Cisco Fax Server 9.4 - Available Space for Fax DB per SQL

We have two Cisco Fax Servers 9.4, using an SQL cluster. On the RightFax Enterprise Fax Manager, we have "Available Space for Fax DB per SQL" with only 4%, even though we have 200GB free on the SQL cluster.
Any ideas?
I think this is keeping all outbound faxes on the "Waiting for Phone Expansion" state...

Hi Sir,
My fax server has the SAME status. Is it normal? What is the condition of your FAX server? Are the FAX servers running smooth even it indicate the space for DB per SQL have 4%?
Your input will be much apprecivated!!
Michael.

No, each drive is treated separately. Sorry!!

  • How does one give out enough spaces for a column in SQL report ?

How does one reserve enough spaces for a column in SQL report ?
Ex: 2 columns defined as the following
    projectNo varchar2(10)
    ProjectName varchar2(50)
When create an sql report, the report heading will show below. If my project name is " Tire Strength Test At Site R987654" . I need to get it to show in one line since it was defined as varchar2(50)
    projectNo     ProjectName
    A0001         Tire Strength
                  Test At Site
R987654 There got to be a way to get around here . Thanx in advance.

I noticed the CSS Style settings only seem to work if using a "Standard Report Column". Unfortunately I have the need to define some report columns where undesired wrapping occurs as "Display as Text (based on LOV, does not save state)" and tried to avoid wrapping, but no luck - is there a way around this (other than performing the report query using a huge DECODE clause, which somewhat renders the LOV useless except for data entry)?
Thanks in advance for any ideas,

  • Cisco ACS Server . Download Evaluation Version For Testing.

    Hello.
I want to try to install ACS server for windows to check how this is working with Microsoft AD. Does anyone know where i can download an evaluation version of Cisco ACS Server for Windows ?

    Hello Michael-
The ACS version for Windows is no longer available. The product is EOL/EOS:
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/security/secure-access-control-server-windows/end_of_life_notice_c51-664639.html
The product was replaced with a Linux based version (5.x) and it is a lot easier of a product to install and manage.
If you want to evaluate the product I would recommend that you contact your local Cisco partner:

  • How to occupy all available space for a table

I have a page fragment as shown below.
    Panel Group Layout - Scroll
    - Panel Header
    --- query component
    --- spacer
    --- Panel Collection
    ---- ADF Readonly Table
I put this region in a jspx file like this
    Panel Stretch Layout
    - center contains region
Obviously table does not occupy all the available space as there is no AutoHeightRows setting on table, and Panel Group Layout and Panel Header will not stretch it's children. It seems like there is no option to achieve this with ADF layout components.
    Chandresh

    Chandresh,
For a faster response either reply in one of the pattern threads or, if the question does not apply specifically to one of the functional patterns, the post to the JDeveloper and ADF forum.
It is not clear exactly what your question is. However, if I guess correctly, something like the following is desired?
Remove Panel Group Layout - Scroll from the fragment. Add the Panel Stretch Layout as the outer layout component of the fragment. When a Named Criteria Data Control is dropped into the Top facet of the Panel Stretch Layout, a Panel Group Layout and Panel Header are added automatically.
For the top facet of the Panel Stretch Layout, set the height to something that will show all of the search fields. This depends on the number of columns you have. Set the other facets to auto.
Add the Panel Collection containing the table to the Center facet of the Panel Stretch Layout.
Add the fragment to a taskflow.xml file and that file to the jspx file as desired. That should get close to what you want.

  • Server 2008 Fax Server console doesn't show outgoing faxes

We are sending faxes from Windows XP clients through our Server 2008 Fax Server. Most of the faxes are sent, however the Server Fax Console never shows any faxes as being sent. The Fax Console does show the Incoming faxes that have been received. What can I do to get a log of the outbound faxes so we know they were sent successfully?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the post.
Please perform the following steps to check it:
    Open Fax Service Manager.
In the left pane, right-click Fax, and then click Properties.
        3.  On the Archives tab, please check the "Archive all faxes to this folder" item, and the sent faxes will be stored in this folder.
In addition, you could also use the following method enable activity logging for a fax server.
    Open Fax Service Manager.
In the left pane, right-click Fax, and then click Properties.
On the Activity Logging tab, select the Log incoming fax activity check box to start logging incoming faxes and the
Log outgoing fax activity check box to start logging outgoing faxes.
You should receive an alert that the Fax service needs to be stopped and then restarted. If you do not, then right-click
Fax, click Stop, right-click Fax again, and then click
    Start.
    Thanks,
    Miles
This is not a fix for this issue.  I would hardly call this a workaround.  We have admins that need to address fax sending issues when the faxes don't go through.  Seeing the global outbox and sent items is a must for us.  It needs to be
available from the fax console so the admin (secretary types, not IT admins) can review the issues.

  • Available space for software upgrade

To install the current upgrade for IOS7, it says I need 896 GB of space available.   I have a 16GB Iphone5.  I delete a ton of pics and just about all music.  Music is still saying there is 9.4 gigs after clearing out all but maybe 2 CD's.  What is going on?  I am hating this phone more and more every day out of frustration.

First Restore your iPhone using iTunes ...Your memory will be sufficient to download the new iOS after the Restore.

  • I have an 8gb ipod touch and I downloaded 3 movies from itunes on to my ipod. I dont have enough available space for all three movies. How do I stop or cancel a download after it has already began? And what will happen if I cannot cancel download.

Im trying to stop or cancel a movie download from itunes on my ipod. Does anyone know how to do this???

On your syncing cmputer go to iTunesStore>Check for available downloads.  They shoud go there if problems dowloading them to yur iPod.

  • Available space for lion

can't install lion, tries to install up to about the 30 min mark then gives an "install failed" error giving me useless feedback, never used bootcamp, never raided my drive.
I deleted programs (backed up of course) and now have 13gb free, however when I select the drive in disk utility
and select partition tab, it says I have 4gb free  ??  Which may be the reason why I can't install Lion.
Any input?  If all else fails, I'll try to find my leopard disk/snow leopard upgrade disks, do a restore/factory settings then install Lion from there, then time machine from my backup drive but rather not go through all the hassle.

I do find it interesting that I get different results when checking my memory via "info", "Activity Monitor" and "Terminal".  But not nearly as huge of discrepancies as you.
Do you get the same results in terminal using "df -H"?

  • What are the limits of available space for a document on Pages?

Hi, I use Microsoft Office Word and I have a problem.
I have a Word file of 48,000 pages, but I do not support, around 30 to 32,000 pages literally mad.
Apparently more than 32 MB, which is the limit of width of document writing with Word.
Let me know if Pages, the Apple Macintosh writing program, has the same limit of 32 MB or even larger documents can support, because then switch to that.
    Thanks.

Microsoft Word will easily work on documents larger than 48,000 pages (you can create documents of poractically unlimited size).  It's best not to exceed 2,000 pages in a single file: although you can go to 5,500 or so if you have a sufficiently powerful computer.  The old "32 MB" limit no longer applies: that was a limitation of the file system way back, and applied only to the "text" portion of the file, not the graphics.  On 64-bit OS X or Windows you can go way above that if your disk is fast enough.
However, as mentioned by the other poster, it really isn't a good idea to allow a document to get that large.  Research proves that the ability of someone to use a document deteriorates rapidly when it passes 250 pages, so at that point, you should be looking to redesign your publication.
It is also true that a 48,000-page document represents 96 man-years of effort, well over ten million dollars of investment.  When you have that much investment at risk, it is essential to have at least one highly-skilled Documentation Engineer on the project, because the difficulty of creating such a document rises quite sharply with size and complexity.
Microsoft Word will do documents this size, and so will Adobe FrameMaker.  Each of them requires high skills to use effectively on such large projects.
If you care to hop on over to here:
    http://www.officeformac.com/ProductForums/Word/
We will be happy to show you how to do this in Word.

  • Error in "Checking Availabe Space for the DB2 UDB for Unix..." phase

    Hello,
We are in the middle of an Upgrade proyect from R/3 4.6C (kernet 4.6D EXT) to ECC 6.0.
As a first step we are doing an Heterogenous System Copy to migrate from servers with HP-UX B11.11/Informix 9.4 to servers with AIX 5.3/DB2 UDB 8.
We already did the database import with no errors. When we are installing R3 4.6C in the target server we are getting u201CMemory Fault (coredump)u201D error in the u201CChecking Availabe Space for the DB2 UDB for Unix, Windows Tablespacesu201D phase.
    Any advice will be appreciated.

  • Creating domain and Excahnge mailbox , Fax Server etc.. to small busiiness

    Hi ,
I would like to create to my costumer who has 2 computer (Win 8.1 on both: one laptop and one is a desktop computer) by his demand a domain which will contain of course his company's name (I did check the domain availability on one of the Domain web
checkers) and of course a mailbox and fax server or fax2mail option which will allow all faxes being sent - to get to his inbox and not to a fax machine.
However I wonder what roles should I add (I guess the the following roles are necessary:
    *DHCP
    *DNS
    *Fax Server
*also there is a need to install the Exchange (maybe on some other computer)
I haven't mentioned that I created a server 2012 on a desktop computer i5 processor,   with 10GB RAM, 500GB HD capacity .. Not a "super server" but this server/computer can meanwhile "provides the merchandising"
    Please assist here :)
    Thanks in Advanved :)

    Hi,
Based on your description, I understand that you want to set up the Windows Server 2012 as DC and deploy Active
Directory environment. Then, add some roles (DHCP, DNS and Fax Server) and Exchange Server on the Server 2012 DC. If anything I misunderstand, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Please refer to following threads and articles, then check if can help you.

For installing exchange server on DC, it is not recommended.
    Installing
Exchange on a domain controller is not recommended
In addition, please also refer to following thread and check if provide you more detailed suggestions of roles
    installation.

    Hope this helps.

  • Windows 2008 R2 Fax Server (Ongoing issue)

I have a Windows 2008 R2 active directory, fax services work inbound through USB modem - have 50 Windows 7 clients connecting to the fax server and outbound faxing works.  Here's the issue:  After a few days, the clients start getting server disconnected
on the fax clients.  When I go to the Server, I restart the fax services, even though no event viewer shows any error's.  I do see inbound fax errors of some not received, but these are not consistent when this happens.
I restart the fax services (by restarting print spooler service), and clients still show disconnected.  If I remove the account from the Windows 7 Fax client and try to add it back - I get the "You do not have security permissions to complete this
operation. Contact your fax administrator for more information".
Now, I reboot the windows 2008 R2 server and fax services work again inbound and outbound, and I can reconnect the Windows 7 Fax client that I previously removed.  UAC is turned off, Domain Admins full control to Fax server permission, and domain users
    have fax permissions.
This issue has happened over the last 3 weeks, I've uninstalled Fax roles, and reinstalled many times prior and followed the fax setup step by step on techarticles - like I stated, the fax services work then stop, and rebooting the server allows the faxing
to work again.  This server does house Exchange 2010 SP3, but the only thing effected or having issues on this box is Fax services.  Any suggestions to look?

    Hi ITQ_Jhays,
Please go to Control Panel -> Printers and share the fax printer.
A similar discussion is for your reference:
I can't connect to fax server from client computers.
If there is anything else regarding this issue, please feel free to post back.
    Best Regards,
    Anna Wang

i recently upgraded my memory to 2gb to support download of lion. i am now receiving this message when i try to download lion:

    Hi, Rick.
Your MacBook's hard drive is too full to accommodate Lion. How big is your hard drive, and how much space remains available on it?
It sounds as if you may be confusing RAM with hard drive space.
Check out this article on the subject:
    http://www.ehow.com/about_5452977_computer-memory-vs-storage.html
It is generally recommended to keep a minimum of 15% of the total capacity of your hard drive as available space for smooth operation of your Mac.
