Classic SCAs cannot be transported by CMS

I am following the ESS/MSS JDI cookbook, but run into problems when chekcing-in SCAs. Five SCAs are supposed to be checked in:
MSS
PCUIG
SAPBUILDT
SAPJEE
SAPJTECHS
But when I go to the check-in tab in the transport studio and push the "value help" in "Archive name" field I only see 2 of the SCAs. (MSS and PCUIG).
If I type in the filename of the other SCAs I get this error:
invalid file content: /usr/sap/trans/JTrans/CMS/inbox/SAPJTECHS14_0.SCA Classic SCAs cannot be transported by CMS, they must be deployed using the SDM directly
Any ideas?

Solved!
The correct version of these files are now built in in the BUILDT archive.

  • Enhancements is not active and cannot be transported

    Hi All,

  • HT2553 My ipod classic 160gb cannot be synced by my windows vista. the library is copied alright but cannot be synced into the ipod; HELP! !

My ipod classic 160gb cannot be synced by my windows vista computer. The library is copied alright, but the ipod cannot be synced; Help! How can I overcome this, please?

    Hi, Chris,
    I mean, when I load my itune library as usual and the syncing starts, I get the problem as described as follows;
When I try to sync, I see the songs being copied then I get a message, say after about 45minutes, that, itunes cannot read the ipod contents because the ipod data drive is corrupt. I have tried different things to no avail. It is very fraustrating, and if I may say so, very disturbing.
I hope somebody can help me, for I can see now that, many people have got similar problems and they haven't been able to solve. I understand this is a common ipod problem and many people have had to abandone their ipods after such problems. It is very hurting because ipods are very expensive to buy, and so to write it off like that is very dis-heartening.

  • Integration Directory - Transport using CMS does not appear

    Hi guys,
I'm having problems with one thing I thought it would be trivial.... I'm not able to get the option 'Transport using CMS' in the Integration Directory available.
I've done the necessary steps on the exchangeProfile in order to transport objects using CMS.
    1. Configuring ExchangeProfile
    IntegrationDirectory
    com.sap.aii.ibdir.core.cms.enableTransportWizard=true
    com.sap.aii.ibdir.core.cms.enableClTransport=true
    IntegrationRepository
    com.sap.aii.ibrep.core.cms.enableClTransport=true
    com.sap.aii.ibrep.core.cms.enableTransportWizard=true
    Added the values to com.sap.aii.ib.client.properties
    u2022 com.sap.aii.ibrep.core.cms., com.sap.aii.ibdir.core.cms.
    2. And after, I've created the tracks needed for IntegrationRepository and IntegrationDirectory.
For the IntegrationDirectory I've followed SAP's description:
"You have created an XI track in the Landscape Configurator and entered the addresses of the development, consolidation, and productive directory. There are no software component versions in the Integration Directory. Therefore, for directory transports using the CMS, you specify the software component version SAP-INTDIR 3.0 (EXCHANGE DIRECTORY 3.0). This refers to all configuration objects of the Integration Directory.
Once you have made this setting, you can create transport lists for the CMS. The status of the change lists no longer changes to Closed immediately after their release, but first changes to Transportable."
    3. I've restarted the J2EE Server.
When I export the objects from IntegrationRepository everything runs OK, but on the IntegrationDirectory I'm not able to have the option 'Transport Using CMS' available.
I've read several threads on the SDN but none of them solved the problem...
Can anyone give me any hint ?

    Hi Sameer,
No luck.... There's nothing similiar to what I'm describing and the points which are mentioned i've already covered them.
Thanks for the tip, I was hoping it could give me a push...
    Any ideas...?

  • Transport using CMS Export Error on Integration Repository

    Hello
We are transporting an maximo-integrate,max60-ERP2004 via export mode
Transport using CMS. Got an error during export. The error says :
"Workspace was not defined for software component version Maximo-
    Integrate,MAX60-SAPERP2004 of mro.com
Assign the software component version in the landscape configurator of
the change management service to a track."
As already software component version Maximo in the landscape
configurator of the change management service to a track has been
    defined.
The Software component (SWCV) has already been defined on CMS. But still getting the error.
Please advise anybody comes across these type of error.

    XI URL Development : http://sap03.ab.energy:50000/rep/
XI URL Consolidation System : http://sap03.ab.energy:50100/rep/
Because we have 2 system landscape.
    ADD SWCV

    But on Domain Data:
    CMS Name : XID
    CMS Description : XID

    CMS USER : LSADMIN
    CMS Password : XXXXX
    Domain ID:XID
    Domain Name:XID

  • "Transport using CMS" option does not appear

    Hello Guys
I use CMS for transporting, and it works fine! But today I created a new SWCV, created a Track on CMS to this SWCV too. But when I choose "Export" on IR, the screen that appers does not show the "Transport using CMS" option. Only the "Transporte using File System" option is available for this SWCV.
    Any idea?
    Thanks in advance
    Julio

    Hi (and thanks for answering)
The SWCV is in http://host:port/rep/support/admin/index.html, but its name is "Not available"
I did update my domain, but it didnt work at all (the name of the SWCV still is "Not available" and the "Transport using CMS" option didnt appear in IR).

  • Reg:: Error while XI Transport Using CMS

    Hi! SAP Guru’s,
I am trying to transport XI Integration Design and Configuration Objects from X42 (DEV) to X44 (Quality).
I want to transport Transport ID Design:5909a730a2fe11dcc8dd001125e7370c
                                                              Configuration: 1c3d0c90a30111dcb2c0001125e7370c
I was succefully transported the Design object but while I am transporting the Configuratio Object at First I am moving from X42-&#61664; CMS and then from CMS-&#61664;X44.
<b>ERROR 1 ::</b> But once I am Exporting I am getting an acknowledgement message and finally it was moving to CMS. But there in Consolidation TAB it was coming<b> “IMPORT FAILED”.</b>
But when I tried 6-7 times I sended it successfully and there that objects first went (sits) directly in Change lists of quality server ID Part. From change lists I am transferring to Scenarios by Right click&#61664;Transport.
<b>ERROR 2</b>: According to CMS some parameters will be lost in communication channels and in some other objects. while transporting using CMS.
<b>How to recollect that parameters again ?</b>
Will you please confirm simply copying the parameters from Development server and again editing or Is there any other method?
<b>ERROR 3:.</b> While I am activating any object in Configuration object I am getting the error
    <b>
“Unable to move object. Change lists were not part of the same import”</b>
Kindly Solve this issue and If Possible send me a brief note and complete procedure of

  • Cannot see transported items in Queue, even after releasing them.

I cannot see transported items in Queue, even after releasing them. When Iam in transaction: SE09, I am able to see all the released objects, and the check marks next to each one which looks good...Where are these files? Under usr/sap/trans, they show up under logs with nothing in them except log data...Not in Cofiles & datafiles either.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
    Alan

    Hello Jazz!
Our developer released them, and I will get more details from him. We can see them when in SE09/10. Just cannot see them in the import queue? Also can't find the files under: usr/sap/trans, except the logs???
We just want to find these files, and either zip them up, or put them on a CD for later use, and this project will wind down soon.
Any other suggestions on how we can find these files, as all exports normally show up in usr/sap/trans/data, and cofiles...but not in this case???.
    Thanks Again,
    Alan

  • Transport via CMS (Java stack) no longer available after upgrade to sp 14

    Hello
Recently we have upgraded our SAP-XI  (SAP NetWeaver 2004s) up to service pack 14.
Since then the CMS is no longer available on the Java stack. Exporting objects is only possible using the File System.
When we try to release change lists for CMS transport we get the following errors:

Has anybody experienced similar problems with service pack 14 and has found a solution to "reactivate" the CMS? Might it be an authorization problem (UME)?

    Hello Lieselot
The upgrade of our SAP-XI was done by an external company. Therefore I cannot tell you the detailed procedure.
However, you should search the Service Marketplace for patches of support package 0014 (there should be at least one patch around).
If I remember correctly patching was required on both ABAP and Java stack.
    Regards
      Uwe

  • IPod Classic 120gb cannot be synched - unknown error 13014

While using iTunes 8.0.1 as I usually would, I unintentionally unplugged my ipod 120gb classic from the usb drive briefly. I plugged it back in and went to play a track and got the 'The iPod "ipodname" cannot by synched. An unknown error occurred (13014)' error that I've been reading has been affecting iphone/ipod touch users. I never have enabled synching though - I do all my music management through manual means since my pc is where I store my music - I just stream the songs off of my ipod when I'm on my macbook. This error comes up pretty much every time the track switches or just generally when songs are playing back from my ipod - not from the select few files that are on my macbook's local drive. It's horribly annoying! I can't ignore it either because the itunes icon bounces around on the dock until I click okay to dismiss it, and I can't switch tracks or pause with a keystroke or within itunes using the cursor until I dismiss it.
Thus far I have tried several things that were suggested in the iphone/ipod touch suggestions, including exiting the program, restarting the computer, restarting the computer and restarting the ipod, installing Applejack and repairing the permissions and clearing the cache, using the Disk Utility and repairing the permissions like that, powering down the system for a minute, upgrading to 8.0.2., and completely reinstalling (using 8.0.2 since apple has taken down the previous version).
I'm at my wits end here.. I need a solution.
    Help!
    -Kyle

I don't use Genius so its not a feature I have running.. I've tried every suggestion I've read (that seemed to fix most people's problems) and still am having an issue. The computer I'm currently on is running version 8.0.0 of iTunes and I'm not having issues though..

  • IPod Classic 120GB cannot sync, "Required disk not found"

Somebody, please help! iPod Classic 120GB charcoal, current OS as of about a week ago (won't stay synced long enough for me to see what it is), iMac 24" 10.6.4, iTunes 10.0.1. Let me know if you need any more info and I'll try to provide it.
Everything was absolutely fine until I updated to the newest version of iTunes. Now, when I plug in my iPod, it says it's connecting then jumps straight to the "Okay to disconnect" screen. It never shows up in iTunes at all. After doing this repeatedly, I unplugged it then immediately plugged it in again before it had finished the progress bar on the "Okay to disconnect" screen, and it finally showed up in iTunes, but it gave me an error of "iPod was not properly disconnected" then "cannot sync - required disk not found" and disconnected itself again.
I tried resetting it (menu+center buttons) while it was plugged in, and this did nothing. iTunes still didn't recognize it at all.
About a week ago, I followed some instructions somewhere and toggled the "enable disk use" option (I usually keep it unchecked) then was able to restore it. The songs were added back in a bizarre order (not alphabetical, not chronological, songs within an album added out of order, jumping from artist to artist, etc.) and I had to sync it again for three random albums that it missed the first time, but once everything was in again it was fine. I haven't added any new songs or playlists to my iTunes library since then (just changed a few ratings and I like to keep track of play counts), but when I tried to sync it again this morning, I got exactly the same errors.
The only difference this time is that it alerted me that one song in my library (a song I happen to like very much) could not be synced. The song still shows up on my iPod, but will not play. It still appears and plays in iTunes on the computer.
The iPod works perfectly in day-to-day use and is a little over a year old. I take very good care of it (my previous iPod is four or five years old and still works fine) and it has never had any problems before this. It has almost 100GB worth of music (no other media, just music), which makes it pretty annoying to have to restore it more than absolutely necessary. What is going on here and is there some way to fix it that will last longer than a week?

Hi, yeah I'm experiencing the same issue as everyone else with a 120gb iPod classic using iTunes 10.1.1 (4). Started about the time of OSX 10.6.5 update and hasn't been resolved with the OSX 10.6.6 update.
iPod attempts to Sync but now quits without even appearing on the computer let alone iTunes.
I have ESET security but quitting the app doesn't help.
I also have an iPhone 3Gs and that's still syncing fine (thank heavens), via a different library.
I've since managed to wipe the iPod clean (back to factory settings) as forced to do so by following the instructions in another post to remove the iPod Photo Cache. I then moved my iTunes folder to another directory for safe keeping.
I set up a clean iTunes database thinking my old one might have been corrupted. To do this you open iTunes from scratch while holding down the option key and select "Create Library". iTunes then remembers the last library created whenever you open the app.
When I am able to see the iPod summary screen (a rare occurrence now) I see that "enable disk use" is checked ok - this has been noted as a problem in previous forums. So that's not the issue.
Actually the iPod doesn't even stay connected to my 2010 unibody MacBook Pro when the iPod is switched over to disc mode. It immediately goes into "OK to Disconnect".
So I now have a clean iPod, and clean iTunes - all empty and essentially useless!
Anybody out there with any ideas? Plllleeeeeeeese?

  • Cannot view transport controls

For some reason I am unable to view my transport control bar, when it used to be visible. I think it may be a silly problem that I just cannot seem to fix, though I've tried adjusting the screen and everything I can think to help fix the problem. I simply cannot scroll down to the bottom of the screen to see the transport controls though when i minimize it on screen with the other applications showing it is obvious that the controls are at the bottom of the page. I just cannot access them when I have garage band pulled up. HELP!

Wow - thank you!!! I had no clue that's what I needed to do, so now I feel slightly ridiculous. In any event, I appreciate it!
