Citrix and SAP 8.8 : SAP crashes after choose country in master data

hi,
i'm using SAP 8.8 Sp00 PL06 and citrix xen app 5.
Each time the users try to add a new business partner and try to change the field country in business partner adresses the system crashes.
If i work directly on Server everything works fine. It seems that 8.8 has a problem with citrix.
Has anybody a solution for this problem

Next to the SAP Crash Dump there are no eventlogs written down to the server.
Which Authorization Issue do you mean? Why there should be an Authorization issue if the Application (and others) are working correctly? There are only certain steps/processes which are crashing the application (within the application herself).
I've read about an mostly simmilar problem with webinterface 3.0 and SAP Business One Crashes. At this time the computer name was more then 15 characters --> crashing application.
There is again an access violation. I've read about printers. What about them?

Illustrator/indesign and premire pro cc 2014 crashes after splash screen

Hi, I can't figure out whats going on, I had CC running fine, the 2014 updates came and all software except photoshop crash after the splash screen. I have done everything I could think of. Verified fonts, I've uninstalled and re-installed creative cloud and the software. I ran adobe cleaner which get rid of the original CC software (I didn't want that to happen) I've deleted preferences, ran disk permissions and repair. CS6 software install and runs.
I am lost to say the least as to why photoshop CC 2014 works and yet, the others crash. Any Ideas?

Can you send the Adobe Illustrator CC 2014 crash logs to me at [email protected]
The steps to get the crash log are:
1) Open the finder app.
2) Press command +shift + g to open the "Go to the folder" dialog.
3) In the text edit field type "~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports".
4) This will take you the DiagnosticReports folder.
5) Please share the latest crash log file from this folder.

Is there a SAP standard way of dl/up G/L accounts master data?

I was asked to create a download program to get the G/L account master data from one server and create an upload program to automatically create the G/L accounts.
Download: Access SKAT, SKA1, SKB1 -> save to spreadsheet
Upload: Batch input or maybe read up on how to do it using LSMW.
Halfway in making my the program, it occured to me that maybe SAP has a standard way of doing this?
Tried to search for it. Found FS15/FS16.
Would these do it? How do they work?
*Both source and target systems are running SAP 4.7

1)fill field filename in fs15
example '0001'
2) transfer file per ftp
from /sapmnt/XXX/global/FBIS0001
to oth. server same directory and filename
with XXX = sy-sysid
3)and use the same file in fs16 0001

Process Dimension after BW to BPC Master Data Load

Hi All,
i'm looking for the way to process a dimension after master data load from BW to BPC (following the corresponding how to guide in BPC 7.5 NW). The new members are visible from BPC Administrator -> Mantain Dimension Members, but not visible in BPC for Excel after "Refresh Dimension Member".
New members are visible only if i process dimension from BPC Administrator , but I want this task to be automatic.
¿Any ideas?

I'm using Standard Process Chain IMPORT_IOBJ_MASTER in BPC 7.5 NW SP03. I will open a Sap note.
As a quick solution, I found in SAP Help (is 7.0 but I suppose it's the same behaviour in 7.5) there is another Process Chain (ADMINTASK_MAKEDIM) that can be used to process a Dimension http://help.sap.com/saphelp_bpc70sp02/helpdata/en/36/339907938943ad95d8e6ba37b0d3cd/frameset.htm. It has two parameteres ("Dimension Name" and "Input File"). Help says that if you leave "Input File" field blank, the dimension is processed, but it is mandatory field in package.
I have tried to modify package parameters but always appears an error with MEM_XML_PATH parameter in process chain.
¿Does anybody know how this package/process chain works?

Material master once created cannot be deleted.Only thing u can do is to mark it for deletion
Go to Logistics > Materials management > Material master > Material > Flag for deletion > Immediately.
Give the necessary data that is needed for the view you want to delete.
Press and flag the view you want to delete.
Now the view is flagged for deletion. This means that it's use is limited and it will be cleaned up or really deleted at the next clean up of the system.

SAP GUI 7.2 Crashing after server selection

I'm having an issue with one of our users. It has been working fine before. Windows 7 32bit. Whenever she selects a server to log in to it just closes out SAPGUI. I have tried reinstalling, updating to the latest patchlevel and removing everything SAP related off the machine. This is only happening to one user. You may be lucky if it installs. By the time Windows 7 came out SAP had de-supported SAP GUI 7.20. The SAPSetup.exe release may not be able to recognize any recently updated Microsoft OS DLLs necessary for installation.
However, I would recommend you check the services file to ensure the necessary ports are correct and that either your local firewall or network firewall isn't blocking any of these ports. This should clear up the error: "Cannot connect to message server".
I can also see there is a permission issue with open, write read with %sfile. Can you ensure this has administrator permission's or permitted to do these activities.

Google Chrome and Skype Won't Start / Crashing After 10.9.2 Update

I installed 10.9.2 today and am unable to start Google Chrome, Google Chrome Canary, or Skype. All 3 of them seem to be failling on the same piece of code ("FillInSystemVersionInfoFromString"). Has anyone else seen this issue? Could it be related to some other conflicting software? I don't see the issue with any other installed applications, and the same thing happens when I try starting the apps from a brand new user account. I also already tried to re-seat the 4 RAM sticks, no dice.

Installed Leopard 10.5.1 and now my Mail tool crashes after 3 secs.

Mail was working fine before accepting 10.5.1.

Yes, in the Applications folder it is reported as 3.0, but when open, and using About Mail, it is reported as 3.1 -- haven't explained that yet.
Hold down the Shift Key while clicking on the Mail Icon in the Dock. Does it still crash?
If still crashing, drag the Mail Icon from the Dock, and then open Mail from the Applications folder -- does it still crash?

Tried to download movies onto IPad 2 and keep getting download error message after it spent hours downloading data. Had 4 movies lined up and want to cancel downloads as I started this process 5 hours ago. Wanted to take ipad with me on plane tomorrow,

Tried to download 4 movies to IPad 2. After 1 taking 1 1/2 hrs received download message on 1st one. Said to retry and is 2 hrs later and still downloading. Others show waiting... I want to cancel the whole deal as something is wrong. On MacBook shows that I've already purchased these movies, but they don't show in library and won't download.

OK, Today I went ahead & booted & tried again & it worked this time.
Not sure why it didn't yesterday. Maybe the servers were just overloaded? Several others reported similar.
Also yesterday when I ran Speedtest it showd download at about 25 mbps, This morning just before I re-started the download it was showing just above 30 mbps. So maybe the internet was less busy? Or at least the parts between me & the test server.
& so far it is working ok.

Why does itunes crash after choosing ipad in device list, ideas?

tried to load some apps via iPad app store, ran out of room, connected to Mac to dump some music, iTunes launches, as soon as I choose iPad from Device list, beach ball and quit. No idea what to do. MacBook running 10.7.3, everything up to date.

System Still posting Secondary Cost after locking everything in master data

Hi
My question is i am putting a cost against service order through confirmation of activities. This service order has work centre and work centre has cost centre assigned to it to calculate cost but the cost centre is blocked for every kind posting but after confirmation system is still posting to calculate cost against that cost centre. If i try to put cost directly against that cost centre in journal system will stop me to do this but for secondary posting (although it is blocked for that purpose as well) it is still posting through the scenario i have explianed enough. Can anybody explain me how can i stop that?

To alter the effect of this indicator so that sender cost centers are also locked against allocation, change the type of messsage GM 155 from I (information) to E (error). Go to OBA5 and change the message control.

Master data tables not available after installing trail version sap abap

Hi Experts,
After installing trail version of sap for practicing SAP ABAP..i am not able to access master data tables like MARA EKKO etc.
Please let me know how i can access these tables data .
Is there any alternate to access these tables?

Hi Siva,
Master data table and any other application table are not present in trail systems. Notice that solely purpose of those trials is to learn/practice basis stuff and ABAP programming.
If you need to practice ECC's modules like FI, SD, ... you need to have an access to IDES system. For this you need to be SAP partner or customer.
