CIS monthly returns (CIS300)

A problem with the Generic Withholding Tax Report transaction S_P00_07000134, program RFIDYYWT.
The 2007 online filing of CIS monthly returns (CIS300) has been set up and is working, but when running the report an additional parameters pop up window asks "Nil Returns" y/n. If you select yes the following message is displayed
You have selected Nil Return.
This will remove all Sub-contractor records, even if they exist!
Is this OK?
I cannot find any information in SAP explaining what this does and why it is required. Any assistance is appreciated.

My guess is that this will complete and produce a nil return - but it does this by removing any items that should be on the return...hence the warning.
I'd guess you shouldn't use this option unless you are sure that you do not have any items and therefore need to produce a nil return!
Hope this helps
Bernie

  • Month returning no records ...

    Hi All,
    I am having a bit issues here. I have created a view V_TEST on a table containing the columns -
    COUNT_ID NUMBER(10,0) No
    LOC_ID NUMBER(10,0) Yes
    VEHICLE_CLASS NUMBER(6,0) Yes
    RECORD_DATE DATE Yes
    RECORD_MONTH VARCHAR2(9) Yes
    RECORD_YEAR VARCHAR2(4) Yes
    FINANCIAL_YEAR VARCHAR2(100) Yes
    RECORD_TIME VARCHAR2(40) Yes
    UPLOAD_DATE DATE Yes
    UPLOADED_BY VARCHAR2(50) Yes
    Here I have customised the record_month from record_date column using to_char(record_date,'Month') as RECORD_MONTH and it is storing all the valid month data like January, February, March and so on.
    Sample data like this -
    <!--[if gte mso 9]><xml>

    Now in my report (based on the this view) I want to sort data by selecting month from a drop down box. Say if user select 'January' it should display only the result for January month. But it shows 'No data found'. I can not figure it out, my sql query is as below -
    SELECT l.name, m.loc_id "Location", to_char(m.record_date,'Month'), m.Record_month,
    m.financial_year, m.vehicle_class, initcap(m.uploaded_by), m.upload_date
    from rtv_metro_count m, rtt_locations l
    where l.loc_id=m.loc_id
    and m.record_month = :input;
    I also have tried this m.record_month=to_date(:input,'Month') but the same issue no data found.
    Can anybody help me with this please,
    Advanced thanks,

  • Mini-month view stuck on January 2007.  Non-functional.

    Hi there,
    As the subject line indicates, my mini-month view has stopped functioning. It is stuck on Jan 07 and clicking to a month and selecting a day results in a flicker, no movement to the main calendar window and the mini-month returning to Jan 07.
    Not sure what to do to fix from here. I've deleted my preferences file and rebooted iCal - no change to the problem.
    Any advice is appreciated!!
    Cheers,
    Dan

    Dan,

    And to get the first date of the month.....Didn't Jeneesh how how to get the first date of the month? Given a DATE dt
    TRUNC (dt, 'MONTH')returns midnight of the first day of the month containing dt. That is, the year and month returned are the same as the year and month of dt, but the day, hours minutes and seconds are 01 00:00:00.
    Did you mean "And to get the *last* day of the month"?
    If so:
    LAST_DAY (dt)returns the year, month, hours, minutes and seconds of dt, with the day changed to the last day of the month.

  • How To? Select List item return 2 values (high and a low)

    Can anyone suggest how to make a select list drop box return 2 values for my query.
    eg:
    Pick from
    Last Week
    Last Month
    Last Year
    return high/lo values of
    5-feb-06 12-feb-06
    01-jan-06 31-jan-06
    01-jan-05 31-dec-06
    Such that my query can refer to it as
    select *
    from tabx
    where dte > :parm_lo
    and dte < :parm_hi
    You get the idea ..

    I haven't tested this at all, so it may not work, but the first thing that springs to mind is not returning the two dates, base it on the current date, i.e. have your select list return something like -
    Last Week - Return 'W'
    Last Month - Return 'M'
    Last Year - Return 'Y'
    then use a query something like -
    SELECT *
      FROM tabx
    WHERE dte >
              CASE v ('ITEM')
                 WHEN 'W'
                    THEN TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'd')
                 WHEN 'M'
                    THEN TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'Mon')
                 WHEN 'Y'
                    THEN TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'yyyy')
                 ELSE dte - 1
              ENDLike I said, completely untested and may not work...you may also have to play around with the boundary values (NLS settings too perhaps).

  • CPF monthly report

    Hi,
    Can anyone explain relevance of various option in IT0186(Voluntary contribution) and impact of using those options on CPF monthly return?
    In my case,if i give flat amount as CPf contribution,it doesn''t reflect in CPF report,how to get correct CPF report?

    You will need to open the report in Financial Reporting Studio to edit and find the member ZZ611000, it has either been removed or renamed.
    Once you replace this member you can then save and then run the report.
    cheers

  • Sales return issue

    Hi experts,
    For cross-month returns, should the stock amount in accounting document of material document capture current month's value? (see Test result 1 below)? Why?
    Considering FI profit reports, the customer want that to capture the sales delivery month's value (see Test result 2). I only find Test result 2 can meet their requirement. But it should not exist in the real business. U know, period of material master records closes every month. Thus, actual GI date cannot be past month. Is the customer's request unreasonable? How to solve?
    Example:
    moving price of material A in material master = $10
    stock value of material A in May = 100kg X $10/kg = $1000
    stock amount in accounting document of material document after PGI (assuming one delivery in May) = 2kg X $10/kg = $20
    change price of material A via MR21 in early June = from old price $10 to $20 per 1kg
    Test results of creating sales return orders in June:
    1. For actual GI date in June in returns delivery, the stock amount of material document = return qty 1kg X $20/kg = $20, i.e. value change in MR21 is $980
    2. For actual GI date in May in returns delivery, the stock amount of material document = return qty 1kg X$10/kg = $10, value change in MR21 remains $980

    Hi Khaled,
    Thanks for your kind attention. But, my key question is where should the amount in accounting document come? U know, after PGI, material document will generate. In this document, there's "amount" in the accounting document.
    Any thoughts?

  • How do I calculate how many days are left in a month?

    I'm trying to figure out a way to do this to make a payment apportion using the days left. One of the problems lies in the date being dynamic, since I'm using "whatever today's date is" and it actualizes by day. Any help will be appreciated.

    Using some reusable document level scripts for general functions like getting a field object, a date object from a string, and the number of days in a month one could have a script like:
    // document level functions;
    function GetField(cName) {
    // return the field object for named field;
    // with error checking;
    var oField = this.getField(cName); // get field object;
    // test for error getting field;
    if(oField == null){
    // error accessing field;
    app.alert("Error accessing field " + cName);
    // return field object;
    return oField;
    } // end GetField object;
    function GetDateObject(cFormat, cDate) {
    // get the date object for date cDate with format of cFormat;
    var oDate = util.scand(cFormat, cDate);
    if(oDate == null) {
    app.alert("Error converting date " + cDate + " with format " + cFormat, 0, 0);
    return oDate;
    } // end GetDateObject function;
    function DaysInMonth(cFormat, cDate) {
    // return last day of month;
    var oDate = GetDateObject(cFormat, cDate);
    var StartDate = oDate.getDate(); // get day from date object;
    // set date object to 1st of next month;
    oDate.setMonth(oDate.getMonth() + 1, 1);
    // set date object to pervious date;
    oDate.setDate(oDate.getDate() - 1);
    // get last day of month;
    return oDate.getDate();
    } // end DaysInMonth function;
    // end document level functions;

  • Returning string thru a Customer Exit

    Hi,
    I have a requirement where i need to do a comparison between 2 Fiscalperiod fields and return a string accordingly.
    Logic: If( Year/Month < Cur Year/Month) return "Period" else return Year/Month
    Is this possible using customer exits? If not, how else can i handle it at the report level?
    Thanks,
    Arun KK

  • Returning the next day?

    Hi, i hope somebody can help me, I'm new to Java and I'm stuck with some work that I am doing. I don't want an answer, just a hint as to where to get started.
    I have created a class called Date, which uses switch statements to return a string of the date, when integer values are entered. I need to define a method public Date nextDay() to compute the next day, but I have no idea how to even start.
    Here's the code in my original class, I need to emphasise that I do not want an answer, but a suggestion as to how to get started, I don't really understand what is meant by I need to have a return value of type Date because I do not really understand how this type would be represented.
    package dates;
    public class Date {
           Constructs a date with a given year, month, and day
           of the calendar.
           @param year a year between 94 and 07
           @param month a month between 1 and 12
           @param day a day between 1 and 31

        public void setDay(int d)
            day = d;
           Returns the day of this date

    }

    Well I'm sure that any basic java tutorial that included the words "object" and "create" would be able to help you, but I showed you above how to create a Date. See reply #2.
    The general syntax for creating a new Object has two parts. First, you must declare a reference to the object:
    Object myObject;Then you must instantiate a new object:
    myObject = new Object();  //this must match a valid constructor for your type (in your case Date) You can of course do this in one line:
    Object myObject = new Object();And for you, you want to use a subclass of Object, named Date (which is what you've called your class)
    public Date returnNewDate() { //just a SAMPLE method returning a new Date object
    Date date = new Date(10,12,2007);
    return date;
    }
