CIF_ORDER_INBOUND_30A

Hi Experts,
I am using BABI: BAPI_MOSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3 to create planned orders manually in CTM, everthing is working fine, but in the SCM queue it always encountered with a error
CIF_ORDER_INBOUND_30A, this erros does't harm anything to the flow of planned order between R/3 and APO.
But techically we want to get ride out this messsage which halts in the queue.
I searched SAP notes which is given for the earlier versions and our system is SCM 5.0.
I appreciate if experts thers suggestions and tips to over come this problem.
Regards,
Babu

This is not an error, this is the function module.  To find the error, go to the CIF cockpit (/SAPAPO/CC) and select the queue that is going to your R/3 client.  You should see the failed queue.  Check the message text.
In our system, this error usually is authorization related.  The USERID that is trying to invoke the R/3 transaction does not have adequate authority to perform the action.
Unless you have 'trusted systems' set up, the USERID that you need to fix is the CIF USERID.  Your basis guys should be able to tell you the USERID by looking in SM59.

  • Getting an error in CIF Inbound queue:"Only 0 decimal places are permitted for unit of measure PC"

    Hi,
I am getting an error in CIF Inbound queue (function: CIF_ORDER_INBOUND_30A). The error text says "Only 0 decimal places are permitted for unit of measure PC".
Can anyone point out the solution to resolve this error? It would be a big help for me as I am new to APO and so getting difficult to find a clue for it.
    Thanks.

    Hi Mansi,
Please check the cif queue you will get the order number from that order number you can find out material code. Then check the material master unit of measure in MM03 you have used some alternative unit of measure and system is unable to convert order to  alternative unit of measure because of decimal setting. If you go to CUNI and check the unit if measure PC it is not permitted for decimal places. If you need decimal than change the UoMof Material and use diff UoM or allow the decimal for PC which is not good practice.
