CIF: Procurement data

Hi All:
I have an active integration model for Inforecords, Schedule agreements and Vendors. I can see newly transfered Vendors but nothing shows up in T.code /SAPAPO/PWBSRC1- for procurement relationships. Also when I check the SCE I could only add Vendors manually, no T-lanes were generated automatically.
Your help requested.
Thank you
Mono

Hi,
Transferring just Purchase Info records doesnot create a transportation lane automatically. YOu also need to CIF scheduling agreements and contracts(if any).
See <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm40/helpdata/en/d4/56ef1a5572544081619a5f87f4055e/frameset.htm">Automatic Creation of Transportation Lanes</a>
Regarding only 20 vendors got transferred, any errors?..not sure about this. what kind of vendor is it? purchasing, central....?
Hope this helps.

  • Not able to cif transiton data from APO to R/3 and from R/3 to APO

    Hi:
I have made all relevant setting as per required for configuration of cif architecture in R/3 and in APO.I am able to cif master data from R/3 to APO but when I am transferring Planned Order from APO to R/3 or Sales Order from R/3 to APO I am not able to tranfer it .Even I am not getting any blocked q.
Even I am able to access remote login to both system by RFC Connection.
Please let me know how to debug it and solve it.
    With Regards
    Ashish Gupta

    Hi Ashish,
Please try ciffing only one transactional data and then check on the application logs using t-code CFM1 or SLG1 in R/3 and /n/sapapo/c3 & slg1 in APO.  This will give you idea where is going on wrong.
    Kindly confirm

  • CIF - Master Data Transfer from ERP to SCM(SNC)

    Hi,
I am very new to SAP SCM.
Can anyone please provide me documentation links , helpful material for the CIF customization in SNC for Master Data Transfer.
e.g If I need to send a predefined value for Business Logical System from ERP to SAP SNC
i.e from ERP 1 to SNC ( Business Logical System ends with suffix 00 )
and  from ERP 2 to SNC ( Business Logical System ends with suffix 01 )
Where and how I can make these changes to reflect in my data sending.
    How I can achieve this.
    Please help.
    Best Regards

    Siddharth,
I assume when you say 'SNC' your are referring to Supply Network Collaboration. Here are some Best Practices Building blocks to get you started

  • Block CIF differentiating data objects

    Hello,
Following one of SAP recommendation, we are blocking the Inbound CIF Queues every time we run the SNP Optimizer in the active version. To do this, we are using the report /SAPAPO/CIFSTOPQUEUES. In this report it is necessary to use a Queue Name to be able to stop the queues and the RFC destination of APO in R/3.
The issue that we are trying to solve is we need to find a way to differentiate the data objects by their content, instead of blocking every CF*, because we donu2019t want to block the CIF Queues for all the Business Units implemented in the same APO Client.
For example, we need that the CIF Queues of the Business Unit A could be differentiated from the CIF Queues of the Business Unit B, so at the moment of blocking them we could use the differentiated queue name, affecting just the Business Unit related.
    Kind Regards.

    Hi ,
Unfortunately you can only block the transfer of transactional data at global level. There is no badi or exit available to change the name of CIF queue as they are system generated. So the scenario which you are trying to achieve to diiferentiate at business unit level by CIF queues is not feasible.
You can achieve it by dividing your planning run in batch mode (seperate planning run for different business unit selections) and strictly following the timings during whcih each BU users will be directed the time during which they can not do changes. While rest BU can do as you are sure that thier objects are not taken in the current planning run.
Instead of CF* queue blocks , you can go one step below by stopping the specific order type queues like CFSLS* (SO) , CIFPO(Purchase req and order) ,CIFSTK (stocks).
You can refer to the note 1228423 which clearly mentions the shortfalls of parallel APO planning run and online transfer.
So better to run the planning run operations at night :)..when load is less.

  • SKIP THE QUALITY IN PROCUREMENT IN CERTAIN CASE

    Dear SAPians,
My case is as follows :
    - We procure Material 'GUARSPLIT' and in Quality is activated along with the Procurement Data 'ACTIVE' with QM Control Key 'Z007' ( Certificate required, invoice block ) & Certificate Type 'YQ01' (Test certif. "2.2"  EN 10204).
    - We now want to get it crushed from a Contractor  'A'  PO is being made with the delivery address of contractor with the check of  SC box to make it Service contract.
    - Now when 'MIGO' is being done with moment type '101' , the System is responding that A Category YQ01 inspected Certificate is Required and we are unable to do the MIGO.
    - We want to do the MIGO in such a way that When we procure for Contractor 'A' the material should not come in Quality Stock & When we Procure it for our company 'IGL' By normal 103 & 105 then it must come thru Quality Inspection. The Quality will be activated in Material Mater in both cases & material code will be 'GUAR SPLIT' in both the cases.
    Thanks in advance.
    A.Mittal

    Dear Sujit,
Thnks for ur prompt reply. But as per your advised we cannot withdraw the 101 inspection lot creation as we are using some other scenarios where we required the inspection lot generation.
I Feel that i have to more clarify my scenario so that you may suggest a better solution. my scenario is as follows :-
We are procuring one material 'GUARSPLIT' from the Vendor 'A'. Material Master is having Inspection type '01' & Status 'Active'.
In QM Procurement Data section ... QM Procurement is Active & QM Control Key 'Z007' , Certificate Type 'YQ01' is set.
Now we want to give this material to a another vendor 'B' for grinding so we are making a PO where this Vendor 'B' is selected in Delivery Address and 'SC VEND' check box is selected.
Our requirement is that when we give this 'GUARSPLIT' to 'B' Vendor then no inspection lot should be generated. and when we recieved it at our company say 'ABC' then inspection lot must be generated.
Presently it is not happning & in 'B' Vendor case during MIGO it is showing error ' A Catagory YQ01 inspected certificate is Required' and we are unable to do the GR (MIGO) and inspection lot also not generated. On the other hand if we are taking it for our company address then no problem is coming. it is only coming if we are taking the Delivery Address of Vendor 'B'.
Please help me in this case.
    Regards.

  • ABOUT CIF'S

can any one explain the steps to transfer the data from r/3 to apo dp using CIF'S

In DP, we just use CIF for SCM master data (Product, Location) while the master data needed for DP (CVCs) is generated from sales information coming through BW cubes.
You donot need to CIF anything for planning in DP but in case you want to send it to R/3 or SNP, they need master data reference to linkup your transaction data that you want to transfer. Then you need to CIF your data.
For step by step information on how to CIF, look at the documentation in the following link in [SCM best practices.|http://help.sap.com/bp_scmv150/BBLibrary/HTML/BBLibrary_EN_DE.htm]
Click on replication and click on the Configuration Guide.
    Hope this helps.

  • CIF Queue gettign stuck in 'ready' state

    Hi,
I am facing a problem in using CIF functionality while transferrting Master data and transaction data from R/3 to APO.
I have selected inbound queue processing for APO system and have also registered the queue in APO.
But when I actually CIF any data, it gets stuck in the outbound queue of the R/3 system in 'Ready' state.
Then I always need to manually activate the queue in SMQ1 to transfer the data to APO.
The same thing happens during online transfer of transaction data.
I want the data to be transferred automatically rather tahn activating the CIF queue each time.
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Ameet

    Hi Ameet
    Please following setting.
    1. User setting
-R/3 T-CD CFC2 (For debuf Area, please check whether your user has "R" or not)
-APO T-CD /SAPAPO/C4 (For debug, please check whether your user has "R : debug on" or not)
    2. Queue scheduler setting in both system
    Inbound scheduler
T-CD SMQR please make sure whether you have inbound scheduler setting.
If there is not, you can create it by hitting Registration button.
"Registration" => Queue Name CF*, and lest of it can be leave as default.
    Outbound scheduler
    T-CD SMQS
Please make sure you have entry to your SCM system.
Type should be "R". If it is not R, outbound scheduler is not activated.
So please select entry and and hit registration button again. Then type will change
    to "R".
I hope this help your problem.

  • BI - SUS ( Self Service Procurement)

    Hello Everyone,
I am pulling the procurement data into BI from SRM 5.0, now the functional team is asking me to pull (SUS PO, SUS PO Respone, SUS ASN and SUS Invoice related information) from SUS information.
I checked the business content information from SRM and SUS, for both SAP has delivered the same datsources. I need to know, is anyone pulled the SUS data into BI ?? do you have any SAP delivered datatargets in BI??
    Please let me know.

  • R3 Transaction Data CIFed to APO

    Hi All,
In APO ,Master data CIFed from R3 is assigned to active model and active version. Similarly ,does transaction data transferred from R3 to APO have any model related to it.
In case if I transfer a PO from R3 to APO, does it get associated to any model.
    Regards
    Arun

    Hi Arun,
Model--> Model will have alll the master data
Vesrion--> version will have copy of all master data of assigned model & transactional data
    Active model & version is "000" & "000" respectively
under one model you can have many versions but out that only one can be active version. but master data for all the version would come from respective modle. it means master data will be remain common under one modle though version changes..
but you can plan whatever you want with inactive versions.
and again to transafer data from APO  to R/3 is possible only from active version. Soyou have to redo it whatever you simulated in simulation version in to active version. then this will talk with R/3
R/3 can talk with APO only with active version & activel model.......
Now once you CIF master data (plant , material..etc) will be moved to active model"000"
& transactional data will be CIFed to active verion of that model..means CIFed to active version"000"
But if ou want to work with other inactive model & inactive version..
copy version to version--->use versio copy transaction
    copy modle to model--> use /SAPAPO/MVM_SVC_CO_MOD_VERS & /SAPAPO/MVM_INT_SVC_CO_VER

    Hi
I hope you are getting the CIF ques when you are trying to CIF the data from APO---> ECC
In the first case, I think products status of is inactive for the given product or marked for deletion due to which the data is not getting transfer.
For the second material also will suggest to check the material master in ECC.
Both the issues are looks like with Material master. Please cross check the material master and correct it.
Please let us know if it help you or if you have any more doubts

  • Displaying data on a different level then the allocation check

    Hi
we are creating sales orders in R/3 and executing a sales order check based on a planning area in APO.
this check is done on Product / sold to, because that is the level where teh forecast is entered.
However, one sold to can contain different ship to's. so because of disagregation, it is randomly done over the ship to's.
What we want to obtain is that the when the allocation check is done and the orders is in APO via the CIF, the data is displayed on product sold to, ship to like in the sales order while the check to see if there is enough quantity can remain on product sold to.
    Do you have any ideas?
    Tommy

    Tommy,
    Please elaborate on your problem.
I assume you are talking about the Planning book used for Allocations; please confirm.  If the only CVCs in your Allocation planning book and your Product Allocation Group are 'Product' and 'Sold To', then 'ShipTo' (and ShipTo disaggregation) is irrelevant.  Product Allocation only considers the CVCs that have been created.  In this case, multiple ShipTos against a single SoldTo are 'first come first served' until the SoldTo Incoming Orders qty reaches the SoldTo Allocation Qty.
It is possible to include ShipTo in your Allocation Group and Allocation Planning Area in addition to SoldTo; this is a fairly common solution.  If you do so, you will THEN have to consider ShipTo Disaggregation issues.  Since this seems to be a negative issue for you, I would recommend against it.

  • Master data for APO

    Dear Experts
I want to learn apo, could you please guide me,how to start with APO,Ahich master i ahve to maintain Material Master Machine master etc...

    Raj

    Hi Mr Jindal.
There are many module in APO. DP,SNP,GATP,PPDS
For DP(Demand planning) following link would be of you help
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm40/helpdata/en/8f/9d6937089c2556e10000009b38f889/frameset.htm
Regarding Master data in DP,there is only one master data that is CVC. (charateristic combination Values)
    For SNP.
In case of SNP Master data
We cif the data (means transfer the data from ECC R/3 System using Core interface)
First we CIF Plant, then Work Centre, then Material,BOM and Routing.
There after we maintain transportion lane and assign this all to version and models
Link for the study material is

  • Send BOM components to APO regardless of the key explosion date.

Hi, SAP gurus, there is an issue I would like to share with you and ask for advice.
A production plant can precisely plan material usage. A BOM is created in advance and the following components are  listed (it's just an example)
    item 0100 Material A q-ty 1000 EA valid form 01.03.2009 valid unitl 31.07.2009
    item 0100 Material B q-ty 1000 EA valid from 01.08.2009 valid until 31.20.2009
Basically Material B replaces Material A. The BOM is maintained using change management.
A Production Version (only 1 exists) using this BOM alternative.
My question is how to CIF the data so that the PPM includes both components with their appropriate validities, so APO to plan orders till 31.07.2009 with material A and orders from 01.08.2009 with material B.
In the IntModel for PPMs there is an option which allows me to select the explosion date. but as this date is only one, no matter what I select it will transfer only one component. The one that is valid as per that date.
I have read a thread here and checked SAP note 453198, but the comments are not encouraging.
I have tried with CPF3, but as the BOM is created in advance, the system provides a message that no master data changes exist - transfer has not taken place.
Have anyone come to this issue? Is there a suitable Uexit to use and how?
Your hel will be greatly appreciated.
    BR
    Ivan

    Hi Evan,
If I understand your requirement, If you run the planning run at factory, you want the system to create planned orders until with 31.07.2009 based on BOM1 with material A and planned orders after 01.08.2009 with BOM2 based on material B. Is that right?
I have a suggestion for you: You can create two BOMs with the material A valid from today till 31.07.2009 and material B valid from today till may be 31.12.9999 ( or any date in future you wish).
Then create 2 different versions one with BOM1 and other with BOM2. CIF them to create 2 different PPMs.
Now go to quota arrangements ( transaction /sapapo/scc_tq1), create two quota arrangements for the material with PPM1 valid from today till 31.07.2009 and PPM2 valid from 01.08.2009 till then end. This will create orders in the system with both BOMs.
Please let me know if this proposal works for you.

  • Line items are missing during transferring ITS to EBP--tricky problem

    Hi,
We are using EBP 2.0 version.
Some shopping carts line items are missing while transferring shopping cart data from ITS to EBP.
This is happening randomly.we had checked all the shoppping cart related tables in EBP.
For example in my shooping cart 4 items are there, during transferring shopping cart data from ITS to EBP all 4 items are updating for all the shopping cart related tables except account assignment table.
In account assignment table for this particular shopping cart only 3 items are updated except first one.
This is happening randomly for few of the shopping carts that too most of the cases first  item of  the shopping cart was not updating reqacct table(this is account assignment table for shooping cart items).
I have debugged entire scenario, but i couldn't find the problem.
any one could you please advise me....why this is happening?whether it is a version problem?
    Thanks,
    Ravi

    Hello Ravi,
I guess you already checked OSS notes for this.
Have you checked in the area of ITS ?
When ITS sends data to EBP, only the actual screen data is sent:
    - item procurement data from basic data
    - item accounting data from accountig tab
then this data is used to update the SC.
If you have debugged those 2 screens, you should see what is happening.
You say that only 3 reqacct lines are updated: does it means that you have the 4 lines previously created, or only 3 ?
If you change one line item quantity, you should see this updating the reqacct. Same if you go directly in accounting tab.
    Finally, there are two options:
    - this is an ABAP error, so you should catch it in debug
    - this is an infrastrucute error (ITS is not sending the data), so you should get the data sent by ITS in debug mode
Sometimes in productive environment with an heavy loaded ITS, you can loose some data. Available memory is not enough to fill in correctly ITS session containers.
