Clarification needed on some DW terms:

When asked on an interview, the following questions, what exactly is expected. (I will appreciate if you can include some examples in your explanations):
1. Have you been involved in data modeling?
2. What design experience do you have in BW?
3. What is entailed in data warehouse model? Is it conceptual data model, logical dat model and physical data model? If so, what actually is each of these models?
4. also, what is data analysis

With respect to SAP BW (in my opinion) -
1. Data Modeling would generally be considered the determining what InfoProviders you, how to populate them, dimension design, etc. This also might be considered the back-end. Some might look at creating extractors as part of data modeling, but don't think I would.
2. Seems like the interviewer wants to know if you have designed and created ODS and InfoCubes and maybe if you have created transfer and update rules.
3. You can google "conceptual logical physical DB design" and you'll get lots of hits for papers and presentations that go into this in varying details. From a BW perpective, you don't get particularly heavily in the physical design because SAP takes care of much of it for you, although you could consider determinations about number of InfoProviders and their design to be a component of physical design. Certainly things like partitioning and creating indices would be a piece of it.
4. Data analysis - to me could be two differnt things depending on context - could be the analysis of the data that you are considering bringing into BW, to understand what it is, how it will be used, relationships between data elements, etc. - or they might mean the analysis that is performed on the data after it is loaded into the BW - the query end of things - the "Business Intelligence" or "analytics" everyone seems to talk about these days.

In my requirement i need to default payment terms (VBKD-ZTERM) with 'A000' when the order types(VBAK-AUART) are 'ZBRE' and 'ZBC2' in VA02 transaction .
I found the user exit which is getting trigerred - ' exit_sapmv45a_004'.
But in that exit the tables which we are importing having neither payment terms nor order type.
So,can you please help me out .

It sounds like you cannot use either camera, nor the LED as a camera. I want to recommend a couple of things here.
First, close all the open and running apps on the phone:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the phone:

If you get a network timeout error, then disabling the computer's security software duirng the download and update usually resovles that error.
If that is not the error what is the wording of the error message.
Note that only a 3G or 4G iPod can go to iOS 5. A 2G iPod can only go to iOS 4.2.1

There already are some tools in the App Store (eg. My Medical - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-medical/id347860026?mt=8).
If you mean something that would interact directly with a Hospitals main system or such, I don't know of any. There are numerous companies now selling and setting up central records systems around the country, but I don't know of any that are working on companion patient tools yet.
Some charity and non-profit companies, like MedicAlert Foundation are working on such things and may have mobile apps on their radar, as funds allow them to develop such thing. MedicAlert already offers an EMIR service online, but no standalone mobile app for it yet (you manage it via their web portal).
Epocrates (owned by Athena Health) might also have something in the works, or at least an interest in such a thing.

Probably you have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Older versions of Pages 5 can not open Pages 5.2 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5.2 files can not be opened in Pages 5.
Anything that is saved to iCloud and opened by newer Pages versions anywhere, is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed over 95 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

You don't need conversion programs, iTunes can copy most of your content over to the iPad via the file sharing section, and some apps also support Dropbox, email attachments, transfer via your wifi network. There are a number of apps that you can get that support Microsoft office file (microsoft don't make an app versions of their software) e.g. from Apple there are Pages (word support), Numbers (excel) and Keynote (powerpoint), and from third-parties there are apps such as Documents To Go and QuickOffice HD

- What system (e.g. Windows 7, Mac OS Lion, iPad...)
- Where do you go (what web address) to start off?
- Why were you "forced" to do this?

Help..In need of some email clarification.

I am A new user that uses the Curve 8310 for work. Our work email is a POP3 over an internet server. At this point I can send and receive emails but when I delete them from the BB they will not delete from my outlook inbox. the same goes if I open an email on my BB they will not show open in outlook. With this set up should I be able to delete messages from the BB and have the message deleted in outlook? Should my email and BB be communicating better? any help is greatly appreciated.

Some clarification needed on PKCS #5 PBE

This is my first time posting on SUN Forums. Hope to be able to get your assistance in the programming field.
I have questions about PKCS #5, as I couldn't understand how it can help improve security when using salt and iteration count.
PKCS #5 states that salt and iteration count does not need to be kept secret as it is normally appended with the encrypted data.
To my understanding,
On encryption side, user will input a password and salt will be appended to the password, followed by a hashing algorithm.
key[1] = SHA-1(password+salt)
Iteration count addeds to key strengthening by:
Key [1] = SHA-1(password+salt)
key[2] = SHA-1(Key[1])
Key[i] = SHA-1 (Key[i-1]
Encrypted Data will then be obtained by:
Ciphertext = AES(Key[i] and Plaintext)
Hence the data payload will be as follows:
|| Encrypted Data+Salt+Iteration Count ||.
When the receiver receives the message, the decryption is similar.
key[1]= (password+obtained salt) from Payload
Key[i] will then be obtained depends on the Iteration Count,
and encrypted Data will be decrypted with Key.
My lack of understanding here is how does using salt increases security when the salt is public?
If a 56bit salt is used and only available to the receiver, any attacker who wants to decrypt the message might need to try 2^56 possible keys using a SINGLE password.
But if the salt is public, the only difference from adding salt and not adding salt is the key strengthening process.
How is password based encryption safer when comparing to AES-128 when the password the user input maybe commonly 48 bits?

I am very glad that you are helping me in this. What kind of encryption scheme do you think I can adopt? As I said. I would use Public Key cryptography probably using RSA.
What I have thought about is:
1) PBE I view PBE as suitable for personal use only. For example - if I want to encrypt data just for myself then using a password based approach makes sense since I don't have to distribute the key. I just keep it in my head.
2) PKCSYou would need to elaborate on this since PKCS is a broad brush.
3) Create a messaging server who can help distribute public keys. (But I left with 3 weeks upon completion and im not very confident of this because i dont know how to :( )Public Key distribution is fairly easy since you want everybody to have access to your public key. The public key could be broadcast as an SMS message or posted on a web server for people to download. I publish my public key on my web server.
So as what I derived from your post, the key distribution problem can be solved using asymmetric key algorithm. Pretty much so but not completely. One needs to be able to verify that a particular public key belongs to who you think it does. This process is normally done by distributing a certificate that contains the Public Key. The certificate is signed by a Certification Authority who does checks to make sure the purported owner is actually the owner. Since this is for internal use, rather than paying a fortune to a third party CA, one can use one of the free ones. Thank you :)You background makes doing the whole thing in 3 weeks a bit tight so you should leverage any third party software you can.
Since this is a school/university project you might just want to use PBE for the moment and then in your report explain the key distribution problem and explain how to a more comprehensive and secure system could be achieved. That way you get to do the work and to show your examiners that you have thought about the problems associated with your naive PBE based solution and can propose a better solution. In your position I would ask my Tutor for advice on this - it could save you a load of effort.
I don't work with Mobile devices so I don't know what libraries are available. I suspect you may need design your solution around what tools you have available.

Clarification needed in the Fault Handling Framework(Error Hospital)

I need some clarification on Fault Handling Framework...
Scenario:
My BPEL Process is Asynchronous.(10.1.3.3.1) and I tryed to invoke the another BPEL Process( which is used to select the Fname from the table using DB Adapter) . In the Main BPEL Process I have the Fault handling Framework and I done necessary changes in the bpel.xml. This is successfully working for Invoke Activity when ever an Remote or Binding Fault occurs in the Sub-BPEL Process and this Fault is send to Fault-Policy.xml in the server(bpel/domains/default/config/fault-Policy) and works accordingly to the action mentioned in the policy xml....( I have also made changes in the fault-bindings.xml ).
How ever this Framework is working fine for every actions.
Need Clarification:
1) Only the Binding and Remote faults will work for the Fault handling Framework.
2) can we use User defined faults (Buissness Faults,,,) for this........because I used the User defined faults to invoke the fault-policy.xml and it won't works....
3)Only Invoke Activity can be handled for this Framework or any Other Activity........
4)How to handle other Activity in the Fault-policy.xml...
5)Any difference for Asynchronous or Synchronous in this Fault Handling Framework.......
I also referred the Oracle SOA Suite New Feauters PDF .......
Can any one send me the related documents and try to help me on this.

My Scenario:
I have 2 BPEL Process, BPEL1 will invoke the BPEL2 and if any remote fault or binding faults occurs in the BPEL 2 its returning the same fault to BPEL1 and here I am using FaulthandlingFramework , this fault send to fault-policy.xml and necessary action is took place succesfuly...(like retry, human intervention.....)
But when I throw some CustomFaults(userdefinedFaults)in the BPEL2 , its returning as a remotefault to BPEL1. I don't know how to use the customFaults in the Fault handling framework.......
Can you explain me in detail how to use custom faults in faulthandling framework...............

Im in need of some serious help...

Im new to using Logic Pro 9 and software for that matter, I need some serious help if there is anyone who can help me. I have a Imac and Logic Pro 9 and I would like to do all of my sequencing and editing here. But I am a dedicated user of hardware but would love to make the intergration of both. So I have 8 external hardware keyboards and sound modules I would like to use and sequence my beats on Logic. I have an Edirol Um 880 midi interface and also a Roland Integra 7 sound module that I am trying to use as my audio interface via USB aswell as use the internal sounds. Im having trouble with the set up and making it all work the way I am intending it to work. I have my keyboards and sound modules connected to the edirol midi interface via midi ofcourse and the usb cable connected to my Imac and the edirol and 8 midi ports show up in logic when I create an external instrament track, but when i choose one of the um880 ports and lets say i choose channel one I get sound but from all 8 of my external devices but should only here one sound per channel coming from that specific midi port not all 8 at the same time. Im doing something wrong. To add more info, my Integra 7 is connected using USB to the Imac also and Im using the audio Ins and Outs of the integra. Now I also have a mixer which all of my keyboards and sound modules are connected for audio and the outs of my mixer is connected to the inputs of my integra 7 to get sound into logic which I am getting sound, I can record and here playback but my problem is being able to seperate the channels to a dedicated track without pressing a key and hearing everything play at once. Also Im not sure(once i fix the first problem) if I sequence my beat in midi and then bounce the midi tracks to audio tracks afterwards to mix and edit each track. Im going wrong somewhere in my set up either in my edirol um 880, or the Integra 7 or in Logic Pro 9 or maybe just all of the above, can anyone help me out, Please. Also Im using OS 10.6.8.

Most synthesizer/MIDI controllers do not allow this kind of control as their front panel controls do not output MIDI data, so Local Control off means that only the keyboard can be used for controlling external devices but not the buttons, faders and pots.<

Will it refuse install? I know its not ideal, I just need to know.

It shouldn't be used like that, either use the hybrid configuration, of Intune integrated with ConfigMgr, or use them stand-alone.
Also, just for testing purpose, I just tried to install the Intune agent on a machine with the ConfigMgr client installed and the installation failed with an error message stating that the ConfigMgr client should be uninstalled first.
