Cisco Unified TAPI TSP Client Windows 7 quick question
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/prod/collateral/voicesw/ps6789/ps7046/ps7282/product_bulletin_c25-563280_ps556_Products_Bulletin.html
Inside of the product bulletin for the release of the CUCM products for Windows 7 it lists:
Cisco Unified TAPI TSP Client (including Wave Driver)
Version 8.5(1), FCS Q4CY10
• WoW64 - Not applicable
• Native 64 - Target FCS Q4CY10
My question is this - the 'Version 8.5(1)" is that the version of CUCM that I will have to upgrade too? Or is there a TAPI TSP download seperate from the Call Manager upgrades? I am currently on 7.1.x
Silly question I know...but trying to find the answer.
Hello,
so does it mean: There is NO WAY to make a TAPI/TSP Service Provider 8.6(2.4) work with CallManager 7.x? I have a Win7 64bit system here, but the CallManager still ist on 7.x.
Kind Regards,
Olaf

Simple Question - Cisco Unified CallConnector for Microsoft Windows
Can anyone tell me if Unified Call Connector works with UCM or just Express? This is something we would be interested in if it could work with our current setup.
Will rate Post.
Thanks.Hi!
No, it does not work with CUCM, it works with express only. Please refer to the data sheet below:
"Cisco Unified CallConnector for Microsoft Windows, especially designed for the small and medium-sized business (SMB) or branch-office user, is supported by Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express 4.0 and later."

Cisco Unified CCX Historical Reports 8.5 - question
Hi all,
Have a question regarding UCCX Historical Reports. Ran daily reports for "Agent Not Ready Reason Code" report for a complete week and exported them to Excel. Excel shows a SUM for daily values that differs from what UCCX shows in Weekly report.
Although it is a slight difference, I would like to know why UCCX and Excel display different values. Would it be due the way UCCX handles decimal value?
Image below shows the sum for the complete week and every one of the daily values
This is what Excel displays as a sum for same daily values:
Thanks so much for the help you can provideThe "Cisco Unified CCX Historical Reports Scheduler" sits in my startup folder but seems like it doesn't "run" at startup. So I ran a "test":
- Manually right-clicked the "Cisco Unified CCX Historical Reports Scheduler" icon in the startup folder and chose "Run as Administrator"
I didn't log off or reboot PC and the reports are running again. I checked the "properties" of the icon and I did make sure it was already set to "Run this program as an Administrator" under the "Compatibility" tab.
Not sure why it's not working...
Thank you for any help you can provide.... -
Question about cisco unified callconnector for mscrm
Hi
I've successfully installed software on both workstation and MSCRM server, and it works well.
However, when I use "click to call" in MSCRM, a blank window keep poping up with message "The webpage you are viewing is trying to close the window. Do you want to close the window?"
My question is how to let IE close the window without the confirmation window.
I found some people use following Javascript to close the IE window.
<script language=javascript>
function CloseWindow()
window.open('','_self','');
window.close();
</script>
However, if anyone can let me know where is the place to add this code into, I would appreciate
Thanks

Installing OBIEE on Windows 7, quick questions
Dear Experts,
Last year, I struggled installing OBIEE on Linux 5.5.
Now I want to install it on Windows 7 Ultimate.
It will be stand alone, for my own use only.
Both a client, and a server.
Some quick questions:
1)
Does the Windows server need to have a Domain (as Linux did)?
(I'm having some trouble with the same dummy domain that worked fine
in Linux, since it doesn't exist on the web.)
2)
Does the Windows server/client require a loopback adapter?
If so, does it require a static IP?
3)
Does the windows server/client require a static IP address?
4)
If static IP addresses are required for both 2 and 3,
is the static IP address supposed to match, or be different?
I hope these questions aren't too dumb. But I haven't found
anything online addressing them for windows yet.
Thanks a lot!Hi,

Quick Question about Cisco 3560 and the Web Device Manager
Alright, I have a quick question that I am curious about but I haven't found any information
about it.
When I log into my Cisco 3560 using the web portal to get to the Device Manager. Below the
diagram of the switch, then under the Dashboard there is section called Switch
Health, Port Utilization.
Under the Switch Health there is Bandwidth Used, Packet Error. Those two options just sit
at zero and do not move. The Port tilization graph is also sitting at zero.
Is there a way to make them functional?Anyone notice performance increase or decrease of their HD when using the nVidia IDE SW drivers? particularly with a 74GB Raptor? I've also heard of burner issues when installing the IDE SW but have not used my burner yet.

Any ideas, thanks,
Ashok.Hi Harry,
I only wish I were more up to speed on all of the security technology. I will contact the network administrator and pass your request to him. I will let you know the results (probably later today).
Here is a little background on this issue (optional reading). All clients worked fine up until around the end of September 2013. Then, a rash of Windows updates came along. Around Sept. 20th, I noticed I could no longer connect using the VPN. So, I uninstalled (Mobility Client) but was not able to re-install as the https://site was not longer able to be reached. I got the standard Microsoft 'Diagnose Connection Problems'. So I manually installed the 'Mobility Client' but only get errors. However, I'm only guessing at the 'AnyConnectProfile.xml'. I may have the settings all wrong. Don't know.
We also noticed that all of our Windows 7 clients work fine. None of the Windows XP clients work any longer. I figured it was 'time to upgrade' all of our Windows XP clients.

Cisco Unified Video Advantage - CDP Driver Not Installed- Windows 7 64-bit
OK, so I'm sure the problem is Windows 7 64-bit, but after installing version 2.1.2 of Video Advantage, although everything goes in with no problem... it's not connecting to either my CUPC soft-phone or the attached video enabled Cisco IP Phone . When I click on About, there is no version listed next to the CDP Driver Version. When I go into Device Manager, I don't even see the Cisco CDP Driver listed. There were no error messages during the install, but it would appear that the CDP Driver didn't get installed during setup. This, of course, would explain why the phones are not being detected (since it uses CDP for discovery).
Has anyone come across this and come up with a workaround ??If you download the PDF for Cisco Unified Communications Support for Microsoft Windows 7 that was published on 10-22-2009 you will see that currently there are no plans to support Video Advantage on Windows 7. I haven’t tried installing it on my 64 bit Windows 7 system yet but have you tried installing it using the program compatibility wizard? If that doesn’t work you can install the XP Mode which is a virtual machine of Windows XP that would allow you to install it there. The XP Mode virtual machine has worked for me on every app so far that doesn’t work with Windows 7.

UCCX RTMT 8.02 Missing Cisco Unified CCX quick launch
I was going to try and follow this article.
https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-31779
When I start RTMT I have no quick launch in the left hand pane as outlined 'Cisco Unified CCX' just isn't there.
Am I missing something here, and the article is recent, perhaps for versions later than 8.02 ???
Thanks for any helpWe have 8.5 CUCM so RTMT versions are different but I was sort of thinking along the same lines so I uninstalled both versions and only installed UCCX version and triple checked I was connecting to UCCX.

That is correct. You cannot insert a pause in speed dials for your version. CUCM 9.0 supports this feature.

Question in Cisco Unified Meeting Place 8.5 with Webex integration
Greetings,
Let us say that I have the following requirements for fresh installation:
UCS C210-M2
CUWL-Pro for users (700 users)
CUCM 8.6
Cisco unified Meeting Place 8.5
My concern is about Meeting place; one of the requirments is to order Meeting Place 8.5 for local (on-premises) audio conferencing, and use Cisco Webex (cloud) for Web & Video conferencing.
I have the following questions:
- What part numbers should be ordered for meeting place and Webex?
- CUWL-Pro comes with Webex ports included, can use those ports?
Thanks in advance..Hi Anand,
For MP 8.5 new setup, you don't need a web server. Web server is an optional component only when you are upgrading the system from earlier MP releases.
If you are installing Webex node, it needs to be on a seperate MCS server (however, this is an optional component).
Application server and Express Media Server require only one UCS server if this is single node deployment.
Hardware requirements for application server and Webex node can be found in the following documents:
http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Cisco_Unified_MeetingPlace_Release_8.5_--_Hardware_Requirements#Application_Server_Requirements
