  • SB Live ct4830 drivers for a 64bit ABIT KV8 Pro Mob

    Hey guys,
Was wondering where to find (If even possible) drivers for my old SB Li've ct4830 on an ABIT KV8 Pro, 64bit Mobo and Pocessor. Running Win XP Pro 32bit with SP.
Or would the 6 channel "onboard" sound be better than the SB Li've ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,

  • T500 drivers for WinXP64 ?

    hi everyone
now i'm proud of my new "business" notebook and at the same time i'm absolutely gutted about the driver support!
a business notebook should work in an business environment, so why aren't there any drivers for win xp professional 64bit? do you really think, anyone in a company uses vista for it's business notebook? or has to have the newest os (win 7) from microsoft in an running environment accepting the incalculable risk of dysfunction of an untested system? (ignoring the immense costs of changing a whole it infrastructure? or managing different architectures (xp and win7 and ...) ?) so, in my humble opinion, in business win xp64! (cause it's a 64bit cpu in this laptop!! or not?) and win 200X server are still state of the art! or am i wrong?
after getting the network card working (with the original intel lan drivers! the lenovo stuff didn't work!) i hoped, all unsolved driver problems may be fixed with the newest service packs. nope. bad luck. so i tried the "Think Vantage" to make a system update and hopefully get the correct drivers. nope. this software is buggy and faulty method calls stops this software with an absolute specific error message: "There was a error while collecting user data." ah, ok, i see! thank you for this information. (write me, if you're interested in the log files)
conclusion: i like thinkpads and i always used them. but if i can't do so anymore cause lenovo may think that a 64bit machine should not host a 64bit os and win xp at all doesn't use anyone anymore - i'm sorry! nice marketing strategy of "how to destroy an outstanding reputation in 24 days" (maybe for dummies, cause it'll work that way by sure!!!)
all your nice little tools and gadgets are cute, but first of all, i need a running system - means drivers!
maybe anyone has some ideas where to get some manufacturer drivers (xp, 64bit)  for the "audio device on high definition audio bus", some "base system device"s, the network controller (wlan), the "pci simple communications controller" "sm bus controller" and 2 "unknown device"s ...
for the lan device - intel has some 64bit xp drivers on its homepage (the prowinx64.exe works, ask me if you need a link).
thanks a lot for your help! + greetings

It is rather unfortunate, but Windows XP x64 is not supported by Lenovo.
Most of the drivers are available but not on Lenovo's Support website. You can find the Intel chipset, graphics, wlan, and ethernet driver at intel.com. I hope this brings you to a somewhat usable system.

  • ATI Drivers for WINXP64

just the last thing i need for a kick ass 64bit windows xp (hang on!?!) system is some OpenGL ATI graphics drivers for me radeon 9700Pro
    ANYONE HELP!
    PLS?

    yeah its well bogus bas
Fill out the word document form - fax it back to us - fax it back to you - then email or copy - LOL!!! - I gave up when I saw the type of questions they asked!
ok - well as far as i have gathered from windows support forums and planetamd64 is that ATI is being all secretive and crap about it - there were sum beta drivers posted on planetamd64 forums but they were quickly forced to remove them.
A statement issued by ATI - and also in their FAQ's (me tinks) not too long ago said that they would only release BETA versions to registered BETA testers and they would do no such official release UNTIL windowsXP64 bit edition is actually launched - EVEN MORE BOGUS!!
So pls - anyone whos got a copy of dem mentioned drivers sort me out pls!!!!!
i know someone out theres got em :>
heh - cheeky - but wot the eck - u dont get if u dont ask ;>

  • Drivers for XP 64?

    What's up folks?
I seem to be having a hell of a time finding nforce 3 drivers for WinXP64.  Is MSI waiting on something or am I just blind, because I can't find anything anywhere.

Whether its worth it or not is a judgement you have to make.  If you enjoy testing new OS's then you should go for it.
You won't see night and day differences but it is running stable on my machine and things seem a bit snappier.  As more programs support Win 64 then you will start to see bigger differences.
You can install both Win 32 and Win 64 on the same HDD.  Windows will create a boot menu that allows you to do this. You have to install Win 64 last if you want to do dual boot.  MS does not recommend dual boot but a lot of us use it.
Its a little more complicated than with just one OS, but again you have to judge if the added complication is worth it to you.
Also the preview version is free and  you can use it for 360 days before it expires.  If you don't get in on the free verison you will probably have to play for the final version when it is released this spring.
    Good luck.

  • Drivers for audigy 2 va

<SPAN>I ordered my soundblaster audigy 2 value from a reputable online vendor and received the goods through the post today. However the driver cd had a hefty crack right in the middle, rendering it completely useless.
<SPAN>No problem I thought, I'll just download the drivers from the creative site. Three hours later I'm sitting here writing this in sheer disbelief that I cant find a single driver for love or money.
<SPAN>Let me just say its the first time in all my years of experience I have been unable to find the required drivers for a piece of hardware.
<SPAN><SPAN>Do these drivers exist anywhere online, or do I have to waste god knows how long sorting it out with my retailer? I sincerely hope somebody can point me in the right direction, because frankly this is a ridiculous state of affairs that could have been sorted out in minutes if Creative had the same level of product support offered by practically every one of their competitors.

I had made a similar post previously, and if you read these forums, it seems a lot of people are being inconvenienced by not having available stand-alone drivers. I bit the bullet and paid for an installation cd to be shipped to me, and it seems you might need to do the same. To bad writing drivers is not an easier process!

  • Lastest drivers for the SB Audigy

?Hi all,??When I install the latest drivers for my SB Audigy SE (version .04.0077),? my sound card shows as an SB Li've! 24-bit in windows XP. Is there some kind of problem with these drivers recognizing which card is installed? I'm wondering if this will cause any problems, whether I should stick with the older drivers? Thanks in advance for any info,?DW

The Canon MG series uses two protocols - Apple's Bonjour and Canon's own "canonijnetwork". Bonjour is used by the printer and scanner component, while the Canon protocol is used by the printer only. Given that you cannot locate either via the Add printer window and I'm assuming the printer is networked, then open Safari and then its preferences and select the Advanced tab. You will see an entry of Bonjour and the option to enable it in the Favorites bar or Bookmarks menu bar. Enable one of these and then close the Safari Preferences window. Now open the Bonjour bookmark (via the Favorites bar or Bookmarks menu). Do you see the MG5220?
If not, then check what IP address it is using by printing a network data list. If you then enter the IP address into Safari (for example http://10.0.1.10) this should connect to the internal web page of the printer. Does this happen? If yes, then it at least shows that you have a working connection between your Mac and the printer. If it does not connect to the MG5220 web page, then check what IP address your Mac is using and compare that to the MG. Typically for a home network the first three sets of numbers in the IP address (known as the subnet) are the same and the last number (known as the network address) is different for each device on the local network.

  • What about the vista drivers for the audigy seri

now that the xifi vista drivers are out, when can we expect the (non-beta) vista drivers for the audigy series?

Actually, you can use the X-Fi-Drivers for the A2ZS. Simply unpack the install-file (e.g. with WinRAR) and run the setup.exe in the "Drivers"-folder. The Audio-Console will be installed too, you'll find it in your "windows/system32"-folder by the name "CtPanel.exe". I use the x64-bit version of Windows Vista, so the AudioConsole for this version couldn't see the installed Audigy-driver for some reason. After I've copied the CtPanel.exe from "yourunpackedinstallfolder/Drivers/wdm/common/i386" to the System32-folder, the Console worked as it should.Because the Console has not the best variety of the options, I've also tried to install the creative-programms from my CD. I could install the "Speaker-Settings"-tool, and it works fine. But the Surround-Mixer seems not to work under Vista, mooving the sliders has no affects on the real volume. I hope, Creative will release the good-working Software-Suite for Windows Vista, I really don't want to argue with the Audio-Console.Message Edited by theLost on 03-08-2007:28 AM

  • Will there be new Audigy 2 Drivers for XP64? Or N

Will there be new drivers for XP64 and the Audigy 2? I FINALLY found why my Audigy 2 gives no sound in the center or rear channels. I have more than 2 GT of RAM. In my case I have 4G of ram and the I/O space used by the Audigy is mapped above the 2.8 GB boundary of XP and the drivers do not work. If I do a /maxmem=4096 in my boot.ini, everything works as it should.
So I know this has n=been reported for the XFi, and a fix will come, but will a fix come for the Audigy?
    Thankws

I also have the problem with Pinnacle PCTV/Audigy 2, reported by numerous users both in SB and Pinnacle forums. (The problem in short, is that if Timeshifting is enabled in PCTV Vision, the line-in is muted when recording, resulting in silent recordings. Effecti'vely, this means the timeshifting feature does not work with Audigy 2) I have an on-going support case with Pinnacle, but they do not seem to acknowledge the problem; they just go on about updating drivers and re-installing the software. Clearly, the problem is a quirk with Audigy 2 that PCTV does not handle. So who to blame? To add to my frustration, I discovered that my Audigy 2 is a Dell OEM version, so even if Creative were to fix this, I would have to wait for a Dell specific version of the driver. Sorry for all the negativism, but I needed to vent...
On the positi've side, I did discover a work-around that actually seems to work. I can enable the integrated sound on the mother board, connect the PCTV card to the integrated line-in and the head phone jack to the Audigy 2 line-in. Then configure PCTV to record sound from the integrated sound. This is not ideal, but again, it works
