Citrix reciever update?

i"ve been using Citrix Reciever on my iPad to access my office desktop and our hospital's EMR. It's been great. Today, the App Store notified me of an update, but when I tried to download the new version, I got a pop up that said: "The item you tried to buy is no longer available."
I searched the App Store and Citric Reciever no longer appears. Why would they announce an upgrade and then remove the app entirely? Any ideas?

I use the Citrix papas well and got the same message when trying to download.
My thoughts are the same as James Ward. Possibly they released and update but found a glitch in the new version and pulled it. Wait for a day or two, there will probably be a fixed version.

    Doesn't sound right to me. When O2 unlocked my iPhone they just sent me a text message when it was done, which told me to connect the iPhone to iTunes.
    Connecting it to iTunes actually performed the unlock and gave me the "Congratulations, your iPhone is now unlocked" message. I then stuck in a different SIM to check it had worked ok.
    A few people have reported having to reboot or restore their iPhone for the unlock to "stick".
    Which network is unlocking your iPhone? It should be the same procedure for all of them.

  • Win 7 VPN Client 5.0.07 no longer works properly with Citrix DNE Update

    Since Cisco Systems VPN Client does not work properly with mobile broadband on Windows 7, we've been successfully using Citrix's DNE Update to fix this for about 6 months. All of a sudden, machines with the DNE Update stopped working properly over VPN (whether using mobile broadband or not). The only fix is to unbind the DNE Lightweight driver from your network adapters, uninstall the DNE Update and reinstall the VPN Client. However, then you cannot use an aircard with VPN as the DNE Update was the fix.
    Symptoms of the VPN issues with DNE Update:
    -web pages displaying garbled
    -internal web pages not rendering at all
    -remote connectivity not working (VNC)
    -RDP connects then crashes with data encryption errors
    The only change that I can identify on our machines and in our environment would be Windows updates, but I've been unable to identify which one might have caused the problem.
    Has anyone encountered this issue and found a fix? Does anyone know of another reliable fix for VPN Client to work with Windows 7 and aircards?
    We're looking at moving to another VPN solution but that will take time and we need a more immediate solution.

    No offence . . . .  but you need to read the complete thread before posting re:IP address & gateway
    I'm not posting head end config because the config works with XP
    There are no W7 specific parameters with ASA 8.3(2)
    Multiple W7 machines have been used to test this.
    We are looking at extracting level 15 logs from the client end - I will post if they don''t give an obvious answer.
    TAC still not able to resolve this.

    Because of the Problems iPhone is having such as:
    The bug that makes the iPhone signal look more or less than it should by 2 extra bars
    Yellow colour when your filming/taking a picture at night with the light on
    Fingers crossed the new update will fix these problems, If not one of these problems. I doubt they'll ever fix the antena problems so best thing if your a left hander use the phone with a bumper,Hold it different or buy a different phone. For right handed people buy a bumper if this effects you or get a different phone!

    Sounds like you have nothing to contribute but to pass along rumors. I'm sure Steve is losing sleep over your post.

  • Client failing to recieve update via WSUS

    I have created a virtual lab environment and I am testing WSUS.
    I have deployed and configured my WSUS server as well as creating a GPO to point clients to my server.
    When manually checking for updates through windows update I receive error code 80244019.
    I have reviewed the update logs and feel there is an issue contacting my WSUS server. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

    During my initial investigation I had already confirmed both the background BITS and windows update services were running.
    I can confirm that after checking my policy and amending the "Specify intranet Microsoft update service location" to the following, to include the correct port

    I have been able to resolve the issue.

    There seems to be a typo in Verizon's announcement.  It should say:
    + No "SIM pop up issue has been resolved".
    Just a subtle difference. 
    I don't have this problem, but several people have reported that the "No SIM" popup it still exists.

    I dont understand why apple has chosen, to keep the 3GS going, for $0.99 on AT&T, i understand that the iPhone 3G was discontinued around 2011, but why couldnt they still make lite versins of the firmware, for example 4.2.1 lacks some features. They could have very well done that wirh 4.3.3 and 5.0.1

    The processor is too slow and there is not enough RAM in the 3G for iOS 5.

    I am not familiar with Citrix Reciever but is it possible it is open or being used in another open app?
    Try quitting all apps then try again.
    Quit all apps: Double tap the Home button and swipe the app preview page up for each open app

    I just recently upgraded our Xserve to Lion server so we could start deploying Lion clients.  The upgrade seemed to go fine, but the Software Update service may end up being a deal breaker.  I can get Lion clients to connect to the server for updates, that is not a problem.  The problem is when Lion client says it needs to download additional software to run a program, in our case a Java runtime environment.  When it looks on the software update server it says "The software is currently unavailable, please try again later."  If I point it back to Apple it works just fine.  We need to have our clients recieving updates locally for bamdwisth reasons, but if they cant get the software that they need then it makes having a local SU server useless.  Anyone know how to fix that?  And on a side note the new Server app that is supplied with Lion doesn't list SU as a service, and I can't figure out how to add or remove the services.  Am I missing something?  Thanks.

    To access many of the Server Tools in Lion Server you'll have to go to apple's website and download the Server Admin for 10.7 Server. This is the familar to 10.6.x server admin tool that apple does not include as the standard set of tools. Once you download it you'll have access to these additional services via the GUI:
    DHCP
    DNS
    Firewall
    Mail
    NAT
    NetBoot
    Open Directory
    Podcast Producer
    RADIUS
    Software Update Xgrid
    LJS

  • My iPhone 5 won't update/install apps !! Any idea why ?

    I own an iPhone 5, an iPhone 4s and an iPad 2.
    They are all not jailbroken and are all running on ios 6.0.1
    While my iPhone 4s and iPad 2 have no problem updating existing apps or installing new apps, my iPhone 5 won't update/install apps all !!
    To be fair, about 2 week ago, all my iPhone 5 update/install won't work but after a day or two, they started downloading.
    But now, my iPhone 5 updates and installations have been stalled for a week.
    What is happening ? Can anybody please help ? Thanks.

    Okay fixed it:
    First of all make a backup and sync your iPhone in iTunes.
    Next reinstall your iPhone using DFU mode:
    (FIND HOW 2 GET IN DFU MODE ON GOOGLE, APPLE DO NOT ALLOW TO PUT IN LINKS HERE :-( )
    Then choose to put your latest backup back on your iPhone.
    And voila you should see you now can recieve updates from App Store.
    (It worked for me)

  • I have v1.2 on my nexus 4, and the update function doesn't seem to be working. What is the app.update.url I should point my phone to?

    I select 'check for updates' and it will not display anything other than 'checking for updates...' below the button. I do not see any internet traffic in the status bar as it does this. Also, I have left it to 'check for updates' all night, to no avail. Any definitive answers would be great. 'https://update.boot2gecko.org/beta/update.xml' doesn't work and neither does 'https://aus3.mozilla.org/update/3/%PRODUCT%/%VERSION%/%BUILD_ID%/%BUILD_TARGET%/%LOCALE%/%CHANNEL%/%OS_VERSION%/%DISTRIBUTION%/%DISTRIBUTION_VERSION%/update.xml'
    I have searched extensively to find where the update channels are located and those, and variants like them, proffer no changes in my situation.
    I am starting to wonder if it is the program responsible for checking for updates, or if it is the build for nexus-4 that is having the issue.
    Another question that would help in my search to resolve this issue is, does anyone know what program is responsible for checking for these updates?

    I have since changed my build to master, but this time without using mozilla-central as my gecko path. I have had no issues so far with the stability of the master branch, as I did in the past with mozilla-central as the gecko path.
    After having done this, and restoring my /data/local and /data/b2g directories, I am now recieving updates. At least, it updated my marketplace after booting for the first time. Also, I am no longer getting the check now stuck at 'checking for updates...'.
    So, I am going to call this solved with changing to master, without using my .userconfig. Further, using Michelle's input, I will periodically git pull, repo update, and reconfigure, build, and flash the master branch.

  • HT1338 How do I update my 2009 Macbook OSX 10.5.8 to Mountain Lion?

    I'm not even sure this is possible... My computer has stopped recieving updates so it looks like it's about time for an upgrade but I haven't a clue where to begin given how old my current software is. I read the requirements for Mountain Lion and my computer is compatable but I'm still quite confused. Please help!

    Buy or Obtain an OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard disk. These cost $29.99 a peice, and is required to use the Mac App Store.
    Run software update. You only need to install the OS X Update. You don't have to update other things like itunes until you have Mountain Lion.
    When you have the Mac App Store available, launch it. Locate Mountain Lion. Should be on the front page. Buy it with your iTunes account, similar to buying a song or an iOS App. It will download an Installer application. If the application does not launch automatically, launch it. This application will lead you through all the steps required.
    Before you update, make a backup, if you have not already made one. Do not use Time Machine if you are on 10.5.8. Use something like Carbon Copy Clonor. (Google it). You should probably back up your entire disk.

  • Updating software for iPod Touch Model MC086LL

    The current software on my iPod Touch is 4.2.1 and I would like to update it to the most recent software or to the 4.3 version at the very least. However, when I click check for software I receive a message indicateing that my software version is uptodate.   I know for a fact that it is not the current version. How can I get my iPod Touch to do a software update?  I have read and followed the instructions in the iPod manual and some instructions I have found on this site, but I still cannot get the software to update. Some of my apps should be updated including the one I use the most to listen to my ebook.

    I have no reason to purchase a newer version iPod Touch, I just want to up date my software.  There should be a way to do this and I wish I could find out how.  A 3 year old device is just not considered old, in my option, and should be able to recieve updates.  (F.Y.I., my windows computer is over 7 years old and I can update it's software.  If Apple makes you purchase new devices in order to have newer software, then I don't see me buying any more Apple device which is sad as I just purchased an iPad and "love" my iPod Touch.)
