City guides in new Maps3?

Hi
Ive purchased city explorer even though I had the full traffic licence. But where are City guides that used to be in maps 2?
I mean you used to be able to buy guides for big cities and they even advertise it now guides from lonely planet etc.
I cannot find them anywhere...

got the following reply from nokia, so am I right in thinking that there arnt any "guides" as such it is just places of interest that is built into maps3 like eating places and attractions with contact details for them? I cannot find a "more" like the instructions state in point 3. Where can I view 3d landmarks?

How to create a new map to replace the current sample map in City Guide demo? The current map is kind of cool, because the citywalk script shows the figure walks pass all the road and landmark. I wonder how the map is being done in such a way?

What tool do you use to create Raster Map and what tool you use to get the WGS84 project?
I am a beginner in this area, I hope you can give me more pointers/guides, otherwise, I would have to read up/explore lots of applications before I can start to create my 1st Raster map and get the WGS84 projection to replace the City Guide Map.
All I want to do is, to create a new sample Map myself, having simple rows of shops and streets, and then collect the coordination, and lastly replace the City Guide map and create a new simulation Script to replace the citywalk.xml

N95 8gb: Berlitz city guides vs Wcity guides

I have a new N95-4. I have tried to purchase Berlitz local city guides. My phone balked, however, saying 'Unable to Validate License'. Calling Nokia technical support only yielded conflicting recommendations. I later found that I could purchase the WCity guides (the blue ones). I can't explain this. Has anyone else had this experience?

Atlantic City, NJ and New York, NY calling area

I have search the Internet for this and have not had any real luck.
What is the local calling area for Atlantic City, NJ and New York, NY, that will not occur long distance charges.
Mainly for Atlantic City, I'm worried about if Ocean City, Wildwood, and Ventnor City are all included or not.
For New York, NY, I just need to know if the whole city local, I would assume, but New York, is setup completely different than most cities I've seen, with 5 boroughs in a city and it being fairly large with multiple area codes.
Also, all this would be the exact same at a Verizon or possibly others payphone as well as just a Verizon landline correct?

Same thing happened to me. It doesn't even matter if you ask explicitly for the weather in NYC.
I asked for the weather in "New York City" and got the results for New York, TX.
I then asked for the weather in "New York City, New York" and got the same results for New York, TX.
Than I asked "What is the weather today in New York City in the state of New York?" and got the weather for New York, TX.
I asked for "Manhattan, New York" and got the weather for TX.
But when I asked for the weather in Brooklyn... I got the weather for Brooklyn, OH.
Pretty impressive.

City Guide Example/Demos?

I want to purchase a city guide, but before I do, I'd like to see what it will look like on my phone and what sort of information it offers. (I know what the book guides are like for World Cities or AA, but what's it like on the phone?)

i have motorola a1000 with integrated agps-modul and the example doesn�t work.
can anybody help me?

the problem is that a1000 doesn�t support cldc 1.1 so i had to change the example a little bit working without float arithmetic. The result is: the screen simply freezes. I thought the condition of supporting locationAPI is at least MIDP2.0 AND cldc 1.1.
is there any special example for motorola using locationAPI?
i think the problem is that a1000 doesn�t really support locationAPI(jsr179)
may be it uses propery API�s (like com.motorola.location or sth like that)

Click "Account" under Quick Links at the top right of the iTunes store. Next to payment information click "Edit" and then select "None" under payment method.
On an iOS device go to Settings>Store>Apple ID>View Apple ID>Payment Information>None.

Some shows (HD only) not getting flagged in Guide as New

In the FIOS Guide, many shows are correctly flagged as "First Run" on the regular display channels, but not flagged as "First Run" on the exact same HD-version channel.
For example in the guide, bring up Thursday, Sept 26th at 8pm.
Channel 4 shows that a new episode of "Parks and Recreation" will air (its the 1-hour season premiere)
Channel 504 (HD) also shows "Parks and Recreation" in the same timeslot, but its not flagged as "First Run" and thus the series manager doesn't schedule it to record. But both are showing the same episode then.
Some channels are ok - e.g. Channel 2 and 502 both show a new episode of "Big Bang Theory" airing at 8pm.
I have several other examples of this. Therefore to set up recording the new season of TV shows, I either have to schedule the non-HD airing, or schedule all HD airings including repeats.
Any way to update the guide ?

I just received my new device by FedEx today, and there was not an activation guide included in the paperwork. Can this information be found somewhere on the Verizon website? I would rather not drive to the Verizon store to activate my phone.

Software that is missing and a easy guide for new use

Somtimes, when we have a mp3, it just has the file name as information. So when we upload a whole bunch of mp3 files sorted for {0} until 999, or A until Z. Now when I want to upload it i fireup the zen micromanger explorer thingie, I create a new map, then I select my files copy > paste in the zen micromanger explorer thing and wait until it has uploaded. Then I add it to the playlist.
Now the problem! A lot of them don't sort automaticly in playlist while they are fine in the uploaded map(i.e in sequence). Why does this differ, and how does one fix this? What steps are exactly required to fix this?

Now when i need to GUID must run Power shell as below

And that is the only way. Its not viewable in EAC.

City Lens after new update on Lumia 710

It isn't working. The app opens and as soon as I click an option, it says "There was a problem. Please try again"
It used to work fine before. Its only after installing the update that I'm struggling.
Yes, I've tried uninstalling and re-installing it.

You may already know that in Windows Server® 2012 R2, the Remote Access server role includes the Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS) role service. (It also includes DirectAccess and Web Application Proxy, however those role services will not be discussed
in this article.)
The new deployment guide demonstrates how to use Windows PowerShell to deploy RRAS as a virtual machine (VM)-based multitenant software gateway and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) router that allows CSPs and Enterprises to enable datacenter and cloud network
traffic routing between virtual and physical networks, including the Internet.
You can use the gateway with VM networks by using either Hyper-V Network Virtualization or Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) - but using Network Virtualization is recommended due to VLAN limitations such as difficult management and a limited number of

How can I copy guides from one PS CC document to another?

I'm working on multiple files which will all go into a book. I have guides set, but I want to copy these guides to new documents. I have not been able to find the answer, I just find multiple asking the same question. Anybody have any ideas/

The link was for the Photoshop Scripting Forum where you can search the existing threads or ask for help in a new one.
Seems like this should be a simple procedure expecially with so many people making books from photoshop documents.
It is not that complicated if you know a little JavaScript and the Photoshop Document Object Model.
But if you are willing to start from scratch instead of transferring existing guides an Action might also work.
