Cisco/go/license DOWN?

Hi I am trying to access the licensing page to obtain license from my PAK key urgently. It says internal server error when I access www.cisco/go/license

Hi Not too sure if your orgnial issue was a typo however as Rob indicates http://cisco.com/go/license  redirects to https://tools.cisco.com/SWIFT/Licensing/PrivateRegistrationServlet.

    Is Cisco Enterprise License Manager the samething as Cisco License Manager? I just want to make sure I am downloading the correct thing to work with CUCM 9.0. This is the only thing I was able to find in the Support downloads when logged in with my CCO:

    And thus, same HW requirements as CUCM if you want to do a standalone install.
    Otherwise, just use the one that will get installed with CUCM or CUC.

  • Cisco BE6000 Licensing

    Dear all,
    I have a question concerning Cisco BE6000 licensing. I'ts clear that MD server support 1000 users and 1200 devices.
    In this case, Can I add additional phones from UPM or CUCM without being associated to a user ? Means,that I can have 200 additional phones without users and 1000 users associated to a phone.
    Can I add a phone directly from CUCM and not from UPM ? Does UPN updated directly its users and phone directory from CUCM ?

    BE6000 licensing is based on licensing users and unassociated  devices.  An unassociated phone still consumes the "User Connect  License" that is required for that type of phone.  You are correct in  saying that the MD server does support up to 1200 devices, so as long as  you are licensing and deploying no more than 1,000 users (think total  and configured licenses/users) and 1,200 devices... Then you are in good  shape.
    I presume that you are using Cisco Prime Collaboration  Provisioning (PCP) instead of the older UPM.  With CPC, you can add  phones and users into UCM and they will be "synced" over to CPC at the  next configured sync schedule.  No problem.
    It is still  a good idea, from a change management perspective, to add/move/change  user services in CPC.  It will keep track of everything that has been  done to/for a user.

    seeking help to reduce our ISE licensing cost, actually we are out budget and we planning to order ISE licenses less than what we required, and looking for efficiently using the same, is there any way, i mean if we reduce "user idle timeout" is it reduce our license consumption?

    License Count
    A Cisco ISE user consumes a license during an active session. Once the sessions has ended, ISE releases the license for reuse by another user.
    The Cisco ISE license is counted as follows:
    A Base, Plus, or Advanced license is consumed based on the feature that is used.
    An endpoint with multiple network connections can consume more than one license per MAC address. For example, a laptop connected to wired and also to wireless at the same time. Licenses for VPN connections are based on the IP address.
    Licenses are counted against concurrent, active sessions. An active session is one for which a RADIUS Accounting Start is received but RADIUS Accounting Stop has not yet been received.

  • Not showing dashboard in cisco Enterprise License Manger

    Dear All,
    i have install CUCM 9.1 in UCS BE6000K
    while installation i select only CUCM and installtion done
    but when i access the CUCM after entering the ip address in the brower it's showing CUCM and Enterprise License Manger
    CUCM is working fine i configured few parameter
    issue when i click on Enterprise LIcense Manger i log in it's showing noting is there in the GUI page i can see only on top of the page left side corner Enterprise license manger and in right side top of the corner log in , about etc.
    why is not showing this parameter like monitoring, dashboard, license usage,license management, inventory,administrion in  the Enterprise License Manger

    Cisco ER 7.x system with centerized CUCM 7.1(x) cluster for multiple sites over WAN, where each site has local voice gateway (MGCP) with T1/PRI connected. All the phones are DIDs.
    When considering 911 calls redundancy when CER is down, Cisco ER administration guide recommends using Local Route Group for 10911 or something else route-pattern on CUCM which is used:

    To configure LRG, follow these steps:
    1. On Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration, configure the LRG route pattern and route point for 911 emergency call routing.

    3. On Cisco ER Administration, configure the LRG route pattern as the default ERL.
    My question is:
    On the 10911 route-pattern using LRG, how can configure the each site ELIN number as the calling number on the route-pattern which is normally assigned on E911 partition only? or do I need change MGCP to H.323 in order to achieve this purpose?
    Do I miss something?

    I am not sure with in obiee it is possible? But third party tool we can do it.
    Site scope monitor tool is there, what this tool will do it will send the alert mail to respective team whenever services are down.

  • Cisco prime license confusion

         Hi I have installed cisco prime 1.2 to manage router, AP, controller, switch and ISE
    and I am confused wiht license
    I have this 3 item
    1. L-PILMS42-100
    2. L-PINCSW11-100                  
    3. L-PINCS11-100
    I have already genereted and added item 3 on prime and it work
    I gererated item 1 but I cannont add it on cisco prime, he dont reconnize the file
    I am unnable to add my ISE on cisco prime
    Do I need special licence fro ISE
    Do I need to add the 3 license
    Please advise

    Do you want to use Prime Infrastructure or Prime LMS to manage the Catalyst 2960 switches? In either case it is possible - simply add the devices manually or discover them. Procedure for PI is here. Procedure for LMS is here.
    The ISE appliances are not manageable in any but the most basic sense as they are not a supported Cisco device (for either Prime Infrastructure or Prime LMS) and will be seen the same as a generic non-Cisco deivce. i.e., only SNMP polling and traps (and, with LMS, potentially syslog data).

    I would like to backup the license file to apply for a fresh installation on the same hardware (3355). Is that possible? I tried resetting the configuration from the CLI and the license was excluded, it was necessary to do a restore.

  • Cisco AP 1100 down frequently

    Dear all,
    I have problem with my AP. I'm using 3 cisco 1100 AP for my connection. All of the AP using one SSID named "PASO" and act as root (connected with wired LAN). From yesterday my AP always down frequently. Client can't find any available network. Sometimes it can up for 1-2 hour but sometimes after 5 minutes it down again. I have to restart the hardware so the Access Point can UP again. In one day i can restart the H/W about 10-15 times. Before the problem occured things are running well.
    Any one can help me ?

    First try to reset the device and reconfigure it. If doesnt fix the issue then plan to upgrade the IOS of the access point. Make sure you backup the configurations before you do these steps.     Hello,
    We are trying to design a wireless solutions in our infrastructure and we would like to implement WCS as well.
    As I have seen, this has changed to Cisco Prime.
    However in my understanding, Cisco Prime is a mixture of LMS, CSM, WCS, QPM, NAM and a lot more.
    What is the minimum license we need to obtain to get the WCS flavor of Prime?
    Is there a wireless only with ISE integration license file?

    The Prime Infrastructure offering that most closely maps to old WCS/NCS capabilities is achieved with Base plus Lifecycle license.

    I have a question
    I have a wlc 5508 with license base to a capacity 100 AP. I have already registered 65 AP, and now  I need to register in to wlc 57 AP more.
    I would like to install a license of evaluation by 30 days. After that i'm going to purchase a new license to support all my APs.
    Please could you tell me how many AP adder the capacity in the WLC the license of evaluation?
    The license of evaluation are base or ap-count?

  • Need help on cisco CUCM license issue

    Hi Team,
    I am using 9.0 version CUCM . This machine i have cloned from some other CUCM .So after logging into to CUCM web admin i am getting an error like The system is operating with an insufficient number of licenses. Configure  additional licenses in your Enterprise License Manager in order to restore the  ability to provision users and devices. So i tried to login to ELM Manager for applying license .But ELM is giving an error like invalid username and password. I am using the same username and password which i used to login into cucm web admin .
    So can some one please help on this issue.

    Unknown username and password for  Enterprise License Manager login
    Description
    I  do not know the username and password of the system when it was  originally installed, so I cannot log into Enterprise License Manager.
    Resolution
    Log into the platform CLI with the OS administration credentials and use the license management list users command to view the username to use for signing into the Enterprise  License Manager application. If you are not sure what the password is  for this username, you can use the license  management change user password command to change this password.

  • Cisco Messaging Interface down

    Hi all,
    I'm having an issue on a CUCM machine running 6.0.1.2112-1. If I run the RTMT I get to see numerous of alerts saying:
    'Service status is DOWN.
    Cisco Messaging Interface...'
    The alert keeps popping up every 30 seconds.
    Can anyone tell me what the cause of this alert could be, and how it can be solved?

    I assume that you are using Cisco Unity/Unity Connection/Unity Express for the voicemail platform. If so, you will not need the Cisco Messaging Interface service and you can deactivate it from the serviceability pages. The service is only needed for external voicemail systems that are not Cisco.

    Hi,
    If i am buying Cisco IPS with three year warranty then the license file i get for the sensor is for lifetime or for three years ?
    I have heard that the IPS will continue to receive updates even after 3 years  and is a lifetime license 
    Is this correct ?

    Cisco IPS has both the license (right to use) component and the software subscription (updates to signatures and engine from Cisco).
    The subscription is based on a fixed term (1 year, 3 year etc.) and will not continue once the term has expired.
    You can use the system (with older signatures etc.) indefinitely.
