Cisco TAPS - Logon Error
Hello,
I have a problem when I try to start CISCO TAPS in Windows Services Window.
It says: Couldn't start the Cisco TAPS service on Local Computer. Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure.
In Log On, I have Log on as: This account: .\CCMServiceRW and I don't change the password.
JRE's version is 1.4.2_08.
BAT's version is 5.2(1b)
CRS's version is 4.0(4)
I try to uninstall and install TAPS again but there are no changes.
If it's gonna make you feel better, I had the same problem 2 weeks ago. Did some research and found a bug with a workaround to start TAPS from the command line (net start taps). This didn't help at all, so I opened a case with Cisco, who wasted my time and couldn't help me. In the meantime, I scanned all the phones and BATted them into the CallManager. So, either you try to start it from the command prompt or you better start scanning now. BTW, if enough people complain about TAPS and the lack of documentation for it, maybe someone from Cisco will do something about it.

Cannot create a connection to data source 'DataSource1'. (rsErrorOpeningConnection)
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
the other thing i need to mention is i am using my account as service account, setup account and also as a farm admin, will that
be an issue?
i have to use my account as these are development boxes.

Logon Error while importing data
Hello,
I have "Countries" flat table in my repository containing 2 fields Name & ISO Code.
I wanted to import data i.e. Name & ISO Code in this flat table via Import Manager.
I have excel file containing Name & ISO Code data.
While importing data, I am getting an error:- "Logon Error: External table is not in the expected format."
Would anybody know about this issue?

Just check whether yr file .xls or .xlsx.
If xlsx then change it to xls and check if problem is solved .
If not try with disable macros.
Please revert with yr results.

Logon error while consuming webservices
I am able to create webservice and generate WSDL from SOAMANAGER with endpoints in ECC 6.0. I am getting error while trying to use this WSDL in my soapUI. It just says logon error, 401 authenticating, icf team... I cannont test this in soamanager as I don't have javastack, that whay i have to soapui to test.
I created service user and gave some webservice consumer roles.
Do I need do any RFC Dest settings(sm59) or some other basis setting in ICF.
Should I need to publish these services in order for other internal non sap systems to access it.Hello,
Your problem seems like a SOAPUI usage problem. Most probably you did not povide the user and password at the right place...

If the Integration Server is accessed by means of an HTTP proxy server,the credentials must match those that you made in transaction SICF in the Integration Engine. If you do not specify a user and password combination, or the combination is invalid, the system will terminate each attempt to access the Integration Engine with the message Transport Exception: http-Error 401 Unauthorized.
The user must have the authorizations of group SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER on the Integration Server.
If you want to use a different client or language to the default setting in the Integration Engine when logging on, you can also set the following parameters:
○ XI.Client=<client-no>
○ XI.Language=<language-id>
2.HTTP 407: Proxy Authentication Required" in SAP XI J2EE AE: check the SAP note: 992690
Make sure that you have specified the proper host and port values, in the text box that appears when you check the configure proxy check box(in receiver adapter).
Looks like the webservice requires a proxy authentication.
Select the check box "configure proxy user authentication"(in receiver adapter) and provide the correct username and password.

In the Portfolios-> item-> relationships-> object Type(DMS), we have added an object and it is appearing. But when we click on the open of the application , I am getting Logon error message.

we got the system alias name from Gateway->OData Channel->Configuration->Connection Settings->SAP Netweaver Gateway to SAP System->Manage System Aliases.
And in Define webserver alias, we have maintained like this.
In define Object link type, in DMS
And as you told, in service for object type, we have maintained the web server.
I have already activated the service : SICF path - /default_host/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
After all this configuration I checked in NWBC, but still I am getting error like this.
Correct me where I am wrong.

After installation NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version "Logon Error Message"

After a sucefull installation of NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version and when i tried to acess sap through web browser i get the following error:
Logon error message
Service cannot be reached
What has happened?
URL http://localhost:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
Note
The termination occurred in system NSP with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.
The selected virtual host was 0 .
What can I do?
Please select a valid URL.
If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

is it the only service to activate, because I have errors on the url : http://localhost:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?sap-system-login-basic_auth=X&sap-client=000&sap-language=EN

Logon Error in importing XML file by import type - Schema in import Manager
Hi,
I am trying to import the xml file by selecting type XML Schema. I have already created an XML Schema in console based on the XSD file from my desktop and the same is visible in dropdown of XML Schema Tab while importing.
But I am not able to import the XML file based on the XML Schema. I got the Logon Error As : "Cannot load XML file"
Content of the error is like -

The Namespace provided Differs from the schema's 'http://n............)
Please have you inputs as this is a very critical requirement to pull the XML file based on XML schema automatically based on the ports created in console.

We have a port which is blocked due to structural exceptions.When i try to connect to the Exceptions folder
"Main[Exceptions]" the import manager throws an error "Logon Error:Could not retrieve the source file for port "Main".

I installed OBIEE 11.1.1.7 (Simple Install) which I downloaded from OTN on Windows 2008 Server R2. I have the default SampleApp Lite application up and running.
I downloaded the BI Desktop Tool - Smartview for MS Office from the BI Homepage and installed Smartview on my Excel 2007 (32 bit) - The version I see on Smartview About menu is: 11.1.2.2.310 (Build 247).

I even hit at this error and found one option to make it work. There is another installer called jbips.msi in <Smartview Installation dir>\install\ which needs to be run. Once you run this, try creating a connection to OBIPS and it should work. I could also see another menu called "Oracle BI EE" in my excel, once I have it.

Web Service Logon Error Message
Hi Experts,
I have created a web service and trying to consume it in SOAPUI but i am getting error saying that Logon Error Message . when i see the Tcode SOAMANAGER (Provider Security tab) i have this position i am not sure which one i need to choose .
1.SSL over HHTP(Transport Channel Security) .
2.Asymmetric Message Signature/Encyption.
3.symmetric Message Signature/Encyption.
and check box for secure Conversion.

I guess SOAP UI does not support Symmetric Message Signature/Encryption or Secure Conversation easily. Both are rather complex message security mechanisms. They are seen as alternative to SSL when messages should travel along different SOAP intermediaries to have end 2 end encryption.
You use case sounds that you just want to test security with SOAP UI. Assuming that SOAP UI supports SSL please choose SSL over HHTP(Transport Channel Security)
in conjunction with the user id/password in message authencation.
Then in SOAP UI try to find something like a username token. This is some part of XML SOAP UI adds to the SOAP message to send the username and the passwort.

BIZTALK -"Name or Password is incorrect (repeat logon)" error
Hello,
I am working on a scenario wherein idoc has to be received from the BIZTALK server to SAP R3.
Initially the entire testing was done for a particular user id. Now that userid is changed.
Earlier a particular User ID say "XXX" was given to the BIZTALK people and corresponding settings were done at their end. I was able to receive the IDOC successfully with that User ID.
Now, when I have given a different User ID with same profile and authorization of "XXX", it is throwing
"Name or Password is incorrect (repeat logon)" error while sending idoc .
Do I need to maintain anything on the SAP end to resolve this ?? or some modifications are further required from the BIZTALK side ? If so, it would be of great help if anyone can provide me the details of the settings required on the biztalk side.

Hi, first at all i want to say that this is the first time that i have to troubleshoot a cisco unified presence error,
ok, there is a customer experiencing problems with his cisco unified personal communicators, none of the appear registered on the call manager
I tried restarting the services in the unified presence server and no result.
I used rtmt and i found out that last night Sync Agent App stopped

I belive that is trying to log in with and active directory.
where can i found where is trying to log in, or where is asking me for a unser or password to log in?

CesarSyncAgent needs to be running to synchronize user information from CUCM.
User ID and password would be the CUCM username and password. You may test it with "User Options" page.

Unable to delete group in address book
