Circular loop in question slide even though branching view looks different
I'm having a bit of trouble getting captivate to do something
every simple. I need to ask a few short yes/no questions if the
user answers "No" to all then they get redirected to a web address.
If they answer yes they get a different slide that points them to
the contact details.
My problem is that no matter what answer I give for the
questions I end up getting sent to the contacts slide. The
branching view looks like it should do what I need.
Is there a way of telling from the XML export if there is a
problem with the source?
Hmm... that's a weird one.
Does your "failure" slide comes before the "success" slide in
your project? If not, try switching them around and see if that
fixes things.
Otherwise, I'm wondering if it's not an issue of the Quiz
preferences being too limiting to ever get to the "failure" slide.
Depending on the order your slides appear in, Captivate may not be
allowed to go to the "failure" slide.
Quiz navigation issues typically result from the settings in
the Quiz preferences being incorrect. I'd try setting the quiz to
Optional in the Quiz preferences and then play with some of the
other settings to see if that helps.

When you say a diffrent network, do you mean accessing the computer over the internet?
VNC is built into the computer, so you don't need ARD to remote into a computer. To access your parents computer over the internet will most likely require configuring their router/firewall. And unless they're paying for a static ip, you'll also need some way to track their computer.
OR
you can use logmein, or teamviewer. Both programs are desgined to access a computer over the internet. Most of the time they don't require re-configuring the firewall. -

The OS X license states that you can install it on as many computers as YOU own and control. So, technically speaking, your wife needs to get her own license; however, if you both use the same Apple ID......
FWIW, the license is not transferable, so if you sell/gift your computer, you must uninstall it and reinstall the original system (or the buyer will encounter major problems such as not being able to reinstall the OS if necesssary). -
When debugging, a for loop is not entered even though the number 6 is passed to "N".
I cannot figure out why a for loop is not entered when I debug it. When debugging a value of 6 is clearly passed to "N", the number of iterations the loop is supposed to execute. So when I debug, execution highlighting just parses right over the loop, even though I request to enter the loop. Everything inside of the loop is not executed. Have you experienced this before? - Any ideas?
As mentioned by "eh" auto-indexed arrays that are empty will cause this.
A "FOR loop" will itereate as many times as is indicated by the smallest number elements in any of its auto-indexed inputs.
When you watch it in execution-highlighting, you probably will see a "0" coming in on an auto-indexed input.

My computer at work remembers the pages I've visited even though I visited the pages while I was using my computer at my home. I don't know how or why this is happening, and I don't like that it is in sync with my computer at home - I have never used that function.
For example - When I type in "the methodist hospital" into the search bar using the computer at home, all the search results come up from Google, so I click on the links and take a look around on the websites/pages. The next day, I walk into work, and I type in "the methodist hospital" again in the search bar, and when the results come up - it indicates in gray lettering that "[I] visited this page [yesterday's date]."
Please explain why this is happening and what I must do in order for it to stop. It is scary knowing that my browsing history is remembered using 2 completely different computers. Needless to say, I don't want my boss thinking I'm just surfing the web all day at work.

everytime i go to a new complaint, another angry fellow ff user there is matt n with his infuriating smiling little picture...telling me about the awesome safety and security of the new ff...ignoring that a supposed safe but ugly and unusable browser is worse than a customized, beautiful, well functioning browser...with supposed safety issues. i am so angry i cannot express how this has wasted my time. i have been online for 2 hours now figuring out how to fix, apparently i cannot. my old theme is not compatible now...so i am screwed.

GUI lockes even though socket in in different thread
I have a very simple GUI interface which is designed to simply display the data received from a server socket. The problem is that once I accept the client socket connection the GUI locks until the client socket is closed. This occurs even though I'm creating the socket in a new thread. What am I missing? The server doesn't seem to send an encoding, so make sure that you have selected Western (ISO-8859-1) on that page if that isn't your default encoding.<br />

Prints are too dark even though screen image looks fine
I have an iMac and an HP Photosmart D7360 printer. Lately, every photo I print is too dark. With older versions of iPhoto I was able to adjust the print settings (saturation, brightness, etc) from the print window and save those as a preset so my prints would match what I'm seeing on the monitor. Those settings seem to have disappeared in iPhoto '09 and I can't find a way to do that anymore. I don't understand Color Matching and some of the other settings I see, but I would like to learn how to get my photos to print the same as they look after I adjust them in iPhoto. It's mainly the darkness that's way off.
Thanks.I also ran Disk Utility to repair permissions. The first time through there were maybe 100 repairs made to the AirPort Utility.app. I don't even use AirPort, so I don't understand that.
I've re-run it two more times and both times kept getting this message:

Do I need to do anything else to fix that file?
Also, all three times I've repaired permissions it's taken over 5 minutes or more to complete. I've never had it take that long.

Same job gets sent to printer even though I print something different
AM printing to a Kodak Digimaster EX110 with the latest driver 8.0 PPD.
Whenever I try to print anything, an old job gets printed with 120 pages.
Even when I select 5 pages of a totally different document, it still prints the same old job, same old 120 pages, and NOT the job I sent.
Have run a permissions repair and cleared and reset 'cups'. Still happennig.
It only happens with this one particular printer.

Help. I have been editing a project for two weeks and now it gets ghosts of ohter images from the project coming up in the wrong places. The thumbnail has the correct image but the image either does not display and its black or an old image or another one shows.
When I have problems like this I do two things. First I shut down and restart iMovie. Sometimes that rejuggles the date. But I am sure you have been doing that in such a long project.
The Second thing I do is delete iMovie preferences, which can get corrupted.

Im looking to get rid of my Dell laptop as all i use it for is updating my Ios and syncing music, pictures and such to to Iphone 5, rather than buying a newer laptop i was wondering if its possible to use my old 1st gen Ipad to sync these things to and from my phone? or will the fact that the Ios on my phone is much newer be an issue?
ThanksNot really. For some apps, it only works on iPad and can't be used on iPhone. However, for music, contacts, photos etc.. should be fine with iPad.

I'm using T-SQL to Create a table.
No matter what I do, the table gets created as dbo.TableName.
When I use this script

it should be this

Wrapping everything inside [] will consider it as name of table and hence it creates table with name as
Inventory.PurchaseOrigin under your default schema ie dbo

Please find below the set-up of our deprecition area:

Real Post to GL Ledger
Area 01 X 01 0L (Leading)
Area 02 X 03 L1 (non-leading)
In AO90, Area 01 has APC account 90000 and Area 02 has PAC account 90001, but when I post acquisition to my asset document posted for Area 02 still use APC 90000 and not 90001. Do I miss any config for this?

01 is the Leading Ledger
92 is the Non-Leading ledger
Go to OADB, Select the Dep area 92 and see what you have selected over there.
If you have rightly selected the Non-Leading Ledger 03 over there, then go to AO90.
Here select the Dep. area 92 and see whether you have assigned the right GL account.
Non-Leading ledger only posts the "Depreciation".
