Cisco Email IronPort is not sneding email to outside [Errno 61] Connection refused

Dears,
I have deployed new ESA C170. for incoming emails it works normally. But when we send email to most of domains like yahoo, hotmail, gmail...etc, the email get stuck and tracking shows ( queued for delivery). Mail logs show the following error:
Sat Nov 22 16:18:43 2014 Info: Connection Error: DCID 20515 domain: hotmail.com IP: 65.55.92.152 port: 25 details: [Errno 61] Connection refused interface: 172.20.1.20 reason: network error
And when I navigate to "monitor" -> " Delivery Status" it shows all the mentioned domains "Down".
After long monitoring, I discovered that emails going to mail servers inside Saudi Arabia are not affected they are delivered successfully.
But when comes to global mail servers like hotmail it fails. using Macafee threat intelligence tool, it shows the global IP of ironport as "High risk".
Notice that the IP is not blacklisted anywhere else.
Is this service provider related issue? And how can I make sure that it is problem in the IP...
Thanks,,,

Thx for ur response..
actually I have single-homed box with one connected interface.
I can ping gmail server but i cannot telnet it on port 25..after deep investigation i discovered that Macafee classifies the IP as "high-risk" although it is not black-listed in all reputation servers.
the issue is not resolved yet.
i don't know how can I unblock it in Macafee

  • Cisco ISE - Authentication Bullet Not Appearing on a Starting Windows Machine Connected to IP Phone

    Dears,
I have this case and I would be very thankful if someone has the answer for !
When Wired AutoConfig service is enabled on a Windows XP (or 7) station that is connected to an IP phone, the "Additional Information is needed to connect to this network" popup bullet successfully appears when the UTP cable is unplugged and then plugged back in the network card or the network adapter is disabled and re-enabled or the switchport configured with Dot1x had a shut no shut.
However, the "Additional Information is needed to connect to this network" does not appear when the Windows workstation reboots and it gets unauthenticated!
Our customer finds it a hard task to instruct his "non IT employees" to unplug the UTP cable and then plug it back or do any of the above methods in order for the authentication bullet to appear.
Does anyone know how to configure the Windows machine so that the authentication popup bullet automatically appears upon machine startup?
    Best Regards,

    Hello Neno,
I am using PEAP and below is the dot1x config under the switchport:
    interface GigabitEthernet0/4
    switchport access vlan 107
    switchport mode access
    switchport voice vlan 156
authentication event server dead action authorize vlan 107
    authentication host-mode multi-domain
    authentication order dot1x mab
    authentication priority mab
    authentication port-control auto
    mab
    dot1x pae authenticator
    dot1x timeout quiet-period 180
    spanning-tree portfast
Please note that the authentication bullet appears on a Windows PC directly connected to the switch.
The problem is when the PC is connected to an IP phone or takes too long to boot.

  • Cisco Email Interaction Manager (EIM) with UCCX 8.5 ?

Anyone using UCCX 7x/8x with Cisco Email Interaction Manager (EIM) ? Looking for some hands on feedback from someone using it.
I have a customer currently using the free UCCX 7x/8x Express E-mail Manager (EEM)(it came out with 7.0(1)SR4 and adds a FIFO Email CSQ that doesn’t integrate using .aef scripts just Agent Desktop/Desktop Administrator)
They want to prioritize other than FIFO, which it appears Cisco Unified E-Mail Interaction Manager can do. They are looking for recommendations on handling email beyond what UCCX can do. They have stated moving to ICM (UCCE) is not a budget option. They have 16 email CSQs and 18 voice CSQs. The Email CSQ pretty much requires a 1 Email CSQ per Agent ratio due to the way Transfers are done with Emails to individuals, which bumps up against sizing issues/A2Q.

    Hello Sue,
I have an iPad 3, iPad Mini and iPhone 5S and they are all sluggish on capitalisation using shift keys. I hope that Apple will solve the problem because it is driving me crazy.
I find using a Microsoft Surface and Windows 8 phone, which I also have, work as well as all the ios devices before the ios 7 upgrade.
It has something to do with the length of time that you need to hold the shift key down. The shift key needs to be held longer than the letter key for the capitalisation to work. For some reason, this is a major change in the way we have learnt to touch type on computers. I am having to relearn how to type!

  • Could not send email while in MX, wireless connection

Last week I could not send email while in MX, wireless connection, using an SMTP server I usually use, and had used from Europe months before - only difference was that I did not turn on AT&T's international access feature. I wish now that I had thought to turn off localization. Email went out when I returned to the USA with no other change. Is this a known "feature"?

Bring the Mail browser window forward, then select Enter Time Machine from the Time Machine menu, which is represented by a clock icon in the menu bar. If you don't have that menu, select
 ▹ System Preferences ▹ Time Machine ▹ Show Time Machine in menu bar
Scroll back in the time-travel view to the most recent snapshot containing the messages you want to restore. Select the messages, then click Restore. The messages will be restored to a new mailbox. From there you can move them wherever you like.

new iphone 4s will not load yahoo emails, gives message of the connection to the server failed

Perhaps you should use this iPhone email setup assistant to re-enter your Yahoo account settings.  If you do that, simply go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and delete your current Yahoo account, then use the assistant to re-establish it.

    Hello Hernan,
The provided MAC address contains an ethernet media type. Try changing the ethernet media type to .66 as per documentation.
    hardware-address 0100.016c.cbaf.31

I can't send emails from iPhone until I connect to my wifi at home. I am with bigpond and have a bigpond email address. Can anyone help me?

Try closing the Mail app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • Receiving emails from outside

    Hello,
I have a exchange 2010 server and two exchange 2013 exchange servers on a coexistence environment.
the ex2013 servers are using a single namespace via the F5 loadbalancer ( virtual IP).
all emails and everything is working fine. I am in a point to do a final cut over. we are sending/receiving emails behind a iron-port spam guard.
currently it seems like the ex2013 servers are receiving emails from outside the network( external) via the ex2010 server.
how can I make the ex2013 receive email from outside without going to ex2010?
I can send emails to outside world fine as I have a send connector to the spam-gaurd.
do I need to make a new receive connector? if so what IP should I use in the receive connector?
    Please advice.
    Thank you
    Sham

    Hi Thanks,
When I match settings as the ex2010 emails stop coming from outside and they are queued up in the ex2010. ex2013 is not receiving them.

  • Cannot send to Distribution Group emails from outside exchange

    Hi,
I have created several emails linked to distribution groups in Exchange 2007.  When i email to these groups from an email hosted on the server the email goes through just fine.  When I try to send to these emails from an external email address (one from  hotmail or  yahoo) the email is never received and I never get a message back saying anything went wrong. I am able to receive email to all normal user accounts.  I know it was possible in Exchange 2003 to have group emails receive email from outside sources, as I used several group emails as logins at various forums, and received updates from them.
Am I missing some point of the setup?  I have all domains open to be received from, hence why I can receive to my normal user email address.  Any help would be apprecaited.
    Thanks

    Hello Scotty,
When you create any distribution list with Exchange Management Console - EMC or Exchange management Shell - EMS in 2007 by default Sender Authentication is Enabled to prevent unwanted messages from spam and from outside domain, this is by default in design...
You need to disable it to get email from outside.
From EMC: Recipient Configuration -> Distribution Groups -> Select a group -> Properties -> Mail Flow Settings -> Message Delivery Restrictions -> Properties -> Untick “Require that all senders are authenticated”
From EMS: Distribution List not getting mails from outside - NDR 5.1.1

  • Receiving Email from outside

anyone having problems receiving email from outside? I sent my self a test and I got that but not anything else - I have restarted mac but didn't help.

Having the same issue! It took me 50 minutes to receive an email with one Word attachment this morning. Better than yesterday tho where I didn't receive emails with attachments at all. I cleared my junk mail filter but mail receipt is still sporadic. Also, sending email out is so very sssssslow.

bigpond suffer rather badly from incompetence and a disconnect between their technical people and the idiots on support.
If it works sometime and not others you can be almost certain that the good people at Bigpond have managed to mess it up again, unfortunately the IQ of their tech support people is so low that a conversation is about impossible, let along an actual useful solution. Last time I wasted time with them they blamed my copy of Microsoft Outlook and regardless of my assurances that it was simply not installed, refused to change their tack, or put me onto someone with a sufficient grasp on reality to at least consider blaming installed software.
My solution, and that of many others, is to simply not use their email accounts for communication with anyone but bogpond. If I had a choice, I would not be their customer at all, but where I live real choice is not something we have.

I try sending an email and Firefox disrupts the connection and I always have to re-load the page. Also, I cannot attach any documents to emails.

Try one or more of the following:
    > Restart Your Computer
    > Uninstall and Reinstall iTunes
    > Reset iPod (nothing will get deleted)
    > Look in My Computer (Windows 98, XP) OR Computer (Windows Vista or 7) and see if your iPod is in there.
In some cases (and this happened to me before) plug your iPod in and out your computer a few times. It should get it going. If not, then I strongly recommend starting your computer.
