"Class not register" when creating in FM client

Hi,
I'm a newbie in FM application. I'm trying to install HFM and i guess it installed successfully without error. But when i'm trying to create a new application via FM client, i always got a msg box error "Class not register". Is there anyone knows this ? Profile was successfully created. Also, in workspace, i can see link Consolidation Administration, but there is no extended link, such as Create Application. Is there something wrong with the FM configuration ? I back and forth configure the HFM and workspace for a couple of times, and not to mention uninstall and re-install it again. but still couldn't find why. Please help. Thanks.

I tried to re-install the FM Application Server. Then I re-configure FM and workspace, and try to create an application through FM Client. This time, the error given was "You do not have the proper access rights to perform this task". I've checked in Shared Service and the login that I'm using now is perfectly provisioned with Administrator, Application Creator and Dimension Creator. I even tried to deprovisioned with Application Creator and provisioned again with Application Creator. I still got the same message error.
In fact, I re-installed FM (except the EPM), configuring and still got the same error. Is there anything I set wrongly? Please help. Thanks.

Hi all visitors
i have installed Crystal Report Server on my PC.
i want add the flash to to Crystal Report Server by go to File->Export->SAP BusinessObject Platform then
it shows me the message " Class not Registerd " then
The "Log On to BusinessObjects Enterprise" dialog box appears.
in System: I input my CMC(http://administratorPC:8080)
username:administrator
pwd:myadmin~
but at the Authentication, it doesn't show anything.
Note: before i follow this step and there is no message like this.

Class Not Registered error when opening COM+ Applications folder

This question was originally posted in the Microsoft Community / Win 7 forum, but I was asked to post it here.
As you can see below, I'm getting Error Code 80040154 - Class Not Registered when clicking on COM+ in Component services.

I took a look at the event logs but couldn't glean much information from them.
I also have issues associated with MSInstallVSSProvider when Uninstalling / Installing Norton Ghost 15. Not sure if they are related or not.
Below are the errors I get when Installing Norton Ghost 15. This app had been loaded on the PC earlier with no problems whatsoever. A few months later when launching the app, I got several error messages. Couldn't resolve them so I thought I would uninstall
/ reinstall. That's when I started seeing the MSInstall errors, which lead me to the Component Services area.

I suspect a registry cleaner (GlarySoft) is the culprit here. My mistake was not backing up the registry before running the scan. This won't happen again.

In the event error, can you read what {GUID} encounters the error message? Please also let us know the full error message.
Based on my search, this issue can be caused by the incorrect registry permission settings.
Please launch Registry Editor and navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{GUID} to verify the permission settings.
If it does not work, you may run Process Monitor to check what process encounters this error.

I have a page in asp.net using DIAPI and when I try to connect to SAP the following error appears.

Have reinstalled the client and registered the DLL did not work

Class Not Registering

I have not programming in a few years and found when I
started using my Homesite Ver 5 that I could not create a new
Project - got Class Not Registering when attempted to enter. I did
a plain uninstall/reinstall without benefit. I then searched the
site I found a reference to an elaborate reinstallation Knowledge
Base Article indicating that I should uninstall, clean out all
files in the Homesite5 directory, remove a couple of registry keys
(which were not there) remove two InstallShield Installation
Information files (which were not there) and then move the Install
Shield Engine and Scrip to the desktop and install from a copy of
the Installer Exe copied to the desktop from my CD. I did not do
the latter and the problem remains.
Now that Knowledge base article does not specifically refer
to my situation although one user claimed that solved his problem.
Surely there is a better way. I installed this program at least
three times when I lost a HD and bought a new computer. It has
always worked. I am stubborn but just what file is not registering
- I'll reregister.
Appreciate any help to avoid moving Program files to my
desktop and installing from my desktop - anybody know why it will
not longer works?

Thanks Roy - that was what I needed. Embarrassed that I did
not find since I thought I diligently searched for class not
registered - and of course did pick up the "wrong" one. Hard to
understand why that ever worked with a folder name essentially mal
formed. Once working deleted the old bin and having trouble getting
rid of the Micromedia with Windows telling me that it still
contains something (that I can't see). Will try booting to DOS.

After entering the required information and click create, I get an error message "CLASS NOT REGISTERED". Is there something wrong with the installation and configuration of the product. Will it be wose to reinstall the foundation Service and HFM again.

Class not registered TSLV when attempting to run a report in CE10 w/ sp2

I'm running Crystal Enterprise 10 with SP2 and receive the error message when I attempt to either schedule or run to screen any report.

I have reregistered all the .dll and .ocx files related to Crystal but I still receive this error message.

there was a conflict between the local Crystal Reports and Crystal Server client tool components. I had to uninstall and reinstall both solutions and was required to install and Crystal Reports related software and service packs first. Then the Crystal Server components installed with no issues.

Class not registered error, when open HTML files.

Hi guys, recently I've been facing this problem, everytime that I try to open a HTML file it shows the error message "class not registered", I've tried reinstalling and yet no luck, this only happens with firefox because I also have IE 10 and it works with that one but you know, I love firefox so I want to open them with it.
Additional Info:
I'm using firefox 20.0.1 on Windows 8

Try to redo the default browser setting and temporarily set another browser like IE as the default browser.

Class not registered error when saving picture from webpage

I right click to save a picture (jpeg) on a web page and get a pop-up saying "(filename) class not registered. I an using Firefox on a Windows 7 Home Premium Version 6.1,7601 SP 1 Build 7601 -- hp Pavillion g7 notebook.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

"Class not registered" Error when running Windows Explorer

Hi,
I've been having trouble running Windows Explorer + any related programs (Control Panel, Internet Explorer, etc.). Whenever I try to run such programs, a popup containing the following comes up:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu
Class not registered
Any help? I've tried using a registry cleaner, and the command regsvr32 ExplorerFrame.dll didn't work. I don't recall installing anything, and everything else seems to be fine.

Class not registered in dashboard designer?

Hi,
I am new to SAP and this forum as well kindly apologize for my mistakes and silly questions...
I have installed SAP Dashboard design version: 6.0.0.0 Build: 14,0,2,364 on my windows XP system which have already BO client version : 14.0.3 Build 613.
after the installation when i tried to add query from dashboard designer it is giving an error "class not registered" but i have already registered with the product code given to me, while logging on business objects enterprise through dashboard designer the authentication drop down is not showing any thing and i am unable to log on to access any universe.
My BI launch pad and webi rich client is working fine but the issue is with the dashboard designer.
PLEASE HELP!!!

JCOM - class not registered exception

Has anybody used JCOM successfully?
I'm trying to access a COM component from a java client using JCOM.
Component is registered locally (I can succesfully access it via other
clients). I created the Java wrapper classes with the com2java tool, but
when I try to use them, I get AutomationException - class not registered
error. CLSID in the generated wrapper class seems correct. Any ideas?

ComErrorException class not registered

I have set up a merge replication as follows.
Publisher and subscribers are mssql 2008 servers. It is possible to replicate via RMO from a Client Application. This works fine if there is an sqlserver 2008 installed on the client. If not we get the following exception:
Exception-Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Replication.ComErrorException
class not registered
   at Microsoft.SqlServer.Replication.MergeSynchronizationAgent..ctor()
   at Microsoft.SqlServer.Replication.MergePullSubscription.get_SynchronizationAgent()
On the client we installed the sqlserver Native client tools. In detail we installed:
SQLSysClrTypes.msi
SharedManagementObjects.msi
sqlcln.msi
sql_rmo.msi
sqlncli.msi
The Sqlserver-Dlls
Microsoft.SqlServer.Replication.dll
Microsoft.SqlServer.Rmo.dll
Microsoft.SqlServer.ConnectionInfo.dll
which are explicitly references in our source code are in the same directory as the .EXE-File

But setup is a bit different .. I have written a program to replicate using SMO v100 via, VS 2008 SQL Database Edition. and I have SQL 2008.
It works fine in dev.
Our on site client machines have SQL 2005 sp3 installed ... initially nothing worked but after much reading of this forum I discovered that I had to install (on site)
SQLSysClrTypes.msi
SharedManagementObjects.msi
sqlcln.msi
sql_rmo.msi
sqlncli.msi
as well as the dlls that Detected Dependencies for the installer installs.
The app now ran and Users happily Published a DB & Created a Subscription BUT when they try to use
MergePullSubscription.SynchronizationAgent via the code
var agent = sub.SynchronizationAgent;
We get the "class not registered" crash ... which is not at all helpful as an error message ...
I've tried the registering of
SqlMergeX.dll
SqlDistX.dll
That existed in the SQL 2005 COM folder (v 2005.90.4035.0) ... still crashes ...
Anyone else had this ? Does any one have an answer ?
