Classic apps don't connect to the internet (tiger connected)

hello. My classic applications (browsers, QuickTime) don't connect to the internet, although all extensions are loaded during classic startup, and tiger is connected to the net. Since I can't find anything on this in Mac Help, I'd be grateful for help on this.

how do you connect to the net . if its by DSL/cable go to the apple menu/control pannel/tcp/ip and select the builtin ethernet or ic could just say ethernet and select using DHCP server but before you do the above try this first go in to the system folder and go in to the prefrence folder and copy the tcp/ip pref file and the internet prefrence file to the desk top and then deleat the ones in the prefrence folder and reboot.

If it is WEP, one of the problems is that the actual standard relies on a 10 character HEX key for 40bit WEP and a 26 character HEX key for 128bit WEP. In order to make things easier, vendors use certain algorithms to convert simple alphanumeric passwords (or passphrases) into HEX keys, thus enabling the use of simple easy to remember WEP password rather than lengthy HEX keys. The problem is that different vendors use different algorithms to generate the HEX key and therefore a ASCII password on an AEBS will be hashed differently on a non-Apple client and vice versa. Make sure your apps are updated. You might try Settings > iTunes & App Store > Automatic Downloads - Updates = "On".
You cannot go back to an old operating system.

You may not really be connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPad a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPad (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

Windows 8.1 apps don't connect to Wi-Fi

I have a Windows 8.1 64-bit laptop and a few days ago i ran into an issue.None of my apps on the start screen connect to the internet even though the internet is connected and i'm able to browse the net.I'm not sure but i think this happened right after i uninstalled Kaspersky Internet Security.I looked around and thought it's a firewall problem but nothing is blocked in the firewall.I tried restoring default settings in firewall and performing a System Restore.I even tried re-installing Kaspersky but that didn't work.I also tried installing third party firewall software like Comodo but that didn't help either.I ran scans with Kaspersky and Malwarebtytes but they didn't find anything.
I downloaded a microsoft troubleshooter and it said i needed to trust my PC and that apps and start screen sync was turned off.
But i can't change any sync setting since it says that OneDrive is not connected to the internet

I grasp that you have Windows 8.1 and a few days ago the start apps no longer connect to the internet.
You ran the troubleshooter and were informed that you need to trust my PC and that apps and start screen sync was turned off .
When you tried to change your sync settings you got the message not connected to OneDrive.
Here is a link to Sync settings between PCs with OneDrive, please note the section on Choose which settings to sync as it does list a troubleshooter that will try to automatically fix the syncing settings.
Here is another link from the www.eightforums.com that should assist you in overcoming this difficulty.
Sync Your Settings - Turn On or Off in Windows 8 You may need to turn the setting on and off a couple of times as that seemed to work for other people.
If this has not helped, I suggest you try a Refresh Your PC to Resolve Problems (Windows 8).
This will reinstall the OS but should not affect your personal files. I do suggest doing a backup first just in case.

What fills up storage on icloud, they say photos on photo stream, apps, purchased music, books or videos don't count against the free 5GB they give you. Mine is full and I only back up contacts, calendars, passbook and find my iphone

Might be your backup if you have lots of photos and videos in your camera roll. Might be your email if you have lots of saved messages with large attachments. Might be backups of older or different devices that you no longer need.

Three apps don't connect to the server.

After updating to ios 7, three applications do not connect to the server. I restored iphone 5, and then restored from backup. I have tried resetting the network settings, user and password reinserted Itunes Store, Runtastic, and customer service 3. These are the 3 apps that do not work. Do you know a solution?

It was not possible to solve the problem. So I restored iphone and downloaded the native apps. The data has been lost, except those saved to iCloud. IOS 7 working properly. Definitely a mistake in the rescue and directories backed up, that he could not connect to the server in those 3 applications.

I understand that you have an iPhone from your friend that is still associated with their iCloud account. You will need to disassociate the iPhone from your friend’s iCloud account in order to resolve your issues:

802.1x School WiFi- Certain apps don't connect at school?

Hey all.
So my school's got 802.1X WiFi, and you need to login with a username and password to use it. Apps like Safari, Facebook, Tweetie and Score Mobile all connect fine and all work. But, apps like WhatsApp Messenger, Ping!, Mail.app, and IM+ just stay at "connecting..." or whatever. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but all those apps use push notifications. Any idea on how to fix this?

Your school may be blocking the ports that those apps are trying to use. Check with the IT people at your school.

My ipod won't sync and it keeps coming up with an error message saying "internal error" or it tries to get me to restore from a backup. All of my music and movies have been wiped from my ipod and the apps don't work. The backups don't work either. help.

I plugged my ipod touch into my computer to sync it and it came up with an error message saying that it encoutered an internal error and it refused to sync.
I then unplugged it and plugged it back in and this time it told me that I needed to restore from a backup or set it up as a new ipod. I tried to restore from a backup but it came up with the error message "Backup session failed" every time. I then looked on my ipod and all of my music and movies are gone though it still says that they are on the ipod in itunes. I decided to use the restore function and let that finish. After restoring it still doesn't allow me to sync or back up and The music and movies can still not be seen. I am currently attempting to copy the music and movies to my ipod though this did not work with my apps as they transfered but when I attempted to open them they just crash... If someone could please help me it would be great. It is driving me crazy.

If you get an error that says can't backup, try moving the existing backup file to a safe location and thry again. again. You can find the location of the backup file here:

My undertanding is that when you double-click the home button, the apps that are shown are those that are currently active. The reason you are not seeing all of them is that not all of them are active. Before you can access an app in the multitask bar, it has to be turned on first. As a test, try accessing the Notes application. Return to the home screen by clicking the Home button ONCE. Once the home screen appears, double click the home button to bring up the multitasking bar. The Notes app should be on the far left.

Creative Cloud app don't connect

Creative Cloud has stopped working.

When i want to watch a movie in quicktime in safari, it says i need quicktime to view it.
but quicktime 7.2 works fine.
