CIC Locator Status

How can I reduce the number of "Status" that appear on the winclient's CIC Locator?
I have more than 200 status on the dropdown list: Open, In Process, ...
I know that for the "Status" list that appears on transaction CRMD_ORDER, I can go to transaction SM30 in the maintenance view CRMV_STATUS_PROC, and maintain the "status".
How can I choose the status to display on the cic's locator?

Hi,
filtering the status by customizing is not possible. The dropdown list
displays all possible status of the activity.
If you like to do a program modification, the best would be in
LCRM_LOCATOR_UIF05. Here in FORM f4_status_set, the status for the
drop down list are determined and had to be modified by you.

Hi,
we need to integrate R/3 orders into the CIC Locator BDD View.
The problem is that the orders where not synchronized with our CRM system, so I need to create a separate search help, do to a search in R/3!
I think I have no way to integrate my searchhelp without modification, or is there another way, maybe without mod?
Is there anybody out there facing a similar request?

No Way to Update Location Status on FaceBook via VZ Navigator on Droid X?!!

I just upgraded to a Droid X from an HTC Imagio and have a question regarding the VZ Navigator software on the Droid X. On my Imagio, the VZ Navigator had an option to update your location status on FaceBook so that after you arrived at your destination, you could post the address where you were on your FaceBook page. I cannot find any such option in the VZ Navigator software I installed on my Droid X (yes, it was specifically listed as being only for the Droid X!); I can only find the option to share your location with someone else by sending it to their e-mail address. Am I missing something here? Is that just not possible on the Droid X? I liked to do that as I drive a tractor-trailer for a living and my family members on FaceBook could see where I was most of the time!
Please correct me if I am wrong!

I was wondering if you have looked at Google Latitude (preloaded on the Droid X - App name is 'Latitude') This will give your family more real time updates on where you are located, instead of having to wait for you to update your facebook page. You can control which people have access to your information.
My dad drove truck for a living for 27 years, and retired about 9 years ago, so I know what its like for your family to wonder where you at at different times.
I know that this doesn't answer your question, but just wanted to let you know that there are alternatives to help solve your problem.

Locator Status and Item Status

Business is using locator status as well as stock status. Under an active locator stock can be inactive.
E.g. Under active locator A, stock X can be inactive
Under active locator B, stock X can be active
But in Oracle we can have only locator status. Is there any workaround to achieve the requirement.
We have suggested that when stock is active or inactive change the locator status to active or inactive respectively. But there is manual intervention to bring the actual locator status.

You must have selected Delivery completed option in item detail before you delete line item.
Just check in item detail delivery tab.
Also, what do you see for the following fields of status tab in header?
Ordered
Delivered
Still to deliv.

9971 SIP Phones at remote location status REJECTED

Hi,
I have 10 locations, Site 1, 2, ....10. All these locations have 10 phones each. These phone are configured with default SIP Profile. Were registered and working fine. While adding a subscriber I downgraded the cluster. After bringing back to regular version. I find all my phones status shows unknown.
I tried to change dhcp option 150 on dhcp router to point different server and reconfigured with the correct tftp ip address. Also I tried to shutdown the interface where phones are connected and bring it back up. Restarted tftp server many times. Even after all these I find my phones in REJECTED state.
I know personal reset on each phone will fix this issue. But is there any other way to fix this, since these phones are at remote locations.
Any help is appreciated.

I think, that the most possible issue is problem with CTL/ITL.
Certificates were regenerated while downgrading/upgrading and were not propagated to the phones.
So u should try to delete ITL on the phones.

IPad can no longer find my Current (home) Location.

Ever since returning home to Dubrovnik,Croatia (via Frankfurt Airport) my iPad still thinks Frankfurt is my Current location!
I can see from my Maps that it is centred on the airport there.
How do I re-set my iPad to recognise my real location as it obviously doesn't plan to do it automatically - I've been home over 4 days!

Never was very good at "wait & see" so decided to try something!
Disconnected home Router.
Removed all Apps from iPad (not iTunes) calling for Location status.
Disabled Location Services - iPad Settings.
Shut down iPad and restarted.
Re-installed removed Apps from PC (iTunes).
Shut down iPad and restarted.
Re-connected Router.
Enabled Location Services.
Current Location found!!
It is of course entirely possible this operation coincided with the natural re-location process but I have my doubts!

Fru Operational Status "MB/SC", Definition Please

i ran a 'prtdiag -v' on a Sunfire V240 and the results showed "MB/SC" faulty.... what does that mean?
(Additionally, there is a flashing amber light on the front of the server... i'm guessing these are associated?)

My first thought would suggest that you inspect the MotherBoard, which some might name as the SystemController.
Is the System Configuration Card fully seated into its slot?
Perhaps you could use your service contract and open a support case with Sun. If hardware components have failed, the support case would be how you would get them replaced.

So far all is going well except that my animatate gif keeps refreshing everything the page is refresh.
Is there a way the i can prevent the body of the page from refreshing?

After updating on my mac - I cannot open various password protected pages - like my WordPress site. I can open them from Safari and from Firefox on my windows pc.

If I remove the password protection the page opens correctly in FF.
I have cleared the FF cache and cookies several times, No change
I have modified the wp-pass.php file several suggested ways related to the referrer and nothing solves the issue.

SAP SCM F&R , not all the steps of dispatcher profile are executed.

We are currently using SCM F&R 5.0 and facing issues when we try to process the location.
Of the 13 steps of dispatcher profile, (details given below), first four show the status as OK and fifth one "errors" out. Rest of them have status as "Initial".
To process the location, we are using the report - /FRE/UI_FRP_PROCESS_LOCATION.
Do let me know if anyone has come across this issue, any input would be appreciated.
Also do advice, where we can see the detail log. As in location status, it only display the status ,ie, "Error", Initial" , "OK".
Details of the steps are as mentioned below:
Sequence 1 -- collect information data for the F&R Processor (MN_AND_TECH_SYNC)
        task 1 -- create location data (CREATE_LOCATION_ENVIRONMENT)

Creating new records while querying existing record

Hi,
I have one master - detail form.
First i created 1 record. Request ID is the primary key. Now request id generated. For ex.: 10
Request Id, date, requestor , location, status fields are in header block.
In lines block, i hv some other fields.. and one field called 'Activity'.
While creating first record, the activity will be 'New'.
Then i'll query the record '10'.
when i'm changing the activity 'New' into 'Upgrade', it should create new record with new request ID.
How to do this?
I hv written procedure that, i'm taking field values to local variables. Then assigning the local variable values to field values.
It is not creating as new record. It overwriting the existing record with new values. Existing record is missing.
Pl. give steps.

Hi,
Okk, you will have to do two things. Create two trigger on block level on which you want to do your changes.
1. First trigger. (PRE-UPDATE)
In pre-update trigger u will have to write the complete insert statement into the same table with new req id. like
DECLARE

SELECT MAX(REQ_ID)

FROM your_table;
INSERT INTO your_table

2. Create 2nd trigger on block level (ON-UPDATE)
write in this trigger
NULL;
for viewing the inserted record. What u have to do is in ON-UPDATE after null; create one timer NO_REAPEAT.
and in timer u will have to set the block property to req_id = generated_req_id_from_pre_update_trigger and
execute_query;

SAP F&R - Order Proposals not getting generated

Hi Experts,
I am currently on SCM 5.0 system. For a location-product on uploading the consumption data, the forecast gets generated but no Order Proposals are getting generated at all. When I look at the Source of Supply, the delivery dates for the location-product are appropriately displayed.
The scenario is basically Vendor -> DC -> Store i.e. V111 -> R601 -> R611 for the product FR11. The time series of supplying location is displayed for FR11-R611 in CADE while FR11-R601 is not displayed. I suppose, this may be, why the OPs are not getting generated. How do we generate time series for FR11-R601 i.e. for V111 (vendor) ?
Also, When i try to run a location status check on R611, /FRE/FU_CL_FRP_SAFOUT_CRIT comes out with a fatal error with the remaining others in an INITIAL state. How do we resolve this issue.

Hi,
I was able to solve both the issues with a change in the Forecasting Frequency profiles where the reference day for start week was on "FRP Location Activation Date". I changed it to Calendar date and checked the forecast and it worked with the Order proposals also generating. Also, the location status check out for the mentioned location was in "OK" state.
Also, a second methodology applied to overcome the problem was to go to SAP Menu -> F&R Processor -> Administration, from there go to the location tab where the locations had a deactivation date of 31.12.2009. I extended the date and then there was no need to change the forecasting frequency profiles.
