Cisco Unified OS Administration Login

I am wondering if it is possible to change how to login to Cisco Unified OS Administration and Disaster Recovery System via the Web front end of Call Manager 6.1.3. Currently you need to login as Administrator to those 2 Web pages, but for Cisco Unified CM Administration, Serviceability, and Reporting you do not. I can login with my Call Manager account. It would be a lot easier if my and the other administrator could just use are Call Manager login for those 2 pages instead of the Administrator account. Is this possible?

No, OS admin and DRS systems are separate from Admin pages.
You need to authenticate to each one because of what privileges each one provides within the system and at which level they're.

  • Is there any option on Cisco Unified CM Administration 9.1.1 to show caller ID number when using MOBILITY option?

    Dear All,
I am using Cisco Unified CM Administration 9.1.1 and MOBILITY works fine.
However  when somebody calls from external phone number into internal user number and MOBILITY option is ON and obviously, forwards the call for the user's cell.....in this case user can see only main company number, but not a caller number.
So, is there any option to change it?
    Thank you

Go to the GW and run some debugs to find out exactly what you're sending, chances are, your telco is overwriting the original called number as it's nor part of your DID range.

  • Tool(s) in Cisco Unified CM Administration to support Identity Management (IDM)?

    Hi,
In our "Cisco Unified CM Administration System version: 7.0.1.11000-2" installation, I can manually create and administrate users information.
But we do also have an identity Management (IDM) system in house, that creates users in Microsoft 2003 Active Directory and some sub-systems with the necessary rights they need.
It would be a lot easier, if our IDM system could create the user in our “Cisco Unified CM Administration System version: 7.0.1.11000-2" when they are created in the MS Active Directory, with the right username, first name, last name, department name and so forth.
Is there any tool that I can use to make this automatic import of user information?
    Kind regards,
    Carl-Marius

    There are couple solutions.
You may integration CUCM with LDAP.  Whenever you have a user created in LDAP, CUCM will synchronize that user into CUCM user database.  Then you may assign different permissions for different LDAP users.
If you don't want to do LDAP integration, you may also consider using AXL to create users in CM database.  AXL is an interface for 3rd-party software to read/write database.

  • Cannot reset user vmail password with Cisco Unified CM Administration

We are using Cisco Unified CM Administration ver 7.1 with Cisco 7945 IP phones. I have a user who came to me saying that they could no longer access voice mail, getting invalid pin. Ichanged the pin with the Cisco Unified CM Administration which accepts the new pin no problem but when we try it from the phone it doesn't work. Any ideas... Thanks Don

    Hey Don,
    Well, that's no good
There should be no correlation between resetting the user PIN
    and the forwarding to voicemail.
    Let's say that the user is @ DN/extension 5999.
    In CUCM admin go to;
    Device>Phone>Find List by Directory number> find 5999
on the DN config page look at the Call Forward sections (all, no answer, busy)
and make sure they are set to forward to VM (usually by using the VM checkbox)
If you need to, have a look at a working phone/DN for comparison
    Cheers!

  • Cisco Unified CM Administration ver 7.1 date and time issue

We are using Cisco Unified CM Administration ver 7.1. I think this will be an easy one. I've done it before and need to do it again. Is there an easy way to adjust the time that appears on all our Cisco 7945 phones. It is out by a dozen of minutes... Thanks Don

The latest release of CUCM 7.1.5 is 7.1.5.35901-1, so you can always try that. Link to download:
    http://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=282421166&flowid=45895&softwareid=282074295&release=7.1(5b)SU6a&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest
The latest version of CUCM software is 9.1.2 with 10.0 coming out any day, thought those would be considered major upgrades and would require some planning, on i.e. ensure hardware compatibility, all software compatibilities, ELM licensing migration, etc.

  • How do I remove the certificat error everytime I try to access the Cisco Unified CM Administration web-page?

    Hi,
Every time I want to have access to the Cisco Unified CM Console (System version: 7.0.1.11000-2), I use the https://10.10.x.x/ccmadmin/showHome.do homepage on my client computer, but when I open the page, I get a SSL certificate error, stating no trust to this webpage security certificate and if I those "continue to this page (not recommended)", I get access to the Cisco Unified CM Console web page.
I have tried to add the https://IP-adress to secure web pages in Internet Explorer 7, but this to no avail, it does not help.
How do I add this certificate to a trusted something, so I do not get this warning every time I open the page?
    Kind regards,
    Carl-Marius

    Hi Michael,
It worked when I change the IP-address to the name that was written in the certificate, and imported the certificate to Internet Explorer.
Thank you for your fast and very precise help!
    Kind regards,

  • Remove a report from CUCM Cisco Unified Reporting

    Hello,
I did a Unified CM Cluster Overview report in CUCM 8.6 (a cluster with 2 nodes, replication is good) but it took a long time. So I stopped the process.
But when I enter the Unified CM Cluster Overview in Unified Reporting, it shows that generated report. And when I click it, it shows
"ERROR : Fatal error encountered while validating report XML with schema".
My question is : How can I delete a report from Cisco Unified Reporting ?
I searched in Cisco Unified Reporting Administration Guide and I didn't found a way to do it.
EDIT : Well the report was being generated, and the report can finally be displayed. But the question remains open. How can I delete this report ?
    Thank you for your answers.

    Hi Mohamed,
Generate a new report, it will overwrite the old one. There is no option to delete it from cucm admin page. If you are concerned about the time it took to generate the report the first time then restart the Database Layer Monitor and Tomcat services before running a fresh report. Tomcat needs to be restarted from CLI of the Pub ( utils service restart Cisco Tomcat ), it is case sensitive.

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager Group configuration

Cisco Unified CM Administration -  System version: 7.1.5.10000-12
Cluster has 2 CUCMs: CM voip1 and CM voip2.
CM voip1 is the publisher and CM voip2 is the subscriber.

  • Cisco Unified MeetingPlace web user portal

    All,
Someone could say me what is the URL of the "Cisco Unified MeetingPlace web user portal"?
My design is MeetingPlace / WebEx with MeetingPlace Scheduling.
    Thanks a lot,
    Luciane de Medeiros

    RC,
This behavior is stemming from a change in MP 7.0 MR2 to disable the MPWeb login for system profiles.  This was an internal change made by the developers to restrict the log on to the MPWeb page by the default accounts created in MeetingPlace upon installation.  The change now displays this error when the admin account is attempted to be used for MPWeb login, as you experienced-
Error:[22953] You cannot sign in to the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Server interface using preconfigured system profiles.
You should be able to log into MPWeb using any other user profile that you have either created manually or pulled in from LDAP/Active Directory.  You just cannot use the admin account.  This is reserved for login to the MP Application Server Administration page only.  I am going to work to get this information added to the MP 7.0 documentation with a note for changed behavior in MR2 and above.  Here is the note from MP 8.0 documentation-
Note: You cannot use this preconfigured admin profile to access the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Server interface. Instead enter the User ID and password information from one of the other user profiles that have system administrator privileges to sign in to the Web Server.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
    Thank You,
    Gerry

    Hi
    I recently upgrade tp 7.0.3  from 7.0.2.

However if i create a new user in application server and tried logging with the  same in the web server it is working fine..
is it a known behaviour wirh the upgrade or i m facing some issue.

    Thank You,
    Gerry
