Cisco Security has started checking my Emai destinations, where has it come from and is it safe?
When I send an Email Cisco Security has started checking the destination and saying that it may not be safe. Atraffic light comes up for me to click Red for cancel or Green to accept destination as safe. I don't know where this has come from or if it is genuine.
The screenshot is from IE - a browser. How is that related to Thunderbird?

My welcome screen used to have just my name and an icon. Now it has my name on one side and guest user on the other. where did it come from and how do I get rid of it?
Either you enabled the guest user, or you enabled Find My Mac, which requires there to be an active guest account for a thief to log into, so that they'll connect to the internet and allow you to locate it.

I am an IT guy in a Windows environment. We have one user who has brought his MacBook pro and added his Office 365 account to the native Mail app in OSx. The calendar now shows an additional calendar called Time Profile. It seems to serve no purpose, it cannot be deleted and the user is getting repeated pop-ups mentioning 'Caldav error 403'. Any ideas how to remedy this? Thanks in advance.
I have just recently noticed this as well. I have been running one email account on O365 for over a year and until the past couple of days have never noticed it. I now have my iCal pointed at 3 O365 accounts and there is a "Time Profile" calendar for each of them.
They really do not bother me, however, I would very much like to know what the are for.

1st job of the day has to come from local computer
I've bought and installed a Laserjet M125a by usb cable in a windows 7 64 bit computer at my office. I've shared the printer with other computers (XP, 7, 32 and 64 bit) through our LAN (cable and wireless).
Everyday, when we turn everything on in the morning, we can't print from any computer in the LAN. The 1st print job of the day has to come from the computer to which the printer is connected via usb cable. After that 1st print, the other computers in the LAN are able to print.
I have already uninstalled, reinstalled, unshared and reshared it on all computers, but nothing fixed the issue.
Any ideas?
(Sorry for the broken english!)What if she waits another 5 minutes? I suspect some autostart stuff is still loading in the backgrund and slowing the start down.

Hi, I have a Power Book G4 Tiger 10.4.11 and my problem concerns iTunes 9.2.1(5). I have changed my Apple ID and password recently. Since that, I am told, only when I try to buy something in iTunes Store, that my "session has expired". Where does this come from? What should I do to solve this problem ? I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you in advance.
Hi, I am khonthaï. I solved the problem thanks to JHdeVilliers's post on 4 Dec. 2011: I removed all cookies in Safari and it worked immediately !!!

I already mention the TurboACL feature statement. With ACLs, fewer are faster, and how they ordered (especially without TurboACL) impacts CPU. How you order you class-maps, within a policy, and how the match statements are ordered will also have some impact on the CPU load. If buffers are being allocated/deallocated, that too will impact CPU loading. I assume CEF is enabled, but for some traffic, flow caching might decrease CPU load.Remember a software based router, like the 7200s, are, more or less, a computer that takes your configuration and determines what's to be done with every packet it "sees". The more your configuration requires for per packet analysis, the more load for each packet. There are whitepapers addressing high CPU load caused by "process switching", but what you posted appears to be mostly all interrupt processing, which is "fast path", or optimal, packet forwarding. There's not much you can normally do to improve against that, other than insuring your configuration is as optimal as possible for your needs (again, things like sequencing/ordering of statements).
hi ,
thanks very very much for this nice information,
let me answer you :
you said that NPE G2 has finite capacity , but how to know this full capacity ???
i mean that my policy map is matching the traffic , but the matched traffic is not being enhancemend ??!!!
last about two weeks , the matched traffic of youtube was excellent and no interrupt durting the my rush hour.
i didnt change any thing, but my bw increased from 730 Mbps to 760Mbps ,
im un able to make sure that i need to chnage my platform to faster one.
agian
my cpu is 60 % without QOS
after QOS it increase to 80-85 %
agian ,
about NBAR
i want to tell you that i cant depend on NBAR , as an example , im matching the ips of videos of facebook , i cant depend on NBAR because it is https videos.
but in summary ,
my qos is matching well , but i have no real enhancement for my traffic.
did you face my issue before ???
i mean have you see like my problem ?
like my router platform with cpu over 80 % and 750Mbps , and matched qos without good result ??
note that i upgraded to iso 15 , but seems same issue !!!

Where has variance come from?
hi,
i was wondering how 'new' is variance? I've not heard anything about it before, and it doesn't seem very prominent in google searches. Is it part of OO type theory??
also, is it actually part of JSR-014 since the spec. doesn't seem to say that it is (?), but on the other hand it seems to be implemented as part of the JSR-014 prototype compiler, and the distribution includes two papers on it.
thanks,
asjfAlthough the word 'variance' has been around a long time, the particular parameterized type system we're talking about is quite new. See the list of papers at:
http://www.daimi.au.dk/~plesner/variance/#docs
The Igarashi paper formulated the type system which allows use of parameterized-types-which-are-co/contravariant (covariance, though known as a concept, was previously thought incompatible with a sound parameterized type system). The 2002 Igarashi paper also contains a good description of where the idea came from -- the previous work on "structure virtual types" by Thorup and Torgersen was a main inspiration, for example. You can keep tracing the ideas back paper by paper, if you like.
This is a better URL for the Igarashi paper than the one at the link above:
http://www.sato.kuis.kyoto-u.ac.jp/~igarashi/papers/variance.html

the problem indicates an error in "Sales Funnel" (a predefinded table - downloadable from Bento-portal) : How can i start Bento without attaching "Sales Funnel")?
That crash appears to be casued by the Facebook plug-in.
Create a new account (systempreferences -> accounts or Users & Groups on 10.7 and 10.8), make a new Library in that account, import some shots and see if the problem is repeated there. If it is, then a re-install of the app might be indicated. If it's not, then it's likely the app is okay and the problem is something in the main account. -
Is it possible to have the security questions and the rescue id reset?
Didn't the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section of that article work for you? If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, only Apple itself can reset the questions.

Invisible window. Where has it come from ?
Please review photo first.
http://yfrog.com/0fscreenshot20100111at122p
As you can see in the picture, on the far right side there are the words "WINDOW" displayed. Above this there is a invisible window that goes blue once the mouse is over it. I am unable to determine what is causing this. Any thoughts ?DJ86 wrote:

So should i go ahead and delete it ?
NO. don't touch that. you are looking in the wrong library folder. the one you need is in your home directory, not at the top level of the hard drive. you can get to the home directory by clicking on the house icon in the sidebar.
I basically just put the program in the trash but i'm sure now it has nothing to do with the program. -

I cannot say with certainty any plugins known or unknown installed on my computer are problematic. My other plugins are up to date. "Unresponsive Scripts" comes up quite often. No particular website, Grooveshark and Centurylink more than any others. Are the two (Plug-ins and Scripts) related?option discovered in preferences. Really this and any feature that moves deletes or edits a users data should as far as possible be OFF BY DEFAULT. It shouldn't by default and without the users specific say do this dangerous and unnecessary thing without even letting the user know what it's doing!!! And then cause me a few hours (as i'm new to mac) searching for the option so as to switch it off. If i hadn't noticed the status cage declaring that it was copying files then i might never have twigged that this insane thing was occurring. And if i hadn't of noticed i would have been left maintaining the contents of the folder i copied the files to, the folder which as far as i was informed and so believed was also the location of the music files i was playing. How does Apple justify this 'genius' piece of software non-design? Surely it will hurt no one if this was off by default for new users - overall at least i dare say it would cause a lot less distress in the future for the unsuspecting public at large. Thanks for the support.

IPhone has to come from Memphis to ny. On time for delivery?
My receipt says it will be delivered today June 23 by 10:30 AM. It only left Memphis this morning at 2:30. What do you guys think? Will it be here or no?
Message was edited by: macstrI would say no. It would most likely already say it was in NY and soon "out for delivery" to make it to you today let alone this morning.

Iphone 4 will not start up....the apple icon comes on and then goes off and then comes on and then goes off continuously....any ideas?
1. Try doing a hard reset:
Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/wake button simultaneously for about 15 seconds and release when the Apple logo appears.
2. If that doesn't solve it, use: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
Using this article will erase everything on the device, so make sure you have a backup!
If you get specific error messages/codes in iTunes when updating/restoring, check this: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3694 for causes and solutions
Good luck
