CIF Error in APO SMQ2

Does anyone know what this error is?
Order type B Order number 0084046447 Method
Message no. /SAPAPO/RRP501
I also see this:
A table entry already exists with this secondary key
Message no. /SAPAPO/OM_ERROR215
Diagnosis
An application program called an LCA routine. This led to an error.
Thanks
Rob

Hi Robert,
What type of order is this? sales or purchase?
For the live cache consistency check, first use OM17 and remove/correct inconsistencies. Also check the temporary quantity assignments using AC06. You must not see any order number with "unknow" status. If it is, delete those entries.
Then try to activate / initialize your integration model.

  • Viewing CIF errors in SMQ2 - Technical - ABAP

Hello All - I am CIFing the Master data from ECC to APO and i am getting the error. I was debugging the CIF from SMQ2 and i donot see any issue in the code but i am still getting the error in SMQ2 and i could not see the complete error message in SMQ2.Because of the limited space for the field Status  in SMQ2.
My question is there any way to read/view the entire message in QRFC ? What is the Tcode ?  or Where can i see the CIF error messages in APO..
    Appreciate your help.
    Thanks,
    Venky.
    Edited by: GVP2011 on Mar 21, 2011 3:42 AM

    Hi Venky,
You can see the CIF error messages in /SAPAPO/C3 transaction in APO and CFG1 in ECC.Here you can directly enter the External ID from SMQ2 or you can see all the error messages via Object "CIFSCM".
I hope this will help you.

  • CIF Error while transferring vendor

We are facing CIF error while transferring vendor master to APO.
The issue is in e-mail address of the vendor master.
One way is to correct the e-mail addresses - one per line without semicolon at the end.
But the issue list is very huge to get it corrected.
Is there any other way by which we can exculde the e-mail addresses or its validation?
    Thanks and regards,
    Sushant

    Hi Senthil,
The objective was to avoid CIF error due to incorrect address setup. This required us bypass it before data transfer. We could fix this using enhancement in ECC.
Apreciate your kind reply, though. Thanks a lot.
    Warm regards,
    Sushant

  • CIF errors due to material status

    Hi All,
We are having lot of CIF errors due to material status "40" in CIF, which restrict creation of P.reqs and PO at source location.
Eg:- LOC1 is a manufacturing location and LOC2 is a Distribution centre. A new Product A introduced at both location, having status status "40" at both the location.
When APO creates P.Reqs with source as LOC1 and Destination as LOC2 for this product, these p.reqs get stuck in CIF queue, as plant specific status "40" doesn't allow creation of P.Reqs at LOC1 in ECC.
We thought of creating a new status "Z1", which would allow the creation of P.Reqs and PO. But the requirement was to allow only creation of P.Reqs and not PO. But in the config setting in ECC for material status there is common setting for P.Reqs and PO and cannot be differentiated.
Have anybody come across such problem and whats the way to address this issue.
    Thanks & Regards
    Shankar

    Hi Shankar,
Please check list of enahncements  in SMOD transaction. The enhacements related to Purchase documents start with "CIFPUR.."
Or other path in SPRO is as below:
In the ERP system under Integration with Other SAP Components >> Advanced Planning and Optimization >> Application-Specific Settings and Enhancements >>Settings and Enhancements for External Procurement.
Because of the  blocked status of the material ,while transferring the PR/PO data,  the CIF prrogram -function call  for creating the purchasing document does not get triggered.   As written in earlier mail, the enhancement on SAP ECC  inbound  may not help, because, the material status is picked up from ECC ( or SAP R/3) material master data  and not  taken  from APO.
Neverthless, you may please have a look at these enhancements.
I hope this gives insight to you.
    Regards

  • CIF ERROR ;Address incomplete; enter country

    Hi Experts
when im trying to cif Material or customer  im getting below error
CIF ERROR ;Address incomplete; enter country
    Please suggest ?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
As was mentioned by the expert this is not an error related to the material master. Something that you have in the addess in your customer is missing in APO.
First try to identify what is the customer that is generating the issue. Then check the customer in ECC and review your customizing in APO and ensure you have the country codes and Regions maintained in APO.
SPRO --> SAP NetWeaver --> General Settings --> Set Countries:
    --> Insert Regions
    --> Define Country Codes
    Kind Regards,

  • CIF - error handling and maintance

    Hi sap gures
please let me know  how to handle CIF errors and how to maintain and support the CIF in the production
    supporting project
    please help me
    Regards
    R.suresh Kumar

    Hi Suresh,
It is very vital and sensitive to maintain and control cif error
handling.  You need to monitor very frequently system for
queue accumulation which leads to lot of errors in system and
affects performance.  Controlled monitoring and taking quick
actions will make your life ease.
Also periodically carry out consistency checks to avoid
difference of transactional data between systems as per
    recommendations.
Check the CIF job logs in case of any failures and take
    necessary actions to avoid recurrence

  • Part# aaa, plant HHH not CIF from regional apo to global APO

Part# aaa, plant HHH not CIF from regional apo to global APO
    How too checkk..........

    Hi Prem,
What is the business scenario for the implementation. What are the modules planned for implementation.
The way customer is handled in APO can be different from that in ERP or R/3. I am assuming customer is required for Sales Order and also for Demand Management.
In such a case - APO Demand Planning module will be relevant for Demand Management function. However the architecture and design of DP is completely different from R/3 Demand Management.
The Master Data in APO DP is a Characteristic-Value-Combination (commonly called CVC) which is an unique planning combination. The Customer can be a Characteristic of the Planning Combination along with Product/Material and other characteristics in Product dimension like Major Category, Product Division and also Customer dimension like Sales Office, Region etc.
Now for this you DO NOT need customer master dat to be transferred from R/3 to APO. This is because to generate CVCs you just need the "value" of customer characteristic like say Walmart, Best Buy etc. and not the actual Master Data (XD03 in R/3).
Likewise your Sales History in APO is typically stored in Infocubes (APO-BW) having a similar Planning Combination or CVC as below
    ProductA-Walmart-Major Category1-Division1-Sales Office NE-North Region-100-EA-10012007.
Such a record in the Infocube defines a Customer Order (Sales Order) of 100 quantity with requirement date 10 Jan 2007.
For this you do not need with the Material Master or the Customer Master created in APO.
However if you plan to use Supply Network Planning in APO then you would need the relevant Master Data like Location-Products. But in SNP you may not be interested at the customer level information but at the Distribution Centers - which anyway will be Plants in R/3 with Node type DC which transferred to APO creates location of type 1002 - DC.
Hope this helps. If it has not then feel free to post your queries with more details.
    Thanks,
    Somnath

  • CIF Inbound error in APO

    Hello Guru,
May am trying to CIF and activate a plant from R/3 to APO via, doing in R/3 rimodgen and rimodac the result in APO is error in SMQ2 (Inbound queue) saying ::023 XXXX Production Plant, or message no. Message no. SR053
Hope you can help me resolve this APO error.
    Thanks

    Totchiki,
Pretty self explanatory.  The address that is moved over with the plant contains basic configuration data that does not exist in your SCM system.
Configuration of Regions in SCM are found at OVK2.  Configuration for Regions in ERP are found in the same transaction.  Ideally, you would like these two to be identical for both systems.  At a bare minimum, though, the regions that are contained in every address transferred across to SCM must exist in the SCM configuration.  Add the regions to SCM that the error messages tell you are undefined.

  • CIF Error: Setup group/key 10000427 does not exist

    Dear CIF-Specialists,
We observed a problem on the integration between APO and R/3.
If we want to send PPM's from R/3 to APO we have the following error-message: "Setup group/key 10000427 does not exist".
Transaction CFM1 (Create Integration Modell) ==> No problem
Transaction CFM2 (Activate Integration Modell) ==> Error!
We don't use setup groups or keys in our operations but we have created the setup keys in APO and R/3 (Transaction: /SAPAPO/CDPSC6 and OP43).
As we don't have keys in the PPM's it is normal that they don't exists.
Do you have an idea where we have to set theses Setup keys?
Can you give us an indication how we could resolve this problem?
    Thank you.
    Best regards,
    Thomas

    Dear Sharath,
    Thank you for your reply.
We dont't have setup key or group maintained in this receipt. This is the strange part on this problem.
Why does it search for a setup key if we don't want to transfer it?
I checked also the setup-keys in APO and R/3 and they are the same.
We did a copy of the test-system (where the problem occurs) some days ago. Is there a table in APO where it could have some old entries about this?
    Thank you for your help.

  • CIF Error - FM /SAPAPO/CIF_PROD_INBOUND not found

    Hi Experts,
I am configuring CIF on a fresh ECC & APO system, I have made the required configurations, but when i am trying to CIF the Location-Product, it failed
The blocked queue gave the termination message with :-
    Function Module / SAPAPO/CIF_PROD_INBOUND not found  &
Function Module / SAPAPO/CIF_GEN_EVENT not found
When I checked the result on the APO side, to my surprise, I am able to see the Locations getting created but no product.
    Please suggest.
    Regards
    Manu

    Manu,
You can suppose anything you wish.  Better, though, to actually find out.  The userid I am talking about is the userid found in your ERP-to-SCM RFC connection, which is determined by YOUR company.  I cannot say if the userid is RFCUSER since I have no access to your system.
So, in ERP, SM59 > select ABAP connections > select the RFC connection used to connect to your SCM system.  Under the Logon & Security tab will be the name of the Userid that core interface will be using to 'talk' to SCM.  Write down this userid.
Now log onto SCM, and do SU01 on that userid.  Review his authorizations. It is OK to assign SAP_ALL to this userid for development purposes as a temporary measure.  Probably a good idea to make him 'dialogue' as well until all of your interface debugging is done.
In order to determine errors with interface, refer to the logs in SCM.  In SCM, SLG1 > Object CIF, everything else all asterisks, select a suitable date range.  If you see no logs, you probably need to turn on logging  /SAPAPO/C4
I strongly recommend that you thoroughly read the 2 documents I posted earlier.  If this is your first try at connecting an ERP to an SCM system,  the time will be well spent.

  • Resolution of /SAPAPO/TSM207 errors in APO SNP planning

I am using APO V5.1 connected to a SAP ECC system.
When I CIF across a new product to APO and use it for the first time in SNP interactive planning I get error /SAPAPO/TSM207, because of missing time series objects.
The SAP recommendation in the error help text suggests to either re initialise the planning area, or to use pgm /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_PLOB_DELTA_SYNC. But I can only resolve the problem via the former approach (ie to re initialise the planning area). The use of /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_PLOB_DELTA_SYNC does not resolve the problem.
    Is this expected behaviour?
What exactly is /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_PLOB_DELTA_SYNC designed to do?
If I look at help.sap.com for SCM 7 I see mention of a transaction /SAPAPO/TSINIT, which can be used as a 'delta' planning area re initialisation. But I do not see this transaction in APO V5.1 - so is this a new transaction in APO 7?
Thanks for any advice on this...

    Hi,
Please refer to he note 402046 which explains this.Eventhough the note validity is not for your release ,but the conent of
note is still valid to all releases.

  • CIF Error Resource transfer

    HI,
During the initial transfer of the resource, i have an error "the external capacity header data for the resource is empty". i have debugged and found that the capacity table is empty..
i checked the resource in R3 and found that all the capacity related info and the capctiy profile has all the valid data() in it. it is not getting transferred to APO..any reason for this..

    Hi
Check the CIF application log which will take you to the right direction
    for your analysis
Check the master data of the resource whether maintained correctly
in all respects (especially the APO resource tab fields)
Check the operation times & capacity fields are maintained correctly
Check the customisation settings in CFC9 as nanda mentioned
Check is there any struck inbound/outbound queues/sysfails etc.,
