Cisco Finesse- Agent Unable to Login

Hi,
When I connect Finesse Webpage for loggin, the system displays "Invalid ID or password. Please try again.". But I make sure the ID and password are correct.
In Team Resource tab, I just only see Default with ID 1.
Anybody know this issue?

Hi all,
I opened TAC case and the engineer looked that the Peripheral ID had been wrong. And I changed it and fixed issue.

    I've encountered with problem that Cisco Security Agent unable to close port TCP/135 on windows PC (XP or Win7).
    I've configured rule module Network Access Control to prevent all client/server connections to port tcp/135.
    I've checked my policy using nmap, so this port (TCP/135) during 20 minutes shows as filtered and i can see log in monitor event on CSA MC, during next 20 minutes it show as opened and no log shows. (time not exact, so it maybe 30 minutes or 5,it varies)
    Can anyone explain how TCP/135 works and is it possible to close it using CSA?

    There is another question for the same issue on the forums (see: CSA 6.0.2.145 problem with windows 7 firewall). I wrote:-
    "I went ahead and tested this in the lab with winXP and CSA 602-149 (latest). I defined a rule with DENY tcp/135 and ran the nmap and it reports opened (wireshark shows syn-ack to the syn). I changed it to a PRIORITY DENY and now the nmap reports closed (wireshark shows reset to the syn). Via the cli, netstat -an shows the pc listening on tcp/135 & disabling CSA the syn gets the syn-ack response. To me this implies a couple of defect. 1: The DENY should block syn to tcp135 & 2: CSA should not send reset (it should be reset). Is it possible to open a TAC case and put my name (mwinnett) in it and I will open a defect."

  • CAD Agent Unable to Login due PGUser Association in CUCM

    Hi all, hope everyone is well.
    I am running a UCCE 7.5.8 environment with CAD 7.5.8 and CUCM 7.1.3 I am having some CAD agent suddenly unable to login to CAD due the following error "An unknow failure was receved from the Cisco Unified Communication Manager. You may have entered an incorrect ID, password, or extension. Verify your entries are correct and try again."
    The fix is to dis-associate and re-associate the device with the PGUser in CUCM even though the device shows it's already associated with the PGUser. Has anyone run into this issue ? I am trying to understand the root cause.

    Hi,
    yes, unfortunately, I have seen this many times working with the ICM 7.x or 7.5.x release train. Always talked to TAC, always installed an ES, but somehow, mystically, the problem went away when upgraded to ICM 8.0(x).
    Looks like a design flaw.

  • Agent unable to login

    I have an agent that has been working but now all of the sudden she is getting "An extension on the agent phone is shared with one or more other devices. This configuration is not supported." when trying to logon to Agent Desktop with IP Communicator. She is setup with Ext Mobility and uses a 7960 for a desk phone and IP communicator when virtual. Both phones are setup for Ext Mobility and she logs out of them when switching from one to the other. 
    She is able to log on to the agent desktop when using the 7960, but not the IP communicator.
    Any ideas?

    Based on your requirements, there are several ways to prevent Agents  from encountering shared lines in an Extension Mobility environment:
    1. Do not allow EM device profiles share the same extension. This can be checked by looking at the configurations in CUCM.
    1. Log into CUCM
    2. Go to Call Routing > Directory Number
    3. Search for extension
    4. Look at the number of devices in the "Associated Devices" box. Ensure that only one device exist.
    2. Disallow the ability for users to log into multiple phones  with the same EM user profile simultaneously. This configuration is  located in Cisco Unified CM (CUCM) Service Parameter configurations:
    1. Log into CUCM
    2. Go to System > Service Parameters
    3. Select CUCM server and "Cisco Extension Mobility" as the service
    4. Change the "Intra-cluster Multiple Login Behavior" to either "Multiple Logins Not Allowed" or "Auto Logout"
    3. For CIPC EM users, mandate that users explicitly log out of  his/her EM profiles before closing CIPC. Closing CIPC without logging  out of EM will still have the extension associated with the device.
    4. Configure a timer for EM profiles to logout an EM user  after a certain amount of time. The logout timer will ensure that the EM  user is logged out even if the user closes CIPC without explicitly  logging out. Note that this will logout the EM user even when he/she the  EM device is currently active. Must configure in CUCM Service  Parameters:
    1. Log into CUCM
    2. Go to System > Service Parameters
    3. Select CUCM server and "Cisco Extension Mobility" as the service
    4. Change the "Intra-cluster Maximum Login Time" to a time.
    5. Go to User Management > End User
    6. Search for username associated with the EM profile
    7. Add EM profile to the "CTI Controlled Device Profiles" box.

    1. Agent's Phone has a shared line (IPCC extension) which is shared amongst more than one phone.
    2. An extension on agent's phone is not unique. The same extension is configured on different partitions in CUCM.

  • Cisco WCS Server unable to login

    Hi ,
    I have a Cisco WCS 4.x Server installed on Windows Server.I am not able to login to the WCS Server through Root username password. I have recover the root password through WCS password recovery procedure.After the password recovery i was able to login to the WCS and it started working with the new password.
    The problem repeats everytime.I have recovered password around 4 to 5 times and after some days again the same issue means i am not able to login to the server.
    I wanted to know whether the password gets expired automatically or is there any issue with the database due to which password gets reset automatically.
    One thing i have observed if i change the password through recovery procedure it works for some time and again after some days i am not able to login.
    Please advice me in this issue.

  • IPCC 3.5: Agent unable to login

    I have a user getting this error message:
    Cisco Agent Desktop
    The agent ID is invalid
    He is setup in call manager. His AD username is associated to his phone. His phone is associated to the rmjtapi user. He is setup as both a supervisor and an agent in IPCC. He can successfully launch his Supervisor Desktop. I've gone so far as to completely delete and rebuild his phone and re-register it. He still gets the same error. Any suggestions?

    To resolve this issue, choose from one of these options:
    Share the Program Files\Cisco\Desktop_Config\Desktop folder on the CRS server and provide sufficient rights for the agent. This enables the Cisco Agent Desktop to automatically update the JTAPI client with the correct version when it attempts to log in.
    Manually copy the JTAPI client from the CRS server Program Files\Cisco\Desktop_Config\Desktop\Agentins\JTAPI\jtapi.jar and overwrite it onto the agent desktop Program Files\Cisco\Desktop\bin\CiscoJTAPIClient\Lib\jtapi.jar.
    Run this Java Update utility on the CRS server: Start > Programs > CRA Admin > JTAPI Update utility. Whenever a client logs in, this verifies and updates the JTAPI.

  • Cisco Agent Desktop, unable to login

    I have a new installation of UCCX 8.0.2 SU3 HA and twice now it has been reported that in the morning agents are unable to login to CAD, the error they receive is "Initialization Failed. Please try again or try restarting the application."
    The only thing I have found in each situation was to re-start the UCCX engine on the master server. If I am running realtime reports I also see "not connected" when trying to look at resources, CSQs or overall UCCX stats. Once the engine has been restarted agents login fine and real time reports shows "fully connected"
    Has anyone experienced this before and know of a way to prevent this from happening?

    Hi Everyone,
    I experienced the same issue today on UCCX 8.0 SU3. All the agents were getting Initialization Failed error.
    I restared the UCCX engine on both the servers and agents are able to login now. I am interested in finding out the root cause and a permanent fix for it.
    Has anyone found a solution to it?
    I could find the following but matching the problem description but it's in TERMINATED state and moreover I am on MCS and not on VMware.

    I'm unable to login to Finesse as an agent. The error message is:
    "The device associated with that extension or dial number is invalid."
    The device in question is a 7960 (I'm pretty sure this isnt supported by Finesse) but I thought Finesse had an integrated softphone?

  • CAD - Unable to login agent due to problems in JTAPI or CM

    Hi Guys,
    I have the next issue: I have a 7911 that is not connecting to JTAPI. I know that this is an issue on the config of the CM, but I have double checked and I have the phone added on the JTAPI user.
    This phone uses extension mobility also, but every time I login with a valid CAD user I get that error.
    I have changed the phone on that cad, and with a different phone it works fine.

    Thanks for the answer. This Week I  reboot this CUCM, but the issue remains. I also tried stoping the CTI manager process, but didnt help.
    The version of the CUCM is: 6.1.2.1000-13
    The version of the IPCCX is: 5.0(2)SR01_Build053
    I checked if the User's Device Profile was associated, I'm not sure if it is. I enter the user device profile and then I check that this user was assosiated with CTIManager. Do this means that this profile is associated?
    Please let me know if anyone have had any similar issue.

  • Outbound Call in Cisco Finesse

    Anybody please help what all configuration to be done in Finesse to do the outbound calls.
    I am using Cisco UCCX 10.0, in which i have both the option for Cisco CAD and Finesse. When i run a outbound campaign its coming as an incoming call in Finesse.
    When i answer the call, its showing the error "Unable to communicate with Enterprise Server. Outbound option not available".
    Please help how to enable the outbound controls in Finesse

  • Cisco Finesse Desktop automatically logout

    Hi all,
    I am using Cisco Finesse version 10. Currently, one agent is available in Finesse Desktop. If new another agent logins with same agent ID (type  wrong  agent ID), the agent is signed out automatically. It is not convenient for the agent who have to login again.
    Anybody know how to disable this behavior.

  • Cisco Finesse 9.0 desktop log file collection !

    Hi All,
      I am having a issue in collection of Cisco Finesse Desktop logs.
      I am refereing this guide Cisco Finesse Installation and Getting Started Guide Release 9.0(1) Page No 24.
      when i am using the command --file get activelog desktop recurs compress on the CLI of Finesse Server. First it was asked IP address of SFTP Server,
      then, Login ID and Password, then PORT, then location of root file, but i am not geting anything on that location of Log.
      I have attached her with the log file collection screen shot. Please have a look and suggest a solution.

    Option 2: Turn off SYN Flood detection mode. Risk: Leaves the server open to SYN Flood.
    I have checked and my Windows XP SP3 computer where Cisco Agent Desktop is installed has Windows Firewall set to off at the moment.

    After upgrading UCM 8.6 to 10.5 and UCCX 8.5 to 10.5 I can't add new agents. I have installed second UCCX and reused CTI and RMCM users, registered CIPC, created end-user, configured IPCC extension and set CIPC in controlled devices on end user and rmcm user. DN is not a shared line. When I try to login to CAD it asks to associate the phone with RM JTAPI provider user. Agents created before upgrade works fine. I see the following traces:

    I have tried to disassociate and associate the phone with rmcm user and even rebooted UCCX, how can i troubleshoot this problem furher?

    It sounds like the upgrade is irrelevant here, and what we're really troubleshooting is your second UCCX installation which is using the same accounts as your first UCCX installation.
    Of course, I've been around long enough to know that communication breakdowns are common, and you may have not meant that.
    For example, maybe what you meant was, you added an HA node?  But if not, and you really installed a new instance while reusing the existing credentials, I would suggest creating new app users for your new UCCX and not sharing them.

    Am unable to login the Jabber Windows Client. Getting the error as "Unable to Communicate With the Server".
    Able to login with CUPS & CUCM end user page. CUCM Integrated with LDAP.
    While going through the UP Profile logs seen that "Failed to SOAP login".
    Tried with restart of CUCM & CUPS several times but no go.
    CUCM Version - 8.6.2
    CUPS Version - 8.6.1
    Tried with CUPC client result also same.

    If credentials work on CCMuser CUPSuser I would suspect either some kind of communication problem between the clients and the servers and/or misconfiguration (user/device/line association, device owner, roles, CTI/CCMCIP profiles, etc) on CUCM/CUPS.
    Specially because you mention the same happens with CUPC.
