CIF Queue Error

Dear All
After transfering the data from R/3 to APO system it going in error mode as show in transaction code /N/SAPAPO/CQ. But after selecting and activating the , it is clear and updating the APO Tables. Can it be automatic, please suggest the solution ?

Hi Vimal,
Check on the following lines.
1) Check Distribution definition & object specific settings are made under
APO customisation
2) Check the performance of livecache using basis team
3) Carry out /sapapo/ccr for the transactional data which is often
getting struck
4) Check whether any sysfails/errors/queues struck in the system,
study the application logs and take corrective action and then
retransfer and check
5) If the above points did not resolve your query, mention the
error you are facing

  • CIF queues - Lock not possible error in application log

    hi,
    Below is the application error log from SLG1
    Looks when R3 is sent CIF queue, could not be processed at APO, due to lock not possible. It looks, the object is already locked.
    This happens only certain hours only. We searched in batch jobs etc across landscape, but no luck.
    We are currently checking, if this could be due to some issues with LiveCache processing.
    Any input would be helpful.
    SLG1 - Application log errror:
    Source system: sapapp80 user: R3CIFRFC transaction: function module: /SAPAPO/CIF_CLAF_INB

    Pls check the table CIF_IMOD details in R3 System,if 2 IM running with the same object we use to get these kind of
    locking issue.
    also check the workprocesses details during those time. whether you have enough space to process the reqd the
    t-data.

    Hi,
    Many a times, you see the reason in the error itself.
    For example., you may see the error "Integration model not active for material XXX in Plant YYYY".
    For finding the root cause , you will have to study the related processes in detail( how the process is performed in SAP ECC or APO).
    From experience, the majoirty cause of the errors could be attirbuted to 1. Master Data Errors, 2. job / process failures 3. Bugs
    Please refer to OSS note 563806 ( FAQ: APO CIF) , which is gives a very good insight in CIF issues, best practices etc.

    When we transfer material master data from R/3 to APO then data is not updating in APO system.Could you please let me know the steps to debug CIF queue while transferring data from R/3 to APO.

    Hi Mohit,
    On a functional perspective, if you need to debut the queue, goto
    smq1 and smq2 transactions (in APO or in R/3 based on where the
    error lies) and execute it, you will get the list of queues under error.
    If there are sysfails, double click on it by keeping the cursor on the
    queue name and keep clicking it so that the entire LUW will gets
    opened and you can see the error information.
    For viewing the detailed log of the error, use transactions
    slg1, cfg1.

  • CIF queue monitoring and alerting

    Hi Gurus,
    Is there any way we can have automatic monitoring of number of CIF queues .i.e if the CIF queues goes beyond a certain number, then I should get an email alert.
    Or if I can get the alert configuration for number of entries in SMQ1 or SMQ2, it'll be great.

    Hi Surendra,
    I believe your APO Basis team might have an answer for the question.
    And in case you are talking about the post processing errors, you can use the transaction/SAPAPO/CPPA. Even using this, will not tell you the number of post processing queues, but, its capable to telling you the number of users that initiated the queues. This transaction is capable of sending an email and by varying settings, it sends the number of messages equal to number of initiators of the queues.
    Else, as already suggested, writing a report would be the option.

  • CIF Queue manual reservations are failing

    I'm facing new challenge in production system, only the manual reservations (which is having more line items) from ECC system is always getting failed in CIF queue in production system. But the same issue not available in test systems. Pls advise.

    I am having some queries on CIF queues...
    > I am getting below SYSFAIL error in outbound queues at APO Side.
    I can see that error text as " Material status does not allow a planned independent " . But there is no material number in the error text. So i double clikced the queue again. then i get the below screen which gives information about LUW , whichj is very very long ....
    Q1. How to know the material number in this particular queue ? I have posted the same question in previous post and i got reply that u need to keep clicking the queue until u find material number. I have done the same , but i didnt find any material number. I was getting this LUW Information , which is very long and it is in digital coding .

    Ans: Please follow below steps
    SMQ1/SMQ2 --> double click on queue name ---> again double click on queue name ---> again double click on queue name.
    You will reach on a screen with heading , here you will be able to see material name and other information;

    ANS: This will depend on the error message you are getting under status column, if this is due to some temporary reasons, then you can try executing by pressing execute button , or you might need to delete the queue ---> remove reason of sysfail ---> regenerate the queue.

    ANS: Queues are getting created whenever you transfer some data from one system to another, if there is some issue then the queue doesn't get cleared, it gets stuck.
    If you are sending data from ECC to APO then it creates outbound queue in ECC and if it gets cleared then an Inbound queue in APO.

    Sounds like you switched backends on the CRM system.  You can only have one ERP backend connected to a CRM system, in a normal typical landscape without special customizing.
    You may also had a system that was copied from the original backend that is now trying to send bdocs to your crm system.  Can you tell us a little more about your system landscape and we can then see what needs to be done?

  • CIF 168 error .. Data in apo is correct

       I am getting the CIF 168 error:-
    Status of order in R/3 on General tab of Co03 :-
      Total Quantity: 946
      Delivered Quantity: 685
    In rrp3 view in APO:
       there is the production order with receipt quantity 261
    Error Details:-
    =========================================================================
    Released Order NO 3132262. Difference in total Quantity. 261(APO) <---> 946 (R/3)
    Total Quantity in APO: 261
    Total Quantity in R/3 : 946
    To rectify the error retransfer the order from R/3 to APO
    =========================================================================
    actually total quantity in APO should be compared with 946 - 685 = 261 in R/3.
    Can anybody suggest how to rectify this error.

  • CIF Queue gettign stuck in 'ready' state

    Hi,
    I am facing a problem in using CIF functionality while transferrting Master data and transaction data from R/3 to APO.
    I have selected inbound queue processing for APO system and have also registered the queue in APO.
    But when I actually CIF any data, it gets stuck in the outbound queue of the R/3 system in 'Ready' state.
    Then I always need to manually activate the queue in SMQ1 to transfer the data to APO.
    The same thing happens during online transfer of transaction data.
    I want the data to be transferred automatically rather tahn activating the CIF queue each time.
    Please help.

    Please following setting.
    1. User setting
    -R/3 T-CD CFC2 (For debuf Area, please check whether your user has "R" or not)
    -APO T-CD /SAPAPO/C4 (For debug, please check whether your user has "R : debug on" or not)
    2. Queue scheduler setting in both system
    Inbound scheduler
    T-CD SMQR please make sure whether you have inbound scheduler setting.
    If there is not, you can create it by hitting Registration button.
    "Registration" => Queue Name CF*, and lest of it can be leave as default.
    Outbound scheduler
    T-CD SMQS
    Please make sure you have entry to your SCM system.
    Type should be "R". If it is not R, outbound scheduler is not activated.
    So please select entry and and hit registration button again. Then type will change
    to "R".

    1. A Message gets stuck in the QUEUE of ECC system
    2. The ID has errors like the Receiver Determination has errors.
    How can we trigger the Alerts and see them in Our Alert Inbox .

    For runtime errors , you can trigger an alert.
    I don't think so, it is possible to trigger an alert when message is stuck in Queue, but if you get any error either system error or application error then you can trigger an alert.

    It's all about setting up what ever version of windows you have running on your pc to share the printer. If you still get stuck post in a windows forum for help.

    No difference if the volume is in a cluster or not.
    The users receive no error messages, only the log grows bigger.
    I migrated from OES2SP3 to OES11SP2 : message (2) was already present before the migration, and message (1) is new after migration.
    I have reset cifs and NSS settings to standards, but no changes.
