CK-7W Bluetooth with Pop Port being used

I have the CK-7W (without the cradle) and an N93.
Everything works great with it except when I have a FM Transmitter connected to the Pop Port so I can play MP3's from the N93.
My problem in this scenario is as follows - A call comes in and the sound is routed to the radio via the transmitter. I have to disconnect the transmitter from the Pop Port. The phone then returns to the General Profile, not the Car Kit profile. So, I then have to try to activate the Car Kit Profile (either from the phone itself or by a single push of the 7W button). Then I have to press the button again to answer the call.
By the time I have done all this the call is usually long gone.
Anyone else have this problem? Any way to set it up so that it reverts to the Car Kit profile automatically when a call comes in (ideally!!) or at least when you disconnect the transmitter?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Is that the old holder from an old carkit? I've always thought that the CK-7W was built to be wireless and that the phone doesn't have to be physically connected.

  • Bluetooth-PDA-Sync port in use

Hi, I can't seem to edit or delete the Bluetooth-PDA-Sync. It says the port is in use, but I'm not sure what is using it. I have my Palm Hotsync manager disabled, and it is not selected in Network Preferences either. I did mess with Share2Blue2th before and used Terminal to type in some sudo commands. But I've reset the computer and don't believe any ports are in use. Is there some preferences I can scrap to make the Bluetooth-PDA-Sync available again? I'm trying to fiddle with it to sync my Treo over Bluetooth, but it won't let me edit anything in it because it says the port is in use.

This did not work for me. The only change that resetting the Treo 650 has done is to make the error message, "Unable to initiate...," appear more quickly.
I have two other problems related to making my new phone work with iSync. Apple says "From the Devices menu, choose Enable Palm OS Syncing." There is no such option under the Devices menu.
    Further, Apple says this:
From the HotSync menu, choose Conduit Settings.
In the Conduit Settings window, double-click iSync Conduit, then select the "Enable iSync for this Palm device" checkbox.
But of the things enumerated under the Conduit Settings, "Enable iSynce for this Palm device" is not one of them.
I am using OS 10.4.4; iSync version 2.1.1; Palm desktop version 4.2.1
These are all the latest. Bluetooth pairs with the device and my phone can 'see' my computer, so this is not the problem.
I hate to give up on this phone and this capability. I would appreciate any advice or knowledge anyone has.

  • How can I know a port being used or not

Hello, I have a trouble, I don't know how to realize whether a port has been used or not.
For example, I have some command:
    ServerSocket server1 = new ServerSocket(2001);
    ServerSocket server2 = new ServerSocket(2002);
    ServerSocket server3 = new ServerSocket(2003);
    ServerSocket server4 = new ServerSocket(2004);
I wonder how I can realize the fact that server1, server1, server3 or server4 is avalable?
    Please help me. Thank you.

Maybe you misunderstood my question. Not in the slightest. I answered the question you asked.
The fact is that you asked the wrong question. You asked about ports in use. You're now asking how to know if a Socket is active. That's a different question. A port is different from a socket, and they're both different from a connection.
To answer that new question, Java provides Socket.isClosed(), Socket.isConnected(), etc.
But note that all these APIs can do, in any language, is tell you what you have personally done with that Socket instance, in the current application. So actually these APIs are formally redundant: all they do is just maintain a few booleans recording what methods have been called. What they don't do, and can't do, in any language, is tell you about the state of the connection. Only reading or writing can do that.

  • Looking for a wall powered hub with the ports being powered up to 15 watts

Anyone know where I can find one?

Well I have found my solution. The firewire port on the mini puts out 8 watts of power and it is powering a firewire drive with USB 2 and Firewire 400 port an iPod and an iSight.
After doing a lot of research and talking to Belkin and Otherworld Computing they said it is most likely a power issue as iMovie would require the iSight to draw more power to display the larger image for the imovie view window. They said the Belkin f5u524 4 port hub has powered firewire ports of 12.5 watts each and the power come from the wall unit not the firewire cable.
I think I have found my solution.

  • Upgrade : Issue with Specical character being used in 4.6C ( Dynamic calls)

    Hi ,
We are working on Upgrade from 4.6C to ECC6.0 . in SPAU phase we are facing an issue :
When we are trying to see the variants from the program, it says that the program contains Syntax Error
"In Unicode programs, the "&" character can not appear in names as it does here in the name 'op&xv0' "
The 'op&xv0' is a form. we tried changing the form name, but couldnt get the PERFORM stmt for the form and it might be a dynamic call. what can we do for this type of programs?
Please also suggest how we can identify the places where that particular Subroutine is being called.
    Thanks & Regds
    Teja

This is probably an operation defined in Tcode PE04. You can change the operation subroutine name and then modify the code accordingly in the report.
Go to PE04 and put in operation name, suposedly &xv0.
Instead of using standard name suggested by SAP use custom name (for example opYvx0) and then change in the report as well and it should be ok.

  • Ipod nano won't sync with windows after being used with a mac

how can i sync my ipod with my new windows based laptop after using an old mac for years? it says it will erase my library if i sync.

Connecting to a new computer will always erase your device first. But you can copy your music bought in iTunes before, if you disable autosync in iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices, right click on your iPod in the device list and choosing "transfer purchases".
After your songs are copied, let iTunes set it up again and sync the music back again.

  • DENON AUDIO RECEIVER, Crackling in the all speakers with any device being used

    I have extended warranty....
If I turned it in would I just get a replacement model because I don't want a refund ..
Also is this common?  Is there a quick explanation?  If not anyone want to take a stab at what's wrong?
PROBLEM=  CRACKLING in all the speakers,  happens with every device (blueray, DVD, TV, IPOD, Computer)
it starts to crackle simply when you turn on one of said devices otherwise its quiet..
Note.  Not just devices (the radio tuner also, so its not a" HDMI cord gone bad")
It seems like anything that that makes the receiver use it's amp any power at all the crackling begins

Sounds like we have the exact same issue.. its not the devices or the speakers it's in the receiver.. luckily i have a Denon repair shop in my town .. so i can work closely with the techs and maybe finally figure this out.. i pray it's not something that gets fixed then poof! after a week just comes back.. I mean Denon will have to supply us as consumers with a working none defective product.. there selling lemons, If this is a major known problem with them.. this is disturbing.. there not cheep machines.. I mean this cost me some serious money and all 7 new speakers, blueray, and plasma to go with it.. so i have so much invested in this that i am pretty worried.. i'm not angry yet, but if i have to experience what you are experiencing my temper gauge is going to shoot straight up like a rocket..
Please if there is an admin that is a Rep. for Denon, please tell me what you will do if the problem cannot be fixed? it doesn't seem lawful to continue selling defective products at premium price.
I will update this post when the repair shop gets on the issue.. i know the owner very well and most the techs.. So i may be able to post helpful new analysis so all of us can end the problem for good... they open on Monday so I'm looking forward to what they have to say.. Thank you for your response, although it was encouraging, knowing someone has the same issue, helps takes away the worry that i have done something stupid to create the issue..
last thought.. when you say they know of the issue.. did he expand on what they think it is and there plan to fix it? what happens when my factory warranty runs out???

  • Alternative Apple TV setup when HDTVs only HDMI port is being used?

I have an older model JVC HDTV that only has one HDMI port (being used). Is there an alternative way to connect my Apple TV Black?

    Hi Rudegar,
I did some more research and I think what I am looking for is called an "HDMI Switch."  Not sure exactly what it is, but it seems like its more than a traditional 'splitter.' It was recommended in other threads for older HDTVs with only one HDMI port, which gets used by the TVs receiver.
    Have you heard of this?

  • Ports being damaged on PxI-6508 DIO

wondering if anybody else has run into this or something similar. I'm using two PXI-6508 DIO cards, one in slot 2 of my chassis and one in slot 3(PXI-1010 chassis). the card in slot 3 is for digital outputs, slot 2 is for digital inputs.
A few months back I had to have the card being used in slot 3 repaired because some of the ports had been damaged (pins were stuck high). After the board was returned I installed it in slot 2, now the other board that is in slot 3 has damaged ports(not the board that was repaired before).
The confusing thing is that the board that I'm testing with them is just an interface board, it's basically all straight feedthroughs some with pullups or some lines are inputs to an inverter or something similar
. Nothing high current/ voltage. The pins that got damaged actually just drive lines with only a pullup and no other electronics, so I'm basically coming from slot 3, through a 1K resistor in my fixture, into the B.U.T. and then into slot 2.
I was told it could be a grounding problem and to make sure the grounds from slot 3 and 2 are at the same potential...they are. One interesting thing though. The cable coming from slot 3 was damaged and one of the grounds from the card was not getting to my fixture...but the other one was...and the grounds are connected internally on the PXI-6508 so as long as one is connected to my system ground then I should be ok right?
Anyway, has anybody else had problems with DIO cards? Like I said I'm not working with high currents or voltages...only ports being used as outputs have been damaged.
    Any advice?
    Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply Spencer, yes it turns out the same lines were damaged in both instances. Actually the ports CPBA, CPBB, CBPC were damaged both times.
I found a problem in my fixture where I had two digital lines coming from the DIO cards (both outputs) going to the same pin on my board (via two different connectors) I was driving one of them high and low while the other one was initialized low but not used. This could have been my problem, essentially what I had done was connect two outputs together, both initialized low, and then driven one high. I've made the necessary changes in my fixture and HOPEFULLY, this problem will not occur again.
    Thanks

  • E65, CK-7W and which Pop-Port?

    Hi,
I have read that the E65 does work with the CK-7W - good news from the discussion pages, thanks! I have also read that the E65 is compatible with Pop Ports (from Nokia). Question is: which holder links the E65 to the CK-7W? I have a MBC-15s holder at the moment.
    Can anyone help?

Is that the old holder from an old carkit? I've always thought that the CK-7W was built to be wireless and that the phone doesn't have to be physically connected.
