Cisco 69xx missed calls as service URL at feature button

Hi,
can anybody help me to use "Missed Calls" as a service URL (Standard IP phone service) at a Cisco 6941 at a feature button.
As discussed in this thread it should work -> https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/1003641
I just copied the phone service "Missed Calls" and changed "directory" to "Standard-IP-phoneservice".
The service URL I don`t changed and it`s still "Application:Cisco/MissedCalls".
When I try to use this copied phone service at a Cisco 6941 as a URL I always get back a XML-error.
Is the service URL "Application:Cisco/MissedCalls" still correct when I try to use Missed calls as a Standard IP phoneservice?
The load at the Cisco 6941 is SIP 9.3.3.2.
I also tried with SCCP instead of SIP but still the same error.
BR
Michael

I think I found something. I tried it on CIPC - SCCP, nothing was displayed on the Phone when the button was pressed. Testing with other phone models now.
Here are the instructions if someone else is also intrested:
Adding an IP Phone Service to a Phone Button If you want to do so, you can assign the service to a phone button (a speed dial button) that is configured as a service URL. By default, the IP phone service can display under the Directory, Message, or Services button/options on the phone, depending on your configuration in the IP Phone Services Configuration window, so you only need to add an IP phone service to a phone button if you want the service to display as a speed dial. You can only perform this procedure for IP phone services that are not marked as enterprise subscriptions. Perform the following steps to add a service to a service URL button. Procedure
Add the service to Cisco Unified Communications Manager (see IP Phone Service Configuration Settings).
Customize a phone button template by configuring a Service URL button (see the "Phone Button Template Configuration Settings" section on page 73-1).
Add the customized phone button template to the phone (see the "Configuring Cisco Unified IP Phones" section on page 67-30).
Subscribe the service to the phone (see the "Configuring IP Phone Services" section on page 67-35).
Add the service URL to a phone button (see the "Configuring Service URL Buttons" section on page 67-38).

  • URL of the WSDL document missing from Enterprise Service

    Hi,
    my scenario is BW==>PI==>CRM7.0. where CRM is a service provider.
    In transaction SPROXY in CRM I can see the service I need, but under WSDL tab I can only find wsdl definition without the URL address. Service does not come in any SOAmanager screen either.
    I need to call this service from PI, but without URL can't create Communication Channel.
    Is there anything that can be done about it? Anything I've missed?
    Since this is a pre ramp-up release I contacted SAP but I'm still waiting for their answer.
    Maybe someone had similar problem and knows the answer, any suggestions will be appreciated.
    Regards,
    Krystyna Rokicka

    Hello,
    In that case, you need to create an XI adapter comm channel that will point to the CRM system (not really sure if there are other approaches, but this one is working for us). You could try this config:
    Host: CRMhostname/IP
    Port:  CRM port
    Path: /sap/xi/engine?type=entry
    Let me know if this works,

  • Can we call Endpoint URI as service url in proxy service

    Hi folks,
    Can we call the web service url as the endpoint uri while configuring proxy service ?
    eg: 10.16.220.144/ABCD as the endpoint uri in proxy service ?
    If yes...then plese give me the steps.
    thanks,
    salil

    The endpoint URI is the endpoint relative to the OSB managed server, to call it from external you use http://hostname:7002/my/path/myService as endpoint...
    You can see the WSDL by typing http://hostname:7002/my/path/myService?wsdl in a browser...
    hostname = your hostname
    7001 = port where the OSB managed server is listening
    /my/path/myService is whatever is configured as endpoint URI of your proxy service

    Does the imported WSDL web service connect to the back end system? Was XI configured to call that service? Or is that a service exposed by ECC directly? Just importing a WSDL might not work without making the required connections between the associated systems.

  • UC540 - Flip to a Camera Service URL from Incoming Call

    I have a client who says he has seen this before on a UC520 w/ 7975s, and he wants it repliated on his UC540 w/ 7975s. i.e. an incoming phone call from an access gate on an FXO port would cause the phone to ring, and force a page flip to a services URL or some oher mechanism where the camera  is visible (Axis camera server that is then converting the images to PNG via a realtime script on a Unix host).
    I know that cameras can be viewed at the services URL using a conversion method to PNG as above, but to the best of my knowledge you can't force the phone to flip automatically, or replace the background image automatically based on an incoming call.... Can somebody please confirm, or if it is now possible, explain the steps.

    If that was done with CTI or  TAPI and phone SDK, etc as custom application, yes it's possible. You would have to contact the author to know about the details, or start from almost zero to replicate it yourself.

  • (EWS) How to call autodiscover URL to retrieve exchange service URL?

    Hi Folks,
    I have some code that finds the autodiscover url by searching on the SCP.  What I would like to do is then call the auto discover service at that location to determine the URL of the ExchangeService for making EWS calls.
    The examples I can find in the MS documentation use an email address (ExchangeService.AutoDiscoverURL  and GetUserSettingsResponse).
    What I would like to do is call the service located at the address given by the SCP and then set the ExchangeService.Url property.
    I am aware that I need to use the ASUrl property of the AutoDiscover Response (POX), however, I do not seem to be able to find any information on how to make the request (using C#) and how to retrieve the response.
    Regards
    Andy

    You can use the Autodiscover classes to do an Autodiscover against your SCP endpoint (although I don't really see the point when you use AutoDiscoverURL it will do a SCP lookup first anyway?).
    eg to use the Autodiscover class you can use
    adAutoDiscoverService.Url = new Uri(" https://autodiscover-s.outlook.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.svc");
    adAutoDiscoverService.Credentials = new NetworkCredential(UserName,Password);
    adAutoDiscoverService.EnableScpLookup = false;
    adAutoDiscoverService.RedirectionUrlValidationCallback = adAutoDiscoCallBack;
    adAutoDiscoverService.PreAuthenticate = true;
    GetUserSettingsResponse adResponse = adAutoDiscoverService.GetUserSettings(Identity, (new UserSettingName[1] { UserSettingName.ExternalEwsUrl }));
    if (adResponse.Settings.Count >= 1)
    String exClientURL = (String)adResponse.Settings[UserSettingName.ExternalEwsUrl];
    CASURL = exClientURL;
    This will do a SOAP Autodiscover rather then POX if you want to do a POX discover you can do something like
    String EWSURL = null;
    String auDisXML = "<Autodiscover xmlns=\"http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/autodiscover/outlook/requestschema/2006\"><Request>" +
    "<EMailAddress>" + Identity + "</EMailAddress>" +
    "<AcceptableResponseSchema>http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/autodiscover/outlook/responseschema/2006a</AcceptableResponseSchema>" +
    "</Request>" +
    "</Autodiscover>";
    System.Net.HttpWebRequest adAutoDiscoRequest = (System.Net.HttpWebRequest)System.Net.HttpWebRequest.Create(adURL);
    adAutoDiscoRequest.ContentType = "text/xml";
    adAutoDiscoRequest.Headers.Add("Translate", "F");
    adAutoDiscoRequest.Method = "Post";
    adAutoDiscoRequest.Credentials = NetCredential;
    byte[] bytes = Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(auDisXML);
    adAutoDiscoRequest.ContentLength = bytes.Length;
    Stream rsRequestStream = adAutoDiscoRequest.GetRequestStream();
    rsRequestStream.Write(bytes, 0, bytes.Length);
    rsRequestStream.Close();
    WebResponse adResponse = adAutoDiscoRequest.GetResponse();
    Stream rsResponseStream = adResponse.GetResponseStream();
    XmlDocument reResponseDoc = new XmlDocument();
    reResponseDoc.Load(rsResponseStream);
    String EWSURL = "";
    XmlNodeList pfProtocolNodes = reResponseDoc.GetElementsByTagName("Protocol");
    foreach (XmlNode xnNode in pfProtocolNodes)
    XmlNodeList adChildNodes = xnNode.ChildNodes;
    foreach (XmlNode xnSubChild in adChildNodes)
    switch (xnSubChild.Name)
    case "ASUrl": EWSURL = xnSubChild.InnerText;
    break;

  • Calling a service via url when it has result set INPUT

    So i am trying to call this service via a javascript
    # Add users
    @Properties LocalData
    IdcService=ADD_USER

    dUserAuthType=Local
    dFullName=Jennifer Smith
    dPassword=password
    dEmail=[email protected]
    @end
    @ResultSet UserAttribInfo
    2
    dUserName
    AttributeInfo
    jsmith
    role,contributor,15
    @end
    <<EOD>>
    so i make a call using
    /idc/?IdcService=ADD_USER&dName=jsmith&dUserAuthType=Local&dFullName=Jennifer Smith&dPassword=password&dEmail=[email protected]
    but how to get the result set UserAttribInfo added to the end of this

    Jason,
    Thanks for the good info. Based on your technique I was able to figure out how to do a pure json post of a result set. You just need to send a Content-Type of text/json, set IsJson=1 and send the data encoded in the request body in the following format:
        LocalData: {
            dName: 'user',
            dUserAuthType: 'Local'
        ResultSets: {
            UserAttribInfo: {
                fields: ['dName', 'AttributeInfo'],
                rows: [['user', 'role, guest, 15']]
    }

  • Error calling web service from Adobe form

    Hi Experts,
    While calling web service form my adobe form, i was getting an error as below saying "Error attempting to read from the file" followed by the URL of my web service.
    To create the above scenario i followed the following steps:
    1. Create a Function module and create a web service from that function module.
    2. Through SOAMANAGER, download the WSDL file for the generated web service.
    3. Create an Adobe form with an empty Interface and create a new Data Connection on the form using the downloaded WSDL.
    4. Generate this adobe form using an ABAP report.
    Kindly extend help on this to figure out if I'm missing something!!!

  • Adding prefix to Missed calls

    Hi
    Please Help me out here . My client wants to redial numbers coming in missed calls and received calls but calls are drooping when redialed.This is because number which shows on cisco phones is either  9XXXXXXXXX(LOCAL CELL PHONES) or 22XXXXXXXX but
    Route Patterns ACTIVE as of now on CUCM:
    0.[2-6]XXXXXXX  -Local PSTN
    0.[7-9]XXXXXXXXX -LOCAL CELL PHONES
    I reffered few forums Disscussion and links but they are very confusing . We are using H323 AND MGCP (we want it on Priority) gateway where E1s terminated.
    Please Suggest at earliest ,I Hope to resolve this soon with your  help.
    Regards

    Option 1: Goto Service Parameters - Select the Server - Select Services Cisco CallManager - Click on Advanced, Now search for Incoming Calling Party National Number Prefix - MGCP and add your access code (9) which you use for dialing outside.
    for H323 gateway:
    voice translation-rule 1
      rule 1 /^/ /90/ type national national
     voice translation-profile incmng
              translate calling 1
    You can apply this translation profile to voice port (E1) or dial peer.

  • How request the service URL automatically?

    Hi, Everyone,
    How can I let the 79** serials phone auto request the service URL without user press the 'Services' button?
    (Except using 'IDLE & IDLE Timeout')
    BTW, base on this idea, i'm try to using the push2phone application (ASP) which is in CiscoIPService SDK, but i'm failed;
    Trace the codes, i'm found the problem is in the 'getDeviceList()', see the symbol("-->") marked:
    function getDeviceList(callManager, userID, password, protocol)
    // [callManager: *.*.*.*] [UserID: "pusher"] [password: "pusher"] [protocol: "https"]
    var authstring = text2base64(userID + ":" + password);
    var xmlhttp = new ActiveXObject("Msxml2.XMLHTTP.3.0");
    var xmlDoc = new ActiveXObject("Msxml2.FreeThreadedDOMDocument.3.0");
    xmlDoc.async = false;
    xmlhttp.Open("GET", protocol + "://" + callManager + "/CCMAdmin/Reports/devicelistx.asp", false);
    xmlhttp.setRequestHeader("Authorization", "Basic " + authstring);
    xmlhttp.setRequestHeader("Connection", "close");
    --> xmlhttp.Send(); // Error occured
    --> xmlDoc.loadXML(xmlhttp.responseText);
    --> Application("deviceList") = xmlDoc; // Application("deviceList") is NULL

    Hi, Remy, Thank you for your reply:)
    About my CCM:
    CCM System version: 4.1(3)
    CCM Administration version: 4.1(0.11)
    You say:
    "You have to know taht since CCM 4.1.3 the devicelistx is no longer supported.
    The page is always present but no longer supported by cisco. "
    Is that meaning i cannot call the function 'getDeviceList()' in this CCM version and subsequent?!
    (Yes, i can access the devicelistx.asp by: "https://*.*.*.*/ccmadmin/Reports/devicelistx.asp")
    On the other hand, I try to call the 'phonepush()' directly, it looks like:
    <%@ Language=JavaScript %>
    <%
    function phonePush(phoneIP, URI, userID, password)
    // URI: Spec service URL, such as: http://*.*.*.*/CIP/index.asp
    var authstring = text2base64(userID + ":" + password);
    var xmlhttp = new ActiveXObject("Msxml2.XMLHTTP");
    var pushxml;
    pushxml = "";
    pushxml = "XML=" + Server.URLEncode(pushxml);
    xmlhttp.Open("POST", "http://" + phoneIP + "/CGI/Execute", false);
    xmlhttp.setRequestHeader("Authorization", "Basic " + authstring);
    xmlhttp.setRequestHeader("Connection", "close");
    xmlhttp.setRequestHeader("Content-type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded");
    xmlhttp.Send(pushxml);
    return xmlhttp.responseText;
    phonePush(phoneIP, URI, userID, password); // calling
    %>
    But it has not succeeded:( Is that can works well?! Or is there has anyway that can perform the automation?
    Thanks!!!

    My primary skill is PL/SQL but the only information I found on Oracle's site to call a web service from a 10g Form was creating a jar file and importing the java class. Since I don't want to ask our corporate IT to make changes on the UNIX box for the jar files I went a different route.
    I use UTL_HTTP.BEGIN_REQUEST to call a URL then load I load the data to a table as a CLOB since we have more than 4000 characters. Now I need to parse the XML and load it into a form. I have never done this so if there is a helpful site please let me know. I have looked at several sites but none do what I want.

    Yes, it is the message line - so basically this call fails => rv:= CurrencyConvertorStub.ConversionRate(jo,'CAD','USD'); and control goes in the exception block
