Cineware Footage Duration not Updating

I'm working with Cineware for the first time, directly importing a Cinema 4D project and going back and forth. The thing that's not working for me is when I change the duration of my Cinema 4D project (by adjusting the 'Maximum Time' property of the Project Settings attributes) and save, when I return to After Effects, the new duration isn't reflected in the existing C4D footage file. I tried a test using a blank C4D project and this worked correctly, but I've somehow done something to break it in my current project files. The C4D file according to AE is still only 121 frames long, when it should be 390.
Any ideas? Anyone else run into this?

For the record: I solved this by just creating a new Cinema project from within AE, testing that it would reflect the new longer duration without any content. Then I just copied and pasted all the content from the original project that wasn't working and all is good now.
Seems like there are just some little bugs remaining with Cineware integration, seeing as it's so new.

  • Details Item : Service duration was not updated

    Hi everyone,
When creating a service request, we have a green alert saying "Details Item 10: Service duration was not updated".
We assume this has an impact on the process of service request but after customizing date profile for header and item it does not solve our problem.
Has someone would have faced the same issue and would know what's the solution?
    Thanks,
    Anaïs

    Hello Rashmi,
Thank you for your answer. That was exactly what I was looking for.
Would you be able to give me more explenations of the usage of this customizing?
If I get it right, service and response profile is used for default product 'Investigation' on service request.
However, what if I don't want dates to be automatically calculated? We have a service open 24/24 and dates are calculated following some contracts attributes.
    Thank you for your help,
    Regards,

  • ADF master-detail master selection not updating detail tables properly

    Hi All,
    I am using JDev version : 11.1.2.0.0
I created new Fusion Web Application Module. In that module I created a master-detail data model and added them to a page fragment with a query panel. When I run it as a separate module, It works perfectly and Master selection correctly updates detail tables.
But when I integrate that module to another Fusion Application(Add application jar file to the Master Application libraries), Master-details master selection not updating detail tables properly. This problem occurred sequentially.
    The problem is that.
After the page load, first selection of the Master Table works correctly and detail tables update correctly.
But second selection doesn't work, means detail table doesn't get update according to the Master table.
And again in the third selection works correctly.
This happens in a sequential manner. I monitor the behavior using Firebug. Observations are as follows,
When running correctly, Response of the Post Definition is

    Hi,
sound to be an implementation specific issue that is hard to comment on without knowing how to reproduce it. If you have a rerooducible test case based on the Oracle HR schema using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6, zip it up, rename the "zip "extension to "unzip" and sent it to the mail address you find in my OTN profile. If you don't have that test case, explain how this can be reproduced

  • Some items for podcast feed not updating on itunes

    Hey guys,
Here is my podcast feed at podbean and itunes
    http://theflyslip.podbean.com/feed/
    http://itunes.apple.com/au/podcast/theflyslip/id509869184
1)And here are my questions. I've updated my channel title as 'Armchair Critics' but its not updated on itunes or when I check it from my iphone 4s
2)When I'm on my iphone and search for my podcast and go to the page it allows me to download individual podcasts it shows the titles of the podcast correctly
eg Armchair Critics - Ep 4x2 - blah blah blah
While Downloading the first time on my iphone it shows like this, but as soon as I DL the 2nd one the title goes to being
1 - the text after Ep 4x2, why is it dropping the Armchair Critics - Ep 4x2? I want it to show like that after downloading and viewing on my music app also(formerly iPod i think didnt have an iphone before the 4s)
3)When viewing the source of my feed I notice that for my first posts the title tags are showing as
    <title>Armchair Critics - Ep1&#215;1 - Dilshan and Captaincy</title>
    it should be something like
    <title>Armchair Critics - Ep4×2 - Thirimanne and Indians</title>
with 4x2, is this some sort of syntax issue, and why does it work for the latest ones and not the old ones?
4)I recently updated my image, its still not updated on itunes or when I check from my iphone, is it cuz the feed needs time to update on itunes?
5)And in general, when I make a change to the feed, how long does it take for itunes to pick up the change.
5a)Does the change happen on itunes automatically?
5b)Do I manually need to update anything? IF so how and where?
6)Also, it I wanna add more itunes tags in future like for changing date/duration etc..how do and where do I do it?

Thanks alot for your reply Roger.
I will reply with comments to my questions based on your reply
    1) The title has sorted it self now on the store but not the image, looks like it has gone to some sort of default podcast image. Is it still updating? I've subscribed on a PC, what does subscribing do exactly ? I thought it would start downloading the podcasts, but nothing happened and I had to manually DL them. Again no image...
    2) The text getting cut off before the x,  eg 4x2 blah blah becoming 2 blah blah on iphone.
Some background - I added the feed to itunes last  week. Did not look at it until yesterday. And all my titles for the podcast had the 2x1 , 2x2 in them from the start - from when I created the episodes in podbean. I only started updating yesterday (again on podbean) cuz it was not showing up ok on the iPhone. SO should it not have worked from the start ? Or am I missing somehting?
Do you think the html code for multiplication is causing it to cut off the text before the x ?
    4) As stated above the image is still not visible to me on itunes after subscribing on a PC. What image do you see by the way ? It should be this?
    http://www.uh.edu/uhdistance/frieden/image12.gif
5 & 6) How do you re-upload the feed ? Since I made the update to the image, do I need to re-upload it to make it work? Is that why its not showing up still ?
Again thanks for the help. Definitely helpful mate.

  • ORA-21779: duration not active

Guys, it looks like nobody knows much about this error and Oracle support is no help.
The problem seem to be machine/environment specific.
We get this exception consistently on some of the oracle/intermedia queries on two out of six identical environments. The queries are run from a servlet, only number and varchar2 fields used, no LOBs.
The configuration across all the environments:
    WL 8.1
    Oracle 9.2.0.7.0
    Oracle JDBC 9.2.0.5
Some online sources mention that the ORA-21779 error is fixed by some Oracle patch sets, but we've done a cumulative update a couple of weeks ago, maybe someone knows a specific patch or the reason for the problem?
    Thanks,

  • Shaped layers are not updating in ae after changing them in Photoshop

I created a photoshop CS3 file that has a grid and 3 layers with editable shapes (a graph that has to be changed daily). When importing them into AE CS3 as a comp cropped layers, After Effects sees the layers and layer masks correctly. The problem is when we go back into photoshop and only change the points on the shape layers, save the file, and open the saved After Effects file, the shaped layers are not updated. Even the reload footage does no avail .
    Steps to reproduce issue
    1. Create a layer in photoshop and make a shape
    2. Save the photoshop file.
    3. Import the Photoshop file in After Effects as a comp
    4. Save the After Effects Project
    5. Reopen the photoshop file and edit points on the shape layer.
    6. Save the Photoshop file
    7. Open the After Effects project.
    8. The SHAPE layer WILL NOT UPDATE. The mask is still the same as the original first saved file.

No, they don't. Andrew is correct. Once imported, shape paths from PSDs will become masks and those have no relation to any external reference items. They are AE-internal. The apparent question is, how complex your graphs are. If you check out one of my old tutorials on creativeCOW you can find a line chart rigged with expressions and thus fully editable from within AE. Similar projects can be created for other chart types and in fact I had several of them already on my website (and will provide them again, if and when I get around to finally updating it). Also do not forget that you could use plugins such as Digital Anarchy's Data Animator (now owned by Red Giant and being reworked into an updated version called Datamator)...

  • Presenter Display does not update current slide or run timer ...

Hey - I'm a newbee, so forgive me is this is something obvious. When I run my presentation, the Presenter's Display does not update the current slide as the show progresses. Nor does the timer run. Nor are the notes displayed, even though I have checked all the appropriate prefs for all three. Help!

Yes, AIFF or WAV should work. I've never tried importing a SDII file.
    A few more caveats, however:
    1) A Recorded Soundtrack (i.e. with the Builds and Transitions timed to the audio) may not play back properly in sync if the slideshow is created on one computer and played-back on another; the durations of Builds and Transitions are dependent on the processor speed of the playback computer. SO be sure to check your synchronization on the playback computer! You may need to make some adjustments.
    2) It has been reported in numerous threads in this Forum that Synchronizations also frequently fail when exported to other applications - especially when running OS 10.5.
    3) Synchronization also fails if the slideshow is played back as a hyperlink. I've found that slideshows will playback just fine if a "stand-alone" Keynote presentation. If linked to others via hyperlinks, however, you will have to trigger all Builds and Transitions yourself.
All of these are known problems with Keynote and it's lamented implementation of audio.

  • Manual Tasks not updating correctly once timesheets are approved

I created several manual tasks as I needed more control over the dates. For example "Team Meetings" start 2/2/15 - 4/29/15. After creating the task we scheduled these to start on 2/4. Resources that attended the meeting posted time for 2/4 while
those that didn't had no entry for the period. Once timesheets were approved it changed the task dates to 1/26/15 - 5/13/15. For those resources that did post time their start date changed to 2/4 and their end dates were all over the place. Those that didn't
post time their start date changed to 2/11 and again had various end dates. In addition the % complete did not update. The same results were on all tasks that time was applied.
Another interesting change was to an auto task where no time was submitted. Only one resource and the task end date changed from 5/15/15 to 5/18/15.
With the exception of me the max units for all other resources is 100%. I am not assigned to either of the tasks described above. The tasks in question are not effort driven. Task type is fixed duration for all project tasks.
Please advise what I need to do to correct this mess.

  • Codec error, need footage/log notes from project.

Aright so I have CS6 and have updated my Premiere to 6.0.3. I am getting the "sequence has missing codecs" error that is plaguing CS6 users (I've been on a lot of sites/forums going over all the fixes). I opened the Adobe Help program and updated everything possible. I've uninstalled and re-installed and done the system clean as suggested on the Adobe help page multiple times. I've tried making new projects and then tried re-opening mine (apparently this worked for some people). I even made a copy of the project and tried to alter the lines of code for sequence codecs from I-Frame MPEG to AVI. I've re-booted my system after every attempt. I still cannot open the project.
I can however make a new project and import ALL of the footage. This seems strange to me but hey it works. Here is my problem. My producer (the project is a TV show pilot) left voluminous footage/log notes/color coded all of the footage for me in the original project (marking good and bad takes, separating interviews from b-roll, etc.) And I would very much like to be able to access all of those notes, she did this on her machine and I am now going to edit it on my station at home. Is there anyway I can get the footage in my new project to conform to all of those notes?
I'm close to the end of my rope here and time is running out, I'm on a pretty tight deadline and am also working another full time editing job during the day. Any help on either fixing Premiere so that I can open the original project or moving the footage notes from one project to another would be VERY APPRECIATED. Thank you for your time and help.

1st, What are you editing, and does your project match your video?

  • After Affects CS6 comp do not update in Premiere Pro sequence

Since CS6, if I change an After Effects project when the comp is already in a Premiere Pro timeline, the comp won't automatically update on the timeline, but it will update on the source monitor.

I'm having a similar problem. I have 2 Mac Pro machines that have recently been updated to CS6(Production Premium). This occurs on both machines. And is not specific to any one item being changed. It occurs to any changes being made AFTER rendering into PPro.
If I link between PPro & AE comps/sequence, I can make changes in AE and it will update to PPro as long as it has not been rendered. However, if I render the sequence in PPro, and then go back to AE and make changes(and yes, I am saving it before returning to PPro), it does not unrender the PPro sequence, and will not update.  It remains rendered in the sequence as if nothing has changed. No matter what I do to the imported AE comp in PPro, it will not unrender. (short of adding an adjustment layer with an effect above it all in the sequence to force it to unrender - this is my workaround for the moment).
I've gone so far as to delete the linked comp out of PPro, and re-import the AE comp, and if I drop it on the same sequence it pops immediately back up as rendered.  My guess is it has something to do with the global cache.
This is not a legacy issue, as this project was created from scratch in CS6.
    Here's the workflow
Create PPro Proj  -> import footage -> edit video -> save.
Create AE Project -> edit composition to desired effect/graphics etc... -> import or drag comp from AE to PPro -> Lay AE comp on video layer above base footage -> Go back to AE make any desired changes and Save -> return to PPro, and project is updated -> Render ALL in PPro ->  realize something needs to be adjusted in AE -> go to comp in AE, make adjustment & save -> return to PPro and find that it will not update/refresh/unrender.
I can duplicate this exactly on the other machine as well, so it's not a specific issue with a specific machine.
Am I missing something short of clearing out the entire render folder in PPro?

iPod 4,1 will not update to iOS 7. I updated my iMac to 10.9.1 (maverick). Latest Numbers version on iMac is not compatible with Numbers on iPod. Ideas? Can I go back a version with Numbers? I downloaded old version of Numbers 2.0.1 from DVD but with both versions the 2.0.1 will not open.  So both versions are present but only the new version functions. I tried to drag the new version to the trash but the old version still runs error message and will not open. I did not try to restart with the new version in the trash.

    Maybe. See:

  • IPod will not update in iTunes with Windows Vista

Every time I connect my ipod to my computer, my computer locks up and it does not update. The only way I can even connect my ipod is to use manual update.

iTunes does not yet support Windows Vista. There are numerous problems running iTunes on it. The latest release of iTuens 7.1 fixed some of them but not all.

  • Previews in Adobe Bridge in Essentials View do not update after manipulation in Adobe Camera Raw

When I open a RAW file in Bridge and manipulate it in ACR, the preview is not updated in Bridge Essentials View.  The only way I can get it to update the preview is to open the file in "Preview" view, then it updates and looks fine in Essentials view.

Is Bridge set up to store the ACR modifications to those XMP files? Only then it can update the preview right after working on it. Else you need to refresh the preview cache.

  • Can not update request in data target

    Hi,
We have a process chain for master data (10 parallel) loads.  One of the load
failed with error "can not update request REQU_46xxxxxxxxxxxxxx in data target".
    When I checked the InfoPackage

    (b) it has data selection

    (d) Data targets: update in all data targets for which active rules exist.
But I do not see any list of data targets here.
Can some one please suggest me how do I correct this load failure.

  • Exporting catalog, making changes, then importing catalog does not update file movements and deletions

I export part of my master catalog to a laptop.  I include the image files so I can edit the files at full res.  After managing and editing files I import the catalog back into the master catalog. When importing I check to replace metadata, develop settings and negative files. I have been running some tests to be sure all my work is being captured in the master catalog by this process.  I find that if I change develop settings or photo ratings this is detected when the file is imported and the data in the master catalog is updated properly.  The surprise is that if I delete files or move files among folders in the exported catalog these changes are not detected and these changes are not updated inthe master catalog.  It seems bizarre to me that such changes are not detected but I do not see how to get LR to recognize these changes and include them in the catalog update.  Without this capability I don't see how to use catalogs to move part of a catalog to another computer for edits and file management and then move back to the master catalog.

There are various reasons why Lightroom works this way, but you'll need use pick flags to indicate photos to be deleted, and other metadata like colours or collections.
