Cisco E900 ports 1990/tcp and 5916/tcp open on the LAN. Cannot close them.

I just bought a Cisco Linksys E900 wireless router. Can someone explain to me why the router (192.168.1.1 on my case) has ports 1990/tcp and 5916/tcp open on the LAN?? I cannot find a way to close those ports.
Just do a simple:
telnet 192.168.1.1 1990
or
telnet 192.168.1.1 5916
and you'll see those ports are open.
1990/tcp = Cisco STUN Priority 1 port
5916/tcp = I have no idea
Every client on the LAN (wired and wireless) can connect to those ports on the router. I do not want that to happen. It is unncessary and it is just not secure. I only want the router to have port 443 open on the LAN for the web mgmt interface. I do not want any other unncessary port open.
It would be great to have a response from Cisco directly.

The router is already updated to the latest firmware (1.0.04 Build 1).
I had to do the update as soon as I opened the box because the default firmware had an incredible serious bug: after setting up the web management interface on the LAN to work over SSL, it was impossible to access the interface because of an SSL bug in the router. The bug is in the release notes of the firmware... that alone says a lot about the very very poor quality of this router.. you can't have that kind of bug in a finished product....
I was able to close port 1990/tcp by disabling WPS in the router, although doing so was pure luck since the router's UI is terrible..
5916/tcp is still open.. since I was able to close 1990/tcp I don't think this is a defective router.. I cannot return a router to the store just because it leaves a port open, the store, sadly, will not take it back... so please Cisco, can you help with this? this product is faulty, it doesn't work as expected, it's your responsability.. please help
Reset the router manually then reconfigure the settings.

I just updated my iTunes, and I need to delete photos from my iPod 4, and there is a Photo Library that synced to my iPod when i plugged it into my computer, and now it doesnt have the option to delete them off my iPod. How do I get rid of these photos? I have read other questions that say to plug the iPod into the computer and like un-sync it, but I downloaded the new iTunes and it doesnt have a photos tab. Does anyone know how to solve my problem? Please and Thank You, Megan!

It sounds like the iPodf is seening the iTunes libary as a new libary. -
Ipod does not appear in my computer or recognized in itunes. When ipod is connected a window pos up aking to import photos off the device and when this is closed the ipod cannot be recognized. Any Help?

I want to tell you that I am very disappointed because I just read that in photo stream my photos are stored only for (30) thirty days.I didn't know that and I didn't have the time to save them on a device.
I was robbed of mobile before (3) three days and I lost 2.000 photos!
Is there any possibility to retrieve them?
If it was possible that would be great as I would save them immediately to my computer instead of losing them again.

If you are referring to the fact that, in the App Store app, after you have installed or updated an App, that the Install button changes to now read "Open" then this does not mean that the App is Open and running. It means, rather, that, if you touch the button now marked "Open", the App will be started and "Open". It's just a quick way to get to the App you have just installed or updated. -
Currently when I double click it creates cpgz file and does not open. The only way to open pages doc is to manually ask to open with pages.

Sounds like OS X has lost the association between Pages and its files.
Start by quitting Pages, then going to Finder.
In Finder, locate a .pages file. Click on it (once), then press command-I (eye, not one) to Get Info.
In the Info window that opens, expand the Open With section.
In this section, click on the pop-up menu and choose Pages (even if Pages is already shown).
Click the Change All button to associate all files with the .pages extension with Pages.
Close the info window.
Double click any .pages file to check that Pages will now launch and open the file.

This relates to an earlier question I asked: I have an iPhone and can send messages to a galaxy, but the person cannot receive them; however, I can receive messages from the galaxy. I have only had an iPhone so the problem does not relate to a change in phones. Up until about 1month ago I could send to the galaxy and they could be read. Help!

I downloaded the latest iTunes software update and it properly installed. But, I cannot close the update window showing it was completed and the blue completion bar is full but cannot cancel or close it either. Any ideas on how to clear that out and close the window. Tried to quit on both the big window and the software update title in the menu bar. No luck.
Tried that by shutting down via the power button only as the normal shutdown was nixed by the open window issue. It did not help. Found a very similar question in the discussions and it recommended "Force Quit". That worked and the update works normal and the window is gone. Thanks!

I use firefox to work. I'm web developer and in the firefox have instlalled 3 complements and 8 plugs.
When use Firefox, and in different tabs open: GMAIL, web normaly, other web, google, conection with my server plesk, ...
Normaly use 6 to 8 tabs in differents sites, some moments firefox run very slow, at the moment, in one web, it stop, dont run and response.
Than, I close firefox, pause 10 seconds to firefox service stop and reopen, it open all the last webs and popups visited today.
Sometimes, it even opens popups that had been closed for some time ago, sometimes it crashes.
In the same day, it success two or three times.It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.<br />
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

On a Mac, how do I close tabs or windows where dialogs have popped up trying to download malware and you cannot close them? I think it's Ctrl+F4 on a PC. I would like to close just these tabs or windows instead of having to quit the whole firefox program.
The equivalent of Control+F4 is Command+W, I have not tried it but you may still get the alert boxes when closing a tab using this method.

An alternative method in Firefox 3.6.* is to temporarily turn off JavaScript. Open the Firefox preferences window, go to the Content panel and de-select the setting "Enable JavaScript" then click OK. You will then be able to close the tab, and can then re-enable JavaScript. -
I am attempting to update to the new os x mavericks and while completing the download it prompts me to choose a disk. I have chosen the only option I am provided and am then told that the update cannot be installed on "untitled 1" what am I supposed to do?
