Cisco CAD getting Stuck
Hi Team,
Agents has reported that when the incoming calls comes, they are not receiving the notifcation(pop up for incoming call) and Cisco CAD getting stuck.
Highly appreciate if some one can help on this...

Does this always happen, or just occassionally?
Usually when this happens, you've got an agent selected, but don't have the connect option specified in the select resource step and never added the step in the script to connect the caller through.
Another thing that can cause this is if your script allows the script to "leave" the queued logic of the select resource step. If that's happening, it will cause this as well.
If it's an occassional problem, is it something you can duplicate on demand?

Cisco Agent Desktop stuck in Reserved
Hi guys...
we have a UCCE 7.5.7 with CAD 7.5.8... what we have found is that when there is a large volume of inbound calls the CAD gets stuck in Reserved state for 30 seconds before it gets a call...
Investigating this i came accross a reference that this happens when an Agent is reserved for an inbound call but the customer hangs-up at that very moment the agent was reserved...
now... 30 seconds is quite a long time for an agent to be Reserved without doing any work... is it possible to change this behaviour and maybe cut the timer down to 5 seconds which would be acceptable...
thnxI would use your lab system and try the registry setting RouteRequestTimeout (default is 30000 so probably msecs).

Dialing numbers gets stuck on "connecting"
Dialing certain numbers on our Cisco phones gets stuck at "connecting". Sometimes it drops after a few seconds, and sometimes it gets stuck there until you press the end key. RTM doesn't even show that the call was placed.
We are running CUCM 9.1 (phone versions 9.3.1SR1.1). Anyone have an idea on what is going on?

Ucce cad agent stuck in reserved state
Dears,
It is a UCCE system with CVP and CAD version 9.0
The issue is that when the call is to be delivered to an agent, the CAD is stuck in the reserved state for around 20 seconds then it goes to the Ready state and the caller gets disconnected since I'm not configuring a queue yet.
Has someone faced a similar issue?
Your help is greatly appreciated.

LaraActually it turned out to be a call manager issue. The partition of the agent's extension was misconfigured.

I am using Outlook 2007 and exchange server. When send emails they oftentimes get stuck in the Outbox with a sent date of "None". If I restart outlook and try resending the messages, they will oftentimes go out. I am having to restart outlook 5 times a day right now. Any ideas what would cause emails going out through exchange server to just "get stuck"? Sometimes when I sent the emails and I watch the Outbox folder, the messages will appear in the outbox with a "sent" date, then after a second or so that "Sent" date will just change to "none" and the email just won't go out. Any advice on how to troubleshoot or fix?
One other note...some messages just NEVER go out 9regardless of how many times I hit restart outlook and hit send) and I need to rewrite them by creating a new message and sending and that new message.

I followed the suggestions in the article and found that I had an add-in (that I did not need). When I disabled the add-in, my problem was solved.
Text of article follows:
After viewing the Outbox, the messages in it won't send.
If you click on the Outbox while messages are waiting to be sent, the messages are marked as read and won't send.
This is caused by a Net framework add-in you have installed that 'reads' Outlook items, including the Send to OneNote from Outlook PowerToy add-in and BCM (Business Contact Manager). A list of other add-ins known to cause this behavior is listed below.
To send the affected messages, you'll need to open the message, then switch to a different folder before clicking Send on the message. Do not go open the Outbox until after the messages are sent.
To identify the add-in that results in this behavior:
Look in Tools, Options, Other, Advanced, Com add-ins. Disable the add-ins and re-enable them one at a time and test.
Since BCM and possibly other add-ins are not listed in the COM add-in list, check
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins
Export the keys then change the LoadBehavior value to 0 to disconnect an add-in. Restart Outlook and test.

If your mail won't send and it's not the problem described above, other possible causes are:
Authentication problems: Are you logging on to the mail server correctly?
No default mail account. If you can reply to messages but not send new message, check the account settings and make sure one is set as default. When you use a configuration script created by your mail provider or import accounts, an account is not always set as default.

Why after so many updates does address book keep getting stuck?
Address book is easily the most troublesome app in OSX. My current frustration with it is that it keeps getting stuck in endless loops, requiring it to be killed and restarted, and most likely introducing more errors in the database that make for more troubles, and so on ad nauseum. Really, Apple; couldn't you make an address book that "just works" by now? Maybe it should have been kept simpler?
I'm pretty skeptical of attributing this to anything peculiar to my current environment. I've observed continuous bad behavior by Address Book as long as there has been Mac OSX in the early 00's, often involving its interactions with Mail and Calendar. For the longest time, it couldn't undo, which made for some nasty mistakes.
But here's my report. I see a few red items that appear to reflect outdated things that haven't been removed or the continuous OSX complaining about Flash player versions. Let me know if you see something problematic...

Single TaskButton in the Cisco CAD Client is not functioning
Hi ALL,
we are facing issues with respect to Cisco CAD Client application.
We are using I.C.M Version 7.5.8.
1)We have a set of Task Buttons configured, where as one of the Buton is configured for a Blind Transfer(InThis Case TASK1) is not functioning randomly.
2)We have configured this to transfer back to I.V.R.sometimes after clicking twice or thrice, it works some times it does not transfer at all.
3)No Error is observed, except the call is not getting transferd back to I.V.R.
4)Have gathered the Agent Level Desktop logs and noticed TimeOut Messages .Please find below the LOG Snippet for reference.

The message below is a generic error, you will have to look more into all the PG logs (jgw, opc, pim, cg, ctios) to see why the SST is failing.

Use the HeldCallID and ConsultantCallID from agent dbg to track the call in the PG logs for further clues.
If you are not after RCA, cycle the PG services this should help however most likely the problem might reoccur after sometime.

Hi,
I just purchased and configured rv180 to share 15 apartements traffic. It has a 100 Mb link in wan, and 1G switch in LAN. Typically there are home wlan routers as LAN clients. The traffic is minimal. The device replaces old pentium PC with monnowall, which was plenty enough for performance. Now the problem is that the rv180 gets stuck about once day. I can't access it remotely, nor can the users ping it. The lights are on.
I tried now to put 10Mb QoS rate limit to see if it gets any better. Perhaps it doesn't handle packet buffers correctly, or smth. I would like to hear if this is expected quality of the product, or is this a matter of firmware bug with memory handling or smth, or some problem with the unit?
What's your experience?

There is nothing special in my setup. No VPN, no VLANS, no jumbo frames, no special firewall rules, no DMZ. only around ten home routers behind it. We simplified the case to minimum, but you are right, the device needs to be reset daily. Tonight I'm going to switch back the old PC, it was the PSU that failed, and I found a replacement. Weird, that the consumer technology hasn't improved to beat more than ten years old basic pentiums for simple case like this. I'm really dissappointed to the Cisco quality of these small office devices.
I'll follow your advise and try asking cisco if the device is broken. At minimum it's not performing the job it should easily handle.

I was editing photos and it was getting stuck or frozen and working very slowly. I attempted to restart the computer but it would not allow me to quit aperture. Now aperture appears in my toolbar but will not open up so I can work on any photos. Any ideas?
Did you try opening from the Applications folder?
Depending on how far that gets you, I would also take a look at the Troubleshooting Basics. -
i am unable to email images from my camera roll. the image gets "stuck". cannot insert email address or subject line. cannot cancel... return to camera roll.

The first thing I recommend is quitting and relaunching the applications on your iPhone:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

If you are still seeing the same issue after quitting and relaunching the Photos and Camera app, I recommend restarting your phone and then resetting if it's still not working:
Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Logout, restart, shutdown all get stuck
After Quicksilver G4 has been idle for a few hours and I come along to shut it down or log out, it starts the process but gets stuck at the blue screen and spinning doohickey. (not the beachball). I've let it sit for over a half hour.
I can SSH into it and there are no stuck processes, no CPU overload, no memory overruns. It's just sitting there drooling.
The only other symptom is that the eject key doesn't function sometimes. If it is one of those times, I can be sure it will hang on reboot. Other times the eject key works fine regardless of whether there is a disc in there or not.
Happened with 10.5, 10.5.1, 10.5.2, but never with 10.4.x
Strange huh?Open Activity Monitor (/Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor.app), and see if you can spot any thing to do with Safari or Firefox in there.

The flex UI for SuPM is sturctured within the SUPM Portal packages OPMFNDUI and ANASUSTUI,so please re check whether you have installed the correct SuPM portal packages from service marketplace.
Since I see some webservice related message in the log please re check the following post installation step in the installation guide :
Configuring SAP UI Framework Web Service Proxies (look for the authorization details also).
If you still get problem during loading the SuPM UI through portal please go to NW administrator and view the error log.

If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

Photoshop CC Toolbar buttons sticking.. getting stuck on single click
Toolbar buttons get stuck in dropdown menu with single click... it's extremely irritating especially being in photoshop all day. I have to click the intended tool button twice in order to get rid of the drop down menu options. I realize it should do this when I double click or hold down click.. but not when I simply want to select a tool with a single click. I've tried everything. Please help!
