CLAD exam question for recent test takers

I have scheduled for a CLAD exam. I have been reading many questions posted on LAVA and NI forum, working on example exams but still not very confident. Especially, after seeing people saying the actual exam was much harder than the two sample exams on NI. I wonder if it is true for recent exam (Summer, Fall 2011)? If anyone who just took the test, please verify this information

As for that, I would like to add a question to this thread:
Am I able to recive any help on the exam if there are some words I don't understand? Like getting them translated for me or something?
I'm familiar with most of LabVIEW's terminology, but not all the other complex words used in the example exams.
Like this for an example:
The words I've marked is not trivial to me, and I'd might fail this type of question on the CLAD exam

If these problems are real life problems then start buying more iron
If these questions are from some kind of exam/test of interview for a job.
Start laughing and leave the training/company. If this is really a test to check your knowledge level, then your are ( I hope ) largely underevaluated.

How to fix no of question for specific test

Under the Test Sections, there is field "no of question", although i have map no of question with the question bank is 100 but i just want it to display on 10 every time .
could you pls advice, how to do this.

Can you clarify if you have this test set up as a Rule-Based or Pre-Selected test (main test properties page)?
With a rule based test, when you add test items to a section, you choose a test bank and the number of questions you want to pull each time from that test bank. So if you have a test bank of 100 questions and you want it to randomly pull 10 each time from that bank, you enter 10 in that field.
With a pre-selected test, when you add test items from a test bank, you have to choose the specific questions that will appear.

I was wondering , as a recent switcher, is there a way to transfer pictures onto blogger.com like hello/picasa? From the PC, picasa would basically load all pictures from my HD and send what I wanted to the Blogspot for publishing on my page. I'm planning taking "1Z0-007 Introduction to Oracle9i SQL" from Oracle web site I found 2 companies that have exam questions 'Self test' & 'Transcender'

I seem to remember the're now both owned by the same Company Kaplan but operated independently.
From comments I've seen I think Self Test is slightly cheaper and some regard Transcender as slighty hgher quality.
I've never used tests from these providers myself but there are occasions I would consider it. Of the two I'd probably aim to plump for Transcender but I'd be well tempted by Self Test if cheaper.
End of subjective comment:
One important thing is that there are the authorised Oracle Test Providers which is a good thing: The bad news is there are other test providers who are not authorised and they are known to set up spoof look-alike sites mimicing these companies.
So its best to vist their sites by going to:

Preparing for CLAD exam with LV Basics I and II

Hi
This is my first post, so I want to say hello to all the users. I am currently preparing for CLAD exam. I participate in a course containing material from Core 1 and Core 2. I also have a CBT Labview Basics I and II kit. Does this CBT kit still cover all topics needed to pass this exam? It says that it`s almost 6 years old, so I want to ensure that it`s still worth of using it. Thanks for all the answers.

"Also be aware, I've spoken to quite a few CLAD exam takers in the last year and they all agree that the current CLAD exams are much harder and trickier than the sample exams here on ni.com. One taker for instance missed only one question the first time he took the sample CLAD exam but failed the actual exam by a couple questions. So make sure you're overprepared!"

What to use to study for the Clad exam?

Hello to all who may read this.
I will be going for my CLAD exam in just a few months and I hope that I will pass it and finally attain my certification.
I have a question for anyone who can answer it. What materials should I consider using to study for this test? I have been to the Basics 1 and 2, with Daq following that. I was a novice using LabView and could write a fairly decent program measuring temperatures and frequency sensors / transducers. However, I transferred to a new lab and haven't been able to even crack the book to maintain my level of knowledge for approximately 1 1/2 years. I haven't ever built a state machine or anything like that. My test will be in about 2 months, and I need a little direction on the study materials. Any help for me cramming all this in my head would be useful and appreciated. Preferably an app engineer or a clad, cld holder advice would be most helpful.

To add to one of the previous posts, if you can get a hold of a newer (7.x) version (while there are differences between 7.0 and 7.1 they're not huge) write programs using as many of the main concepts (Loops, cases, etc.,) as possible. It will help you in the CLAD exam, things that are theoretical will also be remembered in the practical part of your brain!. Plus, if and when you are ready to take the CLD exam being _very_ familiar with the environment will really help. The following only applies when you are ready to take the CLD exam:
As an addition to the previous post, (when you are taking the CLD exam), while you will be tested up to the version previous to the latest release, the test center may have the latest release on the computer you will use. Not much difference between 7.0 and 7.1, environment wise, but if all you have programmed in were the previous to 7.x releases, the environment (look and feel) of the "out of the box" installation is very different. The biggest problem that many have with the CLD exam isn't the difficulty of the problem as much as thinking of a solution and then implementing it within the test time. A good friend, and one of the best LabVIEW programmers I've known, wasn't familiar with the new lay out and didn't know that NI had given switches to make 7.x look like 6.x and the mental context switching and the looking for familiar tools in unfamiliar places cost him the exam (CLD) the first time he took it. The exam(s) are not terribly tough if you are prepared, but they are definitely not trivial either. Which is as it should be for them to have any validity!

Please go through the first book and third book ( ie. Logistics & Implementation ) . Why i am saying is you have some direct questions. when you go into the accounts book there wont be direct question. all the questions are based on business scenario.
But my advice is to get learn all have knowledge in all the books, do the test well my best wishes to get success for you online examination.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
