed in the "undeploy" list of the SDM, the problem was caused when we got a disconnection before the deploy finished
may be sounds simple but we just restarted SDM and the application was visible to be undeployed.
just be sure to select the application of the tag <display-name> of your application.xml.
or open the file
temp4267bp.comexmplproducts_lds_create.ear
and look directly for the names of the applications u must undeploy.

SCCM not able to deploy update ms14-008

Hi Team, I am deploying software update with SCCM 2012 but I found one of them not able to deploy, it seems that it is only downloadable from MS download ctr and it is executable file.

any advice how can I use sccm software update to deploy it instead of extracting a msi and don't know what collection to be target for deployment?

I don't think MS14-008 is published via WSUS. Hence there is a chance that it's not available in SCCM !

Not able to access the mx.controls package

hi,
i found a weird issue. I'm developing my application
entirely using actionscript 3 by creating "actionscript Project' in
the flex builder. I need to use the ColorPicker component which is
under mx.controls package, but to my disappointment i'm not able to
access that mx.controls package and when i forcefully use it the
compiler throws me an error, but when i create a new flex project
and create an asctionscript file, i'm able to access that
mx.controls package and also the ColorPicker class. Can anyone tell
me what the problem is?

I am having the same issue. I'm using Flex 3 and I cannot
access the mx.controls package in any actionscript project.

AIA 2.4 installation on 10.1.3.4 :Not able to deploy ESB specific projects

I am trying to install AIA2.4 over wls9.2.
I have done with installing soa suite 10.1.3.4 and all the weblogic patch work.
During running the Wl ant scripts for installing AIA foundation pack, I am not able to install ESB specific deployments.
when I checked into wls console, I come to know deployments "esbservices" and "esbservices-runtime" are in failed state.
when I checked the server logs it's showing the below error for both modules:

Hi,
Before Installing AIA check if all the URLS are accessible of your soa server like ESB, BPELConsole, EM.If there is some issue with that you might need to re run the installation to fix the same.

We are trying to deploy the Oracle Siebel PIP integration pack for Siebel OD. The SOA environment is clustered with a proxy and https enabled.
While deploying a BPEL process, we are getting the following error. Not able to figure out whats going wrong. Any help on this will be appreciated.

Not able to deploy Oracle RTD Inline Service

I have created a new RTD Inline service in eclipse by following : Creating an Inline Service - 11g Release 1 (11.1.1)
The section 2.7 Testing the Inline Service explains the deployment.

My decision service is working fine. Have checked the same in em and thru opmnctl.
Were you able to solve the error? If yes, please elaborate: How.
I extended OBIEE 11.1.1.7 both on Weblogic 10.3.5 and 10.3.6, but faced the same error at both the places.

Problem with OC4J:: not able to deploy map

hello
i have downloaded the OC4J stand alone.
Then i have run the oc4j START Script- it is running.
then went to browser and runhttp://localhost:8888/mapviewer to access its functions.
oracle application server MAP VIEWER starts and home page opens..
but I AM NOT ABLE TO ACTUALLY DEPLOY THE MAP??
i have also installed the demo database given in mvdemo.zip.
But actally i dont know how to link it to map viewer??
PLEASE HELP!!!!

contains a set of instructions to set up the mapviewer metadata and data sources once you've loaded the mvdemo.dmp data into a database.

Not able to deploy HPCM application

HPCM Error: Deploying HPCM Application from EPMA 'Action Aborted' [ID 1362743.1]but when changed boot.properties file its corrupting complete component. therefore i replaced the old boot.properties file
Any advice is really appreciated.

We are facing the same issue such as " Could not able to connect the Essbase server" when we tried to deploy the HPCM application to Essbase through workspace.
Please note that, we can able to see the HPCM application which we created in workspace successfully.Alos, validated with out errors.
Can I assume that, we need to configure the HPCM with new schema once again??

Not Able to deploy DC

Hi All,
I have created an application and tested it in the sandbox, it is working fine in this system, now I attached it to a DC, for transporting it in the Dev system, I checked in the DC and activated the activity I have created for this DC, now when I see the Activation Log, I can see Activation Status as succeeded and Deployment Status as failed.
I tried to create a WD IView for this application, a folder has been created for this activity but I am not able to see the Application in the sap.com folder.

Hi Amit,
In the Activation Request View, right-click ur activity, and click on
"Show Deployment Summary", this will open up browser, where u need to provide
the DTR Login details and the next page will show the information about the
Deployment Process.
Try to figure out, why the Deployment failed or give in selected Trace from the
page where u think the problem is.

Not able to deploy to register my mapping with OEM

I am new to data ware housing.Iam using oracle9i warehouse builder.I created a source,target and mapping between these two using mapping editor.Then I have generated scripts bot not able to make OEM register.When I click the button "OEM register", it give 2 error messages.
1. Specified Connection is not a valid Run time schema
2. Please Make sure OEM Client installed locally or enter correct OMS domain domain in the configuration parameter.
I know that some parameter should be set in preference dialog box but no idea how to set that.
Can anyone help regarding this.

created a project with following structure

Created a map between these 2 and named it "MyMapping".After successfully generating code for the map, "GenerationReults[succeed]" Dialog box opened.But Deploy and Run button are disabled so I tried clicking OEM Register button to get the following error message even after setting preference values.
Please tell me how to make those buttons enabled.Is there another way.

Not able to deploy mapping from one schema location to another

When I am trying to deploy a mapping from a source schema to another target schema, i am not able to do so even though the deployment of the connector is also successfull.
Can somebody help in this regards.

Hi,
did you grant the select permission of the objects from your source location to the target user? You must do this direct on the database because you cannot do this with the owb.
