Classification or class to batch in confirmation order

hi
how to assign classification or class to batch in confirmation order if its not getting automatically
thanking you

Hello,
Characteristics are assigned to classes,Classes are in turn assigned to material master classification type.
Assigning batches to Production order is done by the below link:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sbo88/helpdata/en/6b/509e741cdd4b36857ac330fb85327d/frameset.htm
Then once you have production order you can confirm the same.
Hope the information was useful

    Hello Gurus,
Does anyone know a FM/BAPI/Class to create service confirmation from service order ?
    With warm regards,
    Kallol Bhowmick

    Hello Kallol
You can trigger a confirmation from service order using action profile.
Here is how to define action profile:
IMG > CRM > Basic Functions > Actions > Actions in Transaction
    Dialog Stucture> Action profile:
    Object type = BUS2000116
    Context class = CL_DOC_CONTEXT_CRM_ORDER
    Dialog Stucture> Action Definition:
Processing time: Processing using selection report
Check box schedule automatically, Changeable in dialog and executable in dialog.
    Dialog Stucture> Processing types
Permitted processing types of actions: Select - Method Call
Settings method call: Method - COPY_DOCUMENT (you can also try COPY_DEF_ITEMS)
    Processing Parameter:
-Select change icon a new window opens - container editor
-select create icon another window opens - display container editor
    Here enter following:
    Element = PROCESS_TYPE
    Name = PROCESS_TYPE
    short desp = PROCESS_TYPE
    Tab > Dtype:
    Structure = CRMC_PROC_TYPE
    Field = PROCESS_TYPE
    Tab> initial value
Here maintain the transaction type of your confirmation.
save your action profile. Now assign action profile to Service oder transaction type.
    I hope this info helps.

  • De-allocate batch from sales order

How do you de-allocate a Batch from the Sales Order , so that it becomes available to another Order?
I removed the Batch from the sales order and saved the order. A confirmation without the batch was created . However when I tried to determine the same batch in another Order it was not available.
I then rejected the line item and saved the order , and it allowed me to pick up the batch in a second order.
ATP quantity was available however the batch was not getting recognized till I rejected the order.
Any ideas on why this case?
    Thanks,
    Asha

    Hi,
This is because, when you ran Availability check, the batch was already reserved for the sales order. So once you remove the batch number, you should run availability check once again. Dont forget that if you are giving some other batch number to teh order now, the batch should have some stock.
So, after changing or deleting the batch number, run availability check once and then save the order. Then create the second sales order and assign the batch number. It will take the batch.

  • How to make Classification entry pop up while creating internal order(KO01)

    Dear All
I need to have the characteristics values of the class assigned to my internal order POP UP during the Internal Order Creation (KO01)
I have activated the necessary config and the class , characteristic and characteristic value is able to generated successfully. Also, I have activated classification in order type.
I have  make the characteristic value as Required Entry but it still does not pop up to ask me for entry, instead it just shows a general message as follows:
+Status changed: missing values for required chars in TM0000000002OR
    Message no. CL500
    Diagnosis
You want to save an allocation to a class with released status. However, the class contains characteristics for which an entry is required.
    System Response
The system changes the status of the allocation to incomplete.
    Procedure
If you want to save the allocation with released status, first you must assign values to all the required characteristics. Then you can set the status you require.
    Note
The classification status affects functions such as the find objects function. You can define whether objects with incomplete classification status are included in the search result.
If the classification status of a configurable material is incomplete for an allocation to a class, this does not affect configuration.+
    Please advise. Thanks.

  • Stock of Batch in Process order

    Hi,
    The Requirement is as follows:
Material A is used as a component in Process Order and is managed in Batches. The requirement is the system should show the the available batches with stock when F4 is done for Batch field in Component overview of the Process order.
    Regards,
    Prasad

    Hi Dhaval,
There is no search filter as Batches in Unrest.
The following search filters are available:
    1. Searches for batches via classes
    2. batches for plant material
    3. batches for Material
    4. Batches for valuation type
    5. Valuation types for the material
    6. Batch work list
    7. original batches for plant material
    8. Original batches for material
    9. Batches for vendor
My requirement is to get those Batches which contains stock with unrestricted status. ie batch list with expiry as mentioned by you.

  • Error when selecting batch during prod order creation

    Hi Gurus,
When selecting batch for production orders components, an error prompted 'Invalid batch, does not match the selection criteria in batch determinat.'
After checking, it is because the classification is not maintained. So I need to re-create in MSC2N.
The question is, how/where should I change back the configurations on checking the batch classification during prod ord?
    Thank you.

    Kumar,
Please let me know how many Component items are there in the BOM? Out of which how many are Phantom assembly?
It looks like when the BOM is copied to the order it is crossing 9999 items.
I would suggest you to use an intermediate order/material to reduce this number.
I think there was an OSS notes for this to extend the number of character length for BOM items numbering (POSNR).
    Hope this helps...Reward your points,

  • How can mass create batch classification for many material batches? ?

    Hi Experts,
In our system , there are so many material batches which have not been classified, see by
    BMBC Tcode.
That means these batches has no values in the batch class. I know we can create
classification for these batches with MSC2N Tcode.
But there are so many batches  which have not been classified, more then 2000.
It is not possible to create classification for every batch with with MSC2N once a time.
So how can I create batch classification for so many batches once a time?
How can I mass create batch classification for so many batches??
    Thanks for any reply!

    Hi,
Please be aware that SAP does not support the use of batch
input in the classification system. SAP recommends you use BAPI's for
example in your case BAPI BAPI_OBJCL_CREATE and BAPI_OBJCL_CHANGE
would be able to help. For more information, please have a look at the
    note: 943559 - Point 2 and 13. Point 13 references the note 1083986.
    I hope this helps!.

  • "Reserved" batch numbers on orders "stolen" by unconnected deliveries

    Hi,
I've had a good look around the many postings on here relating to batch determination issues and can't find one that fits this scenario, so her goes with a new post....
For some batch managed materials we trigger batch determination at order entry. For all batch managed materials we trigger batch determinatio nat delivery creation (obviously not if the batch has already been determined on the order).
I have a scenario that is causing a problem. Maybe it's just an issue of understanding how SAP really works.
I enter an order for material ABC and (correctly, due to set-up) batch determination is triggered and batch number 123 is assigned to the order. The quantity involved is the full quantity of the batch that is in stock. The order schedule line is confirmed but for a few days in the future so no Delivery to be created yet.
Meanwhile a Delivery is created for another order (that is confirmed for current date) for material ABC (where no batch was assigned to its order) and this assigns batch number 123, thus "stealing" the stock of the batch from the earlier order it was allocated to.
Is this "normal" or do I have a problem with a) my batch set-up or b) my availability check being applied on the deliveries?
    Thanks,
    M

    Hi Shiva Ram:
I did what you suggested. I checked "include sales reqmts" and "include deliveries" in both sales order and delivery availability check control (OVZ9).
    yet problem persists.
    Material-xyz
    total quantity (in MMBE & CO09): 15 (batch-AA:5 & batch-BB:10)
    Scenario-I:
I created sales order-1 with order quantity 5 and hard allocated batch AA.
I created sales order-2 with order quantity-15 and did not allocate batch in the sales order.
We have batch determination at delivery.
batch job created delivery "12345678" (through VL10G) for sales order-2 with full quantity (15). It grabbed the quantity from sales order-1 to create above delivery.
Scenario-II: (for some other materials, it is behaving like below, though it got same availability check on MMR)
I created sales order-1 with order quantity 5 and hard allocated batch AA.
I created sales order-2 with order quantity-15 and did not allocate batch in the sales order.
I had put a delivery block (which does not block confirmations at line item level) at schedule line in sales order-1.
I had let system to create delivery for sales order-2. This time, system created delivery for quantity of 10 (because of back order logic). Its fine until now.
However, I went back to sales order-1 and removed delivery block. When I am trying to create delivery, it says "Only 0 EA of material XYZ batch-AA available." But, in the sales order, when I ran availability check, it still shows 5 are available. I am confused.
am i missing anything in the config? please advise. it helps me lot.
thanks for your time in advance.

We would like this two date of the batch of the production order to be blocked on all modification possible, is there any set-up way we can do in order to block those date for future modifcation by some user? please help and guide us to do this.

  • "How to pass classification characteristics while creating batch" ?

    Hi,
I am using FM's BAPI_BATCH_CREATE/CHANGE while creating/changing batch I have to maintain classification data aswell. But in FM docu i saw as shown below
1.Create the classification of a batch in the background (object characteristics only)
    2. If the batch is to be classified, you must specify a class in the BatchControlFields parameter. Only single classification is possible.
According to above statments I have passed class name in Batch Control Fields but I am unable to find " How to pass classification characteristics while creating batch". Please tell me how to pass classification characteristics in background?

Hi, You can update classification for a batch using the following code.
But first, you'll need to find out that the batch management is cross-plant or plant dependant.
If it is cross plant then plant(WERKS) is not part of the key to BAPI_OBJCL_CONCATENATEKEY.
    CLEAR: objectkey, objectkeytable, objectkeytable[],
               allocvaluesnumnew, allocvaluesnumnew[],
               return.
        objectkeytable-key_field = 'MATNR'.
        objectkeytable-value_int = matnr.
        APPEND objectkeytable.
        objectkeytable-key_field = 'CHARG'.
        objectkeytable-value_int = charg.
        APPEND objectkeytable.
    * Only if Batch management is Plant dependant
        objectkeytable-key_field = 'WERKS'.
        objectkeytable-value_int = werks.
        APPEND objectkeytable.
        CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_OBJCL_CONCATENATEKEY'

allocvaluesnumnew-charact =  "characteristic name goes here".
allocvaluesnumnew-value_from =  "characteristic value goes here".
        APPEND allocvaluesnumnew.
        CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_OBJCL_CHANGE'
          EXPORTING
            objectkey                = objectkey
objecttable              = 'MCHA' " MCH1 in case of cross-plant batch management
classnum                 = classnum " Classification class number, as used in MSC2N

  • Report for mass interruption of partially confirmed orders in PPDS?

    Hi gurus,
our client has a lot of partially confirmed orders in the past, and this is giving us problems with the optimizer.
Is there a report for mass interruption of this orders?
We can do it one by one in the DS planning board, but there are too many!
    would appreciate any help,
    Pablo

    Hi Pablo,
I would suggest you can close the partially confirmed orders at R/3 itself
so that it will update in APO via CIF.
There is delivery complete indicator in R/3 production/process order which
upon checking will close the order.

  • Batch at the order header level

    Hi ,
When I transfer the production order from SAP ERP to SAP ME , The Batches at the order header level (Goods Receipt) have not been  transferred to SAP ME.with out these  batches goods receipt in ERP while backflush is failed. How SAP ME can handle this?
    Regards,
    Guru.

    Hi,
In the customer master data > sales area data > shipping view , check the " Complete delivery required by law " box.
This indicates whether a sales order must be delivered completely in a single delivery or whether the order can be partially delivered and completed over a number of deliveries.
And once the order is totally shipped, there would not be any more items left to be shipped as we are configuring it for complete delivery. However, in order to restrict the user not to enter any more materials in the change mode, write an exit program in USEREXIT_FORM_SAVE to disable any changes to the existing order.
    Hope it helps.
    Thanks & Regards
