CJI5 commitment line items open items only
hi guys,
on the CJI5 screen paramter, there is one check box open item only.
Could someone tell the exactly meaning of the paramter? How can we judge an WBS commintemnt line item is open or not open?

we always get the commitment amount from COOI table, if we do the partial GR for a PO iteam, can we still get the right commitement from COOI table via field WHGBTR?

Difference between cleared items,open items and all postings (FI).
Hi experts,
Can anybody tell me the difference between cleared items,open items and all postings for an account.
While running corresponding bapis and transaction FAGLL03 (for GL) or FBL1N (for accounts payable) i found that in some cases all postings is less than cleared items or open items for a time period. How could it happen.According to my knowledge all postings should contain cleared items and open items.
Please correct me..

For every Billing Documnet created(VBRK/VBRP-VBELN) there will be an accounting document created in BSID/BSAD tables.
OPEN ITEMS means the Billed/Invoice Amounts that are pending from Customers, i.e which we have to receive from Customers.
CLOSED ITEMS means the AMOUNTS received from that customer.
OPEN ITEMS : fetch data from BSID table Only
CLOSED ITEMS : fetch data from BSAD only.
ALL POSTINGS : fetch data from both BSID and BSAD.

CJI5 commitment line item report not showing po gross value
Dear All,
system is showing only net value in CJI5 report, actaully gross value of po must be reflected in CJI5 report and this happening in all po's like material, service's etc. example is as follows.
Example:
po net value: 1000
st 10%: 100
po gross value : 1100 (inclusive of all taxes, ed, disc. etc)
what could be the reason for not showing po gross value in commitment line item report.

As far as i know the commitment report will never show you the value that is inclusive of taxes. It will only show the net value of the PO.
I just tried a scenario in my system by creating a PO for a net value of 3000 GBP and based on the tax code i entered system calculated a tax of 525 GBP. However when i check CJI5 report it shows only 3000 GBP as commitment and not 3525 GBP. This is how the standard system behaves, i believe. You can cross check this in the table COOI. The COOI table also shows the net value of the PO and does not include the tax amount in commitment.

BAPI To get GL Line items (Open Item Managed GL)
Hi,
I am looking for a BAPI to get GL open line items that usually I can download from FBL3N. This is required for Open Item managed GLs. The BAPI can be similar to that of BAPI_AP_ACC_GETOPENITEMS or BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.

GL Open items, line items
Dear All,
My client requested for the GL account that was originally maintained as 'line item display' only, to make it 'open item management' also.
Now we have list that contains both line and open items, and they can not close it (it always remains as open item if the combination is between line and open item).
Is there any way to close items like this?

1) To Zero the balance and clear the existing line items in the Account and change and save the tick by changing the Message.
2) To close and transfer the balance of existing GL account to other New GL account and start using the new account.
3) To run SAP program RFSEPA03

Customer line item cleared but still it shows open item in FBL5N
Hi,
We have cleared one customer open item.
Posting date of Invoice is 08/12/2010 and
Posting date of Incoming payment is 10/12/2010.
But in FBL5N system still it shows the same cleared line as open item even though it is showing cleared document in the same line item.

1)Check the Key date
2)Check if it was a partial clearing or not
3)Check if there are another open items inside the customer invoice, (e.g. 1 payment for several invoices or 1 invoices with mutli line items and contains different payment)

Open Items Management for B/S Account
Hi Friends,
I have a b/s account in which open items management is turned off[unchecked],
We have already made postings to that account, Now when I try to turn it on, it gives me error message that balance needs to be zero to change the status of open item management.
Is there any other way , I can change the status of account.

Create a new account with the correct account assignment. Post your items to the new account. If you want to use the original account number, you must bring the account balance to zero, change the account assignment, and re-post the items. You can remove the old items by archiving the documents.
Please change the error to a warning and you will able to skip it This will allow you to change the indicator XOPVW.
Keep in mind that changing the account management to line item/open item display is not recommended by SAP.

The facility to manage line items on an open item basis enables you to check which receivables and payables are outstanding. In Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable, your accounts must be managed on an open item basis in order to be able to use most procedures (such as dunning or payment).

You are editing an account with contract status Closed when the following applies:
There are outstanding receivables for this account or another account of the business partner.
You wish to redirect any incoming payments for this account to a special work account or CpD (suspense) account using the Posting Control Rules.
For accounts with contract status Closed you can change the values of the following fields:
Closed Account with Outstanding Receivables
Posting Control Group
Line Item
Line item that provides a detailed audit trail of the development of the amounts displayed in an asset.
A line item is created for each transaction for each depreciation area where posting takes place. The line item contains the:
Transaction type
Asset value date
Amount posted
Depreciation and interest from the transaction
Proportional accumulated depreciation, if applicable

When viewing When viewing commitment line items and actual/plan/commitment reports in CO, there appears to be a difference between the two.
I have executed transaction KSB2 with the following parameters:
Cost centre group CSAW-01001
Expected debit date 01.04.1998 to 25.05.2007
Open items only selected
Layout - /RCSYSADM
Maximum no of hits 100,000
If this report is sorted by value there are some rather large credits e.g. purchase order 4500121042 is showing a credit of 3.4m.
Firstly I dont understand why there is such a large credit commitment for this purchase order and why when I execute S_ALR_87013620 for cost centre THETST90 in this financial year does the commitment not show up?
Does this imply that the commitments have not been rolled over correctly every year?

Check reports S_ALR_87013018 (List Total Plan /Actual / Commitment) and S_ALR_87013019 (List Budget/ Actual / Commitments).
KOB2 report lists Commitment line items and KOB1 gives actual line items for Internal Orders.

Commitment Line Items not transferring to Actuals
Dear Gurus,
bit of an odd one here.
PO was raised to an IO with 3 Cost Element Account Assignments
i.e.
£2000 to 450511
£1000 to 450512
£500 to 450513
Commitments appeared as expected. All's well..
However, somehow when the service entry sheet was entered (ML81) the Cost Element account assignments got changed. The actuals all went to Cost Element 450511. Actuals now reads £3500.
BUT, when we now look at the commitment line items (KOB2), only the £2000 that was originally designated to 450511 has gone. The £1000 and £500 are both still there. So my Commitments still reads £1500, although there is nothing remaining on any POs. Therefore, my Actual says £3500, my commitments say £1500, and my budget claims to be £1500 overspent
The PO has now been invoice receipted and paid, so we can't just reverse everything and start again. Please help!Dear Sankar
In order to clear Business Area wise Go to F-03
Enter G/L A/c and CoCode
Choose Business Area as Additional Selection
Click Process Open Items
Enter Reqd Business Area & Click Process Open Items
If Business Area does not appear in your line layout then Choose Setting --> Change line layout
Double click the current layout and Insert Business Area field in your layout and save.
Thus now you will be able to clear the document Business Area wise.

Customer open item line wise details
Hi ,
I have customer open item for 240 days. Now he has made payment today for part amount only. I have cleared this amount against the outstanding amount. Now in FBL5N open item is only for balance amount. BUt when I CHECK REPORT- S_ALR_87012178 days for the open item is between 31 to 60.
How this dates are calculated.I have posted document today so it should either come from 1 to 30 day range or in 240 to 300 day range as balance is outstanding from that date.
Help me to resolve the issue.Hai
The duedate is calculated according to the baselinedate which u will maintain in terms of payment(OBB8).In terms of payment u will maintain baseline date as document date or posting date or none.mostly u would be selcted the duedate as document date thats why i believe ur line item is showing in between 31-60 days.

I am getting the following error while doing periodic posting in flexible real estate management.
" Open item account line with flow type Z240 has to contain a partner"
" Open item account line with flow type Z820 has to contain a partner"
Message no. RERACA005
I have found a similar message in this forum.
This error is not coming for other flow type Z120 in the contract.
The accrual type for accruals is set as ANRVCN and Accrual type for deferrals is set as TRRVCN in the definition of flow type with S Debit posting.
For ANRVCN , posting supported is " Only periodic" and for TRRVCN " All"
Please guide as to where I need to check and correct.

Unable to trace out the Reference Document number in commitment line item.

Kindly help me in bellow problem
When I click the reference document no. in the line item wise display the commitment in t-code S_ALR_87013558 at that time the system open the display PR screen and the massage is displayed in the below, the Purchase document does not exist.
Due to this reason the price capture in commitment line item is not traceable and I am not able to delete the commitment line item.
Kindly suggest how to trace out the reference document number and delete it and release the commitment price.

Do you want to correct the data in the report..?
Or it is effecting your availability control and you want to correct it..?
Or you want to trace a deleted document..? Which is not possible...
