Cisco Any Connect: Works fine but can't download file
Hello! Here's my question:
I search for documents in a database over a remote vpn using Cisco Any Connect. Works fine. I receive a result, a list of documents that meet my criteria. I can either export to my PC or open. If I try to export, I get a prompt asking where I would like to place the file. I select the place (my desktop) and the window hangs after about 10% on the progress bar. If I try to open the document, a window opens but hangs.
Is there any way to resolve this, is the problem on my end of the remote vpn? Is this an Any Connect issue?
FYI: I am using IE8. I am using a Microsoft Windows Essentials firewall. (I was using Norton before this, same issue.) I have also tried “Display All Websites in Compability View” option in IE but no difference. The tool I am using is Documentum.

One thing you should do is get rid of that Westell modem from verizon. Its junk. I replaced it with a DLink DSL modem and internet is faster. Not that this suggestion solves your problem.

Try calling 1-800-676-2775. Give the serial number and thy *may* still burn you new install disks designed just for the hrdware in your system (for a fee, something like $160 per disk). *May* is only because they may not burn disks for Leopard anymore.
If they do not burn them for you, you can buy Leopard disks off Amazon or eBay for about $200.
Have you considered Snow Leopard?. Those disks only cost $19 (single user) or $29 (5-user license) through Apple by calling 1-800-MY-APPLE. -
Internet works fine, but can't see Airport Base Station w/ Airport Utility
I'm running Windows XP Pro on a Dell Latitude laptop with linksys wireless-n PCMCIA card. I have a Cable Modem running to a Linksys router (cloning a MAC address), running to the Airport Extreme Base Station. Internet works fine (as I type this), but Airport Utility cannot see the Airport Base Station. This has happened repeatedly after hard reset and re-configuration of Airport Extreme Base Station.
Do I have a bad piece of hardware?After doing a lot of research, this appears to be a pretty common problem for Windows users.
The only thing that has worked for me is to go into the Airport Utility, and under the file menu, click on configure other. Then enter the LAN IP address of your airport extreme. I think the default is 10.0.1.1, although I have a separate router between my cable modem and my airport express providing IP addresses, so mine was different. It didn't always work at first, but now almost every time my base station disappears, if I do this it can be found again. -
Google Autofill still shows in my toolbar, but it will not work any more since I downloaded the new version 4.0.1. It works fine on IE, so I will use that until it is fixed on FF. It is a very important feature for me, since I do a lot of web e-commerce. Please email me when it is fixed.

Installing wireless router, router works fine but can't configure the modem
I'm configuring a wireless network for my parents, and I can't seem to get it set up right on my parents desktop with Windows XP SP2.
I bought a Linksys wireless router (WRT54GT) to set up a home network, and set that up quickly. It's not having any problems, but I can't set the modem into bridge mode. I'm connecting to DSL using a Westell Wirespeed modem (C90-36R516-01) that is pretty old, but I don't see why there is a problem. I went to the IP 192.168.1.1 in my browser while connected to only the modem to configure it, but the server always times out. When I plug in the router, it goes easily to the Linksys' configuration panel.
The only thing I can think of it that I configured the router before switching to bridge mode.
I tried getting around this problem by configuring the router to dial Verizon automatically using PPoE, but I don't know if it's actually working correctly, and it still asks me to dial up when I start Firefox. Other computers on the network see the router, but don't connect to the internet.One thing you should do is get rid of that Westell modem from verizon. Its junk. I'm having some difficulty updating a table in my powerpivot data model. The data for the table is stored in a local excel file; if I go to
Existing Connections select the connection and do a test then everything is successful. When however I try to refresh that particular table I get the following error:
"We couldn’t refresh the connection. Please go to existing connections and verify they connect to the file or server."
In the past I had this and it was an authentication issue, the files are stored on SharePoint and I wasn't logged in to Sharepoint - I have however checked this and it can't be the issue because I have other tables linked to other excel files in the same
location that are refreshing without issue. Can anyone think of what may be causing it?
I have even tried creating a new local excel with the same data, added it to the data model and then tried a refresh and I I get exactly the same issue.
Are there any known issues with refreshing data from an Excel file if, after the initial import, you add columns to the table in the excel file I was wondering if this might contribute?

From your description, I tried to reproduce this issue on my test environment. However, everything is fine for me. Could you please post the specific version of SQL Server PowerPivot for Excel?
You can try to use a trace file to troubleshoot errors in PowerPivot. If this issue still persists, please try to reinstall SQL Server PowerPivot for Excel to see if this helps.

I updated an app on my iPhone 4 and it has went onto the loading icon but has stalled. The phone works fine but i cant download anymore! Anyone had this before

After updating my iTunes it no longer acknowledges that my iPod or iPhone is connected so I can't update my music.. I have followed all of these steps and everything is working fine but this new version of iTunes isn't recognizing my devices. Any advice?
I have the same problem. Running Win 8 64Bit, updated to latest ITunes and now will not recognize phone or pad. Followed all advice from Apple (uninstall/restart/re-install, all in exact order) ... nothing. Spoke with Apple tech and walked through the whole process, but no resolution. Tech was trying to be helpful but has no way of addressing issue.

I have an iPhone 6. For the first two weeks my bluetooth worked fine but then started having issues. Now, although it shows that it is connected to Bluetooth, I can't hear any of the calls. The radio continues to play. Please help!

It sounds like you may be having issues with the connectivity of your iPhone with the Bluetooth in your vehicle. The following Knowledge Base article offers up some great steps for troubleshooting that Bluetooth connectivity with your iOS device:
If you can’t use a Bluetooth accessory or car kit
To resolve the issue, you'll need to first sign in to iCloud and review your devices:
Sign in to iCloud on your iOS devices and Macs with OS X Yosemite (available this fall).
On one of your devices, tap Settings > Bluetooth and look under My Devices. You'll see all devices that are connected to Bluetooth, but make sure that you see your Apple devices that are signed in to iCloud and are using iOS 8 or OS X Yosemite.
Sign out of your iCloud account from any devices that you don't want to use. To sign out of iCloud on an iOS device, tap Settings > iCloud > Sign Out.
Then, remove any inactive devices from iCloud:
Sign in to iCloud.com.
Select Find My iPhone.
Select any devices that aren't active anymore.
Wait for Find My iPhone to stop trying to find the inactive device.
You should see the option to remove this device from your account. Select it to remove the device.
After following the steps above, restart the device with the issue. Then try to use it with your Bluetooth accessory.

Can you charge a macbook by any other means than the power cord? For example the usb drive? My cord works fine but the outlet on the laptop is not.

Can anyone help can not get my ipad to connect to wireless today. has been working fine but all of a sudden will not connect to Router. I have a kindle and a mobile and both of these will connect to the router wireless but the ipad will not.

Also try this - Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Hi! I brought an iPhone 4 off my friend at work. The day I brought it, it was working fine but now I can't seem to send any messages or make phone calls. You can reset the phone and it won't cause any problems or cause you to lose any data - Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Silver Apple appears.
The other thing you should do is to reset your network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. You will have to set up your Wifi again, but that oftentimes clears things up.
