CK11N :: Multiple Active Routings

Hi friends,
We are haivng a confusion that, for a single material we are having multiple active routings, can you tell me during costing run (CK11N) system will pick which routing? Here we are getting very first routing in costing run. How can we change some another default routing for cost estimation.

Dear Krishan Raheja,
Goto CK11N,enter the material,plant,costing variant and costing lot size,,dates and now click on the
quantity structure tab page,here you have the option of selecting the BOM usage you need and also the
particular routing you need for costing purpose.
Say if you have created 2 routing's for the same product ,but not maintained any production version,then
in this case for same group number for task list type N(routing) the group number will be same,but with
2 group counter's 01 and 02 and R(Rate routing used in REM scenario),so you can enter the task list
type as N,group number and group counter number whichever you need and check what's the results.
This will solve your issue.
Otherwise if you are not doing this means,your costing variant will be defaulty having a BOM selction id
and routing selection ID,this selection ID will be having in turn some selction priorities,based on this the
system seraches the BOM and routing and proposes this for costing.
Check and revert back.,

I know that solution is simple we can maintain separate cost center for both activity types i.e 1 to 1 mapping of cost center to Activityu2026So Actual posting weu2019ll be fineu2026.
Then what is use of Kp26 to maintain 1 cost center to multiple activity types?

You have pointed out a valid concern.. There is a solution to it as well, however, very cumbersome and less practical
In OKKP - You allow some control indicators i.e. CCA, IO, PCA, COPA, etc.. Here, you need to allow Activity Type as Addiitional Account Assignment Object.... (This is below Cost Center Accounting)
While booking expenses from FI, you can specify the Act TYpe along with the cost center... Provided you have that much patience and it is identifiable....
Also, you can assign act type in Asset MAster so that while posting depreciation in AFAB, the same gets assigned to Act Type

I have created an implementation for the EXEC_METHODCALL_PPF badi which is triggered from an action in a transaction.It is working fine in the development system but while transporting it to the quality system I am getting the following error.

Diagnosis
There are multiple active implementations of the same business add-in definition, even though this is not allowed.
System Response
This is not correct and should not occur.
Procedure
Deactivate the implementations active for this BAdI definition one by one until there is only one active implementation left.
You should use transaction SE18 (Utilities -> Adjustment -> Multiple-use interfaces) to solve these conflicts systematically.
But I am apprehensive if deactivating all the standard implemenatations of the badi will create any problem.Please can any one suggest as to how to resolve this issue....

Please check the following suggestions
a) go to se18 -> enter your definition name and see if "Multiple" call check box is ticked in Quality
b)compare your transports since some objects in development may not have found it's way to the quality server
c)Please see if for the same definition,for different filter values...implementations are done...if so,is multiple checkbox marked? in quality also?if you have multiple implementations with the check box not marked..the message conveys u cannot have multiple implementations of the same badi....
d)also check if the filter being passed to the BADI is ok

Status Profile: Multiple Active Statuses

I have created a status profile through BS02 and assigned to a couple of Sales Document Types.
After implementing, I have found that there can be multiple active statuses. This is not a desired result.
1. Is there a way to control the profile, so that only one status CAN be active?
2. Is there a way to "fix" the orders which currently have multiple statuses?

Hi Tom,
after creating status u need to assign status to sales document.the particular status work for that sales document only.Go to VOV8 in transaction flow tab u enter ur status at status profile field and save the document.
Please do check the status how u maitained Ex.for qotation bolck,order block,delivery block... assign appropriate status to the sales document.

Multiple Activity Codes lost after upgrade?

We just upgraded UCCX from 8.5.1 su3 to CUCM to 9.1(1a)
In UCCX 8.5.1 CAD we could select multiple Activity codes by holding down the CTRL key, since our upgrade we are not able to do so.
It seems that we have lost functionality, is there any way to turn this functionality back on?

CK11n with activity prices from different plan versions

Hello,
We are looking for a simple & practical way to calculate a standard cost estimate for a material using activity prices from different CO plan version.
In the valuation variant of the costing variant the CO plan version is determined from where the activity prices are taken, eg version 0
So, we want to cost the same material using the activity prices of a different plan version, eg 90, or 91 ... but without using a different costing variant per CO plan version(so without having to create/customize a separate costing variant per CO plan version)
Is this possible?
Can we use costing versions in this respect?

I'm doing research about the difference between Bitlocker Drive Encryption and McAfee Endpoint Encryption. I've been using wikipedia wiki Comparison_of_disk_encryption_software (sorry can't post a link apparently) as a starting place, but I need
solid sources instead of believing everyhting on Wikipedia.
I found most by myself, but 2 things are not clear for me:
1. Multiple keys: Whether an encrypted volume can have more than one active key. I can't find if that's the case or not, the reference on Wikipedia doesn't seem to work anymore. This doesn't mean multiple factor authentication (i.e. TPM
+ PIN), but can there be 2 PIN's that can decrypt 1 volume.
2. Modes of operation: On Wikipedia there is a reference to a document that dates back to 2006, is this still the case today or did something changed in Bitlocker? If so, that answers 2 of the modes, but can someone shine some light for
the last three: CBC with random per sector keys, LRW and XTS.
Help will be very appreciated.

• BitLocker with a TPM and a PIN
• BitLocker with a TPM and a USB startup key

De-authenticating users with multiple active sessions

the answer to my questions, but this one has me stumped. I've implemented the
Session Timeout utility successfully,
but I would like to add another function that would exchange a transaction_id between
the user and the server, as mentioned

When I try to use this new function, the initial cookie gets set and the value is
inserted into the table. However, when I try to navigate to a second page, the value
in the cookie is not the same as the value in the table. When I keep all of the records
and compare them to all of the set-cookie calls, it appears that the
table is being updated more often than the cookies. I would really appreciate some
input on this problem or another way to validate that the user is active in
only one session.

Art - Thanks for the detailed problem description (with code). The problem you're seeing is due, in part, to the fact that an application's session verification function is run on every page show and page submit. Based on your function's logic, when you show a page, a cookie is sent (after you purge the table and do an insert). Then you submit the page and it runs again, purging the table, inserting a new value into the table, and sending that value in the cookie. Then the page branches to the next page (usually doing a URL redirect. Here's where it messes you up. Whenever a redirect is done, apex clears the HTTP header, so the cookie doesn't get to your browser. When the next show page request is handled (as a result of the branch), the function checks if the browser's cookie matches the value in the table. It doesn't.
The solution will involve having the function not do its thing if a page "submit" is being processed. There might be better ways to detect this but here is some could you could try:    if owa_util.get_cgi_env('REQUEST_METHOD') = 'GET' and
       lower(owa_util.get_cgi_env('PATH_INFO')) = '/f' then ......which would be true for show requests only (f?p URLs). I have to tell you though, that with some of the newer request types (ppr pagination, csv/fop output, on-demand/ajax invoked processes, ...), you may have to tinker quite a bit.
Also, in your code I see you use the LOGIN_USERNAME_COOKIE cookie to identify the user. This will not be reliable if a user is using the same browser to run more than one application. You really should use v('APP_USER') to identify the user (authenticated or not). And if your user is running multiple apps in the same browser, your other cookie needs a name unique to the application lest one app's cookie overwrites the other's.

If you have maintained the payment term in the Purchase Order, it will overwrite the payment term which is maintained in the Vendor Master. If no payment term is maintained in the PO, then the payment term which is maintained in the Vendor Master will be considered.

Can ACS support multiple Active Directory Domains for 802.1x EAP-TLS?

I'm looking to implement ACS 5.2 using 802.1X, we have two seperate AD domains.
Now.. this is the tricky part...
A single switch will need to support both ADs, so if a machine in AD1 is connected, it will be authenticated to the ACS using AD1 and applied to VLAN1, while a machine that is in AD2 will be authenticated to AD2 and applied to VLAN 2.
I'm looking at machine authentication, not user authentication, so I assume that I will need to import two certs from each AD.
Can any expert please let me know if they think that this will be possible please??

Yes ACS can support multiple AD domains but you will have to configure one as your AD domain and the other as an LDAP database and this will work since you are planning to use eap-tls.
The question I have is which version of ACS are you using? If you are using ACS 5.x then you can setup and identity store sequence so if the user is not found you can move to the next store and this will prevent you from installing two certificates on every machine.
You can then setup an authorization rule for the seperate containers on where the workstations are located (this is assuming machine authentication is being used) for the AD database or the LDAP database and then assign the vlan based off that.
