Today wasn't supposed to be my grand credit card finale. I only apped for the Venture because I saw everyone else's success and thought it was the right time, plus it was always "the it card" I wanted back from my younger days when I didn't know enough about credit and it was out of my reach. Got approved for 15k on it this afternoon which I posted earlier. Then now, feeling maybe a little too sure of myself, I said let's do this! Cold apped for the Citi Prestige to give me my WEMC I wanted to round out my portfolio, and instant approval for 11k!!!! Today was a good day ...

I have been using firefox aurora 7 for mac. Most of my handful of add-ons have been disabled -- including Read It Later and Feedly, which I was making good use of. Can you tell me when they will be enabled for firefox aurora 7? Maybe I should go back to firefox 6
You can use the Tab key to select a search engine on the bottom bar and press Enter to use the search engine to do the search.

In the current Firefox 34 release there is a new "one-off" search bar.
This search bar doesn't show the name of the search engine and a logo.
You can type one letter to make a drop-down list appear where you can see suggestions and see the used search engine and that also has bar at the bottom where you can select other search engines that are enabled via the Search tab in Options/Preferences.
You can use the Tab key to select one of the other available search engines and press the Enter key to search with the selected search engine.
Click the search engine icon and click "Change Search Settings" to open the Search tab in Options/Preferences (positioned between Tabs and Content) to select the default search engine and select which search engines to show in the search bar drop-down list that opens when you start typing search terms. -
Hi Everyone! Today was a big day for me, and I have my first question
Hi everybody, I've been lurking here for the past month or so, but I finally created an account today because this week has been a big deal for me, and I have a question which you guys may know the answer to. Little bit of background knowledge. I'm a rising second year student, and as far as credit is concerned, I've only had one. This card would be the Wells Fargo College Card. I started off when I turned 18 with a $500 limit, and it was increased this spring to $800. During the summer I decided to shop around on banks for my checking, and decided to go with PNC. I applied for their CashBuilder card, but was denied for the typical student reasons (insufficient credit history, loan balances too high, etc.). It did give me a credit report out of it at least (learned my Experian is 722). Anyway, in the last month, I learned that I have the chance to study abroad in France this upcoming spring, so I began research on a card with no foreign transaction fees. I became engrossed in learning about all the different banks, cards, and options not just for my time as a student, but for (what I thought) would come after graduation. I settled on the Discover Chrome and Capital One Journey for the immediate future. Discover is clearly my favorite (most of what I buy is gas / eating out), but the acceptance in France is minimal, so I needed the Journey too. I was instantly approved for both. Don't know how much my CL on the Chrome is, but my Journey gave me $2,000. This seemed really high to me, considering I have only had one card, for just over a year, which is only at $800. I slept on this for a couple nights, and decided that I was too curious on whether or not I should have tried for the Capital One Quicksilver first. To test this, I decided to apply for the Chase Freedom (a card that I planned on applying for next summer), just to see if I could get a 'big boy' card. I was instantly approved for $2,500! I was surprised, shocked, amazed, etc!!! Then I got even more curious. I now had a great rotating category card, but what if I could get (in my opinion) the best flat cashback card out there: the Citi CashBuilder. I had heard stories about how you need excellent credit, and years worth of history, so I figured this would be the card to get after graduation. But, I decided to try now, because why not. My score can take the pulls now since I don't plan on applying for anything huge. So I pulled the trigger, and was instantly approved for $1,500!!!! Again, I was shocked. So this week has been great to say the least. But, I can't help but kick myself for applying for the Journey, when it seems obvious to me that somehow, I could have had a pretty good shot at the QuickSilver. So now I get to my question. What are the chances for me to change the Journey to a Quicksilver before December. I know Capital One gives an automatic credit limit after 5 months, and that in some cases, you can upgrade that early, but would it be possible to do it sooner? If I wait until my 5 months, that gives a very short time for me to actually receive the card which I would desperately need. Also, I'm wondering just how high PNC's standards are for credit. It seems really odd that I could get a $2,500 CL with Chase (who I've had no relationship with) but couldn't get even a small limit with PNC who I migrated my checking to.
I have the Journey card, and shortly after I was approved for the Venture and Quicksilver. Check their pre-qualifier and see if either comes up for you. I know the Venture has no foreign transaction fees and it starts with high limits. But I will say my Journey card grew as well; I started with 1k and they auto increased me at 5 or 6 months to 5k. Plus soon we can combine their cards, so I would stick with the Journey for a little while and just go ahead and app for the Venture or Quicksilver.

I don't know why the battery life has just become so poor. I can listen to 1 song and lose 1/2% battery life. I had all the settings the same as before updating to ISO6 and now it just goes. I did drop it around the same time but I have a stong case so I don't see how this should effect it. If anyone knows how to fix it would be a great help because I used to love iPod but I am very dissapointed.

Basic question is why are any of the minimun 8 Verizon reps that I or my Authorized Verizon Rep (at Costco) spoke with unable to resolve a very simple, straightforward issue that should have been resolved in 15 minutes max. Instead I (a 14 year verizon customer) have been given the runaround and have invested over 6 1/2 hours in trying to get someone to acknowledge that I an owed 1 GB of Bonus Data on my new phone on our new plan. My wife got hers. I am just venting now as I intend on returning the phone tomorrow (I got it Thursday) and turning around and getting an identical new phone. This was suggested to me as an option by both the Rep who sold my wife her phone and the rep who sold me mine as that way I would not have to contiinue dealing with this ridiculous state of affairs (they indicated that my Free gig request was being sent to another department and that it would be about 7 days befor they get an answer). No I was considerate, etc. The root of the problem stems from the fact that when I went to get my new phone I asked the salesperson if I should sign up for the new plan or if my wife should do it the following day when she buys her new phone (also at a Costco but in a different state). The salesperson said it made absolutely no difference so I elected to have my wife do it. When she did the next day she got her free Gig and her salesperson told her that I need to call in to make sure I get the gig that I am entitled to as well. That's when the runaround started with the first call consisting of me basically advising Verizon of what the promotion consists of, etc.since they insisted that it was one gig per Plan, that there were no exceptions to this, etc. As mentioned they wanted to know where I got the information that it was one gig per qualifying phone. (Both the rep and her supervisor obviously were not aware of how Verizons heavily touted More Everything plan works). They told me finally that I needed to go back to the Costco where I got the phone. I did. The salesperson apologized numerous times to me for advising me that it made no difference who signs up for the plan or when. She then spent over two hours on the phone (with me next to her) attempting to explain to Verizon what happened, how it was her fault, and how I was clearly entitled to the Bonus Gig since I also had a qualifying phone. Finally she was transferred to someone who authorized the Bonus Gig (since I was clearly entitled to it) and who indicated that it might take 24 hours to show up on my new Plan. 72 hours later, no change, and the runaround continues some more. The only reason I even came to this forum was to let off some steam since no one could give me an answer.. It's clear that I am entitled to the Bonus Gig yet the last supervisor I spoke with told me that he could only pass the request on to another department via e-mail (no direct contact, etc. even though I gave him the name and employee # of the Verizon rep who indicated the Bonus was approved) and that an answer should be forthcoming in about 7 days. I was very cordial with everyone I spoke with as I understand that they take their direction from the top. The countless hours I have spent dealing with this situation is something that no-one should have to go through, particularily someone who has been a Verizon Plan customer since about year 2000. Everyone seems to agree that I am entitled to the free gig but no one seems to be in a position to help this customer. Its a horrible way to treat someone. I talked with the original saleslady today and told her I would be in tomorrow to turn in the phone and get a new one along with the gig I was entitled to. She said that would be fine and wouldn't be a problem but that she would be happy to try calling Verizon once again to try to resolve the issue. I indicated that I'm done with wasting time taliking with well-meaning and courteous (and I assume underpaid) employees who I assume are pretty much directed from above that any concessions they make, even if the customer is entitled to them, will reflect badly on their employee evaluations . Good thing I am retired or I would really be worked up. They only way I would consider even talking to Verizon anymore on this is if they were to waive the $60 in upgrade fees my wife and I paid for the new phones. How do I get the keyboard in the notes section of the ipad to pop up? It was working all day today and then stopped.
I find it's touchy. Tap anywhere on the note to bring up the keyboard. If you tap and hold, you won't bring up the keyboard. Just tap momentarily.
If you can't get it to work, try restarting your iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears, then drag the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
If it still doesn't work, try resetting your iPad. Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. -
Hi, I've been using the 3D function in PS, upgraded to CC2104 and it was disabled (need more VRAM). I then reinstalled CS6 and was able to use it for a day and now, today, I am getting the same message I got with PS CC2014 saying my VRAM is too low again. I'm in the middle of a project that needs to go live tomorrow. HELP!!! Please.
Photoshop requires 512 Meg of VRAM or more to use the 3D features - that's been the same for version 14 (CC) and now 15 (CC 2014). Check Help->System Info to see how much your card says it has.

Resolution
If you encounter either of the above symptoms on your iPhone, follow these steps to attempt to resolve the issue. Test after each step.
1. Toggle airplane mode: Tap Settings > Enable Airplane Mode, wait five seconds, then turn off airplane mode.
2. Turn iPhone off and then on again.
3. Remove the SIM card and verify that it's a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it isn't damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
4. Check for a carrier-settings update. Connect to a Wi-Fi network. Then tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, iOS will ask you if you want to install it. If Wi-Fi isn't available, connect your device to iTunes.
5. Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
6. Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
7. Restore the iPhone.

logged in to iTunes today and my playlists were gone and all uploaded music was gone-no recent upgrade or computer change-why?!
There is one way, however I strongly recommend you back up your music since while this process has a very high success rate, very rarely it messes up with your iTunes, so better safe than worry, yes?
Please read first through all the instructions and make sure you understand them before doing anything
Once you have backed up:
1. Quit iTunes
2. Open the iTunes Music folder, on a Mac this is in ~/Music/ and in Windows it’s in Username\My Music\
3. Drag the file labeled “iTunes Music Library.xml” to your desktop
4. Drag the “iTunes Library” file to the desktop as well (make sure this is no longer in your iTunes folder at all)
5. Relaunch iTunes
6. Before doing anything else, go to File -> Library -> Import Playlist
7. Now navigate to your desktop to the “iTunes Music Library.xml” file that you placed there earlier and select it
8. iTunes will recreate your playlists

I sent for exchange account have accidentally broken the display ...If you sent an iPhone 5 in for service/replacement, that is what you will get back from Apple. Replacement iPhones are not upgrades but identical in specifications to what you sent in.

Your mileage may differ, but when you reach the end of the trial period, you will get a dialog telling you so and directing you to log into CC and activate that version. You don't need to reload the program usually.
That said, if you were being careful, you would copy the program files to another directory. Since the program manager assets are just pointesr to the files in the directories were they reside, you shouldn't need to copy the video/image files--just the program files -
