Howdy, the only answer to such a general question would be to point you to the collab 10.x SRND: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/srnd/collab10/collab10.html
Do you have any specific questions related to the deployment?

I was just reading up on FlexConnect, and found this seriouly flawed example config. How does something like this manage to get published?
Really!!!
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/wireless/controller/7.4/configuration/guides/flexconnect/config_flexconnect_chapter_01.html#ID358
Same subnet on three different interfaces.
Both DHCP scopes are the same.
There is no spanning tree when a switchport is in routed mode.
Wrong mask on vlan 101.
You don't need a helper if the switch is the dhcp server.
There is no dns in the DHCP scope.
Configuring the Switch at a Remote Site
Step 1
Attach the access point that will be enabled for FlexConnect to a trunk or access port on the switch.
Note
The sample configuration in this procedure shows the FlexConnect access point connected to a trunk port on the switch.
Step 2
See the sample configuration in this procedure to configure the switch to support the FlexConnect access point. In this sample configuration, the FlexConnect access point is connected to trunk interface FastEthernet 1/0/2 with native VLAN 100. The access point needs IP connectivity on the native VLAN. The remote site has local servers/resources on VLAN 101. A DHCP pool is created in the local switch for both VLANs in the switch. The first DHCP pool (NATIVE) is used by the FlexConnect access point, and the second DHCP pool (LOCAL-SWITCH) is used by the clients when they associate to a WLAN that is locally switched. The bolded text in the sample configuration shows these settings.
A sample local switch configuration is as follows:ip dhcp pool NATIVE

Cisco LMS 3.0 step by step configuration guide
Hi all,
Can any body give me cisco LMS 3.0 step by step configuration guide. that is great help for me.
Thanks
AfzalLMS 3.0 is a very old version. You can refer to the product documentation here to start. The "Installing and Getting Started Guide" there should be useful.
You may want to take a look at this guide for LMS 4.1. Some of the terms are updated to reflect the application's changes over the past couple of years but the concepts are applicable. -
I’m spending the day catching up on Jabber/IM&P release notes across the server/clients.
So I’m used to EDI and UDS, but we have a new acronym in the Jabber for Mac 9.2(1) Installation and Configuration Guide called BDI and BDS. However they don’t define what BDI stands for other than BDI is LDAP for non-windows
Clients and suggests it should be used for Jabber for Mac.
What is BDI or BDS spelled out? Something directory integration, but what is the B ?
Then to add to the mix they reference BDS which sounds like the old UDS (is UDS changing to BDS?)
How can Jabber get any more confusing…
I also noted in the Jabber Video for iPad 9.3.4 release notes that Apple is removing the Always Connect option in the near future. Manually launching Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client before making a call. This is going to upset some customers who like how Lync uses https and just works from anywhere with enhanced directory integration…Basic Directory Integration. It's not new, we had it in the Windows clients as far back as CUPC. The distinction got introduced when EDI was introduced, relying on Windows ADSI APIs instead of the client making a native LDAP bind.
To my knowledge BDI/BDS are the same thing; I'm guessing S is 'service'. UDS remains unchanged.
I also noted in the Jabber Video for iPad 9.3.4 release notes that Apple is removing the Always Connect option in the near future.
Well, they lost a patent infringement lawsuit and chose to change the functionality instead of pay the troll. That's not Jabber's fault. Collaboration Edge will be the way to avoid this in the near future.

Help me about CDE205 (under SE mode) - CLI configuration guide
I'm trying to looking for "CLI Configuration guide for Cisco CDE205", but only GUI guide and command reference from cisco website.
Help me if you can.
Many thanks. The name that you type into the portal login page is the "User Name Attribute". You currently have this set to "cn", which is "xxx" (not ascii). After this name is submitted to the portal, the "User Authentication Attribute" is sent to the AD AWS. Leaving this as userPrincipalName is correct. If you would like to change what users need to type into the portal, change the "User Name Attribute". The recommended value is "sAMAccountName". This should be "user1" in your example.

Cisco 5502 Configuration Example
I'm currently running a Cisco 5508 WLC. I currenlty want to use two Gigabit ports for Wireless traffic and I will only have 25 1142 Attached to this WLC. Reading the Cisco Wireless LAN Controller Configuration Guide, Release 6.0 it says :
5500 Series Controller Example
For a 5500 series controller, Cisco recommends having eight dynamic AP-manager interfaces and associating them to the controller's eight Gigabit ports. If you are using the management interface, which acts like an AP-manager interface by default, you need to create only 7 more dynamic AP-manager interfaces and associate them to the remaining seven Gigabit ports.
I was hoping to use LAG for these two ports and create a Port Channel on the switch for these ports. From Cisco's recommendation it sounds like I have to turn off LAG and create a dynamic interface for the second port and put that Port in a different VLAN. Can anyone please shed some light on this. Everything is working at the moment but I'm just curious why this recomendation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Lag works just fine. can you send me the link to the document you are looking at?

Guys,
Can the IBM BladeCenter chassis be used to connect the blade servers to different subnets (different physical segments also)?? The specific config that I have is using the Cisco IGESM switches.
Thanks guys.Hello,
not sure if this is what you are asking, but I think you need an external router for that, that is, you can configure the ports IGESM ports for different VLANs, but in order to route between the VLANs, you need a routing device.
Check the ´Cisco Systems Intelligent Gigabit Ethernet Switch Modules Software Configuration Guide´ in the link below, and consult the chapter ´Configuring Interface Characteristics´ (Figure 7-1):

AP1602E - basic configuration guide ..
Hi
I bought a new 1602E ap .. so it comes with no documentation and the only doc that i foudn in the net it was this:
http://www.sws.cz/prod_img/cisco/ap1600getstart.pdf
but I need the started guide to the basic configuration ..
My concern is because the AP will be used for a producction enviroment and the point will be
what will be the best radio configuration with open with non security .. ? 2.4 or 5ghz ..
is any one know about it I appretitate your support
thnks in advanced
regardsHi,
do you have AIR-CAP or AIR-SAP
as AIR-CAP is controller based AP where you need the WLC to get the AP configured. Simply you have to connect the AP with POE.
AIR-SAP is standalone and below is the doc to configure it:-
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/access_point/15_2_4_JA/configuration/guide/scg15.2.4_book.html
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk722/tk809/technologies_configuration_example09186a0080c0b93c.shtml
2.4 GHZ or 5GHZ depends on what type of clients you want to connect ? If you have clients with A radio/ N radio then you need 5 GHZ and if your client is having G radio/N radio you can go for 2.4 GHZ. -
Hi Experts,
I need help on Cisco Prime LMS 4.1, I have installed it on the server and added some devices through add/import inventory but did not get any logs from devices.
I also configure snmp-server read and write community commands with snmp host commands,
Can i get any configuration guide or any link for related documents.
Expecting reply
Thanks
FazalAfter the addition Ciscoworks should automatically start managing the devices. The first thing it would do is to collect Inventory details to get it managed.
When you simply add a device using IP and login/snmp credentials via add/import, the device should appear unknown and once the basic inventory is done, ciscoworks should show device family icon (switch/router/FW/Voice etx), which should reflect LMS has started managing you device(s).
It seems "logs" is not clear on what is exactly you dont get.
Make sure the Credentials are correct which you can check via Credentials verification job, from:
Inventory > Job Browsers: Device Credential Verification
As Ciscoworks LMS is combinations of various modules segregated feature-wise like configuration, Fault Management, IP SLA etc. For more details please check the following End-User Guide Section :
