Classification field in tcode IL02

Hi,
Can anyone please tell me in which database table the function location field (TPLNR) and class field (CLASS) is stored. Because I tried and found that the class field is in a structure ITOBATTR. but I need the database table along with TPLNR.
Please help.its urgent

Could you please share why you want to make tax Classification field mandatory in sales order.
Maintain Tax classification field for customer in Customer Master Data = (Sales Area Data - Billing document Tab page)
Tax Classification field for Material in Material Master Data = Sales Org. 1 View.
While creating sales order and enter customer and material system automatically fetch the tax classification related data into sales order.
Tax is calculated based on the ship to party.

Enhancing the Classification Datasources . Tcode - CTBW

Hi Guys,
we need to use customer exit for populating certaing classification field values in the Classification datasources ( tcode - CTBW).
could you please provide any document or info that whether it is possible to use the customer exit using CMOD for deriving the value for the calssification field.

I just have one more question ?? When I generate the datasource in transaction CTBW it is only generating the text datasource, for example
1CL_AMIL010
1CL_AMIL011
1CL_AMIL012 and so on, but the datasource for attributes 1CL_OMAT001 is not being genereted, and i don't know why.
I'm using 0MATERIAL_ATTR as base datasource, cat class = 01, Table MARA.
do you know why this attr datasource 1CL_OMAT001 is not being generated ? The system ask me for a password of developer user, but i don't have one.

Enable / disable classification fields in material master?

Hi experts
We hope to assign one group who could change the matieral master fields on classification.
Like one gropu who could change the classification fields- date, on mateiral master . others only could display
Is that possible to modify the program to enable or disable one field ?
Now we have mm02 for normal user and zmm02 for specific user.

Hi
When you create a role with transcation MM01, the Authorisation objects related to Classification are inherited from the transaction.
If you want to give the user only diplay options maintain the Activities as 03 for the authorisation object C_KLAH_BKL & give the Class Type Z01.
For the Chracteristics (Class maintenance)in the authorisation object C_TCLS_MNT maintain Activity 03 & Class type Z01
Similarly create another role & assign it to the user whco is authorised to create or chnage values, Give hm the activiies 01,02 & the class type Z01.
I feel that there is no requiremnt of changing the Program, as the authorisation objects are laready available.

Enter your Sales GL Account and Company code
Execute
Select (Ctrl+F8)
Select Sales document and Sales document item from the hidden fields (Right side)
Move it o Left side
Select Copy
And save it as your layout (Ctrl + F12)

Tax classification fields are not appeared in master data

Dear Experts,
I searched the forum about my issue but i did not get any solution.
I am not able to see the tax classification fields in customer master and material master.Even i assigned Country IN to JLST and JCST condition types by T-code OVK1.
FYI
I have copied the org elements from standard (which are already given by default).Initially i was able to see 2 different countries with tax MWST in both customer master and material master.
EX:
AT MWST
DE MWST
But i do not wanted these. so i deleted these assignment from OVK1 and assigned country IN to JLST and JCST,and i went to customer master and material master but those fields are not appeared.
Note:Country of plant,company code and sales organizations is IN
Help me to view tax classification fields in Master data.

Then how system knows this customer is liable for JLST.
In customer master, under the Taxes tab, it would be like
Country::::Name:::::Tax Cat.::::Description::::Tax Classification
While creating customer master, if your configuration is in line with standard, then under the tab Tax category, you can see MWST flowing automatically. You just have to input tax classification as 1, 2 etc.,
Also since as you said above, you are maintaining the combination of country/plant region/customer region/customer tax classification/material tax classification, you can very well differentiate VAT & CST.
Wherever customer region comes as your plant region, assign VAT tax code and wherever, customer region differs from plant region, assign CST tax code in VK11.

BDC for IE02 Classification Fields

Hi,
I am trying to create BDC for IE02 Equipment change for its Classification fields based on equipment object type.
When i create BDC with IE02 and when i go to the transaction and then Eq Specific TAB the fields become display only and i couldn't enter data.How to record BDC for Eq specific TAB in IE02?
Is that good to update the classification data for IE02 directly with "BAPI_OBJCL_CHANGE". The number of classification fields for each equipment type differs how can that be handled?

hi Arun,
Did you try changing the equipment using BAPI_EQUI_CHANGE ? There is a structure called DATA_SPECIFIC which is specific for Equipment related data.
For classification related changes, look at the FM's available in transaction BAPI

Add a additional field in tcode XK02 - control screen

I have to add an additional field in Tcode XK02 ie., in Control Screen, I couldn't find any screen exits. I hvae found one BADI VENDOR_ADD_DATA_CS .I have added a New field in Table LFA1 (the new field is T5UNT-NAICS ) through Append Structure but the append strcture is Partial Active. Also, how to add an additional field in the control screen of tcode XK02 using this BADI.

1. My table was partial active...so go to se11,Enter LFA1 in display mode, Go to Path Utilities-database utility.now click on Activate and Adjust database.it will activated fully.
2.
a) create a module programme with the the screenfield(LFA1-NAICS) that you want.
b) In pbo of module pool,enter following code
data : l_zfield type lfa1-NAICS.
constants: c_zfield(10) value '(SAPMF02D)LFA1-NAICS'.
field-symbols: <fse>.
assign (c_zfield) to <fse>.
if sy-subrc = 0.
 l_zfield = <fse>.

Addition of field on TCode QM02 and QM03

Hi,
We would like to add an additional field in TCode QM02 and QM03 on the claim information, vendor address tab. This field should be a free text field, where one can type explanations given by vendors for non-conformance. How can we go about achieving this? Are there any screen exits which we can use?

Check the following i am not sure if you can get a field exactaly where you want but we have the below screen exits for notifications, i would suggest please go through the documentation for them:
1. QQMA0001-incorporate additional data in notification header
2.QQMA0008-additional data on the details screen fro notification item
3.QQMA0010 QM/PM/SM: User Subscreen for Additional Data on Cause
4.QQMA0011 QM/PM/SM: User Subscreen for Additional Data on Task
5.QQMA0012 QM/PM/SM: User Subscreen for Additional Data on Activit

Add new custom fields in tcode VA05

In order to add new custom fields in tcode VA05, i need to change V05TZZMO which is a exit to populate the new fields.
But how can I edit V05TZZMO ? I must have development key to change that ?

As u have to modify the standard program directly not any customer exit or badi , for sales order transactions like va01 va02 , va03 , va51 etc..., so u need a developer key as a developer that is common for any program u write for the first time witha new userid + u need a standard sap access key also .

At the "Sales: sales org. 1" view of the material, there exist the tax classification field of the material master. How can I make this field mandatory?

Select Field name MARA - TAKLV and click on the arroow sysmbol on the right against that line.
For Field Ref MM01 - select the radio button "Reqrd Entry".

CV04N, classification fields w/multiple values be listed on results screen?

When using CV04N to search for document info records, I have a classification field that has multiple values. The search results screen only displays the first value of the multiple values. Is there a way to display all of the values that are selected on the search results screen?

Please note that this is the standard display beahvior in transaction CV04N. Unfortunatly it is not possible to display all saved values of a multiple value characteristic. Therefore only the first value is displayed. As only the first value of the characteristic is displayed also the filter functionality doesn't not display a document if you enter the second or third value.

does anyone know how to create an extractor for internal field (classification field)? My problem is that for the Investiment Program (IM Module) they have created classification field, now I am not able to identfy the fied where they are stored, in order to extract them.

As I said, I never needed to use that so I don´t know the functions behind it, it´s undocumented and that certainly for a reason
You will need to ask the people who developed that (in the development support @ SAP). It´s used for doing special tests, increase trace levels etc.

Is there any settings to fill automatically the tax classification fields In material master under sales : sales org 1 tab, tax data.
Could you please explain where we have to set the combination of country , taxcategory and tax classification. I have bit confusion about this relation ship.
My client requirement is to fill tax classification(Default 1 full tax) automatically while creating the material master data. Kindly guide me how to proceed in this regard...

You want to know "Is there any settings to fill automatically the tax classification fields In material master..." . NO, there is no settings to maintain those filled automatically. because you are maintaining master data. and from master data those information are proposed to sales order.
your second query regarding combination of country, tax category, tax classification. If you want to maintain the combination of country, tax classification(1.tax classification of customer and 2. tax classification of material.), you need to maintain proper combination of fields in the pricing procedure.(...basic function>pricing>pricing control>Define condition table). here you have to put the fields in the field catelog and create the table.(that mean a table should be include those fields). And secondly the Tax Classification, you have to maintain in customer master and material master (where you maintain tax details. e.g, 0-tax exempt, 1-taxable etc.). And finally you have to maintain condition record of pricing (vk11) mainting value in those respective fields.
