Cisco Web Portal Cancel button issues on IPAD/Iphones

Hi All,
Having an intermittent issue whereby when Ipads or iphones connect to our guest wireless webportal and authenticates (currently set to bypass) the 'cancel' button does not dissappear and change to 'done'.
Most of the time it will change to 'done' and when the user clicks it, it will redirect to the desired website.
Usually when the issue occurs, the user will click cancel and then need to re-associate to the SSID but during the 2nd re-association it connects through without the webportal prompt.
Any suggestions or reasons why this is happening?
The webportal is hosted on the controller.

I haven't really tested the play button bypass, but there is a way to trigger it when running in a normal browser. Don't know if the hack works on an iPad. There are numerous threads about it. Search for "cp.movie.play()"
You can only stream from a server that is configured for streaming.

Cisco Web Security Appliance Slowness issue

I have a slowness issue on an Existing WSA-S170-K9 appliance , when issuing the command Rate/proxystat it displays unresponsive sometimes screenshot attached.
software version is 8.5, i was suspecting that this issue is related to access policies applied on end users ; so i created a test policy to bypass all checks and disable all malware/antivirus checks on users flows however, the same issue is still there.

Does this happen every time you run the rate command and at the beginning of the command's output rows?
You may want to look at your proxylogs to see what activity is occurring while the proxy is unresponsive.

Can't Send Mail on OSX10.7 - No issues with iPad/iPhone

I've got an issue that has surfaced with OSX Lion Mail.App where i can receive, but cannot send email outside of my office network.
OS: 10.7.3
Location: In my office within my domain
Can send and receive emails via Mail.app (configured using imap default smtp port)
Can send and receive emails on iPhone (configured using exchange)
Location: Anywhere Else (or in my office on a different network)
Can receive but CANNOT send emails via Mail.app (configured using imap)
Can send and receive emails on iPhone/iPad (configured using exchange)
I'm able to verify connectivity via 'Connection Doctor'
I only have issues with 10.7 machines. In fact there are two other users in my office with brand new MB Airs with exactly the same issue.

Muse site issues with iPad/iPhone and Opera

Hello,
I'm working on a website in Muse and am experiencing a few problems I'm hopeful someone can help with. Namely, both on an iPad and iPhone the site is aligned left (instead of centered) and the footer does not tile/expand 100% browser width as it is configured to do. You can view the site at www.graficus.com/beta_wti
Additionally, on the desktop side, when the site is opened using the browser Opera, I receive a pop up message on most pages stating "Some files on the server may be missing or incorrect. Clear browser cache and try again. If the problem persists please contact website author." I do not receive this message in other browsers and the pages visually appear correct.
Any thoughts?
One last question....is there a way to have the center white content area expand vertically automatically to keep the background fill from showing above the footer area without having to set up multiple masters (as I have done) to accommodate various page lengths?

Compilation Issues on ipad & iphone

I have a lot of compilation albums and I would like for the individual songs to appear under the artists' names on my iPhone and ipad. For example, I have 10 tracks from an individual album by "Artist A" and I have 4 tracks by Artist A on compilation CDs. On my iPad, only the songs with "Artist A" in Album Artist show up under the artist's name. Is there anyway to get songs from both the artist's album & the compilation cd under the same artist listing?

I Too have the same problem on my iPhone but when I plug my iPhone into my PC and search the contents of music on the device all the artist songs on singles albums compilations all appear together.
Have you ever found out how get all the artists songs group together under artists on your iPhone as I would love to know

[JS CS4] ScriptUI Cancel button inoperant during process

I made a small interface for exporting PDF. I create two buttons, one for launching the export, one to stop it.
The launch button calls the exportPDF() function. This function sets two the values of the progressbar.
The problem is that once the export is launched, the cancel button is no more cliackable. I would like my users to have the opportunity to stop the export process.
I saw this thread but can't succeed in applying it.

I was starting feeling desperate to get a hint on that topic.
I tried your lead but it didn't do it. (I can assume I misused it however)
I create the window on clicking the green button. The cancel window appears fine but I am still unable to switch the button. It's frozen like any other interactrive elements.
That's ok, I am giving up this cancel button issue. It would be nice to get it but that's ok.
For the record :

I wasn't any longer as the canceling window appears but still without interactivity.

Solution: iPad/iPhone Login issues with IIS as Reverse Proxy (Android and Windows Phone works)

I had issues with iPad/iPhone access from external and tried a lot. Now I found my solution I like to share.
I setup a IIS on Windows Server 2012 with ARR 2.5 and Android and Windows Phone could login but not iPad and iPhone.
The IIS Log on the reverse proxy showed:

First Request gets a 401 while anonymous. Second try would be with authentication but it never reached the internal front end server.
After I installed a fix for ARR

This resolved our problem too!! So happy after 2 weeks of messing around with just about every setting recommended from all types of forums and rebuilding our reverse proxy I was at a loose end.
Our environment is Lync 2013 Enterprise, Lync 2013 Edge, IIS as Reverse Proxy on Server 2012 using ARR 2.5
We had Android and Windows clients working but no iOS devices at all. In the iOS log we were seeing

Installed the HotFix from here:-
Hotfix for Microsoft Application Request Routing Version 2.5 for IIS7 (KB 2732764) (x64)
Rebooted the Reverse Proxy and iOS clients worked straight away for both Lync 2010 and Lync 2013 on both iPhone 5 and iPad both.
I hope this helps others as I was losing the plot :-)

ESS Leave Request - Portal Runtime Error when the "Cancel" button is hit

We have configured the Leave Request application, created a custom workflow, created security roles, and we are now testing in our quality environment.
We are encountering a very strange "Portal runtime error" which we cannot resolve - When you come into the Leave Request application, and then, without completing the request, just hit the "Cancel" button, the runtime error is generated.
We have run a trace of authorizations and everything has come up clean. Everything is configured, and there are no problems actually creating, approving and posting requests.
Any ideas?

Web Form Cancel Edit button changes value of List View item when clicked

I have a web form, I shows 3 buttons, Edit, Save, And cancel. When the user presses the edit button it enables editing. When the user makes an edit and presses the save button it saves the changes. When the user presses the cancel button, it does cancel
the edit ok but it changes the vale in the left list view to a different value. For instance my left list view has a list of vendor names. When I click cancel, the vendor name shown for the selected record, changes to the vendor number. I
have experimented with different values to show in the list view, I have turned off sorting, etc. No matter what everytime I click cancel button it changes the vendor name to the vendor number.
Even stranger is when I scroll the list up and the item that changed is move out of view and then you scroll back down to put it in view it puts the value back to the vendor name.
This isn't consistent as I have created some forms where it doesn't do this.
Also when I create a new list view, does anyone know how to get it into the tile pane . the only way to get anything in that list appears to be that I have to create a whole new table.

Lost my iPad and when I attempt to use the "LOST" feature in icloud, the NEXT and CANCEL buttons are not responding. I have tried this on 3 different windows based computers. Any ideas???

Ipad 3rd generation, iOS 8, home button issue, with fix

I have seen a lot of iOS 8 home button issues on phones but not much on the iPad. But I started having problems right away. Clicking would not get be back to the home screen. Clicking did not get me out of program. It was all intermittent too.
I found a good you tube video about ipad home button issues. First I tried recalibrating the home button. You hold the power switch down till you get the slider to turn off the iPad. then let go and hold down the home button till the screen changes. that seemed to fix most of the problems for a couple hours. But then it came back.
Next tried putting a drop of isopropyl Alcohol on my finger tip and pushed down and up on the outside edge of the home button, all around the circumference. Then did the cal again. That seems to have worked permanently.
iOS 8 is still slow but I guess everyone has that on anything older than a year.

Yes I checked it. As far as I can see I did everything Apple said to do. I took some screen shot so you can see how the screens are connected and what and where the code is, and what it does when I drag the cancel and done bar buttons to the exit

Issue in form and cancel button

I have created one customized form, on that form i have created one cancel button for cancelling the record.
when i click on cancel button it is not going from form , but when i close the form and open again then wont seen.
i have to cancel the record as soon as i click on checkbox and then click on cancel button. and wont appear again.
Also i have written one update statement for updating flag as a 'C'
but when i take it inside a loop (for multiple record selection) form goes hang.....
I have to write that statement, becoz end user may want to cancel a multiple record at a time

Check the dates.
If required perform a simulation run using forced retro date and check the corresping wagetype in Payslip/Payroll Log.
If it is ok go for an actual run with forced retro date.
