Cisco 7600 MPLS and set Qos group
Hi, i'm am trying to use to following class-maps and policy maps on a Cisco 7600. The same maps have been used on both 3700 series and 7200 series. However when i try to apply IP_TO_MPLS_OUT and MPLS_TO_IP_IN on the 7600 (with SUP32 and 48 port gigabit blade) i get a message on the console
"set qos group" not supported.
I used the QoS group to carry the MPLS EXP value (as label would is popped) and this works well.
How can i get the QoS group to work on the 7600, if not is there a valid workaround?
Many thanks for your help.

Hi,
I'm not aware that you can use qos groups on c7600 (LAN ports ?).
For the MPLS_TO_IP direction you can use 'mpls propagate-cos' on the egress interface as workaround. This rewrites the egress IP ToS with the internal DSCP (which is inferred from the topmost MPLS label).
For the IP_TO_MPLS direction you could just match on the original DSCP ?
cheers,
Stefan

Router#Command Accounting is a TACACS+ feature so not for ISE....yet.
However, you can do the following to send commands to syslog and not including passwords (hidekeys). I just picked 200 commands/lines to store in the local command buffer/log. increase or decrease as you have memory. The notify syslog is what sends it via syslog.
conf t

log config

Remember, syslog is clear text :-) log away from user traffic when possible. Or use TLS based syslog when possible.

Dear all,
I am having a problem with implementing QoS for a 3rd Party application. The vendor requests that some of this traffic needs special markings with specific cos/dscp values. Also we need to have QoS for our Cisco IP Phones.
The devices ( phones and the 3rd Party devices) are hooked up at the 3850 (running IP Base) switches which are connected via port channel to 2 Nexus 5596UP which are connected via vPC.
If i execute the
show policy-map int t1/1/4 or show policy-map int e1/1 on the switches, I can see that there are match packets ( matched by any) but 0 by the UDP ports.
Also the the 3rdParty Clocks are not synchron which is an indicator that the QoS is not working. If the two clocks are hooked up at the same 3850 switch they sync.
I am sure I miss something, but I really do not know what. The goal is to have QoS for the Cisco IP phones and also the 3rd Party devices.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Here the 3rd Party requests and configurations I did on the switches:

I already mention the TurboACL feature statement. With ACLs, fewer are faster, and how they ordered (especially without TurboACL) impacts CPU. How you order you class-maps, within a policy, and how the match statements are ordered will also have some impact on the CPU load. If buffers are being allocated/deallocated, that too will impact CPU loading. I assume CEF is enabled, but for some traffic, flow caching might decrease CPU load.Remember a software based router, like the 7200s, are, more or less, a computer that takes your configuration and determines what's to be done with every packet it "sees". The more your configuration requires for per packet analysis, the more load for each packet.There are whitepapers addressing high CPU load caused by "process switching", but what you posted appears to be mostly all interrupt processing, which is "fast path", or optimal, packet forwarding. There's not much you can normally do to improve against that, other than insuring your configuration is as optimal as possible for your needs (again, things like sequencing/ordering of statements).
hi ,
thanks very very much for this nice information,
let me answer you :
you said that NPE G2 has finite capacity , but how to know this full capacity ???
i mean that my policy map is matching the traffic , but the matched traffic is not being enhancemend ??!!!
last about two weeks , the matched traffic of youtube was excellent and no interrupt durting the my rush hour.

Setting Qos for the Cisco C20plus codec endpoints.
My company has implemented a cisco video conferencing system using the Cisco C20plus codecs as H323 endpoints.
We currently utilise the Optus evolve network (MPLS) for our WAN
Our network WAN utilises Qos per VLAN settings.
For example, phones are in their own VLANs per site and the video conferencing system has its own VLAN.
We policy map ACLs to the following Qos classes specified by Optus in order of priority (Highest to lowest):
Gold-RT
Gold-NRT
Silver-NRT3
Silver-NRT2
Silver-NRT1
Default
Cisco recommend that Gold-RT is reserved for audio (phones) so I would like to set the C20plus video and audio traffic in the Gold-NRT class.
This class has the DSCP bits set to af42 which is more than ample priority for the video conferencing traffic.
Can anyone tell me what ports I need to specify in a permit statement in the Gold-NRT ACL to apply dscp af42 to the video and audio traffic please?
All C20plus endpoints RTP ports range are set to 2326 - 2486 so I will need a UDP permit statement for those ports for the C20plus endpoint ip address.
Are these the only ports that I need add to the Gold-NRT ACL?As Dejan has said, this question would be better placed in the TelePresence section of the forums where endpoints such as the C20 are discussed.
In any case, if you set your switch ports to trust the DSCP markings on the packets, the tags themselves can be applied on the endpoint.
If you go to the web interface of the C20 and log in, then go to Configuration > System Configuration > Network.
Scroll down near the bottom and you'll find the QoS section. Here you can set the Mode to "Diffserv" and set each of the individual values as required, ie, if you want AF42, enter 36 in the field (see the Assured Forwarding table on wikipedia for other value mappings).

Hello,
1)
I have a question regarding Cisco 7600/6500 ( sup720 exactely) in MPLS.
I've read in documentation and also in some forum posts that "show mpls cef" is not MPLS aware command and should be used only for IP traffic. But still in some Cisco documents you can find that it is recommended on Cisco 7600/6500 for MPLS to use show mls cef instead of show ip cef (wether it is P or PE device in MPLS).
Does anyone know what is true?
2)
Also when load balancing is involved in MPLS with Cisco 7600/6500 (sup720)
P=======PE (P and PE are 7600 and there are two paralle link with the same cost between them).
In documentation can be found that in MPLS, CEF is still in charge for load sharing (src-dst IP header based) except for hardware based platforms.
Since 7600 is hardware based platform does it have some other load sharing method or it is also CEF based?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
A.Hi Prima,
This question has been already answered several times and the answer is still the same :-) : it's not supported on 7600 platform due to hardware limitation.

How to set security group as primary site collection admin and secondary site collection admin using powershell in sharepoint online site - office 365?
Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to set security group as admin of primary and secondary site collection using PowerShell command in office 365.
I suggest you can use the command below to set the group to site owner, then it will have the site collection admin permission.
Set-SPOSite -Identity https://contoso.sharepoint.com/sites/site1 -Owner [email protected] -NoWait
Here are some detailed articles for your reference:

Creating group and setting owner
Hello,
When I am trying to create a group, FIM is picking up the my account (in which I am logged in) and setting that as the owner of a group unless I manually delete that and put another user as the owner. Can we change the settings somewhere
so that it doesn't take the default logged in account?
Please let me know, Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks.Hello,
as far as I know that functionality his some code behind which can not be changed.
But you can Trigger a workflow to clear the owner attribute on group creation.
Keep in mind that reference values can only be cleared by setting a " " (space) to the attribute by using the function evaluator.

Grouping and setting attributes by group in data modeler
Hi,
I wanted the enhancement to hide foreign keys but until that comes I was thinking I could simply set all the foreign key I want not visible to a colour of white, which worked quite well.
For the tables that are basically System such as Language Codes - I defined a Classification Type of System and set them to an identifiable colour to show they are connected but the connections will not be visible on the diagram.
Then I tried to do the same for the Foreign keys but there is no way of setting a standard colour which can be changed.
So I had to set each one to white, which is a pain but then I have white marks across my diagram which I may be able to live
with. In most diagrammer mappers they have a send to back which would solve this - please???
But then I come to the problem that I can't then see them to change them back as they are white ;)
Is there any grouping mechanism that I can group together foreign keys so I can put in this temporary fix?
So I guess I'm on
1. Classification for Foreign Keys - any way to do this?
2. Grouping and Sending groups to the front or back of the diagram.
Thanks,
p.Hi,
you can use dynamic properties to build your own functionality - there is dynamic properties page for each object. you can create them using UI and use them in scripting.
the following script uses dynamic property "cl_type" and check for value "t2"
fkeys = model.getFKIndexAssociationSet().toArray();
//create color using integer
color = new java.awt.Color(16724838);
for (var i = 0; i < fkeys.length; i++) {
fk = fkeys;
cl_type = fk.getProperty("cl_type");
if(cl_type!=null){
if(cl_type.indexOf("t2")==0){
fk.setUseDefaultColor(false);
fk.setBackgroundColor(color);
fk.resetEdgeParams();
}else{
// set for other types or reset to default
fk.setUseDefaultColor(true);
fk.setBackgroundColor(null);
fk.resetEdgeParams();
you need to transform RGB color to integer - I found calculator here http://www.shodor.org/stella2java/rgbint.html

Configuring SYNCE/PTP on Cisco 7600 and Cisco MWR for NSN NodeB
Hi to All,
I would to ask for support on how i can establish the PTP between Cisco MWR 2941-DC and a NSN NodeB. The Cisco MWR is connected to a Cisco 7600 with SPA-2X1GE-SYNCE where the SSU/OSN clock is connected on the BITS ports. Hope you can assist me with the configurations.
Thanks,
EugeneDear Genedeath,
I have noticed that you posted this message since last year ..... have you ever been able to solve the case??
I had a glance to the diagram and it looks quite similar to my case.
I need to configure a Cisco MWR2941 for the very first time in order to support SyncE for packet Abis between a NSN FlexyBSC and a NSN BTS.
BTS---------------Gig x/y MWR Gig x/x-----------------------FlexyBSC
I guess the source clock would be provided by BSC...
Can you support me according to your experience ??
thanks and regards!

Administration of ASA5520 and cisco router mpls 1900
Hi
i just want to administor cisco
ASA5520 and cisco router mpls 1900
can some tell me as admin what to check as u get into office /reguraly in cisco asa 5520 and vpn mpls router for administrator ,right now its working as configured by supplier for remote sites to connect HQ and access several server
My interest to know what are the basic day to day checkup on cisco asa5520 working as ips and cisco asa 5520 working as content filtering and cisco vpn mpls
thx ,attached pic for ur view
JHello Malai,
This question is subjective, I mean you can check the statistics on the CSC module for logs of the users going to blacklisted sites.
You can check the CPU for the ASA's and IPS.
You can monitor the amount of traffic traversing the interfaces of the ASA, you can determine witch host is using most of the bandwith,etc.
Its pretty basic administration stuff

We have a job group i.e. Job Group A that creates a second instance of the job group Job Group A (2) and completes normally. The problem is we have another job group that is dependent on Job Group A (1) so it never runs until we cancel the first job group or set it as completed. What could be inserting the Second occurrence of the JOB Group?
This sounds like a repeating job/group with new occurrences. Check out the Options tab for both group and job-levels
Group Options, If job is running, then Run Anyway
Job Options, If job is running, then Run Anyway
The correct setting should be:
Group Options, If job is running, then Run Anyway
Job Options, If job is running, then Defer until Normal or Defer Until Complete
which means if any of the deferred options are selected, the second occurrence will wait until job is completed normally (Defer Until Normal), or wait until job either completes normally or abnormally (Defer Until Complete)
Now I wonder what causes the second instance to complete normally and not the first instance.

Uninstall IE and set another web browser such as Chrome and FireFox as default using Group Policy
Hi there,
Please can anyone instruct me on how to uninstall IE and set another web browser such as Chrome and FireFox as default using Group Policy. Your help would be much appreciated.
Kind regards,
RocknRollTim
P.S. I was redirected by a forum user off the Microsoft Community forum.IE can't be uninstalled. It's part of the operating system and cannot be removed. You can hide the icon but the engine is still on the machine and still must be updated.
This is a topic best suited for a Group policy forum.

Step one is to install the Chrome ADMX templates - see the link below for more detais:
Configuring Google Chrome via Group Policy | Jack Stromberg:

Of the two browsers, my personal preference is Chrome over Firefox. Firefox's add in model is too prone to developer insecurity.

Thanks Justin Gu for marking this as the proposed answer.

I need script which will filter a set of groups by name, and then give a CSV with direct members
say it like,
$groupitems = Get-ADGroup -SearchBase "DC=fincaint,DC=local" -Filter {Name -like "*AppUsers"}
ForEach ($groupitem in $groupitems)
IF ($groupitem.objectClass -eq 'user')
Get-ADUser $groupitem | FT Name, Email, City, Title | Export-Csv c:\member.csv
IF ($groupitem.objectClass -eq 'group')
Get-ADgroup $groupitem | FT GroupName, GroupDN | Export-Csv c:\member.csvHi Dhiravia,
It's been a while. How is it going? If the suggestion provided by ThmsRynr doesn't help, for scripting questions, in order to get better help, it's recommended that we ask for advice in the following scripting forum.
