Cisco works changes ignored when someone leaves config mode

Hi When a user leaves cisco router config mode, a syslog message is triggered pointing to my Cisco works device.
but the changes ignored when someone leaves config mode (i.e., not picked up until the next scheduled archive)
is it possible in cisco works to immediately archive the configuration of router, when someone leaves Config mode?
if yes , can someone guide how to accomplish this?

I think you want to use the automatic action for config fetch which comes with ciscoworks, right?
Did you check that the syslog message from the router came to the server?
If yes, is it in the right form? (I think it is)
I have sometimes the problem with this function that the Analyser was full of syslog messages and drops all new syslogs.

Hi all,
Lately everybody in our groupchat has been having issues when someone leaves the call.
When they leave, it looks like the whole call has been disbanded, but the people that didn't leave can't see the call.
Which concludes to: Nobody can leave the call, we have to exit skype completely and relog.
Does anyone else have this issue and does someone know how to fix this?

EDIT: When this happends, we can go into another call while being in the groupschat call.

It is a bug and there is no fix as of yet, other than loading another OS (downgrading.)

Dealing with Person column when someone leaves the organization?

We have a list which has a person (people picker) column. This column pulls from (is validated against) several possible sources including Active Directory. If a name cannot be found when adding/updating a record then the following error message
appears in red just below that field:
> No exact match was found. Click the item(s) that did not resolve for more options.
We have a particular record we are trying to update. Per security policy former employees *must* be deleted from AD. Now, however, that the person in the person column of this record has left it is impossible to update his record due to the mentioned
error message. His name won't validate even though he still exists in the User Information List.
How can this be overcome? Is it a configuration issue? It must be possible to update the record of a person who has been deleted from AD; otherwise, this would present major issues to organizations. We are considering using text for person
names instead of system-validated person columns and clearly that would not be Microsoft's intent.

The given answer indicates an issue with our security policy, but I'm told our policy of deleting (not disabling) AD accounts is fairly standard in the industry. Is Sharepoint not properly equipped to deal with deleted AD accounts? If so, it
would seem to render the people picker useless.

I would agree, this is an issue with the security policy (simply disabling users is also quite common, e.g. in case they return to the organization you can simply reactivate their account). But are you also removing the person from the User Information
List within SharePoint?

I have updated IOS. Had problem with another iPhone as well and they swapped it out. Same problem with new one. Anyone?

You may want to call AT&T and have them look at your account. You should be getting voicemails almost immediately after they have been left by the caller.

Can only change Workspace when in Standard Screen Mode

Easy rotator is moving when someone is zooming page

Hello , I have recently opened new website and i have some problems with it...the link may show some errors because i just bought domain and it is still in propagation phase here is link: http://www.designmansion.org Ok so the problem is i installed easy rotator on the site and it works perfectly but when someone zooms the page it is not moving with the page it is moving left or right and it is very bad...like for example if i zoom the page easy rotator goes to the right and i only see the half of it and the text and other images are moving correctly...so how to fix that pls help? ACS and Cisco works integration

I have authenticated cisco works with ACS as cwadmin. I am not able to view the device added through tacacs+ authentication. But the device is searchable through ip address in chasis view and am able to configure it. Please suggest a method to view the device in device management and device centre.

I have reinstalled cisco works and again added devices in acs mode. it works now. Thank you. But now the problem is it doesnot list in campus manger, or vlan port assignment. can i know any configuration is required for this?

Infrastructure 2.2 using config mode to collect configs?

I am running Cisco Prime LMS 4.2 and Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.2 in parallel. I just exported the device list and credentials from LMS and imported them into Infrastructure. LMS has syslog alerts set up to notify the boss when "Configured from console by ..." messages get logged. These messages typically come out whenever someone exits config mode, whether any actual changes were made or not.
Basically, the boss got alerts from LMS for every device imported into Infrastructure, caused by something that Infrastructure itself did. The only thing that I can see that Infrastructure did was collect the configs. I haven't found that any changes were actually made. So apparently Infrastructure uses config mode to collect the configs? What in the world for?

More information. I have a few old devices that are still using telnet instead of ssh, and also have a packet capture appliance that captured all of this discovery traffic from PI. I filtered out the trace from one of these telnet devices and found the following sequence among a bunch of different show commands:
config t
ip nbar ?
ip nbar
exit
In the particular case of this device, the responses to the ip nbar config commands indicated that the device is not capable of doing nbar. Your mileage may vary.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
1. The purpose of this test is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account. Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The "Guest User" login created by "Find My Mac" is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
2. Connect to a different network, such as a public Wi-Fi hotspot, and try again.

MMS not working in iPhone4S when installing config profile with APN

When we use the iPhone Configuration Utility (either the latest version or previous versions) to create a config profile with APN info, then install the profile to an iPhone4S, we noticed that MMS (multimedia messaging) was no longer working. This means we could not send or receive MMS messages. And this is MMS going over the MMS protocol (and not iMessage). We had not seen this before. We routinely do config profiles with APN info and have done for all iPhone models and iOS version before the new iPhone4S. Never had a problem with MMS or anything else. This is for iPhone4S devices in the AT&T network. It is easy to reproduce and you don't need an enterprise APN for that. In fact just a config profile with AT&T's APN settings will still break MMS when installed (other than the MMS, everything else works fine).
It does not appear an iOS 5 issue. iPhone4 (or iPhone3GS) with iOS 5 do not have this problem. It appears to be tied to the new iPhone4S hardware. The same configuration profile (with the APN info) works fine on iPhone4 with iOS 5 (MMS works fine), but when you put the very same configuration profile to an iPhone4S, MMS quits working.
Doing a network reset does not solve the problem. Only removing the profile fixes the MMS

I called the Apple care line, and eventually got to 4th tier support, where they declared that there must be an issue with the APN I'm using, regardless of the fact that none of the iPhone 3G, 3GS', and 4's in our office are experiencing this issue while using the same APN. I guess I shouldn't be surprised about this, afterall who'd expect Apple to actually admit there's a "bug" in one of their products, especially since this is hapenning to a very small number of users on the 4S. Getting to 4th tier support was free, but to be able to talk to someone who can actually investigate this issue will cost $700.
I offered to give them access to our private APN for testing, but they were "unable to do that sort of testing". Additionally, we have tested using a public APN from AT&T (wap.cingular), and still experience the same issue.
Lastly, I did some further digging, and I think it has something to do with PDP Context 2 not getting an IP address. As a disclaimer, I have no clue what a PDP Context is, what it does, what it's for, but obviously MMS needs it. Going into field test mode on the phone will allow you to see the PDP Contexts, and is where I got this info from.
On the iPhone 4S, without an APN profile installed, the PDP Contexts are listed 0-3. These 4 contexts have values for an APN, and an IPv4 address, although context 0 and 2 are the only ones that have values in them.
When an APN profile isnt installed, MMS' can be sent, cellular internet doesn't work., the values are:
Context 0
IPv4:    ip is blank
APN:   phone (this is the default APN for the iphone 4s on att).
Context 2
IPv4:     has a valid public IP address
APN:     wap.cingular
When an APN profile is installed, MMS's can't be sent, but cellular internet does work, the values are:
Context 0:
IPv4:     Valid public IP address is present
APN:     Our enterprise APN
Context 2:
IPv4:     ip is blank.
APN:     wap.cingular
It appears that when Context 2 has an IP address, MMS' are able to be sent. One other interesting fact, on the iPhone 4, only 1 PDP Context is listed, while the 4S has 4 listed.
Hopefully this issue will be resolved in the 5.1 update, as this update contains a baseband update for the 4S, updating it from 1.0.14 to 1.2.01-1. Unfortunately I don't have access to a 5.1 beta, otherwise I'd test this my self. If anyone has access to the beta, and wants to test APN profiles/MMS send status, we'd greatly appreciate it!

Thanks so much but none of that helped. It was driving me crazy because it would back up another external drive. I just changed the name of the drive from iPhoto/iTunes Library to Media Libraries and IT WORKED!! I guess for some reason it didn't like the drive being called iPhoto or iTunes ???? I don't understand but I have tried so many solutions and exchanging things out but the name change did it????!!!
