Classic wont open for my game

I have diablo 2 and i just baught the expansion. Diablo 2 installed fine but apparently the expansion needs classic to install or somthing. We have "panther" and Mac OSX version of softwere for the computer is what my parents said. Now everytime i click install. the classic thing starts going up and down on the task bar at the bottom but then it stops and error message comes up and says "Classic cannot find a Mac OS 9 system folder on the startup disk to use." " you made need to install Mac OS 9.1 or later (Classic Support) on your computer. To select system folder on another volume click, open classic preferences."
Thats all it says and im stumped. i really want to install the game but i dont want to screw up my computer and make my parents mad . How can i instal the game? Please Help

Go to System Preferences and double-click on Classic. Does "System Folder" appear under the name of the hard drive, and is it selected? If not selected, click on "System Folder" to select it and then click on the Start Button.
If no System Folder (the OS 9 System Folder is distinct from the OS X System) shows up in System Preferences> Classic, it can be reinstalled from the Application Backup / Restore disc that came with the eMac (the exact disk OS 9 is on depends on which Mac model and optical drive the eMac originally shipped with). Or the contents of the OS 9 System Folder may have been moved or deleted; check OS X: How to Perform Mac OS 9 Clean Install for steps to fix that.

It seems as if that post is getting some help...and its exactly what i need...but it wont open for me..PLEASE...ANYBODY....this is becoming extremely frustrating...

I again –just now – uninstalled Adobe Reader 10.1.2 and got an "installation complete and no error codes. However, as before, attempting to open Adobe Reader with the desktop shortcut results in an “Adobe Reader cannot open in Protected Mode due a problem with your system configuration. Would you like to open Adobe Reader with Protected Mode disabled?” Regardless of my answer “Open with Protected Mode disabled” or “Do not open with Protected Mode disabled” the program opens and displays the “C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader\Eula.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
I am using Adobe Reader 10.1.2, Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 and the 64 bit operating system.
I cannot find MSI log.

Firefox wont open for windows 7

I have downloader firefox installed and wont open the solution of the start task bar end processes will not work because it requires you to try and open again. wheni click on it it acts like it will load and nothing happens. new computer with regulare kapernsky checks no other issues. it was working orginally then just stopped i have uninstalled and reinstalled already with no success any answers?

Enable the guest account in Windows 7 and see if itunes will open in that account.
This will tell us if it's a user-specific problem, or system-wide.
Then work through the steps here,depending on what you find in the guest account.

RAW wont open for nikon d7100- wont let me update raw plugin

I just got a new camera- nikon d7100- i switched form nikon d5000. I can not open raw files with the 7100. i have tried downloading the upgrade for the plug in, i have tried tech support to where they took over my computer- still nothing. it will still open raw files from the d5000. I dont know what to do, i shoot mostly in raw!!!! i DO NOT have the money to upgrade to cs6! I can't do my work!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!

My iTunes wont open for me and i've reinstalled it and it still dont work?!

It started the other day, everytime I click on iTunes, it comes up saying that iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. And it askes me if I would like to Send Error Report or not. I have removed iTunes off my computer completely and reinstalled it and it still didnt work. So I removed it again and used a different email to use for it and installed it and it still doesnt work for me now. Can anyone please help me? I have an ipod and i cant add my music without iTunes.....

Hey I know how fusterating it is. I have an ipod nano (2nd gen) and I am having the same problem. It's been over a month now. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall it and it still won't come up. I click on it and it says "itunes has encountered a problem and needs to close." I have sent error reports many times and still nothing. I spent over $200 and the product doesn't work. Let me tell ya, I am very unhappy and dissapointed. Please someone help.

They seem to be word files - they will open if I choose "open with" microsoft word, but if I double click they don't open they are appearing as PDF on my screen. I even opened one and then tried to "save as" making sure I chose .doc and they still appear as PDF
I just created a new document response.doc in word and when I saved to my desktop it appears as a PDF file and I absolutely did not create a PDF or save as PDF it was a simple word

The message says "Adobe reader could not open response.doc because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example attached in an email and not properly decoded)
The reader version is I believe the most current, I always update when prompted. OS is Windows 8

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Step 1

In the Console window, select
          DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ User Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of crash reports. The name of each report starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report related to the process in question. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful.

Safari wont open after downloading 'genieo', its taken over homepage on internet and only opens for 1 second before closing rapidly. deleted it but still cant open internet. please HELP!

safari wont open since downloading 'genieo' stupidly, well by accident i just looked what it is up..... as needed to crop song quickly and must have been on that page/..., i moved it to trash and removed it everywhere i could see it but its still taken over safari and so web page closes after 1 second of opening so i cant use it. There are removal instructions etc online but i cant get online to do them! how can i sort this out if i cant use the internet and change my homepage etc? Will people at Apple store be able to do this for me?

There are some instructions that take time with some attention to detail to attempt and also remove all parts of the genieo and other adware malware bad content that come with visiting or downloading a variety of web sites which may spread their ilk to those who unknowingly or unwittingly get downloads or install content that has been doctored with some untoward idea in mind. Some of the posers do this to disrupt or sell more dysfunctional cures to their created mischief. The cure (incl their uninstaller) may be as bad as the problem.

The browser issue is covered under one of the topic areas, as that may also include a re-direct device where an extra button or home page to junk keeps loading. Incorrect removal of the badware may cause Safari to fail. However, you can get use a different browser to get information such as visit the above site, or here, etc.
I do not know if the techs or genius at Apple Store would be able to remove the problem. One way it to erase everything on the computer, and start all over, and lose all your stuff. You should have a backup of your created content on a drive external to your computer, in addition to TimeMachine backups, for restoration purposes; this done before an issue strikes. The methods of removal are covered in the linked pages above.
Another way, as suggested in detail by Linc Davis, can be followed and perhaps resolve the issue, too; at some point this topic thread will be seen by more than a few people. This is not a new topic here.

Try to force quit the app
Double tap the home button. When you see the app previews on the screen scroll sideways if needed to get the preview in question on the screen. Flick that preview up and off the screen to close the app. Single tap the home button or home screen preview to exit the mode.
