Hi gurus,
Well, there are basically 13 types of triggers ( the combinations of before insert, before update, before, after insert, after update, after delete, and for each row option and instead of triggers) .. Apart from these , are there any triggers like session level triggers etc., ?? if yes, can anyone pass on the types of triggers link please

Today, I have attended an interview .. Unfortunately couldnt get thru .. But there were certain questions, which really blew my head off .. Please help me in getting the solutions ..
1)There are two tables (named x and y) in the database.. Both the structures of x and y are the same (columns and column names are same, and in y, there are two other additional columns) In x table there are two columns, the data in this table is somewhere around one million records .. Now I want to insert the data into y from x .. if I use insert statement, it will take lot of time .. What's the better alternative to insert into table y (keeping in mind the performance issue)
2) There are two procedures (named a and b) in the database .. From A (procedure), I am calling B .. Somewhere and somehow, an exception has been raised in procedure B, which I want to return (the exception name) to procedure A and also the control to procedure A .. How can I achieve this ?
3)What are the differences between RBO and CBO
4)I have to create two packages (named A and B), in which, in Package A, I have to create A1 procedure, and in package B, I have to create B1 procedure.. Now, I have to call B1 procedure from A1 .. and A1 procedure from B1 .. Now the twist is, if i am creating package A with A1 procedure, package B and B1 procedure hasnt been created yet .. or if i am creating package B with B1 procedure, package A and A1 procedure hasnt been created yet .. How can I call a procedure which is there in a package which is not yet created ??

The problem this way is that Oracle is constantly having to switch between the PL/SQL engine and the SQL engine for each Insert statement.
It's fine to embed SQL within PL/SQL as long as you don't keep making repeated calls where you can do things in a single SQL statement i.e.
SQL> begin
2 insert into t select x.object_id from all_objects x, (select rownum from dual connect by rownum <= 25);
3 end;
4 /Is fine because it just calls out to the SQL engine the once to achieve the task rather than multiple switching between the two engines.

1) If in case we r using OEM Grid controller,at that time database is running slow.so we can do the database is up , at the time what we have to do and how to clarify this problem ?
2) we r using 4 databses and we have multiple segments of 4 databases...users can use heavly for all databases segments @ that time databases contain heavy burden, so this case arise what we have to do for reducing the burden for databases?

If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. You can do as suggested already and use interface nodes and cross component mapping; but that is all really not necessary. It creates a situation where you calling application is too dependent upon the freely programmed input help. You want to try to avoid the situation where the calling application needs code or mappings to communicate with the input help.

If you can't get it reset that way, go back to the article you asked this question from and use the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section. Ifn this case, you can't reset the questions yourself, and nobody on these boards can reset them for you.

I just had the same problem. And I found the solution, on Youtube.
The problem is that these ******** at apple designed the battery compartement, the distance between metal contacts too big.
That means the batteries plus or minus poles are not touching the corresponding contacts in the mouses battery compartement.
Most likely the battery doesn't get pushed up to touch the plus contacts.
I used a fingernail to push the battery up and tadaa, the green LED came on.
The guy in the Youtube video just put some folded aluminium foil under the minus poles for bridging the gap.
