Cisco MPE server reboots all the time.

We installed Cisco MPE two months ago:
[root@mpe bin]# mpx_version
List Cisco Unified Communications Product
==============================================
Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express "2.1.1.2" ...
Untill last week it worked fine.
Suddenly it has started to reboot every 10-15 min. since last Friday.
At the moment it looks like MPE software problem becauce after we stop MPE services through CLI using command:
/opt/cisco/meetingplace_express/bin/mpx_sys stop
server stops reboot also.
I can't find any good MPE troubleshooting  guides.
So people any ideas, please ?

I think you've done all you can yourself.
If you have an Apple store, can you make a Genius appointment and take it in - they may be able to test it.
They might even have a little flexibility if the issue started just out of warranty - no harm trying.
There was a rumour of a bad batch of AppleTVs but I've never seen official confrimation of this. See:

  • How to restore an iPad when it is rebooting all the time and cannot connect to iTunes

Two days ago, I was updating applications. The iPad crashed during the process so I did a hard rebood. Since then, the iPad is in a perpetual reboot mode.
Once in a while, I get the security keypad but as soon as my password is put, the iPad freezes and then, goes in reboot.
We tried to connect to iTunes on our MacBook Pro but the connection is often not possible because of the reboot.
A few times, we were able to see the iPad menu and even tried a restore from iTunes.  iTunes downloaded the iOS 6.1.3 again (over multiple connection/reconnections) but no help. The iPad is still rebooting all the time.
    What can I do?

Send the iPad into DFU mode and then restore it through iTunes.
Google the instructions on how to place your iPad into DFU mode.

  • I have downloaded iOS 7.1 but now my phone just reboots all the time, how do I fix this?

I have downloaded iOS 7.1 but now my phone just reboots all the time, how do I fix this?

    Hi Will555uk,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If your iPhone is restarting unexpectedly, I recommend starting with step three in this troubleshooting guide:
    iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2802
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.
    Best,
    Jeremy

  • Should have the server "on" all the time?

    Hi,
I would like to know if I have to leave my computer on all the time if I put the serveur solution on my computer? Or do we have a kind of cloud solution with it?
    Many thanks for your help.
    Manu

    Manu
If you are changing a workstation to a server and plan to use it both ways, the day to day user of that workstation will see slowdowns to some extent because of the server activity.
If you plan to have the computer turned off then you may want to look at file sharing hosts on the web if that type of service exists.
Otherwise this can be done relatively easily.
Set up the file sharing on the server.  Leave it on.  That way if you do what follows, anyone with proper access can get to the files at any time they might need it.
Put the items to be shared in a "shared" folder in the server and set up the permissions for that folder to only allow access to the people you want.
Set up VPN access for people off of the network to securely get into the network and server.  This step may be handled by a router or a router may need to be set up to port forward VPN connections to your server.
This way a secure VPN is set up, the user outside of the network can connect to the server, and get the files needed at any time.

  • 8703e Reboots all the time

My Verizon 8703e reboots - without any input from me.  Of course, it usually happens at the most inconvenient time (waiting for a call or text message).  Then I wait the usual 5+ minutes for the reboot to complete.
    Is this normal?

    Hi
My iPod was updating in its dock when it suddenly
    felt out and rebooted.
But when the lighted Apple-logo appeared again it
felt out again. Now its doing that constantly.
I've tryed to reset the iPod but whithout succes. My
Mac also doesnt read my iPod annymore.
Then I've waited for the battery to be empty, charged
the iPod with the adapter, but it starts to boot all
    the time.
I've been allways very very carefully with my iPod so
it cant be from falling. I've never installed iPod
    linux or something unofficially.
Are there other people ho had my problem?
I've got an iPod photo 60 Gb.
    Thanx in advance.

    hi
im having the same problem, i updated my ipod to the latest OS. all went fine, i turned off the ipod and laptop and came back later on and reconnected it.
The i pod connected fine but i had to reboot my computer. i disconnected the ipod correctly, and reconnected it once the laptop was restarted.
Now it is stuck in a constant state of try to startup but cant so turns off, then trys to restart again. the apple logo is constantly there on the screen.
Reseting it doesn't work and im now waiting for the battery to go flat. If you have any luck fixing yours, can you let me know. All i can think of doing is to now get it serviced.

  • Please fix a proper driver for the Audigy 2 ZS Videoeditor, I'm tired of rebooting all the time

For several months now, I have fought a battle against crackling and popping noise and I have not won yet. When booting up, the soundcard works and produces nice sound to my stereo receiver, but as soon as I start a new program or the screensaver starts the sound start sounding horribly with lots of crackling. The only way to fix it is to reboot but then after a while the crackling starts and it's back to rebooting.
I have contacted support who advised me to update the bios, which I did. I have also tried several cleansweeps, finetuning of memory handling etc. Nothing works.
I think it's about time to release an updated driver that works, because current version does not seem to work at all. I have seen on this forum that there are several others suffering from the same problem.
    Anyone has some other ideas?
    Thanks!

  • My iPad won't charge, reboots all the time and is stuck at 1% battery.

Since last evening, my Ipad hasn't been charging at all. When connected to a wall charger it recognizes that the charger is connected but normally there is a lightning icon that keeps blinking when the Ipad is charging correctly, that is not the case right now. The battery has been showing 1% since morning but its on and there is no low battery alert. Also yesterday the iPad kept rebooting every two minutes, today it has happened only a couple of times since morning. I have tried restore, hard reset, updating the software to iOS6, everything and still no luck.
Has anyone else faced this issue? What could be causing this?
    Thanks
    Priyesha

Yes, we all seem to have the same problem but nobody has offered a solution.  I've tried two different chargers, but it wont charge.  It seems to recognize that it is plugged into a charger and shows the lightning bolt but it's constant not flashing. If I unplug the charger then a plug appears next to the lightning bolt.
It seem that the connector inside the iPad might be broken...or it's some kinda software iOS thing as somone mentioned earlier...but I dont know how to get the iOS to reset when I cant see the screen.
    Any thoughts

  • N8 rebooting all the time when entering programs f...

    Hi,
i got a nasty problem. My n8 keeps rebooting when i go too the folder where all my programs are... on the c drive there is 127 mb free so no memory shortage problem. I do think it might have to do with a program i installed when this started to happen the program is called love match: biorythm <-- sucky entertainment app btw. But how can i uninstall this if i cant enter my programs folder? And anybody any other ideas what could have made this happen?
ive run appstop and it doesnt shows anything unusual being on.
*edit i uninstalled love match: biorythm <-- made a shortcut too application thingie on the homescreen but it still freezes when i go too the programs folder....
everything els works fine going to internet opening applications threw shortcuts on homescreen just going too that folder crashes my phone..
it just freezes and then reboots

I'm having the same issue for more than a month.  When it's not open it's draing the cpu making the pc run slow and when open the cpu is maxxed at 100% that the I can barely use the computer and can't sync.  And I only use it to back up and sync.  Just downloaded the new version today thinking it would help but it didn't.  Interesting to see if anyone has any answers.

  • Phone reboots all the time

Anyone know why the BB Storm 9550 reboots whenever it wants?   This happens all day long.  Help

OK, your file free and OS release are fine.
The next thing to do would be to look at what apps you have installed and if one of those might be causing it.
Another thing... for now, let's try this... place a business card or folded piece of paper over the battery, just lay it on top, and replace the battery cover. There's always a chance the battery has a loose connection, this might hold it tighter.
Try this a day or so and see if the reboots persists.

  • My macbook freezes and wants to be rebooted all the time

A see through black note in several languages appears after the mac freezes and asks me to reboot. Sometimes it happens immediately after I restart, other times I can use the machine some time. I have run the apple hardware test. I have a vague feeling there is something related to iphoto since this program keeps starting to open every time I restart. I have about 1gb free.

This is the log as far as I can see.

  • Complaint-Airplay doesn't allow Output selection of Apple TV. Must reboot all the time.

When watching internet video, like TV, the audio output selection does not work to my Apple TV. Shuting down the internet and starting programing doesn't do anything. Must reboot computer and start over. Apple TV and my MacBook Pro were current software prior to the lastest update in Oct. 2013, and have been updated to the new  versions for both. Same problem. Cannot select the audio output. Selection is there, but 'clicking' on it does nothing. Sound remains on the Mac. After a full reboot, and making the selection BEFORE loading something for Apple TV viewing it works. NOT after you have used the computer or done other things.
FRUSTRATING. APPLE TECHS FIX UR SOFTWARE. I had hoped the new update might resolve....no JOY.

    Hi BDAqua,
Good thought of you, unfortunately it did not work out! I schedule to make a reinstallation of OS 10.3 on my other HardDisk and see if I can get it back to work again. The point is that I can't tell where things went wrong, since updates are carried out automatically by Apple anf I haven't used the Miglia for over a year!
Thanks in any case for your suggestion, and if I found a solution I certainly will report back.
    Hans

  • My iPhone 3GS doesn't take the charge and reboots all the time

my iphone went to deep discharge and now when i connect it
to a computer (Mac or PC) or to a socket it doesn't take the charge ...
sometimes it seems to take the charge (volt icon appears)
but then it boots again and again and i'm stuck into that cycle ..
tried to press both buttons more than 10 seconds without success ...
    Thanks for the help

It sounds like you need a new battery?
    How old is the battery?
I'm not an expert, but I think Li-ion batteries are better at delivering a steady voltage, even at low charge levels (minimizing the 'memory effect'), but once they go bad they drop off a cliff. At least, that's what I've heard.

Then it is loaded apple logo and after a  black screen and again restart Reinstall flash drive he does not see and does not boot into safe mode

We're stuck without an Install Disc or external drive to boot from.
Might be cheaper to get a 10.6 Install Disc.
