CISCO SPA122 with Skype, makes calls but cant receive calls!
Configured SIP, Channel, and assigned Skype phone number to SIP, changed password and configured; seems pretty simple!
Out going calls work well but can't call in. Skype logs show calls going to the number and being forwarded to the SIP.

On the Calling phone, I can hear it ring twice then goes busy.
I've tried picking up the SPA122 connected phone when calling but only get a dial tone.
Any Suggestions besides contacting Skype? Tried 4 times and they are clueless!

Vonage is a good app for free calls to US, Canadian calls cost 1 cent per minute (used to be free).

I believe my ipads hard drive corrupted when i went from my macbook to a pc...I can get to the screen with cord and itunes but cant get past there to desktop of ipad...Any help would be appreciated....

The following steps work well with iPod but i would try them for help with your iPad issue:
Try connecting your iPad to another USB port directly on the computer. Verify that you're connecting it to a high-powered USB 2.0 port on your computer to be sure iPad is getting power. If you're connecting to a Windows laptop computer through USB, connect the laptop to a power outlet before connecting your iPad. Also, see iPod not recognized when connected to Windows laptop over USB to be sure that your USB ports are supplying enough power.
Avoid connecting to an external USB hub. If a hub must be used, make sure the hub is USB 2.0, and that it has its own power supply. Also, make sure the hub is connected to a high-power USB 2.0 port on your computer.
If the issue persists, try disconnecting other USB devices from the computer such as printers, cameras, scanners, external hard drives, and USB hubs to determine if there is a conflict in the USB chain. -

HELP! send but cant receive on new broadband connection via netgear router?
I have posted a recent question as I cant receive mail but I can send it both through outlook express on classic9 and mail. I have recently got tiscali broadband and a netgear router, I have a pc and emac connected through the router which can accommodate 10 computers. I have re-set the passwords and user ID/names so I think they all match (unless I have something hidden somewhere). I did not have any trouble on my NTL dial up connection with either mail or outlook. I noticed from one of the top guys on the forums he suggested-Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Network, choose Network Port Configurations from the Show popup menu, and make sure that the configuration used to connect to Internet appears at the top of the list......I would like to know if this means built-in-ethernet or tiscali, as I have it set on automatic....is this right or wrong?? Also there was something said about a router having a firewall, which I can access on the PC but have never seen it on the emac or set it up I dont think (maybe unknowingly), where would I find it if the emacs cable goes to the router. Tiscali do not support Apple Macs by the way, so they are more than reluctant to get involved either by e-mail or on the phone. I can access my mail if I go to the tiscali web site because I can connect to the internet with intenet explorer no problem. I really just want to find the problem so as I can receive my mail in either outlook or mail....please help.

I don’t understand the question. If you choose
Network Port Configurations from the
Show popup menu in System Preferences >
Network, there is no such thing as an “automatic”
setting there, only the list of available port
configurations (network interfaces)...

I deleted/changed my old apple ID (from the apple webb site) and I have changed all my Apple products onto the new ID, but they all randomly ask for a password for the old ID (which now will not work and I can't change) the biggest problem is that my icloud account will not let me in to do anything.
my knowledge of Apple is limited.We need to be clear here. Did you create a second ID, or just modify the single ID?

Problems with Skype group calling
Skype works quite well on my iMac for calls with single individuals, and for group calls where someone else initiates the call. But I am unable to launch a group call without Skype going sideways -- all audio suddenly gets so distorted it is unusable. Anyone else experienced this or know about a fix? I am current with updates from Apple and Skype ...
Your second-hand phone may have been hacked or jailbroken before you got it. Ask the person you bought it from.

Hi, i have an issue with Skype group calls.
Short story even shorter.
Whenever i get added to a call. I CANNOT join said group call/chat if i do not have the "host" on my friend list. In order for me to be able to join the call, i have to add the "host" to my friendlist OR have the host quit the call and then have whomever i had on my friend list to call the group.
Is there a fix for this? Do i really have to clutter my friendlist with near to say useless contacts just to join a call?
Final notice: When i try to join a call with a host that i do not have on my friendlist, the call quickly opens and i can see the users in the call but can't hear them and then just as quickly the call "quits" on me and i have the option to rejoin again by pressing the green button but then again the same issue happens and i get kicked out until i do one of the two things said above.there is a dylib you can put in the springboard if jailbroken but if not you have to find an apple store

I have a Skype in number unlimited plan also Skype credit but.I can receive text messages why is that?
By text message do you mean SMS message?
If yes, then currently receiving SMS messages is not supported. Online Numbers are just regular landline numbers and don't receive SMS messages

Send Pictures but Cant Receive them
I can send pictures in emails to people but when those people try to send pictures back to me i dont get them. I have tried it from their iPhones so i know the address is right and we are all on yahoo servers. Is there a setting i have turned off?

Can send mail but cant receive it.
I have an imac on snow leopard...I am able to receive and send from my iphone 4 but for some reason when I press "get mail" mail activity either freezes while importing 2 of 223 or says its done. I have checked my setting on my ipnone and all of the mail is still on my server, nothing is being deleted. Any suggestions?

I do not have Mavericks running on my older MacBook Pro. During the call, do you have the microphone icon on the Skype window enabled or disabled? Have done that before.
My Skype preferences:
Microphone: Built-in Microphone (Internal microphone)
* Automatically adjust microphone settings is set
Ringing and Speakers: Built-in Output (Internal Speakers)
Camera: Built-in iSight.
System Preferences > Sound
Input tab: Internal Microphone
Output tab: Internal Speakers -

I'm guessing that you turned off the iPhone 5? If so, then are you using the same phone number as the 5? You need to go into Settings>Messages>make sure that iMessage is turned on and activated. Then go the Send & Receive and find out if your current number is checked.

Logitech C920 and Skype Video Calls
So, the Logitech C920 I have worked before with Skype video calls with no problems. But after this new update, it doesn't detect the web cam anymore. I've googled, searched this forum, searched reddit and every possible form of help to only still not detect the web cam.
I've used 6.22, 6.18, and right now I'm on 6.14 and it still won't be detected. I've tried every USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 port I have on my rig.
Now before someone tells me it's the web cam that's broken, the web cam works on Logitech's program, it works on twitch, it works on Microsoft's program as well. All drivers are up-to-date as well.
Completely frustrated with this problem and I was wondering if posting it would be of any help.
I am on Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit as well.

Im having a similar issue. Logitech c920 no picture in SKYPE. Other apps are OK and SKYPE titles my webcam but it just a blank screen with spinning wheel in setting. Sound is OK.
Im running Windows 7 64bit. I have uninstalled SKYPE and updated the drivers ( AMD Catalyst to 14.2 and also tested beta 15.4 ) with no change.
Any help would be appreciated
